Jagged Edge leaned against the wall of a nearby building, his hoodie concealing his face. A tan bat pony, with blue-tipped orange mane, neck mane orange with a blue highlight, orange tail with a blue center surrounded by a thin line of red, and a small light brown beard. He had a dark brown scar on his right eye, which was blue, and a red scar on his left eye, which was red. The interior skin on his wings was also blue. Not small, but also not bulky, Jagged Edge has a medium frame size. About a half a head taller than a 5' 9 man, gives him some advantages. His previous occupation had him trim, and made him strong. Being a farm hand for several years is what qualified him for these rescue missions. Equipped with a pocket knife, a small glock, and a radio, he was as ready as he could be.
"Com check, one two, three." Jagged Edge whispered as he put a hand to his ear.
"Loud and clear, Jagged." A man responded on the other end of the line.
"Tone it down on your end, please." Jagged flinched from the loud voice, his ears flicked involuntary.
"Sure thing, boss." The man replied.
Peaking around the corner, Jagged huffed. "Harold, how many times do I have to say, I'm not the boss here?"
"Well, you do have your own way of doing things. I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just your eyes and ears, Jag." Harold retorted.
Harold Snelwood is a mid 20s computer tech manager, located about a quarter mile from Jagged's current location. Dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, a medium frame, and a sense of humor, his specialty is of course, computers and gadgets. Harold and Jagged Edge were assigned to each other about 6 cases before.
"Target in sight?" Harold asked as his screen blipped as Jagged's location was found from a GPS embedded into a smart watch.
Jagged Edge looked around the corner again, and nodded. "Yep, target location is in sight. Do I have a ready light?"
Harold looked to the team head coordinator, Jake Hapnik, who gave a thumbs up. Harold nodded to a few other people, and said with enthusiasm, "You have a ready light, Jagged. Begin the extraction. And be safe."
Jagged Edge started walking out from behind his hiding spot, and headed to the door in the ally, fingering the large sum of money in is pocket. Immediately, he spotted a guard outside of the door. The bouncer. "I don't like the looks of this guy." he mumbled under his breath.
"You'll be fine, just do your thing. The man don't look that big." Harold chimed in.
"Right. You're also not the one walking up to him. Goddammit, he looks like a body builder." Jagged Edge hissed back.
The man saw Jagged, and promptly stood up straight. "State your business." His deep voice ground together like metal on metal.
"Can I join the club? Just looking for the party." Jagged said calmly. He tried to walk past the man, but the man steps into his path.
"Pay up pal." he growls, holding out his huge left hand.
'We got a lefty here' Jagged mused, flicking an ear. Jagged Edge pulled out the wad of money, and splits it. "Here's half now, then I'll give the rest when I leave, OK big guy?" he places fifty dollars into the man's hand, and tries again to skirt around, only to run into the brick wall.
"I said, pay up pal." The man repeated.
Jagged Edge takes a step back. "Hey, easy. You'll get your money. I'll give it to ya on the way out, then things will be just peac-urk!" The man had grabbed his neck, and lifted him up about 3 inches, cutting him off. Jagged Edge's wings fluttered helplessly in his hoodie. The man leaned in, his face mere inches from Jagged's muzzle. "What part of 'pay up' don't you understand, pony. "
Jagged glared. "Listen buddy. I'll be quick. In and out, you won't even know I was her-rrrrk!" The man squeezed, blocking the air to Jagged's already burning lungs.
"No money, no service." The man replied.
Jagged Edge hissed around the man's hand, fangs flashing in the soft street light glow. "Ner survith, no moneh. Pleyn an thimple." The man loosens his grip. "And what do you think my buddies are gonna do, when I say customer service was shitty at this place, huh? Bad reputation. I can have thith plath thut dowen, u knerow." Jagged gasped as the man squeezed again. Jagged Edge was pissed. 'I'm over this shit. Time for plan B.' He reached down, and grabbed a fist full of man meat and torqued it, hard. The man began to squirm and make faces. Jagged Edge pulled and brought the man closer. "Put me down, or we're going to have a problem. I ain't staying long. You'll get chure money..." Jagged twisted harder. "When I leave. Got it?" The man slowly nodded, eyes bulging.
The man set Jagged down as his eyes began to cross. "Thank you. I'll see you in an hour." And only then did Jagged Edge release. He waltzed passed the broken man, who let out a painful moan as his pecker and balls went back to normal size.
"Damn Jag. How do you do that?" Harold came online, stunned at the events that had transpired. The whole team that was patched in also had their jaws dropped.
"Easy," Jagged Edge mumbled. "I ain't afraid of things bigger than me. " He continued through another door, "We all have weak spots." Jagged Edge grins. "His just happened to be further south."
Harold shook his head, trying to stifle his laughter along with the rest of the team. "OK, take the door to your right. That's where all the action is."
Jagged Edge grumbled bitterly. "I don't see how males think this is fun. If I had my choice, I'd shoot 'em all." A heavy song soon came to his ears, as he walked down the hall. Females in lewd clothing, or even no clothes, speckled the hall. Males wandered around, going from girl to girl. Most were humans, others actual ponies from spells. Jagged's eyes flicked between them, dodging them as they reached out to him.
"Keep calm, Jag. Don't let them fool you." Harold said.
"I live by one rule. God gave me two heads. I intend on using at least one, the right way." Jagged Edge mumbled.
Stepping past a few ponies, he entered a large room, that had smaller rooms that branched off.
"Any sign of your target?" Jake said, looking at the monitor.
Jagged scans the faces. "Not yet, Jaker."
Harold puts his head on his hands. "Just how do you know this, particular target, anyway."
Not pausing from looking, he screws up his face. "Met her in college, on my occasional load runs, and at a café."
"Wouldn't it make this a personal case then?" Harold leans back in his chair.
Jagged continued to spin In circles, looking for the familiar face. "I'm getting her out. Then you can do whatever you want. I'd anything happens to her, " he lowers his voice. "I'll shoot every male in this goddamned fucking place."
"Oh boy, that would be a shit show." Jake mused.
Two mares, one an earth pony, the other, a Pegasus, walks up to Jagged Edge. "Well, well, well. Look at what wandered in here." The earth pony glanced at his crotch, licking her lips.
"Uh..." Jagged shudders as he tried to slip past them.
The Pegasus steps in front of him. "Not so fast, big boy."
Jagged's eyes went wide. "Listen, ladies, I'm j-just looking for t-the e- ACK!" The earth pony sat in her haunches, and enveloped three of his fingers in her mouth, causing him to flinch.
"Mmm~ me want." She moaned, drooling on his hand. She looks up at him with bedroom eyes.
Jagged jerks his hand away from her mouth as the Pegasus wraps a foreleg around his arm. "Awe C'mon bebe. Where's your sense of adventure?" She whispered as she pressed her pony nethers against his leg, soaking it.
Jagged weasels out of her grasp, laughing uneasily. "Sorry girls. M-maybe next time." He spins around and looses his pursuers in the crowd. He keeps skimming the faces, till he finds the unmistakable face. He froze. "Bingo."
Harold, who had covered his eyes during the ordeal with the mares, jolts up. "Got something?"
"Target locked on." He narrowed his multicolored eyes. "Gotcha, Lily." He starts walking to her direction. "And I'm getting you out." Jagged Edge's face twisted into a terrifying snarl. "One way... Or another."
