Eight years ago the world was struck by what has now come to be known as "The Cataclysm." An arcane disaster of planet-spanning proportions. In the blink of an eye, the entirety of the planet Equis was plunged into chaos. Aetheric maelstroms raged across the planet, swallowing anything unlucky enough to be caught in their paths unprotected. The very fabric of time and space became warped, twisting and looping back in on itself, creating strange anomalies all across the land. Yet the inhabitants of the planet decided that it was not their time to die.

This is a collection of stories and encounters set in an alternate version of Equestria I've been dreaming up for a while now. For anyone that decides to read this, I have a big word of warning: This is not a linear story, and there is no planned finish. This may, however, change as I develop the story more.

I never had a start or finish for this world, but I wanted to share all the stories I'd come up with for it. This story will most likely have the Incomplete tag on it forever, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't read it. Each chapter will most likely be a self-contained story set somewhere within the world, focused on one of the main factions.

You'll see elements that are obviously drawn from other settings, but have been given a new spin to fit this setting. Fractured Equestria is an amalgamation of different settings and franchises I love, lots of original ideas, and a _unhealthy dose of my own brand of madness.
