Canterlot City Mall: Kidds Toy Palace- Girls Section

Canterlot City mall was very multi-tiered with each level of the mall really having a different theme to what stores and shops were offered on each and many of the stores were very big and either reached high to the ceiling going from one floor of the mall to the next or they were far reaching to the back and had a lot of space in other ways. Either way all this space meant businesses boomed in Canterlot if you could afford the space in the mall and the owner of this toy store had plenty of stock to fill the shelves and it would leave the shelves just as quickly as it got there sometimes.

Kids in Canterlot loved their toys and with how much more advanced they'd been getting these day? It was no wonder toys were still competing with video games. Though then again this toy store sold video games too. As with other shops in the mall this store had multiple tiers though this was one of the only 2 shops that had a section of store on all three floors of the mall. The others included a popular clothing store Rarity frequented and the movie theater which were the most visited locations in the mall besides the food court of course.

With the toy store being so big and divided into sections, the entrance on the first floor was the section mainly for toddlers and little kids ages 1-10. There was a section for boys and a section for girls separated by the colors often used to tell the two genders apart like red, blue, black and green for the boys and pink, yellow, light blue, and white for the girls. The boys section was filled with action figures, dart guns, dodgeballs & Dragon Knights was the main attraction. However that is not where Sir Poundious the Mighty and his steed Pinkie the Sugary were charging head first into.

No they were going head first into the all girls section. The section awash in dolls, tea sets, jump rope, plushies & the main attraction here was the rival show to Dragon Knights and funny enough the two shows had a crossover coming up. The show was about a group of 4 magic using warrior girls based on different magical creatures and the show was called: P.O.N.Y.; with the letters standing for the names and colors of the four main characters.

It was a show that Sunset and Twilight watched with Pumpkin and Pound often even though it took them a bit of convincing to get Pound into the show. But after seeing how good the action was and coming to like the main characters he liked it as much as his sister did. All of this to say that this show had a big fanbase and it just so happened that today there was a new shipment of plushies in and Twilight and Sunset planned to take full advantage of that fact.

They'd come to this store many a time and preformed this act, all the little girls liked it when they did it because it brought something fun and new and unexpected to their visit. They even remembered a couple times when the owner of the store asked if they could come in and do the performance for charity events and of course they agreed. Whether playing the hero or the villain both Sunset and Twilight knew how to draw a crowd and that helped greatly here.

"Hello girls! Miss us? Lookie who I've got here!" Sunset with said with devious smile as she held Pumpkin captive and snuggled and tickled her still not allowing her to escape her grasp.

"Yahahahahahaha h-hehehehee-help!!!" Pumpkin laughed and flailed about in Sunset's grip as she got her little tummy tickled.

one little girl with yellow hair and pigtails would gasp. "Oh no! She's got pumpkin! Let her go!"

Several little girls gathered round her and shouted. "Yeah!"

Sunset smirked and stuck out her tongue at them. "Nyeh. I don't wanna, she's too cute to stop tickling. Buuuuut maybe I will if you all stop the big mean boy that's chasing us!" Sunset proclaimed dramatically.

"Boy?" The girls gasped as they felt it blasphemy for a boy to enter this part of the store.

"Mmmhm. Isn't that right Sparky?" She turned to ask her half morphed girlfriend with a cheeky smile.

Twilight nodded and turned her eyes to the girls putting on a pleading look. "Yeah, he was so mean and said that P.O.N.Y. is stupid and not fun!"

"What?!" They all gasped and screamed out now completely on Twilight and Sunset's side. No one called P.O.N.Y stupid and not fun! Those were fighting words! The little blonde girl with pigtail's eyes even changed red and her hair seemingly caught on fire.

"Yeah and the worst part is-?" Sunset cooked up some fake crocodile tears, hitched her voice and frowned. "H-He...He's taken Pinkie Pie hostage!!"

"Noooooooo!" They all shouted and cried. Pinkie Pie was a babysitter for many if not all these girls and so to hear that she'd been taken hostage by some icky yucky boy? They would not stand for this!

Pumpkin tried to speak up to defend her brother but her mouth was covered by Sunset and then Sunset whispered in her ear. "Play along and auntie will buy you an extra new toy" Sunset grinned as she saw Pumpkin's face light up at the prospect of being able to get another toy.

"Okay" Pumpkin said quietly with a giggle as she stayed in Sunset's grasp.

"So what do you say girls? Will you help us defeat the evil mean dragon knight boy!?" Sunset asked the girls in a rallying tone.

"Yeah!" The girls put their fists up cheering in unison.

"Good girls! You all keep him distracted. He's coming to get this!" Twilight said as she held up his precious action figure and smirked wondering what to do with it, in her half midnight state she had a tendency to be pretty devious but never really in a mean spirited way.

"To arms my little P.O.N.Y friends! Protect your princesses at all costs!" Warrior Princess Sunset declared to her legion of cute soldiers. Pumpkin smiled along with her and had finally stopped resisting as she stopped tickling her and the two were now in cahoots to thwart the efforts of Pound and Pinkie.

"Yes ma'am!" The girls all chanted as they went to arm themselves. While this was the girls section they did in fact have girl versions of boys toys like dart guns and toy weapons but it was mostly magic wands or plastic swords. Given that he had Pinkie Pie on his side he had a pretty big advantage.

"Justice shall be swift! Justice shall be beautiful! It shall be MAGICAL!!!" Shouted one little ten year old girl in a pink hooded cloak and an outfit that made her look like a cute little magical girl and she was armed with a replica of the characters weapon which was a big high tech looking hammer.

"Heheh I'd like to see Pinkie get past all this." Sunset said with a cheeky smirk knowing Pinkie would find a way somehow but that didn't make it any less fun to see how she would do it!

"This is gonna be fun!" Pumpkin said with a smile and hugged Sunset. "Thanks Auntie Sunny"

Sunset giggled and hugged Pumpkin back, she loved making the girl smile and showing her a fun time. She was apart of how she started her redemption after all. She had started babysitting her when she was 3 years old one time when Pound was away with her father on a trip and Mrs. Cake had a conference to go to. Pinkie Pie was also tied up visiting her family and so Sunset offered to babysit Pumpkin to show she really was changing; it started off pretty crazy since Pumpkin was hard to handle at first as a baby but over time she got used to it and now? She and Pumpkin were inseparable.

"No problem Pum-Pum. Now let's get the princess on her throne shall we?" Sunset said with a smile and walked over to a special toy throne that was apart of a playset for the P.O.N.Y show as it was a replica of the throne the main character's mentor sat in within their throne room. Sitting Pumpkin down in it she looked around and found free to play with replica's of the princess' crown and mighty magic scepter and gave it to Pumpkin since the princess was her favorite character.

She would then knee down and 'bow' to the princess and play along with the roles they had set up. "Praise be to the great and adorable High Princess Pumpkin Cake. What do you wish of me your high royal cuteness?" Sunset said with as much of a straight face as she possibly could muster.

Princess Pumpkin smiled and tapped the scepter on each side of Sunset shoulders. "Protect the princess from the dragon meanie!" Her orders were simply and too the point which Sunset liked. So she wished it? So it shall be!

"As you wish. Thy will be done; to me my mad Twientist!" She always said it this way in front of Pumpkin because she couldn't pronounce scientist and because it was a play on Twilight's name and the fact that she was indeed a mad scientist.

Twilight would get deep into her persona and crept up to Sunset with a devious almost insane smile. "Yessss Princess?"

Sunset grinned her old evil grin. "We have a couple of meanies to stop. They plan to ruin our sweet little princess' fun! We can't have that now can we?"

Twilight gasped dramatically and then smiled again. "Oh no, no, no, no we can't have that at all! No one spoils a princess' fun! We shall defeat them and they will be forced to watch the princess have her fun while they have none!" Twilight proclaimed trying to be as dramatic as possible.

Sunset smiled at Twilight deviously and just to tease and mess with Pumpkin she went up to Twilight and kissed her on the lips. "They don't stand a chance against us."

Pumpkin giggled and dramatically gagged at the sight of them kissing. "Ewwww gross"

Twilight smiled and kissed Sunset back. "Is not; her kisses are sweet and make me strong!"

"Pppppbbbbt" Pumpkin blew a raspberry at them as typical of a child.

Sunset and Twilight giggled together like mad women as they turned to see and hear Pinkie and Pound charging forward. Seeing Pinkie had Pony'ed up and even put Pound in his favorite Dragon Knight costume only made them smile wider as they couldn't ever get enough of seeing little Pound Cake act all tough and strong especially since for such a little boy he was surprisingly but not overtly strong.

"Here they come! Don't let them get to the High Princess my little P.O.N.Y's!" Sunset proclaimed as she stood next to Twilight.

"Protect the Princess!" Twilight shouted to help rouse up the army of little girls.

"P.O.N.Y. POWER!!" The girls shouted with glee as they saw Pinkie approaching with Pound on her back. The one little girl dressed in what looked like a Japanese style kung-fu fighting kimono/gi with yellow hair in pigtails, orange skin and purple eyes stepped up and punched a fist into her palm.

"Let get 'em girls!"

"Right behind ya sis!" The same pink hooded 10 year old from before said.

"You don't think he'll pull my hair do you?" One little girl with blue skin snow white hair and crystal blue eyes said timidly.

"I'd like to see him try! He won't get away with taking Auntie Pinkie!" Said another girl with black and purple hair, purple skin and yellow eyes.

As Pound and Pinkie came closer, Pinkie came to a stop and Pound hopped up on her back and stood up and drew his sword. Raising it to the sky he announced his arrival with a big smile.

"Haha! Have no fear Princess Pumpkin! Because I am here!" He announced proudly like Pinkie always taught him too, a hero always showed up smiling to let people know everything would be okay.

"There he is girls! Don't let him get to the throne!" Twilight said as she kept his precious action figure close.

"Attack my little P.O.N.Y's!" Sunset said waving a hand forward for her little ones to go and 'attack' Pound and Pinkie.

"Let's do it!" Pound said raising his sword to the sky and shouting. "I am the Great and Mighty Knight Poundious! Hear me Roar!" The young boy gave a 'mighty' roar as he stood atop Pinkie's back.

"Oooh this calls for a song!" Pinkie said as she reached into her hair and pushed a button on a speaker she had in there and the entire area was filled with a musical tune and it was one Twilight, Sunset, Pumpkin, Pound and anyone who knew Pinkie Pie knew well. She figured it would be a good distraction for the girls since they all loved to dance and sing along to this song.

🎵 C'mon Everybody smile, smile, smile; fill my heart up with sunshine, sunshine!🎵

It was then the bass dropped and the song went from its 'normal' tempo to a remix with dubstep inserted. Pound gave a determined look as did the girls on the other side as the battle for princess Pumpkin was about to begin!

"CHAAAAAAARGE!" Pound shouted and jumped off Pinkie's back and ran towards the girls with toy sword in hand, music playing behind him and a big playful smile on his face. This wouldn't be the first time he'd taken on the girls like this in the store but usually he had his own friends with him.

🎵Cause I love to make you smile, smile, smile yes I do!🎵

🎵It fills my heart with sunshine all the while! Yes it does!🎵

🎵Cause all I really need is a smile, smile, smile; from these happy friends of mine!🎵

"Not so fast dragon! You'll have to get by the mighty Yoshi first!" Said the girl with the yellow hair in pigtails from earlier. Yoshi was the name of the character she was dressed up ass or resembled rather, the actual character was much older with bigger boobs and longer hair. Yoshi Kirin was the characters full name and she was the brawler of the four main characters and the oldest.

"Yeah and if you mess with Yoshi? You mess with her sister Penny!" Said the girl with the pink hair and big hammer. It was funny since she was the older of the two real sisters here but in the show Penny Pony is the name of the main character which made it funny because the name of the show and their fighting team was called P.O.N.Y.

"Can't we just be friends?" The girl with white hair and blue skin spoke up.

"Not until you gimme back my dragon knight toy and the princess!" Dragon Knight Poundious would not be deterred.

"Don't worry Opphi; Ninja Kat Nix will protect you!" said the one girl with purple and black hair as she stood in front of the more timid white eyed girl to protect her. Nix shade was the more edgy member of the team who usually dressed in all black and purple and has a ninja cat like theme to her.

"T-Thanks Nixxy; he sounds scary but if you are here I can protect the princess too! You won't get past Ophelia Winters!" She said hiding no long as she stood shoulder to shoulder with her friend and held her hand which made the dark skinned girl blush a light pink on her dark cheeks. Ophelia Winters was the more elegant member of the team that bore a lot of similarities to Rarity which instantly made her Rarity's favorite character.

Pound saw himself surrounded. Girls at every angle, all armed and most of them were bigger than he was. He was able to count to at least 10 now and there was more than that here. However that would not stop him! Running forward he gave a mighty roar and attacked but he was tripped up by a jump rope lassoed around his little leg and he yelped and whipped his head around to see who it was and it shouldn't have come as a surprise to see a glowing red aura around the rope.

"Ah no fair using magic!!" Poundious shouted as he struggled against the rope that was slowly beginning to tie him up.

"Heheh who ever said I was gonna play fair? But since you want fairness? I think someone needs a tickling just like I did the princess!" Sunset said as she smirked deviously using her magic to slowly drag him over as the other girls cheered for him to get tickled. The only way this would be worse is if Pinkie was the one doing the tickling because lord help the poor soul who got tickled by Pinkie and lived to tell about it.

"Gyah! P-Pinkie!? Help!!!" Pound called out.

"Tickle time, Tickle time, Tickle time, Tickle time!" The girls all chanted in unison as he was dragged over no matter how hard he tried to resist. Ironically Pinkie's song was still playing while Pinkie chanted in the background. He'd been double crossed! He should have known to never trust a pony!

🎵It's true some days are dark and lonely🎵

🎵And maybe you feel sad but Pinkie will be there to show you that it isn't that bad🎵

🎵There's one thing that makes me happy and makes my whole life worth while!🎵

🎵And that's when I get with my friends and begin to smile! SMILE!!!!🎵

"Unhand him fiend!" A valiant voice called from beyond. The song had cut short.

"Who goes there?!" Sunset called looking around.

"Look over there! In that conveniently darkened out part of the store!" Pinkie pointed out with a gasp.

Everyone would look to see three shadowy figures beginning to come forward. One tall, one slightly shorter, one as the shortest.

"We are justice!" Another voice called as a blur sped through and picked up pound and untied him.

"We are the knights!" Another voice, deeper and more serious booming like thunder!

"WE ARE THE-"

"Hi Shiny." Twilight smirked as she saw her brother and a few friends showed up to help Pound out.

"Twily c'mon did ya have to ruin our entrance?!" Shining Armor groaned as he came more into view from the back of the store. Those friends being Thunderlane and his little brother Rumble.

"Guys! What are you doing here?" Pound asked happily as he was lifted up onto Shining Armors shoulders.

"Was in the store picking up a couple things for Flurry's birthday last minute...oh don't gimme that look Twily you know I've been on deployment the last two months." Shining instantly retorted when he saw the glare his little sister was shooting him. He nearly missed Flurry's second birthday because he was deployed and got back almost too late to get her a good present and Twilight had not forgotten or entirely let it go yet.

"Yeah we got back a little earlier than expected this time though so it's all good! Sup Sunset" Thunderlane said to Sunset Shimmer with a smile.

"Hey Thunder. Heya Rumble." Sunset said to the younger of the two, he looked to be about 15 now.

"Sup" Rumble said with smirk as he stood next to his brother. "So you girls think you're cute pickin' on our little homie huh?"

"Cute?" Sunset, Twilight and all the girls looked at each other and then back to the boys and said. "Boys? we're ADORABLE!" They all said in the sassiest but cutest manner possible.

"Oh and by the way?" Twilight said with a devious smirk as she'd been working her magic grip this entire time, gathering up various toy armaments and positioning them around the boys in such a manner that they couldn't escape. Adjusting her glasses in anime fashion a glint would shine off them as she said. "Omaiwa mo Shinderu"

"Nani?!" Thunderlane exclaimed in surprise and then looked around and his eyes shrunk to the size of pinpricks. "Ah crap."

Around the boys they were surrounded by pink and purple dart guns and rubber balls. Twilight grinning like a mad woman as the girls all stuck out their tongues at them and blew a unified raspberry and said.

"P.O.N.Y.'s RULE!" Twilight fired and a hail of pink heart shaped bullets would rain down upon the boys.

"Shield's up!" Thunderlane said with a booming voice and grabbed two large shields off his back that were replicas of the ones that a character had on the show. He was here with his brother today to get props for a cosplay they were doing and the bigger boys section had just what he needed!

The darts hit the shield sticking to it since they were suction darts and then he heard a gang a little girls running towards him at full speed. He chuckled and braced himself as he knew they were certainly about to dogpile him as little kids tended to do to him. Thunderlane was a lovable big lug of a guy and was like a big brother to some kids like Rainbow was a big sister.

"You're up little bro! Go, go, go!" Thunderlane said with a big grin as he blocked the first wave. He was strong but these girls had numbers on their side.

"You got it bro! Heeeey girls! Over here!" Rumble waved to get their attention.

The girls would look in rumbles direction and he grinned at them and pointed a comically large bazooka like toy that had the barrel shaped like a dragon head. Sunset and Twilight gaped at this, Pound's face lit up with glee, the girls all looked somewhat terrified and all Rumble could respond with was a big hearty.

"BOOYAH!" He shouted as he pulled the trigger and the mouth of the cannon would open and it would let out a big rumbling dragon roar. This was a weapon used in the cartoon and in the show when this happened a large energy blast came out. As the lights and sounds went off the more immature girls who didn't know what the toy did cowered in fear but the ones that were at least 10 knew better...well except for Ophelia, she got pretty scared.

"Eeeeeeeek! Dragon!" She tried to run but was stopped by Nix and given a hug. She might not have been able to see it but she could hear it and it sounded really scary and mad! She wasn't as brave as the actual character from the show, after all the character on the show wasn't blind.

"It's okay it's not real. It's just a mean ole boy using a big scary sounding toy." Nix said with a pouty huff and pointed at Rumble. "I'll get you for that!"

He did it again and it scared the little blind girl and Nix growled and ran after him and so did a bunch of the other girls as Rumble laughed and ran about distracting them all and Pinkie Pie joined them. That gave way for Shining to get Pound to Pumpkin and Sunset. Smiling Shining looked at his little sister.

"I do believe that toy you got there belongs to my little buddy here Twily" Shining stated matter a fact like.

"Ooooh you mean this little guy? Come get it!" Twilight dangled the toy in her magical grip smiling deviously.

"Yeah! And my sister too!" Pound exclaimed trying to sound as big and tough as he could.

"Heh oh you mean this little sweetie slice of pumpkin cake here? You want her? You'll have to take her!" Sunset said standing next to Pumpkin who was currently enjoying a lollipop Sunset went off and bought her during all the chaos and commotion for being such a good girl.

"Hiiii Mr.Shiny! Mr. Lane! Hi Rumble!!!" She said to each of the men plus teenager who had come along with a sweet smile as she popped the lollipop from her mouth. She giggled as the other girls chased Rumble about as he laughed and kept having the toy he had make noise.

"Hey there Pumpkin; been a good girl I hope?" Shining smiled coyly at the little girl. He too knew how much of a little sassy troublemaker the 5 year old could be but she was too adorable to stay mad at.

Pumpkin smiled and nodded. "Mmhm!"

"Hm that right? Then why would you sell out your twin brother like that huh?" Shining smirked as he looked at her expression shift.

"But auntie sunny said I could get a new toy if I-"

"Aw what? No fair!" Pound pouted.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk shame on you Sunset. Bribing a child? And here I thought you'd changed" Shining Armor taunted.

Sunset smiled all the while and gave a flip of her hair. "All's fair in love and war. I was gonna buy Pound something too. I'm not mean." Sunset chuckled and saw Pound's face light up with excitement hearing he too would be allowed an extra toy today.

"Heheh alright, alright. I think that's enough fun and games. We still have errands of our own to actually run here Twi." Sunset said finally relenting as she did have a point. They were initially here to pick up toys for Flurry but Sunset didn't mind spending the extra money on Pound and Pumpkin. Among all the Rainbooms she, Rarity & Pinkie spoiled the cake twins the most.

Twilight relented as well dropping her magic power to revert fully back to her normal form with her normal skin tone. After that she floated Pound back his action figure and Sunset used her magic to lift Pumpkin up off the throne in which she sat and she put her on her back. Looking around she saw that Pinkie and the girls had finally captured Rumble and had him pinned down with some of the girls bopping him with fake toys and Pinkie cheering them on.

"Get him girls! Show that mean ole dragon whose boss! P.O.N.Y POWER FOREVER!!!" Pinkie shouted with a gleeful happy smile still plastered on her face as she remained in her pony'ed up magical girl form playing with the kids.

"Hey Pinks! Playtime's over for now. We gotta all finish our errands." Sunset said to Pinkie from behind as she held Pinkie up.

"Awwww and we were just about stuff him in the party cannon. Ah well maybe next time." Pinkie said with a smile as she turned to the girls and smiled apologetically as she reverted back to normal herself. "Sorry girls, we have to stop the fun now. Auntie Pinkie has to do some shopping."

"Awwwwww" the girls said with frowns of disappointment and dejection. They didn't want the fun to be over yet, with school starting back up soon they only had a little summer left and they wanted to spend more time with Pinkie.

Sunset, Twilight, Shining and Pinkie saw this and felt their hearts melt. None of them liked seeing a frown on a child's face if they could help it. But then Shining got an idea, stepping up past Sunset and Pinkie with Pound on his shoulders he announced himself.

"Fear not my little Princess' I your knight shining armor hereby decree that after the shopping is done, if your mommy's and daddy's say yes? Ice cream for everyone! How's that sound?" Shining said with a smile as he heard a round of cheers and yes' from the crowd of kids.

"What do you say girls?" Pinkie said with a smile.

"Thank you Mr. Armor!" All the girls said with a cute curtsy bow that a princess would typically give.

Shining blushed and smiled a bit with a boyish chuckle. "No problem. Now run along and find your parents." Shining said ushering them off to go and find their parents. This toy store section they were in was basically like a closed off play center for the kids where they could come and play around while their parents shopped which was one of the ways Twilight and her friends usually got away with all their antics in such a public space but then again the owner of the store was a fun loving guy anyway.

"Heh dude your wife is gonna kill you." Thunderlane chuckled knowing Shining would probably get an earful from Cadence about this.

"Ah don't sweat it she'll understand once I say I did it to make a group of sad little girls happy. Besides I make more than enough in my new position anyway so I can afford a little extra spending." Shining Armor said with a confident smirk.

"Congrats on landing that captains position by the way Shining. It must've been really hard." Sunset said with a smile congratulating Shining Armor on his recent achievement in becoming captain of the Canterlot City police.

"Thanks Sunset, it was hard but worth the effort. Flash has been coming alone real well in his training at the academy. He really does live up to his name, the boy is fast. Not as fast as Rainbow but out of all the guy's I've trained? No doubt the fastest. He's got a lot of potential." Shining said proudly speaking of his trainee.

"Well if he was going to truly blossom under anyone it was going to be you. Flash has always been a great guy and I'm happy he's doing so well. Him and Moon Dancer are so cute together. I'm glad my hunch was right about her liking him." Sunset giggled as she thought back to when she'd introduced Moon Dancer to her friends and she saw how she looked at Flash the first time she saw him. Her expressions were similar to Twilight and she could tell intrigued was the first expression on her face when she saw Flash Sentry.

"Me too, he works hard to make her happy and I couldn't have asked for a better recruit. To be honest he's probably gonna end up graduating early so who knows? You may see Flash out there with a badge and a gun in the next few months." Shining said with his usual charm and then looked to Twilight. "So you here to get a present for Flurry to huh?"

"Yep." Twilight said.

"P.O.N.Y. plushie?" Shining asked with a smirk.

"Of course, what else am I gonna get her? A book?" Twilight smiled coyly.

"Glad you've finally learned your lesson little sister." Shining laughed as he turned to head out of the play area with Pinkie and the rest behind him.

"Hmph well excuse me for wanting people to read more!" Twilight huffed with a cute little pout. She then felt a kiss upon her cheek and blushed pink when she turned to see Sunset smiling at her.

"You are such a nerd." Sunset giggled and kissed her cheek again.

"Heheeh I know. And you love me for it." Twilight stuck out her tongue at Sunset.

As they left the play area everyone shared a smile and laugh. As the moments passed a store employee came by and saw the play area was a complete mess and he sighed and shrugged saying.
