Beyond the Grid: Into Equestria
Information on the Coins and the Stranger From Another Dimension
It was all a blur how he had gotten there... his fellow Rangers sending him away in a pod... him watching as they were cut apart and slaughtered right before his very eyes... his mother watching him leave with tears in her eyes as she whispered one thing: "Please find help, JJ. We need you. More than you'll ever know..."
The tears in his own eyes were all too real as he watched everything he knew fade away, the colors of the multiverse swallowing him up as he flew through the infinite realm of colors, his destination unknown...
His pod crashed into the ground as he smacked his head, hanging on as he felt the pod slide to a stop... he slowly got out, looking around at the strange new world... one thought going through his head at that moment: 'Where am I...?'
A girl with red and yellow hair that looked like it was aflame sat bolt upright in her bed, hyperventilating slightly with her pale skin dripping with sweat. Her cyan eyes darted around quickly as she saw her bedroom again before she relaxed and facepalmed, muttering to herself, "Oh man... those dreams are getting more and more vivid by the day..." She wiped the sweat off her face and frowned, muttering more, "I wonder if Pinkie sensed anything..." She knew her pink colored friend had been having major shudders, meaning a doozy was coming, but she wasn't sure what the doozy would be.
She snatched up her phone and dialed a number, putting the phone to her ear and whispering softly as she listened to the ringtone, "Come on, Pinkie, pick up..."
The ever so chipper voice of her pink-clad friend suddenly picked up. "Hello?"
Sunset sighed in relief as she spoke, "Pinkie, it's Sunset. Listen, I gotta ask you an important question. Has your Pinkie Sense picked up on anyone entering our world?"
"Uh... my left eye blinked. That means there's a new boy in town. But no girls, and I've been shuddering and shaking like crazy still, so the new guy isn't the doozy." Pinkie explained to Sunset as a little shivering was heard.
Sunset sighed softly, nodding a little. "Okay, thanks. I just ask because... my latest dream was showing that weird boy again... and he has some family in another world..."
"Yeah, I was wondering what else my Pinkie Sense was picking up. Ooh, ooh! Do you think there will be others coming?" Pinkie asked in excitement.
Sunset bit her lip, thinking about her vision as Drakkon's words echoed in her mind:
"They could have been gods..."
She shuddered slightly herself before responding to Pinkie, "As long as they're good guys, I won't complain."
Pinkie was quiet for a moment before she spoke again: "Hmm... okey dokey lokie! Now I'd better get to sleep before I start shuddering again. Did you know I actually shudder in my sleep sometimes when I have a massive doozy? True story."
"You don't say," Sunset smirked lightly, knowing that her best friend was speaking the truth. Sunset herself had seen Pinkie twitch in her sleep when her Pinkie Sense went off. "Well, sleep tight, Pinkie."
"Will do! Night, Sunset!" Pinkie hung up afterwards.
Sunset hung up and sighed in thought, looking at the ceiling. 'I wonder if Princess Twilight and the group found anything in Equestria...?'

Meanwhile across dimensions, in the pony-filled world of Equestria, the young lavender alicorn was looking through every book, every scroll, everything to find what she could on everything that was going on. She tossed books around, muttering to herself, "No... no... nope... no... no..." She tossed one more book aside and groaned, "UGH!! There is NOTHING in here!! Nothing about wars or multi-colored heroes or anything!" She face-planted into a pile of scrolls and snorted angrily.
The lavender unicorn who was Twilight's protege, Starlight, levitated some books in her aura, seeing a scroll that piqued her interest as she opened it and started reading an entry from it: 'Through my studies of ancient pony magic, none were more interesting than the creations known as the Power Coins.' She blinked and looked at Twilight, curiously asking, "What are Power Coins?"
Twilight perked up and zipped over, exclaiming quickly, "Power Coins?! You found something on them?!"
Starlight nodded and showed Twilight the scroll, which was entitled The Legend of the Power Coins by Moondancer.
Twilight gasped and zoomed to her desk, writing a quick message before teleporting it away, muttering lightly, "I can't believe I forgot about Moondancer's dissertation! She sent me a copy a long time ago, but I never thought it might be relevant until now!" She grinned happily, a toy squeak coming from her for some odd reason before she looked at Starlight. "Keep reading, Starlight! What else does it say?"
Starlight looked over and kept reading the dissertation:
'Using the powers of the Elements of Harmony, the Coins were created by a being known as Zordon, their original intent to be used for good and justice in the multiverse. Through my research of these Power Coins, there is a theory I have read on that Starswirl himself proposed many moons ago. If two Power Coins are joined together forcefully, the unstable energy from the combination could cause a more unified power, but as a result, would also minimize a person's lifespan substantially, no matter if broken or not. The union of two Coins would also cause a disharmonious upset in the balance of harmony in the Coins, creating darker energy that would grant the user stronger powers than one individual Coin. If fused correctly, they can forge a union with equal power to the Elements of Harmony combined.'
Spike had flown in as Starlight was reading the dissertation, frowning as he set a tray of tea down for the group and he asked, "So basically like Sunset using the amulet for good on one hoof and Sci-Twi using it for the wrong reasons on the other hoof?"
Starlight nodded as she replied, "Bingo." She rolled up the scroll and looked at the others. "Maybe this guy in white Sunset's been seeing in her dreams has a Coin that united all the previous Coins in the right way and Drakkon or whoever he is has managed the fusion in a darker way."
Twilight nodded and wrote down the information, frowning silently as she looked at Starlight, asking a question, "Did Sunburst come up with anything else that was useful?"
Starlight looked over and nodded, opening a scroll with her magic and reading the letter therein:
"Dear Starlight and Twilight,
I have gotten in contact with Starswirl and learned more about his theory. To put it simply, the alchemy and the math behind it all would take a thousand moons to understand, but it's simple in its own right. If one had interrupted the transfer of powers through to another, the power would transfer to them instead, causing the fusion to happen improperly and cause disharmony in both powers. I think there might be a defusion spell for this, but the power needed for the process would be immeasurable, most likely needing the powers of all the alicorns and those with enough power to stand by their side to break the powers into two once more. But I don't know the spell needed for it. That's the only problem. Let me know if you find something to help.

Starlight looked at Twilight and frowned, a single question coming out of her mouth: "Do you think there might be something here?"
Spike looked at all the myriad of books and looked at the girls, speaking calmly: "Only time will tell."

The next morning at Canterlot High, Sunset met up with the rest of the Humane Seven and spoke first: "Anything on the news this morning?"
Sci-Twi nodded and pulled up a news report as she answered Sunset's question, "Someone found a crashed pod near the baseball field. No one seemed to be inside it, but it was clear that someone or something was there."
"I still say it's someone because my eye blinked," Pinkie responded, shivering and shaking slightly before stopping.
"I know I had a hard time getting the animals back to sleep last night after that crash. Oh, the poor little creatures were so frightened," Fluttershy said out of concern.
"Yep. Apple Bloom and I had to rustle up the critters at the farm too," Applejack agreed. "That crash was so loud it sounded like a backfiring tractor engine."
Rainbow scoffed lightly. "You girls think you all heard something weird? I practically saw something in the sky last night when I was stargazing. Rainbow colored blur, heading at about Mach 7 through the air. It had to be that pod."
"Perhaps," Rarity agreed, "but who could have been inside the pod? For all we know, it could have been an alien or an Equestrian from another dimension."
Suddenly, a male voice spoke up behind the group: "Hey, sorry if I'm interrupting something, but I need some help."
The girls looked around to see a handsome young man looking at them with a smile. His shaggy brown hair fell into his face perfectly, his blue eyes sparkled like aquamarines, and his fashion sense was impeccable as well; he wore a black leather jacket, a tye dye shirt in a basic white with multiple colors spread out in a bunch of large dots, blue jeans that were slightly worn out at the knees, white socks that ducked under his jeans slightly, and red tennis shoes that looked shined to perfection.
"Oh my..." Rarity blushed at the sight of him.
"Whoa..." Rainbow was wide-eyed in surprise.
"Oh my goodness," Fluttershy put a hand to her mouth, her cheeks a light red.
Sunset looked at the boy and spoke to him, "Uh, yeah. No problem." She offered him a kind smile.
"Thanks," he grinned back, extending a hand to her. "I'm JJ Oliver."
She took his hand and shook it, replying: "I'm Sunset Shimmer." Suddenly, her magic kicked in, causing her eyes to turn white as she looked into his past.
He was looking at a bloodied battleground, tears flowing down his face, his heart breaking at the sight of his family and friends dead, but his resolve was absolute. He had to find help.
He closed the door to the pod and piloted it away from the dimension, crash landing in Sunset's world. "Where am I...?"
Sunset reflexively pulled her hand back as her eyes returned to normal and she shook her head to rid her mind of the awful images.
"Whoa, you okay?" JJ asked her out of concern.
Sunset blinked slightly and looked at the others meaningfully, replying to JJ. "I'm... fine." All the while, her mind was racing, but managed to form a tangible thought:
'Is JJ the one who's fighting for good? As that... white and multicolored figure?'
Author's Note
I don't know much Old Ponish, so that's why I put the dissertation pieces in English. But it is a fascinating language that I hope the show expands on before ending. But if not, oh well. That's what we've got Fimfiction for. Read and review, guys!

Dangerous Arrival and JJ's Power
The Humane Seven had regrouped at lunchtime and they all sat down at their table to discuss what Sunset had seen, Spike poking his furry head out of Sci-Twi's backpack and speaking first, "What happened to you back there, Sunset?"
Sunset held her head as she replied, "The moment I touched JJ, I... I saw exactly what he had seen and what I've been seeing in my visions. So many people dismembered and stabbed or shot..." She shuddered and groaned. "It was awful."
Pinkie shuddered more. "I'm still getting the shudders. Whatever's going on, my Pinkie Sense says it still hasn't happened yet."
Rainbow groaned in exasperation. "Whatever is going on, we can handle it!"
Fluttershy nodded in agreement. "We've fought multiple things including two demon friends." Her eyes widened slightly before she looked at Sci-Twi and Sunset. "No offense, of course."
"None taken," Sunset replied with a smile as Sci-Twi nodded in agreement.
Applejack munched on an apple as she looked at the girls, speaking through a bit of juice in her mouth, "Ah reckon we should keep an eye on that JJ feller. Ah trust him enough, but he's hiding some things." She swallowed the bite of the apple and kept speaking, "Like what's his past like? Who's his family? What powers does he have?"
Pinkie stopped shaking for a brief moment as she gave her input, "Ooh! Ooh! Maybe he's some kind of superhero that draws his power from some mythical coins and changes into a rainbow hero who is fighting an alternate version of his father and he's probably here to get as much help as he can!" She took a loud gasp of breath before letting out a squeaky toy sound from out of nowhere.
The other seven had their jaws dropped in shock as Sci-Twi spoke first, "How'd you guess?"
"Just a hunch," Pinkie shrugged it off as she smiled cutely, then she lost her smile as she started shaking again.
Rarity frowned as she pressed on to Pinkie's observation, "Hmm, while that does seem likely, we'd have to be careful if he IS a superhero. We don't want to get hurt, after all."
Spike wasn't listening as he looked at the boy in question, JJ having had been sitting at a table near them and chatting with some of the guys while eavesdropping on their conversation, so he wriggled out of the bag and landed, walking over to JJ and tugging on his jean leg, growling slightly.
JJ looked down to see a cute purple and green beagle puppy pulling at him before he picked him up, tilting his head curiously. "A purple and green dog? Well, not the weirdest thing I've ever seen." He set Spike on his lap.
Spike made a confused face as he spoke, "What're you talking about?"
"And apparently he talks too. Okay, probably gonna have to get used to this," JJ muttered to himself before he looked at Spike and talked to him, "Okay, so I guess this is gonna sound weird, but I'm not from this dimension."
Spike scoffed lightly. "Yeah, I mean Pinkie Pie already guessed it. She's not exactly normal." He chuckled lightly before continuing, "Don't even try to figure her out. Sunset and Sci-Twi did, and they literally self-combusted."
JJ snickered and smiled at him as he responded, "Duly noted."
Suddenly, an explosion rocked the school as Spike and JJ were startled, the puppy recovering first with a question: "What in Tartarus was that?!"
JJ looked out the window and immediately wished he hadn't, paling as he answered the young dog, "Something big."
Outside, terrorizing the young students, a group of soldiers stormed out, looking similar to the Red, Blue, and Yellow Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers walked out of a ship and marched in unison, looking similar to an army.
The Humane Seven, plus Spike and JJ, ran outside and saw the massive army, Rainbow letting out a "Whoa" of surprise.
The army surrounded everyone and readied their weapons, cocking them in unison.
Sunset looked around, paling slightly as she said, "It's like being surrounded by Changelings!"
JJ looked at her, asking, "Say what now?!"
"Uh, explain it later! They've got guns aiming at the nine of us!" Pinkie shouted in alarm.
The group looked over and saw that Pinkie was right; the guns were aimed at them!
Sunset noticed a guard walking towards them and instinctively got in front of JJ, whispering to him, "Just play it cool."
He looked up at Sunset in shock; never had a girl been so brave and willing to protect him, not even in the teams he had been helping before this. He couldn't help but blush slightly as he watched her face down the guard that approached her and the girls.
"We're looking for the escaped rebel who crash-landed in this world last night," the soldier explained to her.
Sunset frowned and replied, "We haven't seen anyone like that. That event last night was just a weirdly colored shooting star."
JJ used the distraction Sunset had provided to sneak away into the crowd of kids who had gathered around the others and run to the back of the school, ducking around a corner and looking at his Morpher with a heavy sigh and a mutter, "I really didn't want to do this... but I have no choice. It's Morphin' Time!" A bright light enveloped him as he morphed.
Meanwhile, the soldier nodded once, seeming suspicious as he continued, "Was there anything else that happened last night after the... shooting star?"
She shook her head in response, determined not to show any fear. "None at all. I don't know why you even bother to ask."
He looked at his men, commanding them: "Do a sweep of the area, look for the Oliver kid!"
The army nodded and separated, starting to search the perimeter.
The commander looked at her again, giving her a warning: "If you're hiding him, you'll be held accountable for aiding and abetting a rebel."
Rainbow scoffed lightly and snapped, "Says you! You're not even a cop! You're just a guy in a copycat suit!"
A yellow Sentinel aimed her gun at Rainbow, her voice sounding deadly: "Watch your tone with our commander."
"Whoa!" Rainbow tensed up as she looked cross-eyed at the barrel.
Sunset frowned silently while Pinkie kept shuddering and shaking.
Suddenly, a voice called out from the roof of the school: "Hey, copycats! Looking for me?"
Everyone looked up to see a white version of the Rangers in front of them, his helmet modeled after a chimera, his bodysuit, gloves, and boots were white, his armor and the diamonds on his gloves and boots in different colors, and the symbol on his chest was that of the Mighty Morphin' animals.
Sunset gasped because she recognized the suit from her dreams. The white figure, the multiple colors. It had to be him. "JJ?"
"Would you look at that," Applejack commented. "Ah guess you were right about him, Pink."
The soldiers started firing on their captain's command as JJ jumped down, landing and starting to fight the soldiers bravely, using the various weapons to his advantage as he took one soldier after another down.
Rainbow watched him before she looked at the others. "Come on! We've gotta go help him!"
The Humane Seven nodded and their pendants started glowing brightly, changing the team into their outfits before they took off to help out.
Pinkie Pie jumped around, blasting soldiers left and right with her sweets bombs as Fluttershy and her animal friends helped students to safety with Spike's assistance.
Rainbow Dash sped around and kicked some soldiers to Applejack, who super punched or super kicked them into Rarity's gem cages.
Sci-Twi used her telekinesis to launch various soldiers into other groups of soldiers as Sunset fought alongside JJ, showing some impressive martial artistry herself.
He looked at his flame-haired ally as he asked her, "Been fighting for a while?"
She tossed away a soldier with a grunt and responded, "Ever since I've been here!" She judo flipped another soldier and stomped on his chest.
Eventually, the soldiers were beaten down and the team exhausted from the fight.
Rarity scoffed. "That'll teach those ruffians not to mess with OUR school!!"
Pinkie suddenly jerked around and stopped shuddering. "Ooh!" She looked up and her pony ears folded down in fright. "Uh... guys?"
Everyone regrouped as Sci-Twi asked her, "What's wrong, Pinkie?"
"I think I have a good idea of what might be causing my doozy," she whimpered and pointed upwards, the group following her gaze and gasping as they saw another Ranger come out of the ship, his helmet off to show a man with an older face, long black hair that was turning gray, blackened veins along his face, and eyes that seemed to radiate evil.
JJ backed up slightly, his face paling in fear. "No... no, it can't be... he followed me here... how...?"
The other Humane Six flattened their pony ears as well while Spike let out a frightened whimper.
Even Sunset's eyes were widened as she saw the man in front of her look at her, the normally brave flamette whispering one terrifying word: "Drakkon..."

Okay, things just got interesting here. (giggles evilly) Oh yeah, I'm a genius. I have a few good ideas of who to add into this story, but I ain't giving out more spoilers.
Rarity: (gallops out and glares at me) Indeed, dear. Because the pony who ruins the surprise for somepony else has to live with that guilt... FOREVER!

Beyond the Grid: Into Equestria
The group of heroes stood together worriedly, watching as the intimidating figure stepped down. The vibes of power he gave off were intimidating, to say the least, certainly way more than any other magical threat.
Sunset gulped a little bit as she backed away, talking to JJ. "Uh... JJ? Ideas?"
JJ couldn't move or speak due to being frozen in fear, his mind racing with thoughts: 'How? How did he track me here? It can't have been that easy...'
Applejack noticed something on JJ's back that was blinking a little. "Uh, JJ? Ah think ah found the cause of them findin' ya," she whispered to the Rainbow Ranger, plucking the blinking item off.
He looked at it, paling more as he realized what it was. "Damn, the Ranger Slayer must've stuck it on me before I got out of there," he muttered.
They had no more time to talk as Drakkon stopped in front of them, looking at the multicolored heroes. "So this is where the rebel landed to find assistance? A world full of multi-colored humans? I would have expected better judgment from him. But the lack of judgment does denote the uselessness."
Rainbow stepped forward and spoke up, "Hey! Who are you calling useless, you jerk?!"
He looked at Rainbow and regarded her with an interested expression. "So some of you do have the spirit to fight, intriguing."
Rainbow stood proudly and smirked as she retorted, "Yep! I'd do anything for my friends! Even keep them safe from your rule!"
JJ watched the confrontation with mixed feelings. On the one hand, Rainbow was proving she was indeed the Element of Loyalty if she wanted to stand up to Drakkon like that to defend her allies. On the other hand, it was completely reckless to do so. Who knew what horrid things Drakkon would do to her?
His thoughts were proven correct as Drakkon gave off a wicked laugh and responded to Dash, "Fool! You can't keep them safe forever! Not even a speeding teenage girl like you could escape my wrath!" To prove his point, faster than even Rainbow Dash could run, he pulled his Dragon Dagger out and slashed the cyan skinned girl across her face.
Rainbow screamed in agony as she flew back into the arms of her friends.
"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight was extremely concerned for her friend as she looked at her injury, gasping in horror at what she saw.
The cut had gone straight across Rainbow's entire right eye, the beautiful raspberry orb now marred and gushing with blood that stained the rainbowette's skin with a crimson red.
The other girls gasped at their friend being so hurt, with Fluttershy being the most worried. "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness," she kept muttering to herself as she zipped over and helped Twilight keep her steady.
Applejack growled out of anger and faced Drakkon next, her voice coming out as a growl: "Okay, pardner. It's one thing to call us useless, but it's another entirely to mess with mah friends!!!" She lifted a massive boulder and launched it at him.
Drakkon only gave off a low scoff as he knocked the boulder back at Applejack as fast as lightning.
AJ yelped and braced herself for impact, but Rarity got in front of her and used a shield to stop the boulder, grunting in pain as the pressure went up through her arms from the boulder's impact.
"Rarity!" AJ caught the white-skinned girl as she collapsed into the farmer's arms.
Rarity groaned a little and muttered, "Not the best idea I had, but better than seeing your brains splattered all over the pavement, Applejack."
The apple farmer just chuckled lightly and replied, "Yeah, that's true."
Twilight started to panic slightly. Her friends were getting themselves injured for JJ's sake, but there was only so much they could take!
Thankfully, Sunset had a somewhat clearer mind as she patched Rainbow up with some fabric she had gotten from Bonbon as she spoke to the others, "We gotta get outta here! We need help!"
JJ watched as Pinkie took her turn with attacking Drakkon, the usually bubbly girl seeming more serious than before as he responded to Sunset, "I know what we have to do! There are other dimensions besides this one! If we split up and go to a different dimension each, we might be able to get a few allies!"
Rainbow sat up in alarm. "But we can't leave the school undefended! There are still others that need help!!" She pointed out the various students and faculty helping everyone to safety.
Pinkie yelped as she was blasted back, some of her bright pink skin blistered from a blast as she shook off the daze and looked at Rainbow, "Yeah, but they won't be able to defend themselves for long! We need to get help!"
Fluttershy whimpered nervously, getting completely terrified. What were they gonna do? They didn't have anything to help them escape!
Fortunately, Spike ran over to her with something in his mouth as he shouted in a muffled voice, "Fluttershy! Here!" He dropped the item into her hands.
She looked it over and gasped in surprise, recognizing it as a dimensional portal creator. "Spike, that's just what we need!" She exclaimed brightly. She stood up and opened a few portals to various worlds before looking at the group and letting out a loud whistle to get their attention.
Pinkie spotted the portals first and grabbed Fluttershy's arm as she got close. "Let's book it!" She sped over to the first portal and leaped through it, Fluttershy letting out a yelp of surprise as she was pulled through.
"Right behind you!" Spike called out as he followed the girls through the portal.
Applejack helped Rarity through the second portal and carried Rainbow Dash through as she followed while Sunset, Twilight, and JJ went through the third portal.
"Don't let them get away!" Drakkon shouted angrily, pointing towards the portals.
Several troops went through each of the portals just before it closed completely, leaving everyone else to wonder, where could they have gone?

Oof, been a while since I updated this silly thing, but better late than never. Now the next chapter is where it starts getting interesting because I have a few surprises planned out for it.

The first trio of Sci-Twi, Sunset, and JJ landed in Equestria, sliding hard against the ground in the castle.
Sunset got up and shook her head slightly, seeing a familiar lavender unicorn galloping over to them. "Starlight!"
Starlight beamed happily and responded, "Sunset!" The two ponies hugged each other happily.
Suddenly a shout got their attention as they looked at Sci-Twi who was freaking out about her new form.
"This is... all my things are now HORSE THINGS!!!" She exclaimed in a fright.
Sunset placed a hoof on her shoulder and explained, "Around here, we call them 'pony things'."
Starlight looked at JJ curiously, tilting her head in confusion. "Uh... is this the new guy you girls told me about?" She asked, looking at the two mares.
JJ got up and shook his head to clear it, rubbing his forehead with his hoof - Wait, hoof? He looked at his body and saw that he had become a handsome young stallion, his short scruffy tail the same color as his brown mane, his fur white as snow, his wings multicolored in the original Mighty Morphin' team colors, and the symbol of his power coin as his cutie mark. All he could say to his current condition was, "Well, this is different."
Sunset giggled at his cute remark, a slight red blush on her face as she trotted over to him. "Yep, this is JJ Oliver. He's the Rainbow Ranger I told you and Princess Twilight about," she explained to Starlight.
JJ made a confused expression as he looked at Sci-Twi and pondered, "Your counterpart is a pony princess?"
Sci-Twi went to him and nodded. "Yep. I guess she has wings like you, cause I sure don't," she theorized, pointing to her back which was wingless.
Starlight looked at the trio and cleared her throat to get their attention. "Well, Princess Twilight has already called the rest of the girls to assemble in the main room along with Sunburst, Starswirl, Shining Armor, and the other Princesses," she mentioned.
Sci-Twi perked up. "Shining Armor is in this realm too?" She smiled brightly.
Starlight nodded to her with a soft smile of her own. "Yeah, and he's a father in this world to another alicorn Princess," she informed her.
Sunset quickly gathered her bag. "No time for pleasantries, everypony. We got work to get to," she reminded them before galloping off to the main room, the other three following behind with JJ flying above the unicorns, albeit with a little difficulty at first.
"Whoa, whoa whoa!" He wobbled in midair and dropped down for a moment before righting himself, groaning slightly as he shouted, "How do ponies FLY with these things?!"
Sunset rolled her eyes and muttered to herself, "Oh sweet Celestia, I hope we get the right help..."
Arriving in the throne room a few moments later, JJ noticed the same six girls sitting in their respective thrones, only they were ponies like Starlight. He also saw three stallions dressed in what looked like wizards clothing and a set of armor respectively, and three alicorn mares all donning their respective defining crowns and accessories.
He landed unsteadily by them and bowed respectfully, talking in an equally respectful manner: "Princesses, I apologize for the trouble I have brought to everyone."
Celestia laid a hoof on his shoulder and responded, "No apologies necessary, JJ. We know you are doing your best to stop Drakkon."
Luna stepped forward and draped her wing over him, adding on to her elder sister's statement, "That's why when I visited Starlight, Twilight, and Spike that night our shared dream happened, we all agreed to work together and come up with a contingency plan."
Shining Armor started explaining the plan, "Starswirl and I have upgraded the armors of all the guards to be more flexible and sturdy to keep everypony safe when fighting these soldiers so these bullets won't hurt them."
Cadence continued on, "We've also done magical and flight attack and defense sequences multiple times to make sure the guards have them ready for anything. If this Drakkon dares to attack Equestria, he'll be met with the full force of every creature against him."
Princess Twilight jumped down from her throne and went to JJ. "What Cadence means by that is the fact that we've also contacted all the other tribes around Equestria, and they're all ready to help. The dragons, hippogriffs, griffons, Changelings, Yaks - "
JJ held up a hoof to stop her. "Wait a second. Yaks? Seriously?"
"Yeah!" Pinkie Pie bounced over to him and explained, "Yaks are really good at destroying things, and they'll wipe out those nasty old invaders in an instant!" She grinned with a squeaky toy sound.
He shrugged and replied, "Fair enough. I just didn't realize they were a sentient species here."
Starburst adjusted his glasses. "Oh, there's more sentient species than just them."
A chuckle sounded off as a Draconeques appeared in a flash of white light above Twilight on a pink cloud. "He's not wrong. Even creatures of chaos exist."
JJ yelped in surprise as he saw the Draconeques, flapping his wings to stay afloat. "JEEZ! With how jumpy I am already, you think you could tone down the surprises a bit?!"
Twilight moved her bangs to see through the chocolate milk that was falling on her like rain as she looked at JJ. "Sorry about that. Discord is one of our allies and as he said, the spirit of Chaos."
Discord snapped his fingers and made the rain and the cloud disappear for Twilight, allowing her to dry herself off as he smiled at JJ. "It certainly is a pleasure to meet you, dear boy." He held out a paw to shake.
JJ made a suspicious face before he put his hoof in the Draconeques' paw and accidentally popped it off at the wrist. "AAAHH!!!" He fell to the ground in shock as the Chaos Spirit chuckled at his joke.
"Discord!" Both boys looked down to see Fluttershy glaring at Discord with a disapproving glare and snapping at him, "That's no way to treat a new pony to Equestria!"
He had the sense to look sheepish as he answered her, "Uh, uh... yes, ma'am." He turned into a mini version of himself and hid in JJ's mane, whispering in his ear: "Whatever you do, don't make Fluttershy angry! "
JJ made a face as he nodded and replied, "Duly noted."
Right then, a shout from above got everyone's attention: "Find that little twerp and his girlfriends, no matter what it takes!"
He would have blushed if not for the severity of the situation as his eyes dilated in fright. They had found them!
Princess Twilight took action, starting to command the group in the room: "Okay, we gotta make sure they're out of the castle so they don't destroy anything in here." She looked at Rainbow Dash and JJ. "Rainbow, JJ, we need you to distract them and lead them outside. Think you can do that?"
Rainbow flew up quickly. "You got it, boss!" She grabbed JJ's tail and took off in a rainbow blur, pulling the surprised stallion with her as Discord returned to his normal size and looked at Twilight with a question: "What do you need from me, Princess?"
The young alicorn looked at him and responded, "Get the alarms rolling outside. We're gonna need all the help we can get against this army just in case the guards aren't enough."
He saluted to her and teleported outside quickly as the lavender alicorn turned her attention to the stallions near Starlight and gave them their orders: "Starlight, Sunburst, Starswirl. I need you three to get to Zecora's hut and start working on the potion to separate the Power Coins Drakkon possesses. Only with the right spell should it completely work."
Sunset went to her and spoke up, "Princess Twilight, you know just as well as I do that there's no unicorn magic in the human world. There's no way you'd be able to cast a spell."
The Princess nodded and replied, "True, but I do know of one way to still use magic in the human world." She levitated a book to herself as she was continuing on, "I found an old spell a while ago called Imbuere Magicae and I figured if the Princesses and I could get this done in enough time, we should be able to ensure that we have some kind of magical usage around Canterlot High besides the geodes."
Suddenly Sci-Twi dashed over to them in fright as she shouted: "Worry about that later! We got company!"
Princess Twilight galloped outside to the hall and saw that Rainbow Dash and JJ were flying like lightning, avoiding shots from the soldiers. "Okay, we'll have to improvise on the fly," she muttered to herself before doing a mass teleportation to the outside, near a valley where the rest of the townsponies and the other creatures were ready for action, the alicorns landing in front bravely.
JJ looked around below him as he saw the various creatures. "Whoa, I never expected this many creatures," he said to Rainbow Dash.
The cyan Pegasus just chuckled and responded, "Welcome to Equestria, home of friendship, protection, and those who help guard it, like my Wonderbolt teammates!" As she said the last words, a bunch of Pegasi flew over, each differently colored but all of them wearing the same blue and yellow uniforms.
Spitfire, leader of the group, nodded to JJ and spoke up, "I believe it should be you standing by the Princesses, kid. We're all behind you." The rest of the Wonderbolts nodded in agreement.
He couldn't help but smile and nod as he pulled out his Morpher. "Alright then. It's Morphin' Time!" He changed in a bright flash into his Ranger suit, now modified to fit his pony body before he flew down and landed in between Twilight and Celestia, glaring at the soldiers.
The commander of the army stepped forward and threw his sword up with a shout: "ATTACK!!!!" The footsoldiers ran forward.
"FOR ALL DIMENSIONS!!!!" JJ shouted proudly as he zoomed forward, the creature army following him. The battle was on!!

Yeah, no way was I making JJ's fur color his skin color. Could you imagine how weird that would have been? Ew. Anyway, I know it's kinda weird how he's nonchalant about being a pony and jump-scared easily by Discord, but he's a Power Ranger. He's seen weirder. And Princess Twilight has grown out of the little study-hard-and-always-have-a-plan-ready mare into the confident leader we know today considering the MLP series finale from G4. But that's just me nitpicking this chapter. (squee) Like always, read and review, please!
Beyond the Grid: Into Equestria
The second group of heroes - Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Spike - landed on the ground comically, Pinkie tumbling on the ground more and coming to a stop about five feet in front of them, her eyes swirling like spirals. "Ouchies... I think I landed on my blisters..."
Spike shook himself off from the daze and looked around in confusion. "Where are we?"
Fluttershy got up, rubbing her head as she looked around curiously. "I'm not sure. It looks like Neighpon, but... different."
Her observations were on the money as the city near them was more stylistic and different from the usual brightness of Canterlot High.
Pinkie perked up and smiled as she exclaimed, "Ooh! Maybe we'll find someone who can help us! Come on!" She grabbed the timid girl and pulled her along as she yelped once again.
"Hey! Wait up!" Spike followed the girls quickly, narrowly dodging a clattering object as it flew past his head. "Whoa! What was that?" He trotted over and found an unusual looking pen with a clear wing that had five differently colored stars in it. "What's this weird thing?"
A young girl ran over and stopped when she saw Spike near the Star Color Pen. "Oh sorry, pooch. That's mine."
Spike tilted his head curiously before shrugging and carefully picking up the pen, trotting over and dropping it in her hand, barking slightly and panting a bit.
The girl smiled and patted Spike's head. "Good boy."
Pinkie and Fluttershy came back to get Spike and saw the girl, Fluttershy speaking to her in perfect Neighpon. "Oh, sorry about Spike. He gets distracted sometimes."
Spike rolled his eyes, thinking to himself, "I'm no worse than Twilight at least."
The girl chuckled and smiled, responding to her kindly, "It's no problem. I'm amazed your dog knows what I'm saying."
Pinkie smiled at her. "Yeah, Spike's awesome. You might even say he can understand humans well," she responded before giggling.
Fluttershy picked Spike up as she introduced herself and her friends in succession, "I'm Fluttershy, and this is Spike and Pinkie Pie.
The girl smiled back cheekily as she responded, "Nice to meet you! I'm Hoshina Hikaru!"
A small unicorn like animal looked up at the girls and blinked slightly, seeing the geodes and smiling as it cried, "Fuwa!"
Spike made a surprised expression as he looked around. "The heck was that ?"
Hikaru looked at Spike in surprise for a moment before her eyes gained a twinkle in them as she looked at Spike and shouted excitedly, "Kirayaba! Your dog can talk!"
Pinkie and Fluttershy jumped back in surprise, unexpecting of the sudden shift, but Spike took it in stride as he responded, "Yeah, I gained the ability after a bit of trouble during the Friendship Games."
The unicorn flew up from Hikaru's bag and hovered in front of Spike, speaking up: "Nice to meet you! Fuwa's my name-fuwa !
Pinkie looked at Fuwa in confusion before looking at Hikaru with a surprised question: "Is this some kind of fairy?
"Yep!" Hikaru wrapped her arms around Fuwa. "This is Fuwa-chan!"
Fluttershy smiled and stroked Fuwa's head as she cooed, "Aww! She's adorable!"
Pinkie suddenly shivered before her eyes blinked rapidly and her hands twitched. "Uh-oh! Incoming!" She grabbed the girls and yanked them into an alley just in the nick of time as a portal opened and several soldiers from Drakkon's army came out, starting to spread out and canvas the area in search mode.
Hikaru peeked out at the soldiers and whispered softly, "Who are those guys?"
Pinkie looked out as well, hissing back: "Long story short: very bad guys!"
Fluttershy peeked over Pinkie quickly, biting her lip nervously and whimpering, "They must have followed us through the portal!"
Hikaru made a determined face and ducked back into hiding with the others, pulling out her Pendant as she spoke, "You girls obviously have some kind of magical abilities from how Fuwa reacted to seeing your geodes, right?" She looked at her fellow pinkettes.
"Yeah, we pony up whenever we activate our magic," Pinkie responded with a head tilt.
Hikaru smirked a bit as she grabbed her pen. "Check this out then!"
Hikaru's pendant's top popped off, allowing her to insert her Star Color Pen. "Star Color Pendant! Color Charge!" She drew a star in front of her to start the transformation. Pressing her pen against the pendant, she began to sing and dance, drawing a circle around her as she created her cuffs. She once again pressed her pen to her pendant to draw a wave pattern which she skipped in between to create her shoes. She then started hopping from star to star, twirling the extra red wave to create her dress. She created her choker, earrings and had her hair grow longer and change its style afterwards. One last time, she pressed her pen to her pendant to have it fuse with her dress before twirling the pen in the air and having it fly into its pouch. "The twinkling star that shines throughout the universe! Cure Star!" She struck her pose joyously.
"WHOA!!!" Pinkie was super excited when she saw the transformation. "That's so cool! You're like a magical girl!"
Star chuckled a bit and nodded. "Yep!"
A loud scream from Fluttershy got their attention as they saw a soldier trying to grab her as she jumped and dodged quickly.
Star immediately jumped into action with a shout and punched the soldier back, a star construct forming from her fist as it sent said soldier flying back and away from Fluttershy before she looked at the timid girl. "You okay?"
"Yeah. Thanks," the Element of Kindness replied.
Star quickly jumped into the fray, starting to battle as many soldiers as she could and holding her own quite well before she pulled out another pen and readied it. "Pretty Cure Taurus Star Punch!" She sent a magenta colored star forward with a punch and took out several soldiers.
Pinkie saw more soldiers coming and ponied up quickly, launching sprinkle bombs at them to distract them.
Spike saw more soldiers coming from all directions to assist their comrades. "We're surrounded!" He let Fuwa land on his back and stood nervously looking at the horde, the small fairy whimpering fearfully as well.
Suddenly, various shouts were heard from above as four other girls flipped down and cleared out the group of soldiers with their landing, the quartet looking similar to Star in the cosmic themes.
Star smiled as she saw the girls and called out, "Milky! Guys!"
Cure Milky, the teal Cure, saw Star and smiled with a happy shout. "Star!" She ran over and hugged her best friend.
The rest of the Cures smiled as they walked over, Soliel stepping forward to greet Star next, "Are you okay, Star?"
Star nodded. "Yep! Thanks to some new friends Fuwa-chan and I met, I found my Pen easily!"
Cure Cosmo looked over and saw the ponied up girls and Spike, walking over to them with a smile; "Glad you kept Hikaru safe."
"Actually, she kept us safe," Fluttershy smiled back at the cat-like Cure.
Prunce, a blue blob like alien with tentacles for arms, saw the oncoming soldiers and yelped in surprise, "Watch out-purunsu! "
Milky was stunned by the sheer amount of soldiers as she groaned, "Jeez! Isn't there an end to them?!"
Cure Selene looked at Milky. "You shouldn't have to worry, Milky. Remember, we brought our own army," She responded before looking to the little unicorn on Spike's back. "Right, Fuwa-chan?"
"Fuwa! " Fuwa nodded to her with a smile back.
Pinkie was about to ask what that meant when her ponytail started twitching. "Something's coming down fast!"
As if on cue, a large dust cloud appeared as Pretty Cures of all variants in suits and appearances landed, each one of them looking fierce and unafraid of the soldiers in front of them.
Star saw all of the previous Cures and their own junior team and smiled brightly, "Kirayaba! "
Cure Black was leading the charge as she gripped her fists. "Alright! Let's GO!!!!! " She rushed forward, the rest of the girls charging forwards as all 59 girls started showing off their abilities.
As Spike looked on, he couldn't help but think: "I hope Rarity's doing okay..."

Ugh...... It's been too long since I worked on this story. But I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. I couldn't really think of which team would be best to bring into play until I remembered the news about Tropical Rouge Pretty Cure and thought, 'Hey, why not allow the Cures to get in on this?' So boom, that's where the second group landed. Also, future note, I'm probably gonna be using maybe two or three team changes in the coming chapters, but have the others instantly change. I know it's gonna be dumb cause the All-Stars movies do that, but you can crucify me later. Anyway, the third group may take a bit of time to choose, but I'll be ready for next chapter for sure. Stop 3: The Sailor Senshi
Rarity screamed as she landed on the ground and slid a bit before she looked at herself in distain, "Oh, I look awful."
Applejack came out with Rainbow Dash on her back and grabbed Rarity up quickly as she responded, "No time to worry about looks now, Rare. Come on!" She helped her fashionista friend down the street quickly and got them all behind a dumpster within an alleyway, cautiously peeking out as she watched the soldiers come from the portal and slowly disperse along the streets, moving away from them until they disappeared from sight. "Whew. Tarnation, that was close," she sighed in relief as she moved back to hide.
Rarity looked up with a whimper, "Oh, where are we, Applejack?"
The cowgirl slowly moved to the end of the alley and peeked out around the corner, frowning slightly as she didn't recognize the area before she went back to Rarity and shrugged, "Beats me. But it definitely ain't Canterlot City, that's for dang sure."
Rainbow slowly looked up with her good eye, seeing some Neighponese katakana on a billboard... Or what looked like it. "Looks like we flew halfway across the world."
Applejack heard the sounds of a voice calling out to them: "Excuse me, are you girls alright?" She looked around and saw the source of the voice, which turned out to be a black cat with light brown eyes and... A crescent moon on her forehead? "Or we just plum flew into a different world," the orange skinned cowgirl said in astonishment.
Rarity smiled as she saw the cat and cooed, "Aww! Such an adorable feline! Oh, Opalescence would just adore you around her!"
The cat swished her tail around in annoyance as she sighed, "While I would love to be around other cats right now, I'm more worried about you three."
"How d'ya like that? A talking cat. I'm sure Spike would love to have a conversation with you," AJ smiled a bit before refocusing as she heard Rainbow's groan of pain; "Anyway, we're not really okay. In a nutshell, a tyrannical guy is trying to take over our world and his army chased us and our friends into other dimensions, but we're hoping to find help anywhere we can."
Rarity nodded, "Indeed. That monster damaged poor Rainbow Dash's face and he may have left her blind on one side."
Luna frowned and went to Rainbow, carefully moving the patch to examine the damage and folding her ears down slightly, "I see. Perhaps I can help with this matter." She hopped down and let her moon mark charge up with energy as she called out, "Luna Moonlight Healing!" She sent out waves of healing ripples that fixed Dash's eye and gave the trio of pony girls the extra energy they needed.
"That was so cool!" Rainbow couldn't help but gush in excitement; she had both eyes back and she felt more charged up than ever before!
Rarity suddenly heard the sounds of soldiers approaching and quickly slapped her hands over the rainbow haired girl's mouth and pulled her with herself, ducking back into hiding behind the dumpster with Applejack holding Luna as they joined them.
"Are you sure there were voices coming from this direction?" A Black soldier asked.
"Positive," a Blue soldier responded. "Hard to tell in this vicinity though, what with these alleyways."
Luna looked at the trio and hissed to them, "Follow me!" She hopped out of AJ's arms and ran in the opposite direction of the soldiers, the others following her while flying on one of Rarity's gem constructs to minimize their footsteps.
The quartet made it to a crowded street where Rarity dropped her construct as she and the others kept after Luna, seeing another group of girls and guys up ahead, one of the three blonde girls having a bow in her hair and a white cat with the same crescent moon mark on his forehead.
"Girls!" Luna ran up to the second blonde, who had buns with ponytails coming down as her hairstyle.
Usagi, the odangoed blonde, looked at Luna and knelt down to her level quickly, starting to speak, "Luna! Did you find them alright?"
"I sure did! We had to dodge some of those odd soldiers though," Luna reported.
The third blonde, a short haired adult named Haruka, looked to her teal haired companion with a thought, "You don't think they're here to search for the girls?"
Michiru frowned, "I wouldn't be surprised."
Rainbow held up a hand to stop the conversation, "Hold up. You mean you knew we were coming?"
Hotaru, the second youngest of the group, nodded to Rainbow quickly, "Setsuna and Rei saw this coming thanks to their abilities."
The green haired girl, Setsuna, looked at the Canterlot High trio. "I've had several visions about odd soldiers in the past, all of them lead by this man with darkened veins on his face and a look of about evil and destruction in his eyes," she shuddered slightly at the memory. "The deaths of these... Rangers... weren't a pleasant vision either."
Rei shivered as she agreed, "The blood all over the place and the torn limbs? I mean I'm a shrine maiden, and even I think that's gross."
Applejack's eyes widened at the mention of the man as she growled lowly, "That's Drakkon, alright. We can't let him win!"
Yaten, a white haired male with a ponytail running down his back that was like his brothers, placed a hand on AJ's shoulder with a confident piece of hope: "We won't let him win. There's probably a lot of allies your friends are gathering, and not to mention, there's fifteen more of us to support you."
The cowgirl couldn't help but smile at the young man's reassurance. Something about him and all the others made her feel at ease, like she was certain everything would be okay. "We appreciate this from y'all, we really do."
The white cat, known as Artemis, suddenly noticed some soldiers coming and his tail shot up in alarm. "Girls!"
The others quickly went into a formation as Usagi and her young daughter, Chibiusa, stood at the front, holding a compact. "Let's go!"
The others nodded in agreement.
"Cosmos Power!"
"Pink Moon Crystal Power!"
"Mercury Eternal!
"Mars Eternal!"
"Jupiter Eternal!"
"Venus Eternal!"
"Uranus Eternal!"
"Neptune Eternal!"
"Pluto Eternal!"
"Saturn Eternal!"
"Fighter Star Eternal!"
"Healer Star Eternal!"
"Maker Star Eternal!"
"MAKE UP!" The girls/Starlights finished their transformation call in unison before doing their respective transformations, Usagi's hair becoming a brilliant silvery white as her eyes turned into a wonderful lavender color and the Starlights became females.
Mamoru, Usagi's husband and the team's ally, transformed as well, gaining his Tuxedo Mask outfit.
Rarity watched the transformations in awe, gasping in amazement. "My goodness, those uniforms are stunning!" Her creative mind was overflowing with ideas for formal wear designs for when everything blew over.
Rainbow smiled a bit. "Let's join in on this!" She activated her geode, her teammates following with, and joined the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask readily as Luna and Artemis took cover where the troopers wouldn't get them.
Mamoru joined his family at the front. "No matter what happens, keep the fighting away from civilians!"
"Right!" The group agreed, charging into the fray.

Phew, this one took a couple of days to figure out, because there was the Reiwa Kamen Riders I wanted to send the trio to and have them receive help from the Zero One team and the Heisei Riders before them, then I thought about how the Sailor Senshi never got a chance to reach their best forms in the manga or the anime, and kinda went with my instincts on this. I might have Sci-Twi, Starlight, JJ, Sunset, and Sunburst go to the Rider's world next though to get more help. I don't know, what do you guys think? Beyond the Grid: Into Equestria
Back in Equestria, the group of creatures that were battling kept fighting hard, with the yaks shaking the ground to keep the soldiers down while the dragons and Kirins - now turned into Niriks - burned their flanks and caused some comedic results in the process. Meanwhile, the Changelings caused confusion among the soldiers and distracted them long enough for the unicorns to blast them into the Earth Pony's kicks while the Pegasi, griffins, and hippogriffs bucked and clawed away at the soldiers.
JJ was slashing down some soldiers with Sunset, Princess Twilight, and Sci-Twi providing shields and extra blasts where they were needed.
Sci-Twi grunted as she slid back from a powerful shot and shook her head before looking at JJ and shouting over the clashes, "I don't think this is doing anything!"
"Just hang on, Sci-Twi!" Sunset blasted another soldier out of the way. "Hopefully the others will be back soon!" She grunted as a soldier jumped on her to try and subdue her before she reared back, knocking him off.
Meanwhile, Starlight had grabbed an old item from her village, the Staff of Equality, and brought it with her as she and the boys went full tilt gallop to the Everfree Forest.
"Good thing I sent a message to Spike on the way here!" Starlight panted slightly as she ran, seeing Zecora's hut in the distance. "Yes!" She sprinted the last few hoofbeats with her companions.
Equestrian Spike was waiting for the group as he ushered them inside quickly and closed the door behind them, putting a claw to his lips as he listened outside.
Drakkon's soldiers could be heard galloping past the hut as if they didn't notice it, disappearing into the woods shortly thereafter.
Spike sighed in relief and slumped against the wall as he told them, "They're gone."
Starlight, Sunburst, and Starswirl all breathed a shared relieved sigh as well, looking at each other worriedly.
Starswirl looked over as he heard a pair of hoofsteps walk over and he went to them with a smile as he asked, "I presume you're Miss Zecora?"
The zebra in question smiled as she came into the light and responded in a rhyme, as was her way; "Indeed, Starswirl, it is I. I must say, you're a sight for sore eyes."
Starswirl chuckled lightly and told her, "Times change a lot over a thousand years."
Starlight stepped forward quickly, "Zecora, did you get our message?"
Zecora nodded, "The situation you face is dire, I understand. But never fret, for I shall give a helping hoof and hand." She walked around to her herbs and grabbed some down, looking to Spike next, "Young drake, can you reach the topmost shelf? There's a few herbs up there I cannot get myself."
"You got it," Spike flew up to the high shelf and picked up the herbs in question, flying down to Zecora and sprinkling a bit of each plant into her cauldron as she added the rest in, giving him the opportunity then to get down and blow some of his fire under the pot to let it heat up.
Zecora nodded to him as she stirred the potion, making sure the color was what she wanted before she looked to the unicorns. "Now attend thee, my fellow quadrupeds. We must make sure this potion is magically fed."
Starlight nodded and walked over, getting into position before she and Starswirl charged their horns up.
"Okay, this is gonna take a good amount of precision and timing. One wrong mistake and we risk losing it all for nothing." Sunburst timed the swirl to the exact moment it stopped before he looked at them. "Go!"
The magically experienced unicorns fired equal amounts of mana into the potion, keeping their power surging for as long as it needed.
Sunburst watched the color change once again before he looked at the two unicorns. "Okay!"
The Stars stopped their horns and panted slightly, Starlight blowing some trailing smoke off the tip of her horn proudly.
Sunburst peeked in and saw the potion turn a bright blue, just what they needed. "Alright! That's the right amount of magic!"
Spike peeked out the window and saw the soldiers coming back around. "Uh-oh." He looked at the others and reported, "We got company! About a dozen soldiers, give or take!"
Starlight looked at Spike and wondered, "How good is your fire since reaching puberty?"
Spike thought it over. "Practically been keeping up on my practice everyday. Why?" he asked with a knowing smirk.
Starlight smiled as well; this idea could work to ensure they could get back to the others.
A green fire erupted in front of the soldiers as they quickly stopped and tried to find a way around it, only to be caught by walls of fire at every turn.
Spike smirked as he flew back to the four, "Success! With a few broken trees in their way, they'd have to get sheer dumb luck to escape where my fire sends them!"
Starlight nodded. "Good job, Spike! Now let's get back to Twilight and the others!" She lead the four out of the hut and through the forest, teleporting them away once they were within sight of Ponyville.
Back at the battle, the Equestrian Forces were holding the army back as long as possible, Sunset and JJ standing back to back as they looked at a group surrounding them.
Suddenly, several blasts of teal magic hit the soldiers and knocked them aside as Starlight ran over and took her position by her friends. "Got the potion ready and the Staff has been fully charged!"
Sunset nodded and accepted the items in her own cyan aura, shrinking the staff before she put it in her bag and looking at JJ, "We're gonna need a portal back to Canterlot High, and we can't use the mirror portal right now!"
"Gotcha covered!" He threw up a dimensional connector and caught it with his wing, shooting by Sci-Twi and making a portal.
Sci-Twi looked over in time and saw the portal before she nodded to the others. "Let's go!" She jumped through first, followed by JJ.
Sunset looked at Starlight, "You wanna help, you're more than welcome to!"
Starlight smirked, "Let's get moving! We got a bunch of dimensions to save!" She ran through the portal, followed by Sunset.

Okay, first off: You honestly thought I was gonna call Starlight's fake artifact by its show-canon name? Uh, no way, Jose! I like Staff of Equality better myself. Second, this is gonna be a little limited due to what my original vision for this story was and the updates I had to make were about due anyway. And boy were they due! Over a year late, I mean sheesh. Stupid COVID-19 messing up everyone's schedules.... Oh well. Not like there's gonna be a variant that'll wipe out the entirety of the world.
