Discord is the lord of chaos.

Fate can be considered the god of order.

Fate is the one thing you cannot change. And it does not want to change. Don't touch it, don't move it, don't even breathe unless you have the script for it. Don't try to be, don't try to fight it. Fate won't have any objections.

Toss a stone in any given point of a river, and then you'll see a wave. The closer you are to the landing point, and the wave generated by it will be smaller. However, the further away you get, the wider it becomes.

But regardless, time continues to move forward, and so does the wave. Time can be compared to that river. Parallel rivers may run by its side, but rivers tend to converge in determined points. These points are known as 'World Line' supposedly immutable events that were set by Fate to generate order, regardless of the version of time that is flowing.

Needless to say, Discord was having none of that.
