Rainbow Dash's magenta eyes opened to her cloud room. Why is everything... smaller then it was last night?
She tumbled out of bed, finding that it was hard to walk. "What is happenin' to me?" she paused. "Why can't I tawk wight?"
She ran toward a mirror, seeing a blue foal with a rainbow mane. "I'm a foaw?! But I was a mawe a few houws ago! I don't wanna be a foaw!!! I wanna be a mawe and be cool!!"

Tank flew into Dash's room, worried about his owner. She didn't normally talk to herself, especially not about foals. "Tank! Tank, it's me, Wainbow Dash! Tell Fwuttershy to come to my Cwouoniwum!"
Tank nodded, as a few minutes later, Fluttershy flew into the Cloudominium.
"Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy exclaimed. "Tank told me to come as soon as possible! ... Dash?"

Rainbow Dash tumbled down the stairs, landing on her stomach. "Heh heh heh... Surpwise?"
"Did you just wake up like this?!" Fluttershy asked, carrying the foal up to her bedroom.
"Yeah, I did! Wast night I went to sleep and I was a mawe, and then I woke up as a foaw!" Rainbow Dash said. Tears were forming in her eyes.

"Shhh. There there Dash. It'll be okay..." Fluttershy said.
"Awe you suwe? Am I stiww awesome wike this?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes. You're still awesome Dash." Fluttershy smiled. "I have too many animals... I can't take care of a foal, too!"
"Then who'ww take cawe of me?" she asked.
"I think I have a few ideas." Fluttershy said.

"Sorry Flutters!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "Mr. and Mrs. Cake got a HUUUUUUGE order! But Dashie is sooooooooo cute as a foal!"
"Don't caww me cute! I'm awesome, not cute!" Rainbow Dash grumbled.
"I can give you some supplies, and maybe I could help sometimes!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Thanks anyways Pinkie." Fluttershy smiled.

"Sorry Fluttershy, darling, but I have dresses to make. Maybe Sweetie Belle could?" Rarity said. "Dash, would you like a dress? It would be adorable!"
"You do wealize I can stiww undewstand you, wight? I'm not stupwid, I'm just a foaw!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "And the answew's no. I don't want a dwess. I'm awesome, not adowable or cute or anything wike that!"

"I can't!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "Sorry! I'm busy."
"With what, if you don't mind me asking?" Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash wandered around the room.
"It would spoil a surprise for Rainbow!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "If we can still do it while she's a foal... Can you still eat cake?"
"Maybe..." she couldn't believe she was saying this, "mushed cake. But I don't think I can eat nowmaw cake wight now. Is Scoots busy?"
"That's it! Thanks Sweetie Belle!" Fluttershy flew out the window, with Rainbow Dash on her back.

"Me?! I'm not much older then Rainbow Dash is right now Fluttershy!" Scootaloo exclaimed.
"Everypony else is busy - including me. Pinkie Pie can bring you supplies, and maybe help you foalsit if she can take a break from helping Mr. and Mrs. Cake. I'll check in later! Bye!" Fluttershy flew back to her cottage.
"Gweat. She weft me with you - which isn't bad - but wike you said, you'we bawewy owder then me!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Uuuuugh!"

"And I'm busy too! Well not as much as everypony else but still..." Scootaloo sighed. "Well... Wait! You have a diaper?"
"I dwo?" Rainbow Dash looked back. "I guess I dwo. Fwuttewshy didn't put that on, neithew did Pinkie Pie or Wawity or Sweetie Bewwe!"
"Did you just wake up with it then?" Scootaloo asked, going to the Twinkling Balloon.
"Welcome to the Twinkling Ball - is that a filly Rainbow Dash?" Cherry Berry asked.
"Yes, I am." Rainbow said. "Chewwy Bewwy, can we pwease just go on the bawwoon!?"
"Fillies and foals get on free..." Cherry Berry sighed. "Just like the sign says."

The two of them went into the balloon, riding up to Cloudsdale.
"There it is." Scootaloo said. "Where I'll be living with you until you can turn back."
"If I can tuwn back," Rainbow corrected. Why am I fine with staying a foal for the rest of my life?

She'd accomplished her dream of becoming a Wonderbolt. She had a great litt - big sister. Wait...
"Scoots, would you adopt me as youw daughtew?" Rainbow asked.
Scootaloo gasped happily, almost falling out of the sky. "Of course! I mean I don't think I'm old enough to..."
"You're the same age that Fwuttewshy was when she got her cutie mawk!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Not the same height but whatevew."

The two of them entered Rainbow's house. Scootaloo managed to form some clouds into a crib with some trouble, putting Rainbow Dash in, putting the blanket and pillow from her bed in.

A knock on the door startled her. She opened it to see Pinkie Pie.
"Hi Scoots! Is Dashie asleep? Well it doesn't matter! I got..." Pinkie Pie opened her saddlebag, taking a breath. "Diapers, pacifiers, raddles, a crib, a mobile - the same one Dashie got for Flurry Heart actually - and... some other stuff!"
"How did the crib fit?" Scootaloo asked.
"I dunno! I got it from the foal supplies shop. It said it was for pegasus foals and somehow I fit it in my saddlebag!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "Anyways... I'll help you get it set-up!"

"Steady... steady... THERE!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, as Scootaloo set the crib down.
"WOOO!" Scootaloo exclaimed, wiping her forehead. "Thanks Pinkie!"
"Let's try not to wake up Dashie!" Pinkie exclaimed, hopping - quietly - down the stairs.

Scootaloo picked up Rainbow Dash, placing her in the cloud crib. "There! Sleep tight Dash."
She smiled, as she yawned. "Guess I'll sleep in Rainbow's bed. See you later Pinkie!"

Pinkie Pie nodded, leaving as Scootaloo smiled. She looked around, seeing, alongside Pinkie's other supplies, a Spitfire plushie.
"A Spitfire plushie? She's an actual pony." Scootaloo sighed. She carried it to Dash's room, giving it to Dash. The foal immediately wrapped her hooves around it, cuddling it.
Scootaloo smiled as she went to bed as well.

Scootaloo woke up to crying.
She flew out of bed, seeing Dash crying.
"What's wrong Rainbow?" Scootaloo asked.
"My pwushie! Sniff! Feww out of the bed! I neeeeeeeed iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

Scootaloo picked up the plushie, almost dropping it when she heard a knock on the door. "We haven't even eaten yet."
She gave it to Rainbow as she flew downstairs.
"Scoots, Dash, come to Sugarcube Corner ASAP!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Um... okay." Scootaloo said, as Pinkie Pie hopped away. This is awkward.
