//-------------------------------------------------------// The Canyon -by NekoThePony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// An Urban Legend //-------------------------------------------------------// An Urban Legend “Do you want to hear a story?” “I rather want to fuck you” “You can fuck me later. Please let me tell you the story” “What story?” “Oh its an urban legend. Its pretty known here in appleoosa” “Oh an urban legend. Is it a ghost story?” He laughed. “No its not. Not really. But its pretty brutal” “Oh its brutal heh?” “Yeah pretty much. You still wanna hear it?” “I rather brutalize your ass” He laughed again. “You can fuck me as hard as you want if you let me tell the story” “OK tell your story. But remember what you promised me” He smirked. “Yeah yeah. That 5 seconds fuck I stand” He smirked back. He sulked. The thunder was strong. The rain bumped against the windows. Even with rolled down blinds the room was illuminated with thunder light. Two stallions was sitting at a table. In the middle of the table was a candle set up. The candle was the only light source in the room besides the thunder. On one side of the table sat a unicorn with green coat and a grey mane. He smoked a cigarette and blew the smoke over the candle. The candle flickered. On the other site of the table sat a pegasus zebra with a black mane. The zebra looked at the candle. He looked up with an angry emotion at the unicorn and made him clear that he should put out the cigarette. The green stallion rolled his eyes and threw the cigarette into the ashtray and leaned back on the chair. The zebra looked back at the candle. Every lighting strike made the zebra jump. “So you gonna tell me the story now?” asked the Unicorn as he leaned over the table. The table was cracking under his weight. He wasn't even a big stallion. Bit bigger then the average stallion. The zebra looked back at him and saw him smirking. “The story is pretty violent” “Very violent” said the Pegasus Zebra in an unusually serious and calm tone. The unicorn sighed and moved back on the chair. “I don't care. I can handle hard stuff, like you,” The unicorn laughed loud, as a lightning strike made him almost felt off his chair. The zebra chuckled as the unicorn stood up and moved the chair closer to the table. “I mean it serious. The story is pretty hard. It scared the shit out of me as a foal.” “As a foal? Why do they tell such a violent story to foals?” the unicorn asked as thunder lightning illuminated the room again. “Well we from Appleoosa are different. We are more hard boiled then others” He smiled. “So do you wanna start the story or what?” the Unicorn asked “Calm down i am gonna start soon Eli” The zebra moved closer to the table. The screeching of the chair was loud. “A little background to this story. Do you know the canyon here?” The Zebra pointed his hooves to the wall behind him. “You mean that shit hole a few miles from here?” Eli asked “Yeah that “shit hole” “replied the zebra annoyed. “It's not a shit hole its a canyon” “For a canyon its a bit small” Eli or Elstar replied. “You mean small like your dick?” The zebra laughed. “Ill show you later small Sani,” Elstar smirked. “Oh I hope you will” Sani or Santana leaned over the table, his face covered with the orange light of the candle. “Anyway back to the topic” Santana continued. “The story is about the canyon and that what happened there 100 years ago” “What happened there?” Elstar asked. “Well i am about to tell you that story know” “Gee I cant wait” said Elstar sarcastically. “If you let me finish this story i am gonna suck your dick ok?” Suddenly Elstar Interest in the Story grew. “OK then tell your story” Elstar smirked. Santana smirked back and began to tell. It was a windy and hot day in Appleoosa and the canyon was a popular place for the local ponies to escape the burning heat. Appleoosa was a young town at this time. The canyon was used for several activities, especially those that was too exhausting to do in the heat. A small path was leading down. The canyon was big enough for a small market. At the end of the canyon was a huge wall turning this canyon a dead end. The canyon was big but not really high but the height was still enough to fall down to your death. Ponies crafted barrels or sold goods to other ponies. As the day went on, the wind went stronger, and a stallion noticed dark clouds building up. One stallion, wearing a hat and a brown jacket looked up in the sky. He turned around to the stallion behind him who looked at a jar. The stallion noticed this and asked what is. The stallion with the Hat said that he wants to leave before the storm comes. The other stallion, still looking at the jar sighed and followed him to the exit. Both walked slowly through the small path. The stallion with the hat looked up at in the sky again and the stallion behind him bumped into him. Keep moving said the stallion who bumped in. As both arrived at the top of the canyon, the stallion stopped and lookedan even bigger cloud cluster, that was moving towards the canyon. Single thunder lightnings was visible in the clouds. Both stallions was standing next to each other. Suddenly the one of the stallions spotted something in the corner of his eye. He turned around and saw a figure wearing a black cloak, entirely covered in it. The figures faces covered in a face wrap, giving the figure a grim reaper look. The figure stood still, not even the wind moved the cloak. The stallion came a bit closer to inspect the figure, that had the same size of an average pony. He walked unnerved backwards and bumped into the stallion with the hat. Annoyed he asked what is going on and he spotted the figure too. Both stallions looked now in fear at the silent figure. Thunder rumble The stallion without the hat screamed and ran away. The stallion with the hat looked at the figure and then back at the running stallion and walked slowly away, still with his eyes locked on the figure which seams to follow his movement. A few meters away he turned around. The figure was now facing in the same direction as the stallion. The stallion panickedand ran away and… “BORING,” yelled Elstar and looked at the lightnings that flashed through the closed blinds. Santana jumped and looked infuriated at him. “That is the whole story?” asked Elstar not letting his eyes of the blinds. “No its not the whole story. That was just the beginning,” Santana sighed. "So does this what you told me yet has anything to do with the story?” “No not really it..” “Then why are you telling me this?” Silence “You ever heard of buildup?” asked Santana annoyed. A lightning strike made both look jump and Santana looked back to Elstar. “Also why does anyone go to the canyon in the summer. Isn't the place shit hot then?” Before Santana could answer Elstar continued with his complaining. “I went there with you. The place is pretty small” “I know. The legend alters from pony to pony” said Santana in an annoyed voiced. “Just let me finishing it ok?” “Yeah but only if we fuck later” Elstar smirked. Santana rolled with his eyes and as soon as the next lightning strike hit he continued. A stallion stood next to the entry and was busy crafting barrels. A stallion next to him sawed wooden plates into the fitting lengths and gave it to him. The stallion who crafted the barrels took a break and wiped the sweat of his forehead. He looked around and saw the other activities in the canyon. The hammer felt to the ground. As he picked the hammer up and turned back to his work, he spotted a dark figure standing next to the entry. He smiled at the Figure and asked whats going on. The figure didn't replied or moved. The stallion looked at the figures cloak and asked him again if its not too hot for wearing those cloths. The figure stood still. The stallion got nervous and called the other one stallion who sawed the wooden plates. The stallion looked up to the figure but continued sawing the wooden plates as soon as he looked up. The stallion turned his head back to the figure still standing in the same spot. The stallion got even more nervous and decided to continue his work too. He grabbed the hammer back from the ground and heard a metallic click in front of him. He looked up and the muzzle of a double barrel was pointed at his face. The shotgun floated in mid air close to the black cloak of the figure and… “A floating shotgun?” asked Elstar skeptical, now with a beer bottle in front of him. Santana sighed annoyed as he got interrupted again by Elstar. “Yes,” answered Santana angry nodding. “But how?” asked Elstar “Maybe the figure was a Unicorn,” Santana pointed to Elstars Horn. “That story is bullshit,” Elstar laughed “I mean its alters from Pony to Pony. In some other ones the figure had a Knife or used Magic” explained Santana. Elstar chuckled. Santana looked at him in a pissed look. “Can I now continue?” asked Santana angry “Sure what ever,” said Elstar and turned around and took a sip from the bottle. A loud bang disturbed the peace on this hot summer day. The stallion who sawed the wooden plates screamed and felt on the dusty ground. He stood up immediately and tried in panic to find out where the bang came from. He looked and the figure was gone but the other stallion laid on the ground. He moved slowly towards him, looking in all direction where the figure went. He stopped and looked down. Half of the stallions head was torn off. He saw his skull and part of the brain all around him. It took a while as he began to realizing what was happening. He began to scream, tumbled and felt on his back. He crawled backward from the corpse screaming. Suddenly he noticed that the figure stood right behind his head, looking down and pointing with the gun direct at him. The stallion screamed again as the figure shot a second time. Now the other Ponies in the canyon noticed the events too and started to panic as the figure moved towards them. The only escape was blocked by the figure and the walls was too high to climb. The figure walked slowly shooting everything that crossed him. The figure noticed a mare protecting a foal. Both cried as the figure shot both into pieces. Some Ponies tried to threw stuff at the figure but got as an answer a shot out of the figures shotgun. The figure stepped over the corpses and made its way through the canyon. At the end of the canyon was a huge wall. A few ponies was left and trapped. The few left started to scream and to beg but the figure stood still again. Thunder growling was to hear as the figure shot the other ponies in cold blood. The figure made its way back to the entry as it noticed a whimpering mare who tried to hold her intestines. The figure was looking down at her. She cried as she saw the figure pointing the gun at her. But the figure didn't shot her and left her back for dead. The figure walked back to the entry, over the two dead stallion. As the figure arrived at the top the storm began. Soon the canyon was filled to the with red water. The figure stood at the canyon top for a moment and disappeared in thin air… “… and to this the canyon is allegedly filling up with blood every 100 years” Lightning strike “Seriously?” Elstar asked sarcastically. He tried to hide that he was indeed shocked about this story but didn't wanted to let Santana know this. “Yes seriously. I mean every Year around this date there is a huge thunderstorm,” replied Santana. “Isn't that normal here?” Elstar asked as he emptied the bottle. “Yeah it is but..” Santana tried to find the right words. “Also how didn't the other ponies noticed when the gun was shot and how did the figure just disappeared,” interrupted Elstar Santana. Before Santana could answer Elstar continued “And why didn't he shot the one pony that was left and how the hell did the canyon filled up with water that fast. I mean the storms here are heavy but not much that the “canyon” could be filled to the top” “Like I said its a legend that alters from pony to pony” replied Santana annoyed. Silence. Elstar still slightly shocked tried to change the topic. “Anyway” said Elstar smirking. “You still wanna fuck?” Santana, still annoyed, smiled back. Sex was over in a few minutes. Santana slept peacefully next to Elstar who was lying awake quietly crying questioning his masculinity as he suddenly got the desire for a cigarette. Elstar crawled out of the bed slowly not to wake up Santana. He opened the balcony door and took a deep breath. Elstar loved the smell after a thunder storm. Outside it was peacefully silent. Elstar could hear crickets playing the melody of the night. The moon was high as Elstar leaned over the balcony barricade only wearing a t shirt. In the pale moon light, Elstar could see shades of the cemetery next to the house. Elstar pulled out a cigarette, inhaled the smoke and blew it out into the night. Elstar heard some rustling in the garden but he ignored it. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the cigarette. The rustling again. Elstar opened his eyes and looked down. Someone was standing in the garden. First shocked and then angry shouted he “Hey fuck off. I'm a royal guard and...” The figure stepped into the pale moonlight and Elstar only could recognize a black figure. Elstar couldn't believe what he saw and his half smoked cigarette felt him out of his snout. The figure stood still in the dark garden and looked up to Elstar as he disappeared in thin air. Elstar screamed as the tumbled backwards into the bedroom, falling on the ground. Santana woke up and asked Elstar confused what was going on. Elstar heavily breathing felt on his back and fainted away. Santana jumped out of the bed and looked scared and confused out of the window. Santana just saw the cemetery in the moonlight and shivered. He closed the door and went over to Elstar who passed out on the ground. Author's Note Hi this is my first story and i hope you like it
