Link had managed to shoot a tracker into her brain and prevent it from being removed. Now, Celestia and Luna had an idea of where the villains were grouped together and how to stop them completely. "Since the tracker is in Chrysalis' brain, we can see what she sees.", Brandon explained. Celestia looked at the screen and almost had a panic attack. She had heard only the legends about Grogar, not that he actually existed. "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS REAL!", Celestia yelped nervously. She calmed down quickly and began setting plans for how to stop Grogar's madness for eternity. Everyone knew this would not be an easy mission. "It looks as if he can try to predict the future with a crystal ball. He thinks that Luna and I will be taking a vacation. Luckily, that is not true.", Celestia said. "We also have an advantage. Grogar doesn't know who we are. We should give him an unexpected and unwanted surprise attack.", Brandon said with a maniacal look in his eyes. Celestia agreed with Brandon, and the plans were laid out. Shining Armor volunteered to fly the first group of attackers to an area one mile away from the cave where Grogar's new group of villains were based. The remaining attackers would be stationed around the perimeter of the cave, equidistant from each other, but two miles away. Everyone would wear camouflage clothing so that they'd be hard to spot, and they would have radio contact. //-------------------------------------------------------// The battle begins //-------------------------------------------------------// The battle begins Grogar heard the plane fly past and looked up in confusion. He had never seen anything like that. "What was that flying over our heads?", he asked Cozy Glow. Cozy had not seen the plane when he did, so she was unable to answer. They suddenly heard the sound of fire, and Chrysalis returned with burns on her skin. Grogar sent Tirek to find out what was going on. He looked around, but couldn't see anyone who would possibly be attacking them. However, Rambo was hiding in the mud and released an arrow. This was not an explosive arrow, it was a smoke bomb designed to blind anyone nearby. Tirek couldn't see, and before he knew it, he felt sharp pain in his chest. He had been stabbed. Colin dropped his invisibility and began releasing fire, because he carried a flamethrower as well as his weapons. Tirek was burned to ashes, and the soldiers pressed on. Soon, the time came to summon the soldiers who were on standby. Brandon pulled out a flare gun and shot a bright light into the dark evening sky. Celestia, the Main Six, and the Young Six showed up in a flash. It was time to strike. //-------------------------------------------------------// The end of Grogar //-------------------------------------------------------// The end of Grogar Celestia summoned Luna for the execution, and they charged their horns with alicorn magic. Aiming at the target on Grogar's chest, they fired the blasts. "NOOOOOO!!",Grogar cried as he saw the beams fly to determine his fate. The beams met their mark, striking him square in the chest. More beams of energy shot from other parts of his body, until he was engulfed in the blinding light. Finally, the energy blasts merged into one sphere and shrunk around Grogar. The orb popped and fizzled into nothingness. Grogar had been destroyed. Cozy Glow was sentenced to hang, and then she was cremated. Celestia breathed a sigh of relief, once she was positive that it was finally over. Although friendship problems still came up in Equestria, there were no other threats, aside from when Satan cracked down on them. THE END //-------------------------------------------------------// Gearing up, and insertion //-------------------------------------------------------// Gearing up, and insertion While the squadron was gearing up, Brandon and Colin walked in with two individuals that their Equestrian allies had never seen before. One was dressed for war, and looked ready to grab weapons. He introduced himself as Snake, a fierce, battle-ready soldier who stopped at nothing to complete a mission. The other one only wore black cargo pants, black lace-up boots, and a black bandanna. He carried a bow and a quiver on his back. He introduced himself as Rambo, a strong soldier who would kill anyone who was not on his side. Brandon explained that Rambo used specialized arrows that were impact sensitive. This meant that the arrows were explosive. He was also experienced in stealth, and carried a knife. Nevertheless, the unit members continued prepping and testing their weapons, packing their equipment, and suiting up. "Let's move out.", Celestia instructed three minutes later. The outer group stepped into a teleporter and were beamed to their respective areas. Brandon, Colin, Link, Rambo, Snake, and Flurry Heart walked outside to the plane. Shining Armor powered up the radar and took off moments after everyone was fastened in. 20 minutes later, they neared the drop zone. "Hook up.", Rambo said calmly. Everyone unbuckled their seatbelts and tethered their parachutes to metal rings on the ceiling of the plane. Flurry Heart was not using a parachute because she had wings. She could simply fly to the ground. "Get ready to jump. Good luck sweetheart.", Shining said as the time came. He pulled a switch to open doors in the plane's floor, and the soldiers squatted down. When the light turned green, everyone leaned forward and dropped off the plane. When the soldiers landed, they immediately armed themselves and started advancing towards the secret place in the forest. //-------------------------------------------------------// Infiltration //-------------------------------------------------------// Infiltration "OPEN FIRE!!", Link bellowed as the squadron charged into the woods with rage in their eyes. Blasts flew from phasers and Rambo shot multiple arrows at the trees, starting a forest fire. Chrysalis tried to slow them down, but all of the soldiers were too much for her. She was shot by stun beams, and by razor sharp arrows, until she couldn't breathe. She was left to be consumed by the blaze. Yona began kicking down trees, Ocellus used her magic to keep Grogar guessing on where they were, Smolder enhanced the fire with her breath, Gallus fanned the fire, Silverstream helped the fire spread by squirting lighter fluid and Sandbar tackled anything that got in their way. The Main Six didn't have much luck because Grogar quickly spotted them and used the dark energy from his crystal ball to knock them out and seal them in crystals, but Celestia shattered them as quick as a wink. Grogar also saw the Christians and tried to slow them down by shooting beams from the crystal ball, but they deflected them with their swords. Link shot acid in Grogar's eyes to blind him, and started scanning to find out how to kill him. "Celestia, you need to destroy his crystal ball. It contains his soul. If you can shatter the ball, Grogar's soul will not be able to stay protected. It cannot survive without being contained by any type of crystal. Results are unknown.", he reported. Following Link's advice, Celestia charged up power in her horn and fired a blast. However, the ball didn't break right off. It only cracked and repaired itself. Flurry Heart figured out that it took more than one alicorn to build up the required energy. They both fired simultaneously, but the Christians charged their spiritual powers, the Main Six charged their powers from the Elements of Harmony, and the Young Six charged their powers from the Elements. The powers converged into one massive beam that struck the crystal ball at a high velocity. The ball burst open and the orb that formed Grogar's soul floated out. Sparks flew from the orb, and it lost its power and dissipated in only one minute. Grogar screamed in AGONY as he felt terrible pain all over himself. Flaming beams of energy flew from his front hooves and around his head as a target reticle materialized on his chest.
