I slowly got up from a bed. What the hell just happened yesterday- I suddenly remembered. My rapture. My arrival in this place. My battle with Nightmare Moon. And me going unconscious. I grabbed one of my arms to check if it was alright. Bad move. "SH*T!" Yep. It was injured. I immediately let go of my broken arm. I looked around, my eyes widening as I realized that I wasn't in the castle anymore. I dashed towards the door, pressing my ear against it. I heard voices speaking outside. "Is he still sleeping?" Apparently they hadn't heard me curse with that question. A second voice answered. "Last time we checked he seemed completely knocked out. He might wake up in a few hours." In a few hours? Hmph. I have time to plan my mistake. "Mind letting me inside?" Or not. I began to look for an exit. I saw that there was an open window. I smiled as I climbed up towards the window. The steps began to get louder. Right when the door opened, I jumped right out of the window. Only problem was that I didn't think about how high I was. I crashes into the floor, pain going into my mind. I began to yell out a series of curses as I experienced the pain of falling three stories high. Of course my screams brought the attention of the ones above. "What was that?" "It sounded like it came from outside." "Let's go check." I scrambled, picking myself up from the floor. The last thing I wanted was to be detained by them. Sure they helped me but I needed to find a way to go home. I dashed across the open fields. My legs were burning with pain, but with the help of a Heal ability I slowly started to regenerate. A rainbow streak flew up into the air, circling around. I immediately began to run into the opposite direction. Jumping over various obstacles, I spotted a dense forest up ahead. If I could reach there in time I could escape from them. But then I heard a sound coming near. The sound of wings flapping. I immediately stopped running and rolled over right when the rainbow streak I saw earlier blasted just where I was. The rainbow streak tried to halt but crashes into a tree. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yelled as I ran towards another direction. The rainbow streak recovered and started to catch up with me. By the time a second passed, it was already next to me. I looked at my side and saw the same cyan girl with rainbow hair running....no... FLYING right next to me. She wore one of those athletic clothing and a red jacket. I looked in shock. "What the fu- How the hell are you flying?!" I asked, still running. The girl pointed at her eyes and scowled me. "Hey don't you see these wings!?" The girl said. "Now stop running so we can take you back!" The girl said, trying to grab me. With a hast calculation I grabbed her nearest wing to me and let it go. That grab caused her to lose control and to fall. "I'M DANGEROUS! GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yelled again, sprinting away. Suddenly I felt a hand grab my shoulder, causing me to lose focus and to fall into the ground. Apparently this girl was super fast to have caught up with me. 'Super Speed Ability?' I thought to myself as I shook off her hand. 'Don't mind if I do.' With a sudden burst of speed I dashed out, a dark trail forming behind me. Quickly the speedy girl catched up to me. "Hey! You're fast! What's your name?" "MY NAME IS IRRELEVANT NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY BEFORE I ACCIDENTALLY HURT YOU LIKE I DID TO OTHERS!" I yelled as I began to randomly fire energy beams to force her to back off. The girl still chased me. "Well either ways I'll be taking you with me! You can't be that bad if you helped us defeat a villain that could've sunken Equestria in eternal darkness." The girl suddenly grabbed my by the shirt and lifted me up. "Hey let go of me!" I yelled, ready to blast her but I restrained myself. Why start a fight when there is no need to? I let myself get dragged back, my moment of anger gone. When we arrived, the others were waiting me. All of the those who were part of the massive rainbow beam and two others. One was like the other one I faced yesterday but her color was lighter and she had no armor. The other seemed a bit more mature and was white with a wavy colorful mane. I looked at the smaller bluer figure and suddenly it clicked. Is this....Nightmare Moon!? We stared at each other for a long time. Silence fell over the room as we stared at each other. I sighed. "So is this the real you?" I asked. 'Nightmare Moon's nodded. I sighed. "You're lucky that your personality as Nightmare Moon was not your true personality. I'm not so lucky." I said, lowering my head. I tried to not look at her. "What you saw, was only a part of what I truly was. I was known to be violent by nature. They called me a monster for who I was. And I'd just shut them up with my power. You're lucky that while you turned into this being that you don't have to live that you were like that by nature. You don't have to remember trillions of memories where you hold your prey by the neck, them pleading for mercy, and you just destroy them. This is the reason why I want to leave. I'm a threat to you all. Which is why they tried to get rid of me by taking me here." I said. I looked up. Their faces were not of fright but of compassion. The white one approached me and lifted up my head. "What is in the past is in the past. Here you can forget who you were and you can begin agai-" "I ALREADY TRIED!" I yelled, causing everyone to become frozen in shock. "I already tried! I lowered myself to the lowest point in society just so that I wouldn't commit the same mistake I did two years ago! But guess what happened?! I placed my trust one someone...AGAIN...AND EVERYTHING GOES OUT OF CONTROL AGAIN! My father wrote a book about how I should use my ability for the good of others....BUT THERE ISN'T ANYONE WORTH OF SAVING!" I yelled, pausing myself as I added a exception. "Except Seraphina." We all stood in silence. My mind was being attacked by so many emotions and memories. I was about to rage again when a hand touched my shoulder. I looked and it was the purple unicorn from before "You don't have to live with that anymore. Are your enemies here?" She asked. I book my head but there was no consolation in that. "And neither is my friend Seraphina." I said. "I need to get back home. " I said. "One reason I began to turn back into my old self, or more better said ... would've, was because my friend, who was the strongest in my school, was attacked and nearly killed by a strange group of people." I said, causing the rest to gasp. "It didn't happen once it happened twice. I suspect it must had been Ember or some group with power, as how would they know that Seraphina read my father's book?" "What contained your father's book?" The white figure asked. I sighed. "Our world was built on a hierarchy where strength defines a person. My father's book was about high tiers helping and taking care of low cripples. It was instantly banned as it attacked directly said hierarchy. And so two groups were made. The Superheroes who were usually high tier people who followed what the book said, and a group called Ember who's mission was to track down these people and to kill them." I looked at them. The tallests of the group, 'Nightmare Moon' and her older white companion lowered their heads a bit, the cyan , orange, and other white girl were shocked as well as the purple one, and the pink and yellow girls were on the verge of tears. "My friend had a level so high, 8.0 that she was considered as a god-tier. I believe they had somehow known about her power, her suspension for reading the book, or just by pure chance, that they attacked her. They used a injection that stripped away her ability, causing her to become a cripple. It was the way that this group seemed to be able to knock down a high-tiers so easily. She barely escaped to my house only to get again nearly get captured. We barely saved her but about her ability, it was deemed that she'd never recovered it again. The secret was kept until it was proven by another student that Seraphina had lost her talent and so she became a target just like other low tiers. She became the cripple. I was enraged that these people who would do everything she said now used this opportunity to brutalize her. And so my mission was to climb up the hierarchy, just like it was supposed to be, but to save Seraphina and others from these mid and high tiers who think that just because they have power, they can do everything they want." I gritted my teeth, anger rising as I remembered, or more better said, recieve a memory of Seraphina being beaten up outside of campus, all of them mocking them for being weak. "We'll help you partner if that's what you want." The cowgirl of the group said. "Where do you come from?" She asked. "I come from Wellston Private High School." I answered. "Say what....?" The girl said. "I've never heard a school named like that in the entire world of Equestria." I sighed. I knew it. "I knew the authorities wanted to get rid of me, but I didn't realize they wanted to eliminate me from my world!" Rage again built up inside of me. "Because I come from a different yet similar world called Earth." I sighed, my hands on my head. "How did they bring you here?" The purple girl said. I sighed. "I believe the faults mostly mines. A woman used a portal spell while I was being blindfolded but I copied it and threaten to send them to other worlds if it were necessary. They punched me and I fell in one of my own portals. I don't think any of you have a portal ability right?" I looked at them and they were in silence. "So it means I'm truly stuck here." I said. "Well we do have magic." The purple girl stated. I looked and my eyes widened as the girl was performing a very complicated fire spell. I nearly tripped backwards at this sudden revelation. "So if you all have magic...can you bring me back home?!" I asked. Maybe I can go home! Unfortunately the white woman with wavy hair shook her head. "If Twilight were to attempt something like that, I fear her body would burn out. We've never done a dimensional spell. It requires a lot of energy. There were mirror portals but I don't think we'll be able to find yours as soon as you want. In fact I don't remember where did we place those portals. Even if we do find it, my mentor Starswirl seemed to have placed a barrier to prevent me from using these portals since I used it often which could've endangered other worlds. " The woman sighed. I lowered my head. Another dead end. "But we could try to teach you magic and from there you might be able to produce a spell capable of sending you home." I rolled my eyes. "Okay. Teach me magic but wait how will I be able to even use it?! I don't have a horn like you!" I yelled. Celestia did a spell, her horn glowing yellow. When the spell was finished, she actually looked pretty surprised. I glared at her. "Alright! WTF did you do right now?!" "I didn't do nothing. I just let the world reveal who you are here." The woman said. I looked at a nearby window and did a double, maybe even a triple take. "WTF?!" Staring right at me was me. But I was changed. For one my ears now resemble a bit of a horse's. My mouth and nose were also changed a bit. My skin was now a bit furish. But most importantly was the fact that I had both wings and a horn. But unlike the others who's wings or horns were of the same color, my wings and horns had a mix of gold and black color. And just like that they disappeared, though a light shadow covered the place where they used to be. "What am I?!" I asked. The woman smiled. "You seem to be a Earth pony, one with no wings or horn, but at the same time, I believe your ability gave you the power to transform into a half alicorn, a pony with the features of an alicorn but could only hold it for a moment. You also could be described as a Umbrum, a pony who uses shadow magic, or a Kirin due to the fact that you have rage moments where you turn slightly darker. In true honesty I've never seen a hybrid of races like you. You're truly one of a kind." The woman said. I looked at her. "May I do something?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes you may but don't try to-" THUD! "...faint." //-------------------------------------------------------// Magic Lesson //-------------------------------------------------------// Magic Lesson "OH SH*T!" KABOOM! "Well that went....explosive..." I laid on a bunch of broken things as Twilight Sparkle rushed towards me. "Sorry!" Twilight said. I smiled as I got up. "No worries I've experienced worse." I said, rubbing my head, my hand sometimes bumping against my horn. "Why do I even need to learn magic? I could just copy a random teleportation spell and go home." I said. "Well all my spells come from my horn. We're going to have to develop your magic so that you can support the stress of using so much magic." Twilight said. I crossed my arms. "Let me try." I said. Twilight sighed. "Okay. We'll do a very simple spell. It's about coursing magic into your horn and producing light." Twilight said glowing her horn white. I nodded and closed my eyes. I tried to sense an aura coming off. I found it, but it felt different to the ones I copied. It felt more magical. I copied the Aura and tried to power the spell. My head started to hurt as I tried to maintain the magic in the tip of my horn. I started to yell as it turned out to be too much. "Stop it now! Stop it now!" Twilight yelled as she tried to stop me by shaking me but it was too late. The glow started to become larger and larger. KABOOM! "Ow...." I laid on the floor again, my head hurting like crazy. Twilight did a sigh of relief. "Luckily you did a magical burst before the magic was able to deal damage to yourself." Twilight said. She then frowned. "But that means mister that you'll be taking these magic classes!" Twilight grabbed me with her magic and placed me on a chair. I smiled. "Alright I'll take your classes." I said. Twilight again showed me the Light Spell and I copied it and this time didn't overpower it. "Your a fast learner." Twilight said. "Well in the meantime let's talk." I said as I sat down and concentrated on the flow bulb. "So let's start with the races. Can you explain all of them?" I asked. Twilight nodded. "So first is the Earth Pony race. They're the ones without horn or wings but have incredible strength. For example Applejack the one with the hat is part of a farming family for apples. Next is the pegasi race. These are the ones that control the weather usually and some have become fast fliers like Rainbow Dash. Then comes the unicorns, the race that could use the magic around them and form spells. Some of them were known to be very powerful. Finally is the alicorns, a unique race that combines all three tribes. And apparently you are one as well." "Hold up I can't be one of them. This so called Celestia said I was HALF- Alicorn!" I said. Twilight thought for a moment. "I guess eventually you'll master the form and become an alicorn permanently." Twilight said. I nodded, but during my nod I realized something repetitive. "What's that?" I asked, pointing to her skirt. The symbol was a purple star surrounded by other white smaller stars. Twilight smiled. "It's called a cutie mark." She said. I raised an eyebrow, struggling to sustain a laugh. "A cutie- cutie ma- AHAHAHA!" I couldn't continur containing it and I fell to the floor laughing. "Okay I respect the idea but couldn't they had named it something else?!" I said, before continuing to laugh. I then stopped. "What does it mean?" "Basically it represents ones talent. One usually gets it starting from 8 to 15." Twilight said. "So when you get your talent they paint a symbol on your clothing?" I asked. Twilight did a slight blush. "Well it actually appears one ones...flank..." Twilight said. I laughed. Oh this story is getting funnier by the second. She blushes from embarrassment a bit more. "And then it magically appears on other clothing." She said. She frowned a bit when she saw me continue laughing. "You do realize you have a chance of getting one as well on your rear." Twilight said. I faked a shocked look and the two of us laughed. "As if." I said. I panted as the spell began to fatigue me again . I powered it off. Twilight took down some notes. "What are you writing Twilight?" I asked. "I'm calculating your magical reservoir and potential. Since you just started, you start at 1. Considering the magical burst you made was roughly the same size I did years ago, you're now at 3.2. it's a high number for someone who just started." Twilight said. "Well we have a similar system. For every ability we calculate their potential and mastery to get the result. Even if both have the same ability and mastery, their potential can make a difference in where they land in the hierarchy." I said. "Pfft. 'Its just natural that the lowest fall under the order of the strongest.' Bullsh*t." "Anyways apart from your foul language, what was your level there?" Twilight asked. I sighed. "Honestly it's been two years since I last took that test. But I'll tell you my level. Wellston's King at his highest was 6.3 or something like that. My power two years ago was 7.0." I said, causing Twilight to be shocked a bit. "So you must be even stronger now!" Twilight said. I shrugged. "Probably. But I'm not into that stuff anymore. All I know is that I can copy any ability while increasing my own power. The only abilities I can't copy is ones that don't give off any aura. Those are mostly ones that skip time which means that they give off an aura but in a frozen place. Too quick to detect." I said. "Though what would a cutie mark that represented my ability look like?" I asked her. She shrugged. "I don't know." Twilight said. "I have a question. In your world do you guys control the weather?" "Apart from a few that have some weather related things but even so, we don't really control it. We just let it do whatever it wants." I said. She jotted it down. "So you don't control it at all?" Twilight asked. I shook my head. "So your world reminds me of the Everfree Forest. It's a forest where things happen by themselves..." "And it caused others to fear it?" I asked. Twilight nodded. "When you live with something that you call normal and you see something that by your standards is not normal, you fear it." Twilight explained. I nodded. "So Nightmare Moon, I never got to know her better. Who was she?" I asked. Twilight lifted up a book. "A long time ago, Nightmare Moon was known as Luna, sister to Celestia. Celestia would raise the sun and Luna raised the moon..." "But because many sleep in the night, she got jealous and turned into Nightmare Moon and tried to purge the world into darkness right?" I asked. Twilight looked at me. "It sounds like a you lived this story before." She said. "Well being violent by nature and being a person with logic I was able to figure it out." I said. Twilight frowned again. "Please stop acting so negative. What's in the past stays there." Twilight said but I shook my head. "Whenever I close my eyes, sometimes I can still hear that girl saying that I am a monster." I said. Twilight's ears lowered. "And in truth...I was...and I still am." I flickered my ability, forming a spear of shadows. I cancelled it, causing it to disappear. Twilight sighed. She shook her hair from her face. "Anyways....time to levitate! Twilight said but with less enthusiasm. For the remainder of the day she would teach me how to think of me grabbing a object while coursing magic. I would grab it but then place too much force and send it crashing into the ceiling. "You have a lot of potential in heavy magic..." Twilight said at the end of the day. "...but you need to get the proper amount of magic in to prevent it from flying." Twilight handed me a rock to practice with. "Will do so." I said. "I'll be going home..." "What do you mean home?" Twilight asked. "Oh that old castle. I'm calling it home for now. See ya." I said, walking away, only for Twilight to grab me "I can't let a friend live in such place. Stay here while I try to find a proper place for you!" Twilight said. I shook her off. "Thanks but I don't want to bother you." I said. She spoke again. "Please. I insist. That's what friends do. Take care of each other." She said. I sighed before placing a smile. "If you insist." I said. Twilight cloned a bed and adjusted it's size for me. I laid down on the bed. "Comfortable?" "Yeah it is. Thanks Twi." I said. I realized that I have her a nickname. Just like I call Seraphina 'Sera' I just called her Twi. She smiled. "You're welcome." Twilight said. She was about to leave until she said something else. "Oh and if a purple baby dragon tries to attack you calling you an intruder, that's Spike my pet and friend dragon. Don't worry about him." She said. "Will do Twilight. Will do." I said as I got comfortable. I looked at the cieling. I sighed. Don't worry Sera... I'll come back... Author's Note Like Comment, Share and Subscribe. "How the fu- nevermind about that...WHY WERE YOU ON MY BED ON TOP OF ME?!" I yelled. The pink girl hugged me. "There! Your first part of your daily treatment!" The pink girl smiled. I just looked at her. "The fu-" I suddenly had a cupcake stuffed into my mouth. It tasted sweat but I was too distracted by the fact that she was invading my privacy! "Okay ...who the fu-" "Call me Pinkie Pie!" The girl said. I stared at her again. "Okay...but that still doesn't explain why you were in my bed shield I was sleeping! Answer me! What were you doing while I was sleeping!" I yelled. Honestly I was more worried that they were experimenting me than anything else. Hey! I am something UnOrdinary! See that word play there? "Waiting for you to wake up to give you your medicine for depression of course silly!" Pinkie said, bouncing again. "So nobody was experimenting on me?" I asked. "Nope! The only thing I was experimenting was which cupcake flavor you would like." Pinkie Pie said. "And how were you able to guess it?!" I asked. Pinkie smiled. "Easy! Randomly guessing!" Pinkie Pie said. I sighed. "Okay Pinkie Pie. It did taste good but could I please have you go out of my room so I can prepare myself for today?" I asked. Pinkie Pie smiled. "Of course!" And then she suddenly disappeared. What the... "Oh so you met Pinkie right?" Twilight asked as she entered my room and saw the mess that Pinkie made. I nodded. I then looked at her. "Does Pinkie hug you because of depression?" I asked. She shook her head. "Nope. She hugs me for my 'friendship treatment'." She said, sighing. "But please drop that face of yours if you want her to stop." I sighed. "I'll try..." "Hey Twilight!" "Oh no...." Twilight said before she was knocked over by the same pink blur. "There! Your daily friendship treatment!" Pinkie Pie said. She then looked at me. "Meet me at Sugarcube Corner!" She said before disappearing in a blur "Does she use this treatment thing to secretly harass us?" I asked. Twilight frowned at me. "John what is with you and VIOLENCE. Why would you think that Pinkie Pie would do such thing?!" She yelled. I shrugged. "Well I used to be violent and considering that I'm UnOrdinary to you girls I don't know what outcome it will bring." I replied calmly. Twilight sighed. "You practiced your magic with the rock I gave you?" Twilight asked. I nodded as I levitated the rock with my horn. "Without your ability?" She added. I groaned and cancelled my ability, making me have a more difficult job stabilize it but eventually it was up in the air. Twi smiled. "You're improving at an astonishing rate. I might have to teach you another spell soon." She said. I nodded. "Can you take me to Sugarcube Corner?" I asked, wanting to get this over with. Twilight nodded. "I'll take you there." She said while we went downstairs. When we got outside I saw a bunch of colourful people, or ponies, or anthro poni- oh you get the point, walking outside. We waved at each other as we went by. Some looked at me and my horn and wings, others passed by me without noticing, others looked at me, studying every move I made. "So this town is called what?" I asked to Twilight as we walked the dirt roads. "Oh this is called Ponyville." Twilight said. I raised an eyebrow. "Yes our nation uses a lot of puns. Equestria, Canterlot, Cloudsdalle, Las Pegasus, Fillidelphia, Manehatten, ya get the drill?" "Most of those cities sound somehwst similar to ours. Manehatten for Manhattan, Las Pegasus for Las Vegas. Fillidelphia for Philidephia, yeah. Nice puns there." I commented. We got to a house that looked like a Gingerbread house. "Is that...?" "Sugarcube Corner." Twilight said. I saw in the distance a pink girl jumping up and down, before she suddenly got in front of us. "Hey John!" She yelled, I nearly tripped into her as I lost balance and fell backwards. "What in the world Pinkie Pi-" I was yet again stuffed by another sweet cupcake. "Okay actually Pinkie stop interrupting me." I said. Pinkie Pie smiled "Let's go eat some sweets!" Pinkie Pie said as she dragged me inside. When we went inside I realized that the place looked way bigger on the inside than the outside. I suddenly felt a hand and turned around only to be stuffed by another cupcake. I then saw Pinkie making more cupcakes "So you run this place?" I asked, looking for Twilight for support. She shrugged at me. "Well I'm both manager and employee so it depends." She said. I noticed the three balloons on her clothes. "What's your special talent?" I asked. She smiled. "Well I could tell my story on how I got my cutie mark but we'll just be repeating it a few months later when the CMC want to know about how we got our marks but in a nutshell I'm a party planner and my sole Mission is to make others happy!" Pinkie said. I slowly nodded. "Okay..." I said. "But what about the randomness that comes with you?!" "Well that's who I am! Pinkie Pie the random pony! Oh look! My pet alligator!" She said presenting me a green alligator with purple eyes. "Okay so she's clearly mentally unstable..." I whispered to myself. Twilight frowned at me again. "I'm currently planning a 'Welcome to Ponyville John and thank you for helping us defeat Nightmare Moon!' party! It will be so much fun!" Pinkie Pie said. "Pinkie I don't think a party would be necessary-" "Oh come on John! Have some fun!" Pinkie Pie said. I sighed "Okay. Fine. I'll go there." I said but the girl wanted me to do something more. "Pinkie Pie Promise!" She said. I sighed. "Okay. How do you say it?" I asked. "Cross my heart hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye!" Pinkie Pie said. "Now you do it!" For some reason this world has so much similarity to mine. I forced a smile, but it got more natural by the second. "Cross my heart hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye." I said. Pinkie Pie smiled "Great! See you later alligator!" Pinkie said before hopping away. I looked at her in confusion. "She's basically the being that breaks physics right?" I asked. Twilight nodded. "Yes she is." We spent the rest of the day training in magic. Twilight Sparkle seeing that I've mastered levitation taught me a new spell. "So there's a technique to make Sparks. It's time that you practice that." Twilight said. I nodded. Twilight started to form Sparks on her horn. I tried to do the same but only resulted in more headaches. For the next two hours I practiced sustaining the pressure in my horn while simultaneously releasing the magic. It was very complicated. Easy to see, harder to do. Eventually I got the hang of it. It was 6 PM. "Time to go." Twilight said. I sighed. "Okay. Let's get this over with." I said as we walked to the sweet shop. "Why you're so down John?" She asked. I stopped. "Everything would've been better if Seraphina were here. That way I know that she wouldn't have to be running away and fighting for her life back home. Things are more fun with Sera." I said. Twilight nodded. "So you miss your friendship with her right?" She asked. I nodded. "Looks like you two were really close together then." I did a heavy sigh. "Don't worry. We'll help you return home. For now try to release that stress you have and have fun." Twilight said. I smiled. "I will." We entered the store only to find it dark and empty. I already knew what was about to happen. "SURPRISE!" "The sound of all the residents in Ponyville yelling that word so loud caused Twilight to be flipped backwards towards the door. I looked at her. "Well that's gotta hurt." I said as I lifted her up. Pinkie suddenly came up to me. "Let's party!" She yelled before she pulled me into a nearby conga line. I couldn't just help but see that this party was designed for kids. Well considering everything is colorful it made sense for this world. Still I quite enjoyed the party no matter how silly it was. Various child games were used but in my opinion, it was as fun as any other party. I've never actually went to any party really. I mostly hanged out with Sera instead of partying so this was actually a good first experience for me. After everything began to calm down I talked to Pinkie. "Thanks for the party." I said. Pinkie nodded. "Your welcome! I knew that this was your first so I wanted to make it worth it!" She said. I looked at her. "Okay how do you know so much of these things?!" I asked. Pinkie smiled. "Well one because I'm random and two because I saw your face. I know you miss her but my mission is to make you happy. And I won't stop until you're happy!" Pinkie said, hugging me. "And there's your night dose for the treatment!" Pinkie said. I laughed. "Thanks Pinkie." I said, already feeling a friendship bond with her. It was strange. Here you could make instant friends without worrying about the hierarchy seperating it. I already made friends with Twilight and now Pinkie. It felt nice having more friends and knowing this place, real friends that won't betray you. "You're welcome!" She said before handing me a cupcake. "Now let's not let this all go to waste!" She said. I smiled. "Okay!" I said, eating the cupcake. It tasted good. I smiled. I felt happy. I felt like I was more and more at home than ever. //-------------------------------------------------------// Rarity //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Note that I might get some character personality wrong. Please correct my error. Like Comment and Share Rarity "Here's your medicine!" "WTF PINKIE!" I yelled as I was suddenly hugged by Pinkie, causing us to fall onto the floor. I had just woken up and gotten ready for another day when this pink tornado called Pinkie assaulted me with today's morning hug. Pinkie yet again began to bounce on top of me. Thank goodness that I follow this world's logic or else I would've recieved multiple fractures. "So how was your day?" Pinkie asked, finally jumping off of me. I laughed. "Oh it was great...until I somehow found myself on the floor!" I yelled. My roar did not affect her in any way somehow. Instead she continued to be herself. Random. Twilight entered the room and saw Pinkie Pie jumping around and me on the floor. Twilight did a light sigh. "Well there's nothing I can do but let you stay with Pinkie." Twilight said with a smirk. In desperation I somehow grabbed her with my aura with a hint of magic and pulled her over. "Well that's new." She commented. "Please get me out of here. Isn't there any friend you have that I can hang out with?" I asked. Twilight thought and looked at my clothing. "Well with your fight with Nightmare Moon your clothes seem pretty ripped. I think you should go to Rarity's store to get some new ones." Twilight said. I nodded. "Alright!" I said, happy that I won't have to be looking everywhere in fear of the Pink Tornado. Not that I couldn't defeat her, but I rather not use my ability against her. Basically it was me the cripple again with the Mane 6... Because I didn't want to hurt them... Again. So it was me, Twilight and Pinkie strolling down Ponyville town as we went to Rarity's Carasoul Boutique or something like that. Living up to its name it actually looked like a Carasoul and with it's decorations and such, a Boutique. I knocked onto the door, hearing noise on the other side. "Just a minute darling I'm finishing up a dress here." A voice said. I knew too well that it was probably Rarity. The door opened to reveal Rarity, who was Currently wearing a purple dress that matched her hair. And like Pinkie and Twilight she had her own unique cutie mark, three light blue diamond "Oh hey John! What brings you here?" She asked in her British accent or whatever top class accent she uses. She looked at my ripped clothes. "Why that won't do! Come with me and I'll make you some new ones." And with that she forced me into her store. I looked around and saw various dresses, suits, clothes, every type of fabric hanging around, their beauty gleaming with the sun's reflection. "Wow. This place looks awesome." I commented. She smiled as she brought out the measuring tape. "Thank you darling. Now stand still so I can measure you." She said. Using her magic she levitated the tape and manipulated so that it could curve around my body. After finishing she immediately began to sketch some ideas. "So what's your preferences?" Rarity asked, levitating me a seat to sit down. "Honestly I never really had a type. What I'm wearing now is my current school's uniform." I said. Rarity frowned. "Then your school really doesn't have a taste. Just looks to plain. Maybe with vibrant fabric it would've worked swell but anyways what is your preference?" She asked. I signaled her to give me her sketch book and she happily complied. I began to sketch two of my clothing types I had in my old school. "Well this was my two clothing types in my old school." I said, showing her two clothing types. Rarity looked over it. "You have a taste for sweaters, but the color combination could've been more better. Maybe a bit more vibrant again." Rarity said, grabbing some fabrics. "Which one do you like?" She asked. I looked over them. I sighed "I really don't have a taste." I said. Bad mistake. Suddenly I was in her grip in the air. "How can you say you don't have a taste?! Everyone does!" Rarity said, ready to go into a stage I didn't wanted to see. "Well I'm not ordinary. I'm UnOrdinary." I said. Rarity's eyes began to twitch. Oh no. Not another one with a mental problem. To save my skin I quickly looked at some fabrics. Unfortunately it was the same thing. Everything just looked the same to me. I then thought of something. "How about you decide what I should wear and at the same time bond our friendship, okay?" I asked. Rarity seemed to calm down. "Of course! That's actually a perfect plan!" Rarity said as she grabbed some fabrics and began to make some new clothing for me. "So lets see. What color was your ability again?" She asked. I lit up my eyes, shadows forming around me. She thought for a moment. "Light fur, Black mane and aura, golden eyes....hmm I might be getting somewhere." Rarity said. I powered off my ability. "What does your cutie mark represent?" I asked. Rarity smiled as she recalled her memory. "Well there was a clothing competition when I was young and so I wanted to make my clothes look fabulous. After being pulled by my own magic I found myself in front of a rock. The rock suddenly broke in half and I found a treasure of precious jewels, and so my cutie mark represents my talent of finding gems and being a fashion designer." Rarity said as she continued working on my clothes. "So when did you get your ability?" Rarity asked. "I'm actually a late bloomer. I got my ability in Middle School compared to others who already got theirs earlier. You saw my battle with Nightmare Moon and how I copied and improved her Energy Sword. That's what I do. I can combine multiple abilities for an deadly combo or I can amp any ability that is within my range. Only problem was that they last only for a time. Either ways I'm good at hand to hand combat and always have a amp ability in my hand, making me unstoppable." I said. Rarity nodded. "So in theory if any villain appeared, you could defeat them?" She asked. "As long as I have abilities in my hand, I can." I answered. Rarity smiled as she presented me some new clothes. "Do you like these?" She asked me. I looked. She was presenting me a golden colored shirt, black pants and a black and gold sweater. I whistled. "Wow. You actually did it." I said. She smiled. "Anything for a friend." She said. "That's why I'm the element of Generosity." I raised my eyebrow. "What did I miss before and after?" I asked. Rarity smiled as she began to tell me about how she met Twilight, their trek towards the castle, and how they realized that they were the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony, six gems capable of defeating any villain using the power of Friendship. I laughed. Considering that this world is a peaceful one and a friendly one, it would make sense that their weapon of destruction was friendship. Actually it would never make sense to my world but in this world it does. "Hmph. Your world always surprises me." I said smiling. She smiled back. I then asked a question. "Is there any job I can take on?" I asked. Rarity shrugged. "Usually our cutie marks define who we are and what position we take. Who knows, maybe your place in this world is to save if from destruction!" Rarity said. I sighed "I hope it is." I said. Memories filled my mind again. I'm no hero. I'm a violent maniac who thinks only for himself. //-------------------------------------------------------// Spike //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Like Comment and Share Spike I woke up with a figure yelling at me as it hit me with a ruler. "INTRUDER!" I Instantly fell onto the floor as the figure continued to assault me. I aimed and fired a Explosion Spear, causing him to quit his rampage. "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" I yelled. The figure picked himself up and I realized that he was a dragon. An anthro dragon to be exact. The dragon seemed to enjoy relatively young, maybe around 10 years, 13 at Max give or take. He wore a black sweater that covered from his neck down to his legs. He pointed at me with his ruler only to realize that it was broken. He showed his fists and got into a boxer position. "I know how to fight!" He said. I rolled my eyes and decided to play along "Then come and get me." I said, smiling. The dragon kid leaped at me and extended his arms. The only thing I had to do was to down-strike on his neck, which effectively stopped him. He slowly got up. "I can breath fire!" The dragon said as he roared, forming a green fire. I smiled as I placed up my barrier. It effectively did nothing to me but since the dragon was fire-proof, it also did nothing to him. I frowned at him. I heard some rapid steps coming from the other room where Twilight was and then she entered my room where she saw me and Spike. "Spike! Explain yourself!" Twilight yelled, surprising me that she hadn't gone over to me to yell at me. The dragon kid stammered knowing that he was in trouble. "I found this intruder so I was beating him up until he woke up and countered back!" Spike said. Twilight frowned. "Well shouldn't he have to be snooping around then?" Twilight asked. Spike said nothing. "He's our guest!" Twilight yelled. "Don't you realize that this is the guest room?!" "Oh..." Was his only reply. I chuckled but then Twilight came up to me next. "You didn't hurt him did you?!" Twilight said. I did a nervous laugh because you never want Twilight to get mad at you. "Apart from the karate chop on his neck, nope." I said. Before she went into a more angrier form I stopped her. "It was only to temporarily phase him." I said. Twilight looked at both of us. "How about you two do a little friendship bond as a way to get to know each other better and to NOT try to kill each other accidentally next time." Twilight said. I shrugged "Fine with me." I said. Spike began to go downstairs. "Let me prepare the food." He said. I raised my eyebrow. "So he cooks?" I asked. Twilight nodded. "Doesn't that seem a bit too much on him?" I asked. "Well he's more like an assistant but over time he placed on himself that load." Twilight said. I raised my eyebrow in disbelief. "Okay I may had done some things with that, but honestly he's happy about serving m- I mean helping me!" Twilight said doing and embarrassed laugh. I rolled my eyes. "I'll help him cook." I said. Before Twilight could say something else I was already going downstairs. I saw Spike wearing that cooking clothes moms usually wear and I couldn't do anything but laugh a little. Spike rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah. Go ahead and laugh at me." Spike said. I shook my head and laughed as I came to his side. "Hey let me help you." I said as I picked up a nearby box. "Sunnyside Eggs?" I said. Spike nodded. "Yep. Also give me that pancake box." He said. I threw at him one thinking he'd catched it. Instead it hit him in the face and he fell off his stool. "Ow...." Spike said as he rubbed his head. I came up to him. "You okay?" I asked as I helped him get up and picked up the pancake flour. Spike scarcastically laughed. "Oh course I am! It's not like every single day this happens!" Spike said, a bit frustrated. I sighed as I got to his level. "Well at least you don't have to fear for your life, running away from powerful people who want to put you in your place by beating you up." I said. Spike looked at me in shock. "You had that life before?!" He said. I nodded. "Even though I have an incredible power, after a certain chain of events I'd rather like to forget, I decided to power myself to the lowest point in society, a cripple, a person with no ability. I actually convinced myself so well about being ability-less that I'd practically became a cripple. Unfortunately I didn't leave my attitude I had as King before in another pl-" "You were a King?!" Spike said. I stopped him before he could begin bowing at me. Apparently there's only such thing as Princess or Prince in this world. Saying I was King meant I was above them all. "No Spike. In each school there's a King and Queen which are decided based on their power. I was the King of my old school before moving into a new one where I played as the lowest because I choose to." I said. "But why lower yourself into a position where you can get beaten up? Why do all of that?" Spike said as he made the pancakes. I sighed. "Sometimes when a person who had been violent suddenly sees the damage he does, they begin to wish to either experience it as a way to pay them back, or to never get into that position where they had the power to do that violence ever again. I choose both of them." I said. My ears suddenly perked up as I sensed a nearby aura behind the door. I frowned. I suddenly had the most epic idea yet. I motioned Spike to come with me and we silently got to the door. I signalled him 3....2....1.... "SURPRISE!" "Ah!" *Oof* When we opened the door I thought Twilight was out of the swinging range. Unfortunately the door opened the opposite way anyhow and Twilight was right in front of it, her ear pressed against it, so when it was opened she was sent tumbling. Both of us looked each other nervously. "Run." I began to think. "RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!" We began to instantly run right when Twilight began to send rays of magic towards us. "YOU TWO ARE IN FOR A BEATING!" Twilight roared as she fired beam after beam. "It's not our fault that you were spying on us and that you were in front of the door!" I yelled as we ran for our lives. "Can't your use your ability?! Use that shield thing!" Spike yelled. I shook my head. "No! That's no ordinary shield it's a reflective shield! It'll hurt Twilight and make her even more angrier!" I yelled. "Then what now?!" Spike yelled. "WE RUN!" I yelled as we ran from her in a attempt to save our lives. Eventually.... "Well that was fun...." Spike commented later as we all ate. I nodded as I savoured the food. "It kind of was. Sera was right. There's some type of thrill in these situations when you're running away for your life." I said. Twilight nodded. "Well then I hope you two had some fun then cause now you'll be helping me place in order ALL the books that fell." Twilight said. Both of us sighed. "Yes Twi/ Yes Master." Spike and I said. They all looked at me. We all went into a series of laughter at my comment. After washing the dishes me and Spike went to where all the books were and began to reorganize them. "So this is what you do everyday?" I asked. Spike nodded. "Yeah. You get used to it soon." Spike said as I threw him a book where he was. He nearly fell of the ladder for the hundreth time right now. "Hm.... Is there any book about magic?" I asked. Spike nodded. "There's plenty but honestly I don't know where it is right now. We'll get it after we finish this organization." Spike said before gasping. "Hey look! A comic!" Spike said as he threw me a comic. I rolled my eyes. "Seriously? Bat-mane?" I said. "Your world really needs some help with not using puns." I said. Spike laughed. "Well from it looks like...YOU come from a comic!" "And your world looks like it came from a girls cartoon show!" I said. Both of us laughed together. Spike then asked me a question. "Can you teach me?" He asked. I raised my eyebrow. "In what?" I asked. "Can you train me in hand to hand combat?" He asked. I smiled. "Of course. So the most effective way to fight is by countering your enemy attacks like this...." I said as I began to teach him everything I knew about fighting. The young kid soon got the hang of it and soon I began to train him to fight in any situation. "Blades of Wind!" I yelled as I crossed my arms and formed two dark blades. Spike slide below them and we caught each other in a punch, our fists connecting. He followed up with a spinning kick and I blocked with my other arm. The area around us was being demolished around us. Luckily it was an empty deserted place so nothing was being destroyed. Twilight who was protected by her shield came to inspect us. "How about we heat things up?!" Spike yelled as he blew upon me green flames. I dodges to and formed two fire balls and launched them at them. He was surprised when they began to blow up and he quickly jumped out of the way. "Hey I've never shot fire from my hands!" Spike said. I powered down my aura. "You'll soon be able to." I said, coming up to him. "I will?" He asked. I nodded. "Well if you train you can. Everything I do is just a amped version of the original one meaning that if one mastered their ability they could do what my amped ability did." I said. Twilight came up to me. "You two fought really well. I think I would like to have you train Spike in self defense. Do you want to try John?" Twilight asked. I smiled. "Fine with me." I said. Spike smiled. "Thanks John! Now I might actually have a chance to prove myself to Rarity!" Spike said. Twilight laughed. "Oh Spike...." Twilight said. All I thought at the moment was why and how Spike fell in love with a girl maybe ten years older than he is. Eh. This world always surprises me. //-------------------------------------------------------// ... //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Hello. This is the author. Now remember I said when I began that I may do some thing wrong (as it takes a hard time to go back and forth from Webtoon App and Chrome a bunch with other stuff)? Well here it is. Shout-out to "I love life', the one who currently has a Spitfire profile pic if there's more than one by that title for pointing out a crucial part of John that neither I or the other viewers noticed. (This has been edited in it's production. Now two people, both the one I first mentioned and Shiro Shigo If I'm not mistaken noticed this problem) First of all, when I played out that John told the Mane 6 about his past, I thought that it was logical that after so many traumatic memories of both past and present and Nightmare Moon's battle going literally after Arlo's battle he would've broken. Well...no. It might be possible, but very unlikely. This is because when Sera came back, John instead of explaining to her what happened, he tries to hide it. Even after saying "don't look at me", after Sera asks him what happened, he says nothing about it and tries to divert the subject. Maybe two traumatic fights in a row might've done it, but it's unlikely. Plus...would either side trust each other? Well for now John had not seen the unicorn snobs of Canterlot (with the exception of few who come from Canterlot). Now here's a question: would John begin to slowly part himself from them once he realizes their true past and present? Probably yes. Now you can disagree but pony tribes fighting for who's best and unicorn snobs might sound a little too familiar to his own world, so this is a possibility that he may part himself the least. And while John hadn't dealt the final blow to Nightmare Moon who was defeated by the Mane 6 who used John's distraction as a way to power up, I think having a stranger with a power maybe equal to Celestia should've had made them uneasy and with John telling his past, more. I placed the Mane 6 as understanding and compassionate as it seems like that's what they do. They're the team of friendsh- Well technically they're still getting to know each other. Sure this is MLP where instant friends are made supposedly but in reality I think this whole thing would've taken longer. So later we'll probably see a John who begins to doubt that this friendship is real later. It should've been something in the beginning but I messed up. Or maybe not! So check out ' I love life' 's comments which are number 41 and 43. Like, Comment and Subscribe And note that I suddenly became busy so I concentrating less and work less. :( ... "Monster." Oh no not this again. The same memory that tormented me again, the same one who reminded me of who I was, appeared in my sleep. It began as always. Me facing Claire, her army defeated. She was on the floor. I laughed, but not with my current voice. No. It was my younger voice. "You should've known that this would happen." I said, though not willingly. My mouth said one thing, but my mind said something else. No! Make it stop! But I had no control over my actions. It was a memory. I tried waking myself up, but I couldn't. I was not in control of myself. My memory version walked up to Claire and started to yell. "I trusted you!" My younger voice yelled, tears going down my cheeks. In this memory, I had no control over any actions. I could only just repeat what had been in the past. AND I HATED IT! Memories started to pour inside my head. At the top of a rooftop I was grabbing a boy by his neck "REPEAT WHAT YOU JUST SAID!" I yelled at the boy, not letting go of my grip of him, instead contracting harder his neck. The boy's voice was barely audible. "I heard it! John please listen to me! Claire was using you as a tool to go high! She predicted that the Jack would take the King's place, which she said was you and now as we speak she's gathering as many people she can to dethrone yo-" WACK! My hand slapped his face as I yelled at him. "Then do you know know who I am?! I'm the King of this place! They're nothing compared to me! Are you doubting my power?!" I yelled. The boy tried to place a serious expression but all I saw was fear. "John I had been with you since day one! You've gotta stop this madness! Stop trying to make excuses to beat everyone up or you're going to lose it all!" The boy said before I knocked him cold. "Lose it all?" I said, scoffing. "They'll be the one who will lose it all!" I said. The world began to turn as I got back to a fight, this time with Alro. "ARLO!" I yelled as I used my ability, rage going through my veins. Darkness surrounded me as I pushed the rest with my aura and wind. I was enraged. Or more better said in my memories I was enraged. In truth I was still angry at Alro. I blame him and his idea of society for everything that happened that happened. I began to beat up the three of them, brutalizing the one with Wind and causing that girl to fall from a huge height and preventing her friend from saving her. I then engaged Alro and also began to brutalize him. More memories poured in, rage building up in my sleep. They're nothing! They're not worth anything! "You're a hypocrite!" I froze in my rage when I spun around, seeing Remi. Though I haven't lived this memory, it felt like I did. I grabbed the dream version of her my her shirt. "What did you say?!" I yelled, anger burning through my eyes. "You know you're the strongest! And instead of fixing the problem yourself, you concealed yourself for two years!" Remi yelled. "If you had just done something, Seraphina wouldn't had been hurt at all!" Remi yelled. I froze, letting go of my grip as I heard another voice. "Why John?" I turned around and saw Seraphina. Her badly injured form reminded me of when I saw her after she was captured and beaten up by those mid tiers. I looked in shock before falling on the floor, shocked and mad at myself. "You had the power to save me....and yet you do nothing...." Seraphina said, her voice cracking as she was very injured. Memories of me casually continuing to tell her about me being ability-less appeared. "I-i......" My voice was shaking. She was right. Everyone was right. I was truly a monster. I used every excuse I had to brutalize people, whether I had a good reason or not. And when I had the power to do something.... ....I did nothing. Many had suffered... ...because of me..... The Princess of the Night strolled through the endless hallway of doors, each leading to a different dream. This is one of the ways she was able to enter dreams. Another way was just by feeling them around her, each dream confined into a bubble. Every so often she felt a disturbance in the Dream World, which meant a Nightmare was going on. After receiving this signal, Luna would be going and checking these dreams. But that was thousands of years ago, before she became Nightmare Moon. Her body was still in her more younger alicorn form, without much of that majestic power. There really was no explanation to why that happened. Even if somehow they get zapped of their magic, they should've retained their eternal form, not revert back to their younger selves. Maybe it had to do with stability and that Luna had to regain that stability over her magic after the fight? Anyways, with some persuasion from Celestia to begin returning to her pre-Nightmare Moon job, the ruler of the night did as told. Honestly she was quite surprised that for what seemed like hours to her, there hadn't been a single nightmare, even though their dreams had been watchless since millennium. Had Celestia done that job for her as well? Luna's ears suddenly perked as she felt a disturbance. She closed her eyes, using her magic to whizz the doors at a astronomical rate, until she stopped at the source. She opened her eyes, the door's color being black and gold. Black and gold.... Luna started to feel uneasy. Even though she tried to figure out who the door belongs to, being it revelatively new, she already guessed who it was before even thinking about it really. Luna touched the door, but she did not exert any force to open it. So far, John had been opened a lot with his past. He named a list of atrocities that he committed, similar to what Nightmare Moon did but on a somewhat smaller scale. But knowing that she herself probably wouldn't had told that information that quickly, she knew he was probably going through emotional distress and such. His battle with her probably broke him down emotionally. Now everypony whenever they had a nightmare would enjoy having Luna with them. Or more better said that they used to enjoy having her with them. After all, she used to calm them down and eliminate what caused them to be in the state a fear. Of course this was before the Nightmare Moon thing. Problem was that John was not from this world. Was there someone who watched their dreams? After all they did had people with abilities. But what if watching their dreams would be a form of invading privacy? Privacy wasn't really much of a big deal in terms of Nightmares, but Luna started to feel uneasy. Invading his privacy without his consent might bring him to distrust them. But here she was, called because he was suffering a Nightmare. What's the worst that could happen? "After all... I am going to help him." Luna said to herself, before forming into a must and entering. And thus Luna had a first row seat at seeing John's backstory... ... In it's full color, both black and white. And a hint of red.... Luna stayed frozen, not moving. She could sense John breaking down from this dream. While his actions said one thing, out of the corner of his eye she could see fear, agony, defeat. Unfortunately she was tangible with this dream world, and so she accidentally stumbled upon something, causing a crash to be heard. "Oh no...." Luan said as she saw John spinning around. CRASH! "What the fu-" I said, miracously taken out of my memory trance. I turned around, my eyes glowing. I swore I saw something moving in the background. I started to move towards it's last hidden location, palm ready to fire a random offensive attack "WHO'S THERE?!" I yelled, anger pouring through me. The dream had taken its toll on me, and I was becoming more unstable by the second. "SHOW YOURSELF!" I ordered. There was a box in front of me. I suddenly kicked it, expecting to see someone there. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw a midnight blue mist moving. I spun and fired without thinking about it twice. The place exploded with black dust as debris flew out "Look at the cripple! He cant even aim!" A familiar voice said. I spun around and kicked in the face a boy with white face. "SHUT UP STONEBOY!" I roared as the dream version was reduced to dust, a memory. "HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE-" Another voice yelled, firing a red energy beam. They were all the same. Even if their real personality would never cause them to act like this, in here, everyone was my enemy. I formed a energy ball on all my fingers. "HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE F*CK UP!" I yelled as I beated Blyke for the tenth time in this dream hell. A random figure punched me in the face, causing me to tumble. A hand was extended out in front of me. "Let me help you..." A girl said. I looked and saw Claire....no wait...Remi? My vision was blurry, just when Remi was trying to helping me get up after I was bullied. But I learned something. "I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" I said, slamming the Remi/ Claire figure. I once again dodges a energy beam from Blyke, replaying that scene. "Wow. He somehow managed to piss both the Jack and Queen at the same ti-" A boy said, before I decked him. "WHO SAID YOU WERE PART OF THIS CONVERSATION!" I yelled as I began to repeatedly slam his head to the ground. I began to get surrounded by everyone. Every single person. From my childhood before I became King. From New Boston. From Wellston. To everyone I would ever meet. The authorities. The mid-tiers. The high-tiers. The ones I trusted but betrayed me. The ones I attacked for no reason. All of them surrounded me, each with their ability activated. They all collectively began to beat me up, while I could do nothing. "You're a monster that must be contained." "You're such a disgrace to hierarchy." "How does it feel having your back broken everyday John?" "I naively thought that your actions had a reason but the only thing you do is to find a reason to use Violence." "Why did you let me suffer when you could've done something!" "Alro was right. You are no fit to be a King." "You're pathetic!" "You're a hypocrite!" "You're nothing ...." Luna hid behind a broken wall. She could see John on the ground, currently doing nothing against his attackers. "Should I help him?" Luna asked to herself. She prepared a beam of energy, preparing herself to attack and defend John from the ones who were beating him up when suddenly a girl came up to John. She extended her hand as if to help him but then John bursted into a storm of shadows, everyone around him being thrown around. "I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" John voice yelled as he destroyed everything around him, accidentally blowing Luna's cover. Luna dropped into her shadow form right when John turned around. Unfortunately he saw the Swift movement of the shadow and began to take fire. Luna began to dodge each of his attacks, trying to find a way to safely get out of this dream without John later coming at her in the real world when he woke up. Sooner or later he'll be able to identify her aura and that won't end well. She continued to escape through the mass of people who hated John as she jumped from shadow to Shadow, with John following in pursuit, knocking down everyone. Right now he was in his stage where he just goes and attacks everyone without rhyme or reason. It reminded Luna of how she acted whenever she felt angry. Both of their powers would skyrocket, and right now John is actually catching up. Still in her shadow form, Luna teleported out of the way of a massive energy beam. Now a safe distance from John, Luna powered a gate and escaped out of John's dream. Luna panted outside of John's Dream. It had been quote intense and somewhat thrilling escaping John. If it were in different situation this encounter would've made Luna feel more alive than ever. But she sighed, seeing the internal pain John was suffering. But how would she be able to help him without him realizing that she was looking into his dream? She sighed as another call to enter and help another dreamer was detected. "Don't worry John.... I'll find a way." Luna said to herself before departing. //-------------------------------------------------------// Timeless //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Hello. As you may or may not know, I have another story about Plants vs Zombies in FiM so as you can guess... I'll be soon taking a break after this chapter to update the PVZ story. Don't worry I'll soon come back to this one soon. Also I have another story planned but it's not important as of now but this is just a heads-up for any late chapter postings. Also I need some help with maintaining character so any comments would've good. Like Comment and Share with others. Timeless I wonder how John deals with this every single day. I slowly started to get myself up, my legs shaking as I nearly fell down a bunch of times. My hands were covered in blood, some of them from me and some from the one I fought. When I said how it must've been thrilling running for your life and fighting everyone everyday to John at that cafe shop before this whole UnOrdinary Book fiasco even began, I actually meant it. Now I wished I never said that. Every single bone and muscle ached and hurt as I got up. Seeing how badly injured I was and that school has ended I decided to call her. "Sera! Are you okay?!" The familiar voice of our school's turf war healer was heard, since I rarely called her for anything other than to heal myself nowadays. "Well better than last time. Nothing broken I think. Just aching." I said. Truth was that I didn't know how badly I was in. Though considering that Stoneboy was relatively easy to John (and by relatively I mean that all his ability did was increase his strength and speed) it was probably nothing. "Nope! Stay right there! I'll be coming!" She said. "Elaine, I can easily get there. I'll be okay." I said, though with how my legs were shaking it would be kind of difficult. Before she could protest I hang up. I bandaged myself as best I could before I began my trek to the Girls Dormitory. "Oh if it isn't the Time Queen, back from another day of losing." A random girl said walking by. I ignored them as I went I side the building. Luckily for me I encountered nobody else, but I began to refocus my mind on what she said. The Time Queen. Long time ago, before meeting John, all I cared was perfection. But getting so involved in being perfect, it no longer felt like an achievement, it felt like something I HAD to be. I stopped living for myself, until John came and turned around my world, and I slowly began living for myself. But even still, there was something I thought would never be affected. My famous Time Ability. Back before I began to live for myself, and even still a few months ago, I possess a ability with the power of 8. I was a Time Manipulator. I could freeze my opponents or move to extreme speeds where time suddenly stopped. And best part was that if I ever got hit, I could rewind everything, now knowing the future, and properly deal with them. Not that in that time I needed to Rewind for that, I used it to make things look easy. In reality they were. One second everyone is standing, next is that they collaspe on the ground. In fact it was still part of me even after I began to live for myself. I was now happy. For the most part. Sometimes whenever I see John after a day of him getting beaten up, I wished that he had an ability of his own to use. If he's able to take somewhat take on mid-tiers with no ability, imagine if he had a real one! But I didn't think about ever losing mine. The injection. The blade. Getting kidnapped nearly twice. And having being told that I lost my ability for good. Once one of the most powerful people to ever exist, now reduced to nothing. At least John trained me to fight without my ability, but now I know ow what it's like getting beaten up every single day. I grabbed my phone, getting ready to call him when suddenly in the hallway Elaine ran up to me. "Seraphina!" Elaine cried out as she immediately began to check me. She frowned. "And you said you weren't badly injured?!" Elaine yelled. "Yeah I'm okay." I said, but I sensed Elaine already picking up many injuries. "You got broken bones everywhere!" She said before growling. "Why did you place so much faith in John! He's just a crippl-" When I first said those words, I actually meant it. John. We all thought he was nothing. A boy with no Ability. Worthless. But now we know the truth. All except for Seraphina and the rest of the school. When I first said that, Seraphina froze me in place with her ability. She said that the 'cripple' was her friend, and that it was none of my business. So I expected to receive the same response but with no ability. I suddenly felt my legs unable to move. I looked down in horror as I saw them turning grey. I looked up and I saw it. Seraphina's eyes were glowing. It was a faint glow at first, but as time passes and the numbness reach to my waist her eyes were fully glowing. "Don't speak to that to my friend." Seraphina said coldly. She stopped glowing and I fell to the floor. "You...you...." I stammered. Was it right to tell her that she was regaining her ability now or later? Seraphina looked at me waiting for my response. I tried to recover. "You.... You need to get healed!" I said as I began to heal her wounds. She of course caught my stammers and raised her eyebrow. "You were going to say something she right?" She asked. I shook my head by she pressed one. "Tell me." Her voice sounded both commanding and not. Even though she went through the hell of being beaten up which greatly lowered her self-esteem, she still maintained that high tier attitude she had before she lost her ability. I tried to make something up when suddenly my phone rang. Both of us looked at my phone. I raced to grab it and narrowly was able to hide whatever message or call that came before Seraphina was able to see. "Who is that?" She asked, looking at me and the phone like a hawk. I remembered when I accidentally (okay maybe I should've thought about how the school would react to me saying that Seraphina had read the book) caused Seraphina to be suspended because of a phone call with Alro and the other times I knew something from a text or phone call that Seraphina hadn't known. So I told her the truth. "I don't know." I said, before pushing her back into the couch. I resumed healing her, my mind still going around the fact that she had regained her power temporarily. She seemed to forgot about the whole phone thing by the time I finished and told her to just rest when she asked this question "So what's with this whole hating John thing?" She asked. I sighed. "Well it's actually Alro who really hates him. As subjects we follow his standards. He couldn't really stand it knowing that a high-tier befriended a cripple. Look where you started! The girl with the most powerful ability and who was perfect in everything slowly lowered herself to nothi-" I was starting to yell until I stopped myself. " Not that you're worthless like that crippl-" "No. You're right. As I am now, I am worthless." Seraphina said glooming. Great! Just HAD to break her heart! I sighed before resuming my attack on John. "Well if it weren't for him you'd never would've have found that book that would place you in this situation!" I yelled. "If you hadn't said anything it wouldn't had occurred either." Seraphina countered. I stood speechless. She was right. She sighed. "Either ways who was to know that the teddy bear was rigged with a tracker. They were bound to do the same thing, maybe even worse if I had been around you guys." She said. "If they could take down me, imagine what they could've done to the rest." She said. I nodded. "Yeah..." I said, before taking a look at my phone. The text message was from Arlo. Arlo: Whatever you do, do NOT let Seraphina try to use her phone to talk to John! I replayed the memory of what happened when Arlo began to attack John directly and indirectly. Faking to treat him like a friend, Arlo hated seeing the two together and thus did everything to hinder the pair from communicating, especially during her expulsion. This caused John to go crazy and actually injure Arlo. In reality I don't know anything other than John having the power to injure those two greatly and Arlo. What his true extent of power was I'll never know but listening to Alro might lead to things going down even further. "I said who texted you?" I literally jumped and began to sweat as I saw Seraphina who was right behind me trying to see what the message said. "Uhm... Alro was asking me about how you are after getting beaten up!" I stammered. Of course she wouldn't buy it easily. "Did you tell him about the fact that I was hurt just like when you saw that book I read?" She asked, though it wasn't like she was incriminating me, it was a question. I nervously nodded my head. "Yes I did." I said. She slightly frowned. "It's for your safety. Who knows what would've happened if another person had discovered the book and caused a bigger scene! All we think about is you!" I said. She scoffed. "Then why hasn't done anything to prevent any more incidents with me." Sera said, looking into the distance. "He's the King. He could force the rest to stop hurting the ones that can't defend themselves. Why continue something that only causes suffering?" She said. She then chuckles. "Maybe that whole UnOrdinary stuff is now entering my head a little too much." She said. "Maybe it is." I said, though not as jokingly as she did. Seraphina grabbed her phone and I saw the profile picture of John and his number. "Sera don't tell me that you're going to call that crippl- I mean your friend John right now! You just got healed!" I said. I didn't really want a repeat of what happened but I also didn't want to know what would happen if I did the contrary. Somehow Sera fumbled the phone, causing it to make some wierd noises before restarting itself. "It's Alro again right?" Sera said, this time not as happy as usual. "Uhm...." "Then I don't care." Seraphina said as she grabbed her phone. She scrolled down her contacts and raised her eyebrow. "What's wrong Sera?" I asked. Seraphina still looked puzzled. "I don't have John's contact anymore." Seraphina said. She then chuckles. "Good thing I actually took the time to not it down ..." Seraphina said, opening a nearby drawer, only to realize that all that was in it was a blank piece of paper. I started to get worried, the feeling that something wrong is happening or happened filled my mind. "Well good thing I memorized his number." Sera said as she began to dial the number. We waited in silence. "I'm sorry but the call that you dialed no longer exist. For questions please dial 1 371-384-2719" I could see that Sera was starting to get worried. She immediately began to dial said number. "Hello. How can we help you?" A man answered on the other side. "I was trying to call my friend but suddenly the phone answered that his number does not exist anymore." Seraphina responded. "Okay then. Tell us his number." As Seraphina began to retell John's number, an eerie silence filled both our room and on the other side. "So... Can you tell me what his new number is or something?" Seraphina said. On the other side silence answered for a full minute as the man left. He then came back, his voice shivering. "Miss.... I don't know how you were able to know such number... ... Because three years ago... ...was the last time that anyone called the boy's name... ... I can't say anything else." The man said. We both looked at each other in shock. Three years?! Is that even possible?! "What do you mean three years?! I just spoke to him yesterday!" Seraphina yelled,, obviously at what he said. She didn't believe him. I didn't either. And the man probably didn't either "It's classified. I would've told you if I could but I can't. Look him up. Try to find him. For this is a lost mystery." The man said. "You can call back if you want, but I don't know if I'll be able to answer again. Good day." And thus the phone hung up. Obviously Seraphina didn't believe in this and immediately reached for the door to go out and find John at his place. I grabbed her by the hand. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Maybe it was a misunderstanding!" I said, though deep inside I began to piece it together. 'classified' so the authorities have to be involved somehow 'look him up' that means that there must be more info about him. But then.... 'try to find him' 'its a lost mystery' John was missing somehow. //-------------------------------------------------------// Changes //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Welcome back readers to another chapter of Equestria's UnOrdinary Last time I said about making a chapter of PVZ but due to some sudden change of plans (like a weekend camping) I hadn't had the time to continue it. Besides I felt attracted to writing this crossover, so with that being said here is the next chapter! By the way, I also plan to make another project for a story soon which may interest you. More details on that once I'm more or less ready with that. If you want to send some ideas or fix some mistakes, you are free to share them in the comments section or in PMs. Like Share and Comment! Changes Walking towards school used to be easy. Everyday I strode through the hallways undisturbed. Nobody dared to bump into me. Nobody dared to be in way. In fact in some rare cases they wouldn't even dare look at me in the eyes. They would sometimes even bow down, for I was the strongest of them all. After the whole incident, everything changed. They pushed me. They tripped me. They even sometimes brutalized me. I was just a ordinary girl, with no power whatsoever. So it actually came to a surprise to me when I walked through the same hallway I walked through for years now when all of a sudden the people began to put a distance between themselves and me. I looked at a girl who was on the right side of the hallway right next to me. She began to furiously sweat, her eyes full of fear. "I-i-i.... I don't exist!" The girl said as she ran away as far away from me, disappearing at a curve. I raised my eyebrow. I then turned my gaze towards a boy who began to back away from me. He suddenly broke into a run as the other girl, sweating and shaking in fear. "I'm not worthy!" The boy said as he ran. I looked around, wanting ask questions when I realized that the hallways were empty. "Well at least I will be walking safely through the hallways then." I muttered to myself as I left towards class. Class had the exact same situation as the hallway did. The moment I walked into my homeroom, everyone suddenly stopped what they were doing and looked at me as I walked in. I stared back at them, raising my eyebrow in curiosity. What's with them and all of this staring? Apparently there were some who wondered this same question as students glanced at one another wondering why some were looking at me like that. "Uhm... why you're staring at me like that?" I asked, as I got comfortable in my chair. A young kid who I instantly recognized as one of those low-tiers who I trained came up to me. "Will you...?" "Okay there! Who gave you the right to speak to her! You're nothing but a cripple! Heck even us mid-tiers can't even look up to her!" A girl said. Then another boy interjected. "What's with all of you worshiping her? It's not like she a high-tier! She's a cripple!" The boy said. I sat in silence as I continued to watch them. The whole class began to divide itself as the girl punched the boy. "Don't talk to the queen like that!" The girl yelled. The boy with the help of his followers got up and glared. "Are you all outdated or something!? She's been ability-less since a long time!" The boy yelled. Soon eyes began to glow and I began to see the peaceful classroom turn into a full scale battlefield. Luckily before the battle began to focus on me being involved, I felt someone grabbing my hand. I looked back and saw Elaine motioning me to leave. I smiled and nodded as I left with her as the battle raged in the classroom. When we got into a safe distance I asked her the question. "Alright. I know Arlo must had told you something. Spill it now." I ordered. Elaine shrugged. "He never told me anything!" She said. I raised my eyebrow in disbelief. "Seriously! Nothing!" Elaine said. Suddenly a boy raced up to me. "Are you going to do anything about him?" The boy asked. I raised my eyebrow. "About whom?" I asked. "The Joker!" The boy said, peaking my interest. Time ago there were attacks by a so called Joker, such attacks which suddenly stopped. Those attacks never peaked my interest since I was a cripple, though with John telling me things would not change for us either way with Arlo or this Joker in charge, I was calm. But now they're asking me to do something about Joker? Unless... No it can't be possible! John... he can't possible be Joker! But then Arlo told me that John was Joker. But then he contradicted himself and said nothing. But then the time Joker's last attack happened was also the period I lost contact with John. But then why would the kid still talk about Joker? "Hello? Seraphina?" A person tugged by shirt. I glanced and saw Elaine. I sighed. "Let's just go." I said. We began to walk but the boy kept following us. "So you're going to let him run around like that?!" The boy yelled. I sighed as I looked to him. "Listen kid. Arlo or Joker it's just the same. It doesn't really matter who's in charge. The weakest always get beaten and the powerful fight for dominance. That's who things work here." I said. I thought for a moment. "Say what. As long as I'm here I'll protect you and the others from whatever ambush Joker does. One thing is going up the hierarchy, the other is beating up mercilessly those who you already know can't defend themselves. And the latter I don't accept anymore." I said. The boy smiled. "Thank you Seraphina!" The boy said before leaving. I sighed. "Elaine. I need you to find Arlo or John. I need to speak to them now." I said. All of this change. Some believing I actually have the power, which I don't have anymore, to defeat Joker. Others who seem to be behind the events and think I'm still the god-tier I was. And that text to stop me from communicating with John from Arlo, it annoys me like a tick. What's actually happening? Arlo was walking down the hallways when he heard someone running behind him. He turned and saw Isen coming up with a newspaper. "I think you're suspicion is becoming true." Isen said, lifting up the newspaper. Arlo read the title and became shocked, especially at the last part. "ROYALS BEING DETHRONED! WILL SERAPHINA BE THE LAST STAND AGAINST THE JOKER?" Arlo looked at Isen in shock. Isen nodded. "There's a bunch of other newspapers. I actually have a huge case on this. The original and these newspaper don't match. Time is becoming unstable!" Isen said. Arlo sighed. "It's not like we can do anything about it." Arlo said. "Joker is gone so there's no reason to worry about i-" "Alro you don't understand!" Isen yelled. He Instantly repented of yelling at the King and bowed. "Sorry Arlo. Can we take this somewhere else?" Isen said as they went into a private room. Isen sighed and began to present his evidence. "With John gone, that means that technically Seraphina never loses her ability to control time. But even with John gone, at any moment a remnant of him can appear. If he ever encountered Seraphina in a duel..." "...it may trigger a paradox that could endanger everyone!" Arlo exclaimed. Isen nodded. "Exactly! We can't let them get near to each other again! Not with this danger! In fact we can't even let her know that she even has her ability. Her activating it near Joker could release unforseen consequences!" Isen said. Arlo nodded. "Alright. Do whatever you can to not make that scenario happen. If Joker ever appears and begins to attack Remi, aid her from the sidelines, and notify me to engage as well. We're going to give everything we can to defeat him before Seraphina comes in." Arlo said. Isen nodded before leaving. "It's time." Cecile said as she help prepare a very dark a familiar character for the ultimate battle. "I know what Remi will plan. Even with our regained element of surprise, she'll probably have some back up somewhere. And while she won't be able to defeat me, both of us know that, she'll try to gain a smaller victory by unmasking me." The figure said with dark shadows around him. "So... The usual?" Cecile asked, her eyes glowing. The figure grinned. "Na I'll save you for later. Why don't we try to Zeke special..." The figure said, his eyes glowing gold. They also say that the the absence of light is darkness so that means... The speed of darkness is equal to that of the speed of light. Well that's just my theory. Why bring up this? Well when you're stuck with a bookworm named Twilight Sparkle, it starts to mess with your head. When I first started my magical lessons with Twilight, she told me to make a journal to write down every spell I learned, my daily experience, and just a diary. I originally rejected the idea of a diary, but I caved in and decided to make one, most of the time to let my mind go somewhere else and keep me sane. Why? This is the 15th day in Equestria. Honestly I hoped that someone would already be here to rescue me, but I already had the deep feeling that no one would come. Those who sent me wouldn't care about me and those who did care couldn't do anything to fix it. My amped ability was unique. The only one who could have a chance to replicate it would be the same woman or one with a similar ability. The chances of one of them or her using it again, reaching it's full potential, and using it to save me was unlikely. So yeah. Stuck in a land filled with ponies. Who are colorful. And intelligent. And smart. And are either strong, can fly, or use magic, or all three of them. And they are intelligent. And they can speak. And that they use the power of Friendship to win. And they can control the sun and moon. Did I say already that they could fly? BANG!!! "HEY OPEN UP! I'VE BEEN WAITING OUT HERE FOR HOURS NOW!" A series of flutters and an endless knocks on the window tormented me endlessly. I looked outside and saw Rainbow Dash, already preparing to tear through the window. I got up to the window and timed myself. I opened it, just when Rainbow Dash flew through it, causing her to continue flying until she slammed herself into the wall. Dazzed, she struggled to get herself up. I noticed she wore black gym clothing, as well as a red jacket, much like the one she wore the first time we encountered each other. "Why are you here?" I asked. I was a bit annoyed at her rudeness, but glad to have some other voice around here. Rainbow Dash threw at me a weight, which I easily caught. "Noticed that you're pretty tough, even without your special talent! You great in hand to hand combat! So let's see how well you fare against me!" Rainbow Dash said, grinning. I rolled my eyes. Piece of cake. "But you can't use your ability, at least not yet." Rainbow Dash said. "Gotta see how well you fare against me without that, otherwise it wouldn't be fair for me with your endless amount of attacks." She got out of the window and landed perfectly on her feet. I followed suit, but not wanting a repeat of the time in the castle by hurting myself somehow, I planned my path out and then jumped, grabbing or sliding off of some objects before landing on the ground. I laughed at myself. "Not the best I could do, but I learned my lesson from the castle." I said. Rainbow Dash smiled. "Race ya there!" She yelled before disappearing in a rainbow streak. Honestly I wonder how she could go that fast. Was she born that way? Are pegasi all fast like her? Or is she one of a kind? I gotta ask her later. I stretching my legs I tried to find a speed ability. While for some reason I couldn't sense her ability anymore, I did feel a new ability. Powering it up I felt a incredible surge of strength and speed pouring inside of me. I also felt another side of the ability so I powered on. I felt the strength and speed going away and dropping below my average, but also found that my defense and recovery had increased. A very strange but helpful ability. Powering back into Offensive Mode as I would call it I ran at the castle at incredible speeds, dodging trees and somersaulting and heaving myself up rocks and branches. I skidded to a halt as I saw Rainbow Dash waiting for me, her back against a nearby tree. Of course she thought I would take a long while, since she was incredibly fast. "Hello." Which was why she jumped into the air, stunned and shocked to see me here faster than what she expected. She yelped in surprise, causing me to laugh "Scared?" I said, chuckling. Rainbow Dash instantly frowned. "I am not!" The cyan pegasus said as she flowered herself to the ground. She showed her fists and did some practice punches. "Now get ready!" She said. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Okay! Give me your best!" I yelled. Rainbow Dash grinned before vibrating as fast as she could, creating a huge array of after images around her. She suddenly flew at me and punched me in the face. I staggered and slid backwards on the rough terrain. She followed up with another attack but using my hand I used her own momentum, just like in the guest room, to launch her into a tree. This time though she was able to bounce back from the tree, only to fall in my trap as I ducked under her and punched her stomach hard. She gasp and started to fall. Deciding to follow up I grabbed her and threw her up into the air. Unfortunately she was able to recover and hovered above me. "Now how will you be able to hit me!" Rainbow Dash laughed before diving down. Each time she swooped down to attack, I would try to hit her but she would always get out of reach before I did. She began to hit me with cheap shots, as her speed made it extremely difficult to see her, much less attack her. How will I deal against her? I thought to myself as I ducked another attack. I got an idea, similar to the one I used against Stoneboy as the doctor said. "Hey Rainbow! I bet you're so slow that you can't catch me and throw me into the air!" I yelled. Sure enough the cyan pegasus took the bait and tackled me. Grabbing me by my feet she towed me into the sky, higher than most clouds. "Oh you're going to regret saying that!" Rainbow Dash yelled, preparing to drop me. I smiled as I suddenly grabbed her by the wings, causing her to lose control. In the midst of her panic I forced her to let go of me. Before she can recover I grabbed her from behind, and so when we hit the ground, she fell face first, making my landing softer. I got off and saw her eyes roll around, a sign of dizziness. "I think I took this too far." I said to myself. Rainbow Dash began to get up, still dizzy. "No problem. Dealt worse than this...." Rainbow Dash said, before getting a bit angry. "BUT YOU DIDN'T HAD TO PUMMEL ME INTO THE GROUND!" She said. I smiled. "What's good of having speed or strength if you can't think rationally with it." I said, though I knew that I also lacked in that category whenever I raged and fought against others. Rainbow Dash grinned. "Okay! Now show me your ability of yours so that I can train against it!" She yelled. I concentrated, feeling for that ability that I used earlier today. I felt its unique aura mixing into my own before amping itself up. A dark shadow formed around me as my eyes glowed. I created my own set of after images as I suddenly dashed at Rainbow Dash. My speed somewhat paled to hers, but the sudden attack caused her to be stunned momentarily, giving me the chance to punch her in the stomach. She retaliated, but I used my new found speed to dodge it quickly. Ducking under her I began a fierce assault of punches at her stomach, causing her to twitch a lot in pain. A final punch and she was sent crashing into another tree. She slowly got up, a new found desire in her eyes. "I'm going to beat you!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she roared as she flew at me in even faster speeds, speeds that could be impossible for me to dodge. I flipped my ability around into my Defensive form. The punch collided, causing me to skid just only a little back. I received some damage but it was only a scratch. She was puzzled at this and during that phase I used that opportunity to change into offensive again and her her back. "What is that!?" Rainbow Dash yelled at me as she rebounded off the tree to attack me. Again my body turned rigid as I dropped my speed and power to increase my defense and recovery. "It's called the Phase Shift Ability. I can sacrifice my speed and strength for defense and recovery, and visa versa. I amped how big the boost will be but let me try this." I said. My fur (body) began to blacken, the sign of going into defensive. I began to break the limits of the form by using both at the same time. Eventually it was too much for the restraint to handle and I broke it, amping and increasing both my strength, speed, defense and recovery. Rainbow Dash grinned, knowing the battle will become harder than ever. "Okay so I won't hold back!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she suddenly dashed at me, her speed increasing even faster. She punched and I blocked, and to my surprise it actually damaged me slightly. Since the faster an object is, the greater its force. Of course me being rigid meant that basically Rainbow Dash punched a stone wall, causing her to yelp in pain. I retaliated and punched her, causing her to skid backwards. She landed on the ground and immediately got back up, kicking the air with her feet in case I came to attack. Using this futile and unnecessary attack to my advantage, I grabbed her by the legs and began to spin her around. Used to spiraling out in the sky she touched the ground and rebounded, hitting me in the face with a powerful buck. I let go, giving her the opportunity to escape. She ran around me, causing a tornado to form around me. I laughed. "This is nothing!" I yelled as I laughed, only to realize that I was having difficulties to breath. She laughed. "Oh now you're in trouble!" She yelled. I started to lose my breath, being outsmarted by the mare. Should I try to escape? No the wind would push me back in. Should I try to attack her? Low probability of success. Time to change the direction of the wind. A tornado of my own began to form around myself as it made it sound the opposing direction of Rainbow's wind. The winds clashed for dominance, each one trying to one up the other. I grunted as I pushed harder, and slowly my wind began to expand and slow her's. I felt the oxygen escaping though and started to lose concentration. C'mon c'mon! I yelled mentally as I pushed faster. I suddenly found her in the midst of her rainbow streak. I roared as I poured all my energy into the my wind, causing it to form one and slicing through her wind. She collided with the wind which was dense as rock, causing her to stop. The tornado slowed down, letting me breath again. I fell to the ground, breathing heavily to restore my oxygen supply. A minute passed as we both recovered. I saw her beginning to recover. Knowing her that she never would quit I prepared another ability. A dark dome formed around her, covering her completely from all angles including underground. She looked in shock and tried to break only to help in pain as she felt her own attacks become reflected against her. I began to close my hand, making the dome begin to shrink. She was forced into a ball where I had her. She was uncomfortable but not being squished to death to say. "Yield." I said, my voice monotone. I saw her eyes. She wanted to continue this fight but after seeing the situation she sighed. "Fine." I opened the barrier, helping her get up. I smiled. "You're pretty good." I stated. She smiled. "You're good too, but I know why." She said. "We should do some other competitions later that doesn't require our abilities!" She said. I sounded fair to me. "Okay. When can we have our next round?" I said. Rainbow Dash thought for a moment. "Well we can continue still!" She said, though I noticed she was still suffering from the pain of the battle. "Why don't we rest for another day shall we?" I said. Rainbow smiled. "Okay... But next time I'm going to kick your butt!" She said excitingly. I smiled. "We shall see." I said, before the both of us laughed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Taken //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note So for those who like UnOrdinary, if you find anything wrong with the personalities of the UnOrdinary cast or anything that would help me, that would be great. My head was slammed into the ground, causing my forehead to bleed a little. My hands were twisted and held by those two behind me, preventing me from moving. "ARLO!" I yelled from my crouched position. The one of in front of me, the King of Wellston, Arlo, smiled. "Oh how rude of me? I haven't introduced these two yet!" Alro said. "This is Ventus and Meili. I believe you've met them before. They're the ones that broke your phone." My eyes widened. I remembered when they 'accidentally' bumped into me, breaking my phone. I was stuck with no form of communicating with my best friend Seraphina. She was expelled at the time and thus I had no way of calling her. "How do you know about that?!" I asked. Alro chuckled. "Woah you are really oblivious! I'm the one who told them to do it! You never wondered why I was willing to tolerate you? Why would someone of my status associate with a cripple like you? I already warned you, didn't I? I have no intentions of being your friend. In fact, I quite despise you." Why? All I wanted was to be ordinary... ...to be able to get along with others. But why? Why is it when I finally get what I want... ALL OF IT TURNS OUT TO BE FAKE! What am I doing wrong? "The reason why I brought you here today....was to put you down." Arlo said. "Yeah you're such and eyesore!" One of the ones who were pinning me said. I growled. "It's time to act like the peasant you are!" "You're not part of this conversation." I said coldly. I felt it. I was starting to crack. "Fuck off." They slammed my head again as the one I said that got irritated. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?!" He roared. Arlo laughed, but I knew he was thinking to himself about how much more it would take for me to break. "There's no one around for miles. So we have all the time in the world to ingrain this lesson in your head." Alro said. "You are completely powerless." "Everything you've experienced for the last few weeks, was by my will." "Seraphina's suspension. Your limited contact with her. Your rescue from those four mid-tiers. And every encounter we had afterwards." Anger began to boil inside of me. I gritted my teeth, rage building up. "You have control over nothing."... I came to Wellston to turn over a new leaf. I wasn't selfish. I didn't boast about my power. I didn't hurt anyone.... So how.... How did things end up like this again?! "Monster!" The sound of that girl from my memories, the one who tricked me just like Arlo, jumped into my head. No! Memories of all the times I was being beaten up in Wellston filled my head. All the times I didn't use my ability when I should've to defend myself. All the times they've hurt me and I let them go. I'M NOT THE MONSTER! THEY ARE! And then....I finally cracked ARLO! I bursted into a hurricane of Shadows using Ventus And Meili's abilities at once. The wind threw the two away in shock as they realized that I wasn't the cripple they believed that I was. Dark Shadows covered me as I glares at Alro, who smiled. I'LL MAKE SURE HE'LL REGRET THIS DAY! "He's cracking again. I thought we've never had to do this, but we'll have to get rid of him from the equation all together." And the world was one more second away from changing... Dozens of trained people walk into where a John that had just been expelled from New Boston was being contained. In their path was the containment's security who began to block them. "Sir you have no permission to ente-" The guard gets knocked unconscious by one of the intruding members. The intruders walk unopposed but for the rest of the guards, they began to flee, knowing what they probably would do and that they did not want to be fighting against the kid. They enter John's containment room. He glares at them. "Take him." The rest of the group nod and begin to tie him up. John growls. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" John begins to throw punches in a attempt to escape but they maintain their grip. They carry him over to a woman. "We can't risk you being here anymore John. It's time to do something about you." The woman said. They blindfold John, hoping it would help them in their next operation. A portal forms as the woman's eyes glow light blue. John growls. "You think blinding me will hinder me of my ability!?" John's eyes glow gold and black portals begins to form. "I'll send every single one of you out of this world if it's necessary!" John yelled, unaware that he fell into their trap. For the woman only could open portals to connect a certain distance, and John has improved it to connect to different worlds. Before John could do anything else, one of them Hard Punched him, sending him stumbling into the portal. His blindfold was taken off and he witnesses his last moments on Earth. "Farewell John." The woman said, before a flash fo light occurred, and John disappeared from the timeline.... Arlo's eyes widened as John began to become transparent. By this moment John had already beat up the other two and already had Alro at his knees. He just ordered Alro to say nothing off this battle when John noticed that he was disappearing. "John...." Alro reached for John but he punched him away, shocked that he was becoming transparent. "This isn't over yet...ARLO!" And thus John disappeared from the face of their time. Arlo was stunned. "What just happened...?" Arlo said. He looked at his wounds and that of the others. He calls Elaine who comes rushing towards the three and Alro. "Arlo! You're bleedi-" Before she could continue, Alro grabs her. "It's best that you don't know what happened here." Arlo said. "Even I don't know what happened. Just heal those two up and everything will be fine." Also said. Deep inside, he knew that something went wrong as he felt he should've said something else and he diverted from the original path. And somewhere else, Seraphina slightly felt the difference in time as well... For the rest of the series, it seemed that nothing has changed. John seemed to be still there, which worried Arlo. What happened at that day? Hadnt John disappeared right in front of his eyes? Everything seems to go as it should've been... ...until it doesn't. Time later, Blyke, Isen, and Remi are in the same room together. It's been a long time after Joker's last attack. Time ago the Joker, found Isen snooping around and told them that he would make his move in two days. Those days were up long since and he hadn't made a move since then. "Strange. The Joker hadn't made a single move in weeks!" Remi, the Lightning Queen said. Blyke nodded. "It is strange. And stranger that John had also disappeared! Is this a tactic to lower our guard, only to be yet again his victim again?" Blyke said. He opened his hand. He growled. The Joker, who turned out to be John and also the King of New Boston, had fought him and beated him. Blyke formed a energy ball on four of his fingers. He was angry that he let the rest down. The Joker was able to use his Energy Beam and form a energy ball on ALL of his fingers, causing the Ace of Wellston to be defeated in matter of seconds. "But maybe something else happened. What if Ember or the officials are detaining John, just like they did after his expulsion from New Boston." Isen, the one who figured who and where John came from said. "Then we have to worry nothing at all!" Blyke said. Isen shook his head. "I disagree. Remember when we tried to figure this whole Ember thing and we faced a person with a power of 2.7 but who used a serum to improve it to 4.8 or something like that. If Ember were to be the ones that captured him, having John would help them in their research, probably even making them unstoppable." Isen said. "Or maybe this whole Ember thing was secretly a project to stamp out high tiers like John." Blyke said. Isen sighed. "Well whatever case it may be, none of them would be good." Remi said. "We're taking a missing person who is more powerful than Arlo. He could cause havoc everywhere. We have to find him." Remi said. Blyke and Isen nodded. "You won't be able to find him." The trio sounds around to see Arlo. "Alro what do you mean by we won't be able to find him?" Blyke asked. Alro sighed. "You guys already know about my defeated against John. Well to put it in simplest terms, right when he defeated me, he began to disappear. It's like he never existed anymore. If someone had pulled him out of the timeline, it could explain why we can't see him anymore in the present time. " Alro said. The trio were not convinced. "How do you know this happened? We still saw John after that fight." Isen said. "Most likely those were his remnants. I believe that it would be impossible to find him. The officials must had saw our battle in the past and decided to rid of John from our world. Kill him? Not likely. He's too strong to be killed. Take him away? Likely. For all we know, we'll never see him again." Alro said. "Never see him again?" Blyke asked. "Shouldn't this be a good thing?" "It should. For us. But wherever John went, if he ever comes back without us being the ones who help him, he'll believe that we caused him to be seperated from Seraphina and thus he would become even more angrier. And while I hate to say this, he is Wellston's true King. It is our duty to return him to his rightful place." The rest frowned. Alro and his hierarchy stuff. It tired them that even after what happened with John he still believed that John should still be placed in the hierarchy. "I know what you're thinking. All of us know that John is not fit for King. Even he probably believed that after seeing the damage he caused in his old school. But if he does become king, that means he can take care of Seraphina. Seraphina was the reason he went rogue after I hindered him of talking to her. All he wants was to be friends with her and I didn't want that. If he's King, we'll have to let that happen, probably for the best. She's basically one of the only things that calm him down. So even if it will not be best for us, it will be for the school." Arlo said. Isen crossed his arms. "Okay we got that...but how are we supposed to find John?" Arlo opened his mouth to speak but he closed it after a minute of silence. They had no idea how to find John. When I woke up I felt a stinging pain on my forehead. I placed a hand and rubbed the painful spot. I looked and saw blood on my hand. A sudden pain went into my mind as I realized it was the same hand that was injured by Alro's barrier. THAT SON OF A BI- I looked again as shadows started to form around the hand before healing it completely. I looked in wonder and was confused. I've never acquired a healing ability in that fight. Suddenly my mind was assaulted by a extreme pain as tons of memories I hadn't lived yet crashes into my mind. "So apparently someone meddled with time." I said. There was this myth that whoever was part of a scenario where someone changed an event would retain that distorted memory and other memories soft what they would've gotten had the time not been meddle with.... SERAPHINA! I started to panic. I tried to activate that portal ability but I got no luck. I slammed my fist on the ground. "NO! GET ME BACK! SERAPHINA!" Rage built inside of me. First Claire and now Alro. Now I won't be able to see Seraphina. That ability was gone. Out of the hundreds that I could've dropped right now, it had to be the portal one. I felt my body change slightly, but I was enraged. It was probably the fact that I was angry that I felt this 'change' occur. I started to knock down everything. Rocks. Trees. This huge wall that was blocking my visio- I looked up. A wall?! It was not juat any ordinary wall. It was a wall that was part of a castle. A old castle actually. A old banner hung from a window. It depicted two objects, a crescent moon and a bright yellow sun. I tried to sense any aura with Isen's Hunter ability that served no real purpose in helping me return home. I peered through the walls and sense nothing. I shrugged. It was an old castle. Looked like over a thousand years. Don't think anyone would mind crashing in. After fighting with the door to get in, I finally was able to enter the castle. Again I checked if no one was there. There was no one. I decided to go into a abandoned room which was filled with books and decided to call it my home A few minutes later.... "YOU STUPID SPIDER!" When I claimed this place as 'home' I believe I cursed myself with spiders. They invaded everywhere the moment I placed my flag (figuratively). It took a long time to send them scrambling out. The library contained a bed in which I laid. It was late outside. The sun which appear a bit unrealistic in some sense was setting. I sighed. Tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll find a way to go back home Seraphina. And if I don't go home tommorow, them I'll try the day after, and every day after until either I succeed, or die trying... Hours later I woke up. I looked out and it was still dark. I scratched my head. Usually when I sleep early, I wake up late. The fact that it was still dark made me wonder when the sun rose up in this place. I rose up, stretching my body. I tried to activate an ability. Strangely in this world I was able to keep my abilities longer than usual. Even after a full day I still had all the abilities that I've ever or will ever collect. I smiled but it fainted. Too bad I couldn't keep that portal ability. I looked out of the window right when a flash of light appeared in the other part of the castle. My eyes widened as I heard voices. Voices meant inteligente life. It must be the rescue team! Or the team sent out to make sure I was eliminated. I decided to power up some abilities that were available at the moment. Dormant but ready to use was Explosion, Heal, Spears, and Hunter, the four abilities I had in hand while fighting Isen. I began to walk down the stairs, careful to not make any noise. What I saw kind of shocked me. Two humanoid beings faced each other. One of them seems to be a purple uncirorn, but instead of being on fours, she, if we used the hairstyle as a base for guessing, she was bipedal. She wore a purple color scheme clothing. Across her was a dark blue, nearly midnight black figure. It was also a she and she also had a horn but along with that she also has wings. Along with that she had blue armor that gleamed with the moonlight, and a wavy hair that consisted of the night sky. Apparently the fight was also wrapping up as the purple one looked defeated, her gaze on some broken shards which were likely her last source of salvation. "Where are your precious elements now?!" The dark lady said, laughing crazily. Something ticked in my mind. A glimpse of who I was struck my thoughts. I started to have a boiling anger inside of me. This figure was reminding me who I was by her actions towards the smaller one. I remembered forcing others on my side with my power. I glared at her. I won't let her actions remind me of who I was! "ACK!" The tall figure was stunned and nearly fell as I bumped into her on purpose. She glared at me. I taunted her with a smile. "Who dares disturb the night! Who are you and why are you here!?" The dark figure yelled at me. And thus I used my most savage line that I would've said to a certain girl who asked a similar question. "My name is John. And B*tch I live here!" I said, my eyes glowing gold. And thus I triggered who I would know as the Princess of the Night. By calling her what she was. A b*tch. //-------------------------------------------------------// Nightmare Moon //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Currently I'm on hiatus due to vacation, so the story was actually planned to embark on the end of the month. Eh. Who cares. Like, Comment, and Subscribe to both this story and UnOrdinary by uru-chan. Nightmare Moon Obviously I had a knack of triggering everyone I saw. The moment I cursed at Nightmare Moon, she instantly was covered in midnight shadows. Her eyes glowed white, which was an obvious sign for me that she was extremely powerful. Or maybe it was one of those flashy power up abilities. Or both. "HOW DARE YOU MOCK THE NIGHT! WE'LL SHOW YOU THE TRUE POWER OF NIGHTMARE MOON!" Seriously? Another egoistical person who refers themselves in a different point of view other than first person? At least I gave her credit for coming up with a name like that. I chuckled. "BRING IT!" I yelled, before enveloping myself in a shadow. I guessed I surprised both of them, as the purple one backed away a little and the other one widened her eyes a bit. Nightmare Moon formed an array of blue swords behind her. They lifted up in the air, and suddenly multiple copies of them were launched from each individual sword at me. I took a step back, dodging the swords which indented on the ground and disappeared. So she has a Energy Sword ability? I was being so concentrated on the ones shooting in front of me that I failed to look at the ones behind me. I turned around just to check when suddenly various swords penetrated me, going clean through. "HUZZAH! WE'VE GOT YOU NOW!" Nightmare Moon yelled as I struggled to get up. "We both know you're beat. Bow down to me right now and I might spare your life." A memory of me confronting 'Stone-boy', the one who had the self-improvement ability that broke my arm once. The one I threw out of the window? Yep. I felt a boiling anger again flowing inside of me. She's REALLY PISSING ME OFF! Time to use my ability. I got up, barely standing straight. Nightmare Moon laughed at me, only serving as a fuel source for me. She suddenly gasped as dark shadows covered my wounds, slowly healing myself. The other purple one also widened her eyes. I felt that there were more beings in this room. I looked and five other figures stood there behind the purple one. All of them were yet again bipedal equines. One was a white unicorn with purple hair, there were two with wings, one being cyan with rainbow hair and another being yellow-ish with a pink hair. There were also two without either a horn or a wings. One was orange with a blonde hair and a cowboy hat, and another had a pink color scheme. The five backed away a bit when I stared at them with my cold eyes. I stared at Nightmare Moon lifting my two hands up. Behind me were my own swords but with a twist. For one they were double sided, another was that they were pitch black, glowing with my dark aura. And something else that they didn't know was that these swords were not just any ordinary energy swords... ...these swords could blow themselves up. In matter of seconds, the glowing black swords were sent flying towards Nightmare Moon, spinning at incredible speeds. Nightmare Moon barely dodges the first five, but the rest easily sliced and cut her neck and armor. The ones she dodges though blew up the moment they touched the ground, causing her to be sent flying towards me. I smiled as I powered up my Hunter ability, a black crossfire forming on her chest . I roared as I hit her as hard as possible, sending her crashing into the wall. I formed another set of explosive swords and sent them at her. By then I already had let go my morals. I was brutal, just like when I was in New Boston. But somehow, I was not having second thoughts. This was the true me. The Shadow King! "Had enough Nightmare Moon, or do you want more?!" I asked, my eyes glowing gold, the dark shadows still circling around me. Nightmare Moon growled. "I won't be beaten by a simple being like you! You're nothing compared to me! You're a weakling!" Nightmare Moon yelled. My eyes widened before contracting again, anger boiling inside of me. I came up to her and slapped her across the face. Hard. "WATCH WHO YOU'RE SPEAKING!" I yelled. Nightmare Moon looked at me. "I'M NOT THE MONSTER HERE! YOU ARE! YOU AND ALL OF THOSE WHO ACT LIKE YOU!" Memories of all of those who were in my school appeared in my head. Those who were too weak to defend themselves. Those high tier who used their power to do petty things. And those who think that just because they had a little power meant that they could boss around those below them. NONE OF THEM ARE WORTH ANYTHING! All except Seraphina... Tears formed in my eyes. My senses came back to me. I was becoming yet again who I was. The one who used any little thing to bring pain. The one who took down half of his class. The one who brutalized everyone to the point that they had to get rid of him. The one who used his power for his own ego. NO! I AM NOT GOING TO RETURN TO WHO I WAS! I looked at Nightmare Moon. I was strangling her with my hand which was firmly squeezing her neck. I took a step back, letting my hand go. My eyes dimmed. I looked at the ground, my face reflecting off of it. My hair... It was the same style as the one I had in New Boston. The gel I always used was to prevent me from seeing this old hair style which reminded me of my days in New Boston. I am not the same as I was sin New Boston. Unfortunately during my thinking I forgot about Nightmare Moon completely. I looked up to see a fist coming at me. Nightmare Moon made contact and I was sent crashing into the other wall. I healed myself again, my eyes flickering. Part of me wanted to continue beating her up, while the other part wanted to stop this madness that I was making. "You made a fatal mistake." Nightmare Moon said. "Never turn your back against a enemy who is still a threat." I looked at her once again... ...and laughed. Nightmare Moon and the rest were shocked by the fact that even on the ground I was taunting her. "What are you laughing at?!" Nightmare Moon yelled. I laughed harder. "Why of course you!" I said. "You? A threat? Oh come on that's the lamest thing I have ever heard! Let me tell you something!" I said, pacing around. "Where I come from there's various people as strong as I am. Stronger than you'll ever be. Let me give you an example." "So we have Isen and Blyke who are probably blowing up Wallik Hall....again. Remi who controls lightning and would probably burn everything to crisp if she chose to. Arlo who while is a pain in the @ss can form a barrier that does reflective damage. And Seraphina who with her time manipulating abilities is pretty much a god." I reclined against a broken wall. "And what you can do? Form energy sword out of nowhere? That's a 4 at best in our world. Turn into a shadow? We have one that can become invisible! Give me nightmares? Again that's a 4 or 5 at best. Shoot beams with your strange horn if I guess that's it purpose? We can use our hands to shoot massive beams! Fly around? Boring! Scream out 'Huzzah!' Everytime you believe you won? Pathetic! Seriously you're not a real threat to me after all. In fact, I bet I could destroy you without even trying." Nightmare Moon became really ticked and started to charge at me. "HOW DARE YOU INSULT US!" I smiled. Right when she was about to pummel me, I formed a energy ball on each of my fingers. I stopped her cold with a barrier, causing her to yell in pain as she took reflective damage. I opened the barrier, each energy ball aimed at her. "TAKE THIS!" I yelled as each energy ball went through her. She fell to the ground, twitching as she tried to control the pain she was feeling. I looked at her in disgust. "Told you that you're not a threat to me." I said. I powered down, just when she started to get up. Her power was dimming away fast. She was about to speak when suddenly she saw something and looked in shock. I looked and saw the six bystanders in a middle of a huge rainbow sphere. "WTF is that....?" A rainbow beam suddenly shot upwards and started to fall down in the direction of Nightmare Moon. Unfortunately by the time I realized I was in it's way, it was already starting to envelope me. I formed a barrier, but somehow the beam went right through it as if it were nothing. I yelled in pain as I took reflective damage somehow. I also heard Nightmare Moon yelling as she was being attacked by the beam as well. I looked up and saw the girls powering the beam. I chuckled. Well at least Nightmare Moon is being dealt by those six. But you're also being injured. Oh right. By the time the beam finished, I was weakened. My legs were shaking. I was feeling light headed. My healing ability was exhausted and so was my body. Well that's just pathetic. My legs collasped first, making me fall into the ground. I was able to stop myself my hitting my head by using my hands, but it was also feeling weak. By the time the six rushed towards me and arrived, my head was on the floor. "I'm fine...I'm fine....I'm fine....I'm fine...." And with that being said, I became unconscious.
