The colours of love

'yes' that's whats she said 'yes' I couldn't believe it me,  Rainbow Dash was engaged to the love of my life Scootaloo. I just woke up and that was the first thing on my mind and was the only thing for ages until I got up and decided to go for my usual morning fly I kissed Scootaloo's head who was lying next to me in my bed and flew out the door. The day looked pretty clear so I tried out some new tricks out the first one I tried I call the hoop de loop but I hurt myself trying it so I unlike myself gave up on it. I wandered around Ponyville for a while and not knowing why I couldn't continue I have never done that in my entire life why would I give up. But after a while I stopped thinking about it and went to visit Fluttershy. I knocked on the door and she opened it, she rubbed her eyes, she must have just woke up.

"Oh hey Rainbow." Fluttershy said in a soft voice

"Hi Fluttershy." I replied

"Whats up?"

"I have great news." Fluttershy fluttered her wings

"Oh I love great news, tell me what is it?"

"Me and Scoot are getting married."

"OH MY GOSH are you serious?"

"Yes I proposed last night and she said yes!"

"I am so happy for you."

"And I came over to ask will you be my mare of honor?"

"Of course I Rainbow I would be honored."

We spoke for a while about the wedding and what she thinks I should do and then I left. I decided to have a little fly around Ponyville it seemed as if the world was better since the big 'yes'. I flew to the rest of the gangs houses and asked them if they would be bride mares and the all happily said yes.

It has been 2 months since me and Scoot got engaged and today might be the worst day ever, today granny smith died. It was earlier this morning when Big mac came to the door I asked him what he wanted but he broke into tears before he could say anything so Apple Bloom came from behind and told me she said it was a heart attack, they said she passed peacefully. After Apple Bloom told me I closed the door sat down and was in shock for hours but the realization never hit me, but when it did all I could do was cry and be angry. I had no idea why I was angry but I was it may have been because she has been like a mother to me. Scootaloo ran through the door with tears in her eyes.

"It's okay Scoot she is in a better place." I told her but it didn't seem to do anything to help at all. We sat there for a while talking about the fun moments with granny smith then Scootaloo said "You think the wedding will still be the same?"

"Of course it wont be but she will be looking down on us and she will be smiling." That settled her for a bit.

Today is the day of Granny Smiths funeral, I flew there with Scootaloo with my shades on so nopony could see my crying eyes. When we arrived I walked to Applejack and hugged her and walked inside. We found a seat, it was a big turnout it was from Derpy to Princess Celestia. Everyone was crying even the Princess,  the priest walked up to the podium and began the service.

"I never got to know Granny Smith but I wish I had. Now we shall have a moment of silence. Now I think her grand daughter would like to say a few words." the priest said

"First I would like to thank everypony for coming to this funeral. Granny Smith was the kindest old mare in all of Ponyville. She would have gave her left hoof for this town. Now she is gone and Ponyville will never be the same. Sweet dreams granny." Applejack ended her speech with tears. She sat back in her chair and the funeral was continued.

"Let us go and put Granny Smith in her final resting place." The priest said

  We walked out to the graveyard and she was buried and that was that the day continued but we didn't do our usual things we sort of just sat in the house doing nothing but thinking of everything.

Two months till the wedding and we are practically done preparing we have the caterers (the Apple family) the church (in Canterlot) we got the Canterlot castle to host the reception and Rarity to make the dresses. And today is a special day, its Scootaloo's birthday and I already have her gift. I got her a pet, she always said she wanted a kitten so I went to Fluttershy and she had one that I know Scoot will love. I got to Fluttershy's house and picked up the kitten. I flew back home and saw a shadow in the house, Scootaloo was up. I came through the back door so she wouldn't see me, I snuck up behind her put the kitten down while it was in a cage and told her to keep her eyes shut and turn around, when she did I told her to open them and gave the kitten to her. She slowly took her and looked at her, Scootaloo had the cutest smile I had ever seen in my entire life. "Happy birthday Scoot" I said to her, she kissed me and we played with the kitten for a while until we all got tired and fell asleep.

The big day is tomorrow, when me and Scootaloo get married. Following tradition Scoot is staying at her old house so we don't see each other until the wedding. It has been a long day, Muffins (the cat) clawed up all my new blankets also Twilight got sick and said she couldn't come to the wedding. I told her we would miss her there.

Its now only 12 hours until the wedding and I cant sleep so I took  few sleeping pills and they knocked me right out. My dream last night was weird, we were at the wedding and me and Scoot just kissed and the whole place started to shake and it was the wonderbolts, they came in and told me to choose between Scoot or them, then I woke up.

"Stop moving Rainbow I'm trying to put your dress on you." Rarity said in an annoying tone.

"Whatever just hurry up I don't want to be late." I said back

"Don't worry about it you will be ready in no time."

She was wrong about that, it took and extra 30 minutes but we got to the church in time. I was standing there waiting for the music to start, and when it did I saw the most beautiful sight in my entire life, I saw what true beauty was I saw Scoot in an amazing gown. It was a pure white dress with a beautiful tiara, it it too beautiful to explain. When walked up the isle and got to me I looked into her eyes and started to cry with joy.

"Everypony, we are gathered here today to bring Rainbowdash and Scootaloo together. Would you now like to recite your vows?" The princess asked

"Yes. Thank you. Rainbow, the first ever time I saw you I loved you. For years you were my big sister, but now you are my wife. When I started to love you in this way the world seemed happier. Without you the world would be full of black white and grey rainbows and my heart would be full of lonliness, I would never be able to be the mare I am without you, and for that I say thank you, and I love you." Scootaloo said with tears of joy

"Scoot  you are the mare every pony would want. You are kind, sweet, funny and not to mention beautiful.I have always thought you were amazing, but it was only when you became a full grown mare that i realized you were beautiful. The world has been made for me and you. I thought meeting the wonderbolts was the greatest day of my life, but I was wrong today is the greatest day, I could not ask anymore from you and please know that no matter what happens, even when we are gone and our children remain, I will still love you, from now until eternity." I said with more tears than before

"Well then i now pronounce you wife and wife you may now kiss the brides."

That was the most passionate kiss I have ever had.
