Trapped in the ancient city of Yharnam, Celestia tries her best to find a way through it's blood soaked streets, all while keeping two people, one who insisted on coming with, and one she came to save, alive.

Twilight didn't know what she was expecting, venturing into an ancient, lost city. Actually, that's a lie. She did know, and it definitely was not what she got.

Astral Blossom has been asleep for a while. Too long, in fact. So long, her mentor looks happy to see her...

Something's gone wrong, hasn't it?

An AU merge with Bloodborne. No Major Character death or disfigurement. Blood and injury, but nothing that a little magic can't heal. No humans, all tags are accurate. Multiple viewpoints, switching when required by the narrative, which doesn't happen often.

Post-S3, pre-S4. MLP lore not established before S4 is ignored, unless I think it works with my AltU, or I think it's cool.

Note to new viewers: if something turned you off at some point, let me know! I want the data as I'm trying to understand just what this community likes. Also, don't be afraid to leave a review. Positive ones feed the soul and negative ones feed the mind, or so I say.

About my update schedule:
Short version: I don't have one. New chapters are added when they're added, but I'll try to keep the delay between chapters to a 1 month maximum.

Warning: Nerd Talk ahead!

Lore from Bloodborne has been incorporated into MLP canon as unobtrusively as possible while still remaining faithful to the source, and quite a bit of homebrew and headcanon has been applied to certain mechanics within both MLP and Bloodborne to make the two more compatible, yet distinct.

At some point I plan to upload the lore notes I've made on the relationships between BB mechanics and their place in MLP. Feel free to ask any questions about the lore of my AU, chances are I've thought of it, and if I haven't then you'll be helping me create a more thorough meld of the two universes.

Just looking over all the Bloodborne inspired stories, I'm seriously surprised there isn't a Bloodborne tag.

If you've read this far, thank you for taking the time to read my description (and presumably the story, because who reads the whole long description before the story anyways?), and I hope you enjoy the story!

Disclaimer:
I do not own Bloodborne or MLP:FiM.
