Fallout Equestria: Neigh Orleans

Welcome to the Land of Equestria, the country known two centuries ago for its values of friendship and freedom. It was thought that not even the evilest and powerful beings could destroy it. A mighty kingdom that spread its ideals of peace and kindness across the world. The three kinds of ponies who resided in it, unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies lived in perfect harmony with their neighbours and with all who used their power for good.

That was until Equestria succumbed to the worst evil of them all:

Greed.

As the country entered an industrial revolution, a golden age, the alicorn princesses who ruled the bright land found that its citizens needed resources the country didn’t have to power the massive machines. And so the ponies of Equestria looked to other countries for their needs. This led to an unfair trade deal with the Zebra lands. When they found out about the deceit, there were many unsuccessful compromises that led to conflict. And eventually, war.

A war almost won. until the Zebras, with no other options, blew up the board. They rained hellfire across the land. Stolen weapons of mass destruction, megaspells, were used to annihilate the once-proud country.

When Equestria burned, so did many of its allies --- except for one. While Equestria was destroyed by greed, the Hippogriffs of Mount Eris hid away on their secluded island, ignoring the screams.

Since then, Mount Eris and its surrounding islands have become the last bastion of civilization. The only place free of the horrors of megaspells and radiation. The Hippogriffs have lived there in peace and harmony, sealed off from their war-torn cousins and neighbours. Until today.
