Andrew couldn't remember the last time that he was in pain when he woke up. It could've been the time that he woke up after sleeping on the floor all night, or it could've been the time that he had to sleep at his friend's house since his was burned down. While he couldn't remember the last time this happened, here he was, waking up with a huge pain in his backside.
And here I was hoping for a good night's sleep..., he thought to himself. While getting into a sitting position and stretching, he opened his eyes, only to find that he didn't know where in the hell he was. He seemed to be up on a hill, overlooking a clearing full of grass, trees, and a small lake... or something like that. The sky above him was blue, almost too blue, with small clouds here and there.
On the plus side, at least I don't have to worry about it raining...
Not knowing where he was or how he got there, Andrew jumped to his feet, scrambling to find anything that even remotely looked familiar. He started to quietly freak out, racking his brain for anything that could piece together what was happening. First thing that came to mind was that his friends had played a prank on him... some how. What he didn't understand was how they got in, since his front door was locked.
While he was pondering on how they got into his home, a figure started to walk up the hill, wearing only a sweatshirt that seemed too small for them. The hood was up, covering the face of it's owner. The figure walked up to Andrew, and sat as far as four feet away from him. Andrew never saw the figure approach him, since he was too far into his thoughts to really notice the world around him.
After what seemed like forever, the figure cleared it's throat, grabbing Andrew's attention. His eyes focused, and drifted towards the thing that made the noise. His eyes finally rested upon the small figure sitting in front of him, and he became extremely confused.
"I didn't know that the passage was still working...", it has said, startling the man into stumbling backwards a few centimeters, but not knocking him over. "I mean, I could've sworn that they were closed off a while ago."
The words confused Andrew, but not for the reasons he thought. He never questioned the sentences themselves, no; he questioned the fact that the small figure sounded strikingly... familiar. It didn't help that it was almost whispering, but he could still hear it just fine.
The man never once tore his gaze away from it, and it took him a while to work up the courage to even say anything. After a few minutes, though, he said something.
"...hello..." It wasn't a bad start, could've been better. It didn't help that he was shaking quite horribly and it was evident that it knew he was scared shitless. "Where am I...?"
The figure seemed to contemplate on speaking to him, or at least that's what he thought it was doing. It's really hard trying to read someone when their face is covered by a piece of cloth. Both of them sat there, in complete silence, just kind of... taking the other in. When a few minutes passed by and neither said a thing to the other, Andrew took that as a go ahead and speak thing.
"My name is Andrew... what's yours?", he nervously asked. Again, he could've said it with more of an umph behind his voice, but he was still extremely confused and scared.
"Hello Andrew, the name's Rainbow Dash, and welcome to Equestria." Now this confused him. He knew of Equestria, him being a avid watcher of the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but that was just a work of fiction... right? I mean, there was no way that he was in one of his favorite TV shows... right?
Sensing his apprehension towards the information that he was given, "Rainbow Dash" huffed out of what could've been anger. "She" fidgeted for a few minutes, moving back and forth on the ground, before moving her left appendage towards "her" head. The first thing that Andrew noticed about this appendage was the fact that it wasn't human. It was blue, and, most damning of all, it was a hoof. This surprised the young man, and made him start to rethink his first thoughts and, more importantly, his doubts about the information that "she" seemed to have shared.
After moving "her hoof" for an eternity, it finally fell upon the hood of the sweatshirt. It was ripped off not a few moments later, showing the true identity of the owner. And, to add more doubts to his thoughts, there in front of him was Rainbow Dash in all of her glory. Her prismatic mane was the first thing that he noticed, seeing that it was just as vibrant as it was in the show. Her sky blue coat was just beaming in the morning sun. The last thing he seemed to notice was her eyes: a bright violet. It was then that he noticed that she was staring at him with an almost annoyed look.
"You done checking me out yet?", she asked. Andrew's face grew a little hot at the words she had said, and started to stammer just slightly. She shook her head, glaring at the young man. "Everyone who comes through here does the exact same thing as you just did. It's fine, it wasn't sexual in any way, you were just 'making sure'... as some of the others have said."
It didn't click at first on what he had just heard, but, after about 30 seconds or more, he opened his eyes slightly, and looked down upon her. "What do you mean 'others'? Am I not the first here?"
Rainbow shook her head 'no', looking straight into his eyes.
"Where are these so called 'others'?" After he had asked this question, Rainbow got a distant look in her eyes. Not knowing what to do or say, Andrew stood there awkwardly, waiting for her to return from her thoughts. His eyes darted away from the pony sitting across from him and towards the gigantic mountain that was just on the horizon. How he hadn't noticed this before confused him, but, considering what he was going through at the moment, he cut himself some slack.
"They left..." Her voice shocked him, his eyes daring back towards her within an instant. She was looking at him, but not really showing much emotion.
"Where did they go?", he asked. Once again, her eyes glazed over and, this time, it didn't look like he was going to get the answer he wanted.
A few minutes later, Rainbow Dash shook her head to clear her thoughts, looked at the human in front of her, and beckoned him to follow her. She stood up and started to walk down the hill, in what seemed like to Andrew, a random direction. He followed shortly after, pushing himself down the hill and behind Rainbow.
"Where are we going?", he asked. Again, he heard a sigh, whether it was from exhaustion or anger, he didn't know. She didn't say anything for a few minutes that followed, both walking in silence. Finally, she gave him an answer that he was comfortable with hearing.
"We're going to meet the others. They'll be so excited in hearing that another human has decided to grace us with his presence." With the way that she had said that, Andrew knew right then and there that it probably wasn't going to be good for him, nor were they going to be excited about his arrival...

I want to thank you for clicking on this story. While it isn't the first time I have written something in general, it is the first time that I have posted something onto this site, so... do with that what you will.
I'm also sorry since I'm not the best at grammar. English may be my first language, but they really don't teach grammar anymore in school, just spelling. And, if they did, then it went in the ear and out the other, and that's my fault, not yours.
With that all being said, I want to thank you guys for reading. Leave a comment saying how I can approve the story. Criticism of any kind (even the ones that are just hate comments) are accepted now and forever, since I want to better myself for your guys' entertainment.

Andrew was never one for working out. It's not that he didn't want to do it, he just never saw a point for it. His job was mostly sitting behind a computer in an office for 8 hours a day. Add that to the fact that he really didn't have fat to burn off, he was content not going to the gym.
Looking back on it now, though, he wished he had.
His feet were killing him from the amount of walking that they had been doing. The valley that they were in seemed to go on forever in all directions, and there was no real sign of it stopping anytime soon. He lost count on how long they had been walking a few trees ago, but his guess was somewhere around a half an hour of walking.
The worst part, though, was the fact that neither had said a thing to the other since their journey started.
Most of the time, this wouldn't bother the young man; he loved silence because he doesn't really like interacting with others. But, this circumstance was a completely different story. He was in a world he thought was fiction not 12 hours ago, with a small equine that shouldn't even exist. Needless to say, he had questions, and he wanted the answers sooner rather then later.
He did try to break the ice earlier into the journey, but Rainbow Dash was extremely keen on keeping the silence around for the whole trip. After the fourth attempt at starting a conversation with his leader, he finally gave up. What he started doing instead was just looking around, enjoying the view.
After an eternity of just open fields, they finally came upon a small cluster of trees. The young man thought that it looked extremely familiar, and, while he knew where he was, he couldn't figure out what episode it had belonged in. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice that his leader had stopped, and was now looking back at him.
She cleared her throat and moved a hoof to show off what they had arrived to: a village. Andrew instantly recognized it from the show: it was Ponyville, the main backdrop and home to the Mane Six. He suppressed his urge to start bouncing up and down by tapping his foot, which made Rainbow Dash raise an eyebrow slightly.
"You probably know where we are, but... formalities and what not." She had said, tearing her gaze from the human towards the town in front of her. "Welcome to Ponyville..." From what Andrew could hear, she didn't sound too excited. It almost sounded like she had said that more than once before...
She did say that there has been more humans here before, so... it's not completely out of the question.He was able to immediately see some of the buildings within the town, due to their size
The first one was the Castle of Friendship, home to Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer, Twilight's former student of friendship. It seemed to almost glow in the afternoon light, and the star on top of the castle seemed to just... shower small rainbows around it. It was identical to the one in the show, except for it's height, since you can't judge that sort of thing through a TV screen.
The second thing he saw was the Carousel Boutique, home to Rarity and sometimes Sweetie Belle, her younger sister. Just like the Castle, it was bigger than what he thought it would be, and it seemed to be closer to where he and Rainbow Dash stood. Again, though, it was identical to the one in the show.
Lastly, he saw, upon a hill, Sweet Apple Acres, home to the Apple Family. Here there was a difference between the show and what was laid out in front of him; that being just how big it all was. Trees seemed to run for miles into the distance, as well as things like carrot fields, sheds, and farming equipment just left out. The rest of Ponyville was just homes with thatch rooves, nothing too fancy.
"Come on..." He looked down towards Rainbow Dash, seeing that she had started to walk away towards the town. "The others are waiting..."
After a few minutes of walking through town and getting stares from the common folk, they arrived on the doorstep to the Castle of Friendship. Andrew stared up in wonder at how high it actually went.
It could easily battle any small skyscraper back home..., he thought, his mouth hanging wide open. He was drawn from his staring when he heard the mare in front of him knock on the door, glancing back at him to make sure he was still there. Both stood in front of the crystal door for about two or three minutes before it opened, revealing a short purple dragon.
"Rainbow? What are you doing here?", the dragon asked, looking up at the mare. Without answering, she gestured to behind her with her head, making the dragon peak around her taller form. His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when he noticed the tall biped not too far from Rainbow, a surprised expression on his face which quickly morphed into a look of understanding. "So that's why the others showed up...", he had muttered to himself. He quickly moved out of the way, letting Rainbow and Andrew move inside.
Rainbow gestured her head towards the door, which the human didn't seem to understand right away. He raised an eyebrow, looking straight into her eyes as if they were about to have the longest stare off the world has ever seen.
"You guys gonna come in or just stare at each other?" Both looked to the small dragon standing off to the side, who looked extremely unamused about the situation. Andrew chuckled lightly, looking back towards the rainbow haired mare and giving off a quizzical expression. Said rainbow haired mare sighed and started to head into the castle, motioning the human to follow her inside.
"We don't want to keep the others waiting, so come on..."
The castle was even bigger on the inside than it was on the outside, something that humored the human since another fictional character that he enjoyed would've loved hearing those words. Rooms seemed to be spread out on either side of him, going on forever down a hallway that never seemed to end as well. It just sprawled on forever, which both confused the young man and terrified him.
Once again, Rainbow Dash was leading the "charge" to where ever they seemed to be heading, and, once again, Andrew never thought to ask where exactly they were going.
She did say something about meeting the others, so... best guess is that we're meeting her friends..., he thought. This was another thought that terrified him, since it wasn't every day that you meet fictional characters from a kid's show that you thought were just dreamed up by another human being.
After walking for what felt like an hour, Andrew, Rainbow, and Spike all stopped in front of a doorway, which was wide open, revealing the contents inside. All the human saw were books lining the shelves, showing him that they were in the Library of the castle, Twilight's favorite spot in all of the castle (or, that was his thought anyway...).
"So it was true...", another voice had said, startling the human. Looking forward, into some of the seats, sat the rest of the Main Six, sitting in this order: Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy to his left, Starlight, Pinkie, and an empty seat to his right (probably for Rainbow Dash when she enters the room), and Twilight in the middle. Again, he gained a confused face, looking at all of them individually.
"What is this, a group therapy session...?", he asked himself, still looking around. He heard the sound of Rainbow walking away, her hoofsteps getting softer until they stopped, hearing a small whumpf as she sat down in her chair. After a few seconds of silence, he heard a throat being cleared, making him look into the room once again.
"Hello,", Twilight said, motioning for the human to come into the room. "We just want to ask some questions..."
