Twilight's experiment on brain scanning wasn't supposed to accidentally create a copy of Midnight Sparkle as an independent artificial intelligence inside her computer. Said AI wasn't supposed to be able to reach out of the confines of the machine she'd been created in to the rest of Twilight's laboratory and other experiments. Twilight's other experiments weren't supposed to include the materials to build a perfectly functioning mind-control device, and Midnight definitely wasn't supposed to be able to use it on Twilight.

All in all, everything had gone horribly wrong, and now Twilight was stuck under the control of a power-crazed program planning to conquer all of her friends and make them into obedient slaves to Twilight's will. Everything had truly gone horribly, terribly, wonderfully wrong. And Twilight knew she would enjoy it far more than she should have.
