Hi. I am the almighty lord of chaos. Although, you may also know as Discord. While yes, I’m fascinating, this story is about the best pony of all ponies. Better than Twilight, better than ugh, Celestia, even better than I, and that’s saying something. Her name is Fluttershy.

It all began last April Fool’s day when Miss Princess Perfect, allowed this day to be my special day of chaos. This day, I could cause chaos , not overboard or life-threatening, without worry of being turned to stone. This is one of the smartest things Celestia ever did.

You see, one of the main things I did, I switched the Main 6’s species. Applejack and Rarity became pegasi. Pinkie and Rainbow became the unicorns, leaving Twilight to be the Earth pony. And of course, my dear, sweet, Fluttershy became an alicorn and a princess. The princess of Kindness. Although, I added some special features. She was now taller, with a flowing pink, yellow, robin egg blue, spring green mane with butterflies flying in it. Sort of like Celestia and Luna’s manes. And her eyes now had an extra sparkle. She kinda looked like a Flutterized Cadence.

Anyway, she was surprised to see the change that had came around. I explained that Celestia had allowed me to cause some harmless chaos this day, and I thought I would try something new. She suggested that some ponies are a little touchy about the chaos, and suggested that I stick to her and her friends. I was like ”Well, what am I going to do? I only really know you.” and she told me that maybe you could use your chaos to make dreams come true.

For example, give Miss Perfect Princess Jr. In other words Twilight, a lot of new Books to read. I could pull pranks with Rainbow dash and Pinkie. I also thought that pinkie was a little weird, so I decided to make mental note to give pinkie some of my Chaos Magic. Long story short, she urged me to use this day to learn about our friends. So, I did.

I started with Pinkie. I remember everything. ”Hey Discord” “Hello Pinkie. Are you enjoying this special day?” “Well. That’s a silly question. Of course I am! I mean, it’s not everyday I’m a unicorn, right?” “well you do have a point. From the looks of it, you got the magic part down pat. So, considering that I am going to be Very busy, and would like to celebrate this glorious occasion. I would like you to throw a party tonight using some of my chaos magic through your unicorn form. What do ya say?” ”Ohmygosh Ohmygosh!!! Yes Yes Yes. I would love to. But, before I do, would you like to come pulling pranks with me and Dashie for a hour or so?” “that’s sounds like fun. Pranks on my special day.”

Long story short, That was my time with pinkie. She was really fun, and I enjoyed pranking with her and, what did pinkie call her, right, Dashie. After pinkie went to go plan the party, I also heard her mention on asking for help from the other super duper party pony. Me and Dash went and hung out. Nothing Fancy, we relaxed on the clouds and raced. She used her magic to do this. Turns out she learned really quickly how to fly with magic, and a couple of other things. After a couple of hours, I said good bye to Rainbow Dash. She seemed to have plans to, notice the quotation “hang out” with some blue pegasus stallion. So, I went to go see Rarity to help me look good for my party later that night.

”Hi Rarity. Can I ask you a favor?””What would that be Discord” “I was wondering if you make me an all out, original, and very dashing tux, and maybe some accessories while your at it. Why of course, but my I ask why darling? I mean, you are one of the last ponies, sorry, creatures, I thought would be asking me to dress them up. Well, actually there is Rainbow dash and Applejack who I can imagine. Anyway, back to you Discord, for what occasion do you need this tux for? “For my pranking party tonight of course. All of Ponyville, and maybe a couple others are invited.””Ah, I see. Well, I will get right on it. I just need you to stand right over there while I take your measurements and see what I can whip up.

Long story short, I Got a fabulous tux that I wore that night. Probably the Only tux you’ll ever see me wearing. It was yellow, with a green bow tie, a light blue collar, pink tails, and a red rose. I will explain later what all those colors meant later in the story..

I would have stayed longer, but this walking feline on 2 legs with a bouquet of flowers came in calling on Rarity. Anyway, next was Twilight. She just glared at me. Maybe because I bursted in while she was reading some new books. I was so stupid to have asked her to help me learn a couple things of friendship. Boy, she went none stop for a couple of hours, until this orange pegasus with a blue mane came into the library. She was so excited that I managed to sneak away. I don’t remember how I learned of this, but I learned that spike has gone somewhere else outside the library.

So next on my list was Applejack. I was planning to ask her to help make some of the food. But as I got there, i heard some laughter. It was Applejack and.....spike? Not exactly what I expected. They seemed to be having fun, just talking, messing with each other, and there was a point where Spike snaked his tail through Applejack’s limbs only to start tickling her. All Spike was doing was stroking her belly with his claws, and she was laughing her country style laughter. I decided to just leave her alone, and to give her and spike some privacy. I was pretty sure Pinkie, and this mysterious pony would have the food under control.

To have seen Spike with Applejack, I was sort of reminded of the other ponies with their mysterious visitors. It was still quite some time until my party that night, so I decided to check things out. I had already seen the country cowpoke and her visitor. So, I decided to check out Twilight 1st because I was a little surprised, and curious about her reaction to that stallion. When I got there, I saw her and him, whatever his name was, talking, laughing, and having a good time. This was a different side to Twilight that I never knew. Instead of being all serious, studious, and all about the Magic Of Friendship, she was calm, relaxing, and having fun.

So, having checked on Twilight, I proceeded to Rarity and her, I don’t know what. I went looking in her shop, I found my tux, but no Rarity. I searched a couple other places, and I finally found her at some fancy restaurant with that love interest of hers I guessed. So moving right along. I decided that I was curious about that mysterious super duper something or other. I snapped myself to Sugar Cube Corner, invisible of course, And with extra precautions so that I wouldn’t set of her Pinkie Sense.

When I got there, My jaw almost hit the floor. There was a macaroni and cheese orange male earthpony, with a very Pinkie like poofy brown mane and tail. I heard him say something about his cheesie sense. At 1st, I thought that Pinkie had used some of my chaos magic to make a male alternative. I used my magic to make sure, as my magic or its creations leave a trace. He didn’t have the trace. He was 100% natural. It just was so, so, so chaotic to have a natural, basically male Pinkie. I decided to make haste and maybe check out Rainbow Dash.

After a speedy getaway, I stumbled upon dash and her colt friend. Or her her really good friend. They did look sort of alike, maybe they were siblings. I used my magic and found they weren’t related. They were racing, competing, and talking. No real excitement here. So I left and decided to maybe check out Fluttershy. You know, see what she’s up to. I found Fluttershy in Canterlot. She was in the castle with Celestia and Cadence. I guess she was really taking her princess role seriously. I managed to over hear part of their conversation.

”So Discord is doing really well. He has caused some harmless chaos for me and my friends. He is even throwing a party later tonight to celebrate. All of Ponyville is invited, and any others who want to come.”

”Well Fluttershy, it seems that Discord is making good use of his day.

”I agree with Celestia. I wonder if we are going to be involved. You know, if Discord will ask for the Princesses uses for this day. I almost wish he would

”Well Cadence, I think that even if Discord doesn’t, I think you would enjoy the party.”

I stopped listening after that. Cadence had given me the idea that I should ask the Princesses to help. I planned to ask Luna if she could do some crazy constellations that night, Twilight I was going to leave alone, Celestia could, well, uhm, well, I’ll get to that later. Maybe she could provide some entertainment with a dunk tank. Cadence, I think I would have most need of. She was the Princess of love after all, and she would be perfect for my little match making scheme.

So, now I just needed to contact the princesses, ask the CMC a favor to help cater part time to the party, and ask fluttershy a question. Later, I had done what I needed to with the Princesses and the CMC. The CMC was very excited to help, Princess Luna agreed to the night sky idea, Princess Celestia was a bit hesitant but agreed to when I reminded her of my special day, and Princess Cadence went all Pinkie pie like when I told her about my match making scheme.

Now, I just needed to talk to Fluttershy. When I found her again, which took a while. She apparently had been all over Equestria spreading kindness. I knew she would have made the perfect Princess. Although, next year, I was going to make Pinkie the Princess. The Princess of fun. Her and her male alternative friend.

Sooo, back on track, When I finally found Fluttershy, I saw her taking a break in a cafe for some milk. Oh just to let you know, this was in Fillydalphia. (Philadelphia) I snuck in and sat in the seat across from her. And I said,

”Hey their Princess Butterfly.”

Fluttershy looked around ”Butterfly? Oh Discord, I’m so glad to see you. How are things going?

”Oh just dandy. I have got all my plans done. I hung out with your, sorry, our friends. Pinkie I gave some of my Chaos Magic to help plan my special day party. I thought she would enjoy it, and it freed up my schedule. Although we and Dashie went pranking for a time. Then after Pinkie had left, Rainbow dash and I raced for a while, she has gotten the hang of flying magic. And we hung out relaxing. Next I visited Rarity to help me with a special outfit for the party tonight. I think I know enough to say she enjoys designing. After that, I went to goes visit Twilight. She was a bit annoyed I showed up, but I know she loves to teach, so I asked to tell me a bit about friendship. Biggest mistake of my life, well besides being turned in to stone. Anyway, I was going to hang with Applejack, but she seemed really busy, so I just left her alone. I did some checking out, and asked the Princesses, to each do something for the party tonight. So I have been pretty busy. How about you, well besides meeting with the Princesses and spreading kindness all over Equestria? And I sent her a dashing smile.

”Let me guess, some of your checking out including checking up on me every now and then. What else did you do on your checking out? And maybe a little more detail on Applejack.” She speculated.

”Well, I did check up on you twice, and well, Applejack. She was with a visitor, and they seemed to be having fun, and doing some things on their own. Nothing wrong, but I decided to give them some Privacy. I would tell you, but I don’t think Applejack would appreciate it. Pinkie was planning the party with a male alternative. He was a Macaroni and cheese orange with a brown poofy mane. No, Pinkie didn’t use my magic to make him.” I explained.

”Cheese Sandwich! Now I can understand your confusion. He is another party pony inspired by Pinkie,and us basically her male alternative. Continue” She exclaimed.

”Well, that explains a lot. Back to the others. I checked out Rarity and her, I guessed her supposed feline on line legs love interest in a fancy restaurant. Oh and he was wearing a cap.[”/i]

Capper! We met him when we on our journey to stop the Storm King. So, he is a real gentleman, and him and Rarity hit it off. She told me.

”Twilight was with a orange stallion with a blue mane, and Rainbow Dash was with a light blue stallion. They looked so much alike, I thought that he was her brother. I used my trusty Chaos magic though and found out they weren’t. Now, anymore questions, or are you going to tell me about your day? I was getting kind of bored talking about me and I did want to know what she had been doing outside of me checking up on her previously.

She giggled and said I was like you said, talking with the other Princesses today. They wondered how you were. Later, I was spreading kindness across Equestria, but I decided to also celebrate your day today. So I also spread some chaos too. I also asked Rarity to make me a dress earlier today. One of the things I 1st did. I probably was there before you got there.”

”Gee, thanks for thinking of me in your duties today. At this point I was kind of getting a little hot, And I think blushing a little. Uh, quick question! Are you going to the party later tonight, and if so, are you g-going with anypony e-else? I managed to sputter very nervously.

Fluttershy looked at me like she couldn’t believe I would ask such a thing. Discord! Of course I’m going to be there. Why wouldn’t I be? She smiled and continued Of course I’m going to be there. She paused and then said And, no I’m not going with anypony.

I actually sighed in relief and accidentally said Oh good! You had me worried for a sec. Fluttershy looked absolutely puzzled.

Uh, w-what I really meant to say is I was kind of worried you were. Because I sort of was wondering if you would go with me.

I somehow don’t even know how I managed to ask. When I quickly realized I was basically asking the most wonderful pony ever on a date, I added very fast A-as my Guest of Honor of course. I mean you were my 1st friend ever, and to have stuck to my side no matter what. I can’t imagine any other pony, or creature for that Matter of fact any better suited. Anypony that I can lo-. Uh... Enjoy more than Chaos itself, I think would be perfect for the job. What da ya say?

Those few seconds before she answered passed in eternity. I couldn’t believe I had almost confessed love to her. If that wasn’t bad enough, I felt like I just almost proposed. I betted I was beet red at that moment. As I looked at fluttershy, I saw her mouth open a bit, with a little pink in her cheeks, before she broke into a grin that could have rivaled, no, beat Pinkie’s best of the best. She leaped. And, before I could calculate what had happened, I heard Fluttershy almost screaming with excitement

YES YES YES!!! I would love to.

I was totally blushing at this point. I managed to get control of my emotions before speaking. I grinned as a friend way saying Great. Can We teleport there 6:30 tonight?

Fluttershy with what I could have almost sworn was a faint blush across her cheeks had replied of course. I said Great
And teleported out of there, now free to freak out. I couldn’t believe she had said yes, that I had said the things I did, or that I was acting like a complete spaz here and now. I took a couple of deep, deep breaths, and told myself that I had not just made a complete fool of myself. That I handled things with a couple of pauses, and that tonight would be one of the best of my entire life. I calmed down, and decided just to enjoy myself that night.

Later, I went over to Fluttershy’s cottage decked out in my new tux. Just before I knock, I summoned a bouquet of flowers that when Fluttershy held them to sniff, they would spurt out butterflies. I knocked and When Fluttershy came out I finally saw her dress. She was wearing a black and white zigzag dress with red shoulders and a red rose in her mane. She looked very dramatic. But, oh Celestia, did she look gorgeous.

So when we got to the party, I told Fluttershy to wait at the buffet table while I made my grand entrance, and then we would get together. She agreed. So I very quickly went to DJ-PON-3 and Octavia to ask them when I gave the signal to start playing a tango. So with that taken care of, I alerted Pinkie to start the beginning of my grand entrance. She nodded and I got into position. The smoke started, along with the bullets, and some creepy music on the stage in the middle of town Square. I heard Pinkie start the introduction. Well, her and Cheese Sandwich.

Yes! Let this day be marked as the 1st ever Discord Day, where he spreads fun chaos for everyone to enjoy.

So they said together Without further adue, He is... DISCORD!!!

With that I appeared on stage with a puff of smoke with a microphone Thank you, thank you! Such A pleasure to be here. I would like to give thanks to the Princesses for their corporation in tonight. Princess Luna for doing some amazing constellations, Twilight for uh, well her presence, Cadence for helping with a plan of mine tonight, and Princess Celestia for allowing this wonderful party and helping provide some entertainment with a part time dunk tank. My thanks also goes out to all Ponyville for attending. Thanks to the CMC for helping to part time catering. To the cello playing Octavia and a wonderful DJ. With that now out of the way, I will present you with The Guest of Honor, FLUTTERSHY!!!

All the ponies started stamping their hooves in applause. And with a rise and a drop of a butterfly curtain, fluttershy appeared.

May I have this dance? I asked with a bow. Fluttershy took my paw with a faint blush on her cheeks. As she did, DJ and Octavia started the tango music. As I was dancing with Fluttershy, Cadence started the match making. She didn't need to Rarity and Capper, because they started dancing on their own. She started with Twilight and her guest. She gently persuaded them that they should enjoy the 1st dance. That worked for them. With Pinkie and Cheese, all she had to do was tell them that her and the CMC had the party under control, and that they should go have fun. They went on the dance floor with a slight blush apiece. Rainbow dash and her stallion she only got on the floor challenging them to dance with each other for a couple of dances. They seemed to be enjoying it so much, they danced almost the whole night only pausing to get some refreshments and go in the garden. As she went to go do Applejack and Spike, Spike with a big blush asked AJ to dance. She accepted and they did the same thing as Dash and her friend. So, mission match making was accomplished, and a success.

After Fluttershy and I were done dancing, I took her out to show her Luna special constellations. We ended up just talking for a while. It started getting late, and Fluttershy was getting tired. So we went to the stage and and I bid all of Ponyville a good night, and that the party would be over in about an hour. Before I took Fluttershy home, we met up with her friends.

Rainbow dash introduced us to Soarin, her new colt friend. All the rest of us gave them our congratulations. Twilight had us meet her already colt friend, Flash Sentry. They had been an item for a few months. I was kind of to really surprised that TWILIGHT, of all ponies, already had a colt friend. I guess you can learn new things about your friends everyday. Pinkie and Cheese were going to start dating, this night counting as their 1st date. I was glad that they were getting together. They are already so much alike. When Applejack's turn cam up, I was kind of excited the most and really interested about her and spike's relation. They were um, also a new thing, you know, item. Although I didn't show it at the time, my mind was in full celebration. I don't know what it was about them, but it seemed to make the most sense. Well, them, as well as Pinkie and Cheese. They asked me and Fluttershy where we were. At this point, I was totally racking my brains for a good answer. When Fluttershy piped up and told them that we were figuring things out, and to see where things went. I myself was a little surprised at the answer, but did a mental agreement. It did sound like where we were. I was going to talk about it with Fluttershy when we got back to her cottage. The others nodded, and turned to Rarity to see about her and Capper. Turns out they had been dating for a while, and tonight, they got engaged. We gave them cheers, and they said soon that the wedding plans would be made.

When we did get back to Fluttershy's cottage, I told her that I thought her answer was very accurate. She wanted to know my thoughts. And, well, I told her we had been friends for long time now, and that I was willing to move forward at a pace that suited Fluttershy. She had smiled and agreed, and she said she would love to take things up a notch. We decided to talk about it either in the morning, or on our Tuesday Teatime. And she did something that I will treasure forever. She gave a quick peck on the cheek before going inside.

Long story short, we started dating not to long after. During helping with Rarity's wedding plans, she mentioned that she had kind of foreseen our getting together on that night, and had colored coordinated our outfits to kind of look like the colors and designs that had to something with our special somepony other. The rest of the Mane 6 seemed to have smooth sailing. I reported to the princesses not to long after to tell them all that had happened. They, of course, were delighted. And everything turned out well in the end.

Fast forward to now, I am about to propose to Flutters, and everypony else, well. They are a different story. So stay tuned!

Author's Note

This was originally suppose to be about fluttershy is best pony, but I decided to have some fun and expand. So, my original idea has turned into i think a more interesting story. I also included my favorite ships. Overall, I did include the result for best pony, as well as the most popular fluttershy ship, fluttercord. This is a bit in the future where spike has grown a bit, so he is a bit bigger. about the size of Discord. and yes, he does have wings. this story was really fun to write. the picture was just a picture of fluttershy's dress i found on google and thought it might give a idea of what my dress look like. I was thinking of writing a sequel of where pinkie is the alicorn and maybe from her point of view. It also might just be another chapter, although, I did really want to keep this a one shot story. what do you think. A sequel or another chapter? I was also thinking on making either a sequel or even a threequel depending on the answer for Pinkie as an alicorn, on the points of view from the other main 6, and maybe the princesses on this story. And about the ending. Considering that I plan to do more, it only seemed right to end on a cliffhanger to keep the readers hooked and begging for more!
