The cold breeze from the mountains around could be heard clearly through the small chatter of venders and buyers. Ian was on grocery duty today. Picking up carrots, hay, apples, and more necessities. He walked down the stone paved path leading to the market from his parents house. He saw his friends playing hide-and-seek, behind some barrels and crates, then met up one of his best friends; Twisted Thunder, who was the one that was ‘It’. “How’s it going Ian?” Exclaimed the smiling red unicorn with a happy tone. “You up for some tag?” “I would love to, but my parents put me on grocery duty.” Ian replied with a sigh. “I’ll see you around, Got stuff to do.” “Ok, we’ll be here if you want to play!” Yelled the unicorn at his friend. Twisted then jumped behind a barrel, startling Ian. When he landed behind a slight scream was heard, and it was not Twisted’s. “Gotcha!” He yelled aloud as a blue Pegasus walked slowly out from behind the barrel with it’s head down. “Your it!” He said quickly tapping the Pegasus on the shoulder, before galloping away. The Pegasus darted toward the unicorn, away from Ian. Ian began walking down the path again, heading towards the market, when a bright light caught his attention. He stopped abruptly, glaring at the distant light. ‘What is that?’ Ian thought to himself walking slowly toward the light. The light was in a dark alley branching off from the main path. As Ian closed in, the noises of people chatting drew away quickly. All he could hear was the gentle breeze of the mountains passing through the small village. He stopped, and realized he was close to the light. It shinned magnificently and majestic. Ian had to hold it, for the sheer joy of its being may make him feel even more happy on this wondrous day. He slowly put his hoof out ever so slowly to touch it. When his hoof hade contact nothing happened. He then grabbed it and brought it in closer for inspection. Suddenly the ground began to shake violently. He let go of the light and planted his hoof on the ground to steady himself. “HELP!” Yelled somepony behind Ian. He quickly turned around to noticed a limping green earth pony with a gash along his right foreleg and a large wooden plank piercing through his side. “Fire.... help... family-” The pony was cut short, by the loss of blood. The lifeless corpse fell to the floor with a "thump". Ian quickly ran back onto the market path and saw houses on fire! He stood in the middle of the path with burning homes all around him. Screams were heard everywhere around Ian. The town was chaotic as ponies fell out of windows, galloped away from flames, and buildings falling upon each other, trapping innocent souls within their burning interior. He gallopped the opposite way of the market, darting for his parents house. When he was in range of sight of his home, he stopped and stared, with an emotionless expression, at his family’s house. The building was falling apart with roaring flames inside and out. He heard the screams of his mom, dad, and foal sister inside the house. He braced himself to run in and save them, but was stopped when the house suddenly fell off its beams, crashing into a pile of burning rubble. The screams had stopped abruptly, only the crackle from the flames as they ate away at the one place that he called home. The crackling sounded like a mocking laugh. Ian fell to the ground and began to cry. His family, his home, his friends and neighbors where destroyed right in front of him. He couldn't handle the all the emotional drama that he had just been put through. It was to much for his mind, his mind cracked, like a black spider web, on a white background. His face lost all emotion as he fell on his side, blackness tinted his vision. He could vaguely hear the distant sobs coming from the city as the remaining survivors cried for the deceased and injured, before all faded to black. The Purple Earth Pony Part 2Ian was standing on top of a mountain, overlooking his hometown, with a smile on his face. The cold wind rolling softly off his purple coat, the fresh air in his lungs, he was content. He looked down at his home where his family lives, and noticed himself walking away with two saddlebags on. He saw himself chat with Twisted, before walking down an alley, away from the main street. Ian was starting to feel uneasy watching himself. Short images of fire, and blood filled his sight. Ian trembled a bit and closed his eyes. He opened them slowly, his sight was greeted with fire engulfing everything. All the memories flooded back to Ian, bringing back the fear as well. Ian shuddered in fear while laying down, covering his eyes with his forehooves. He heard the painful screams of innocent ponies dying, and suffering in the flames. The noise of crashing buildings and screams abruptly stopped. All Ian could hear was the wind behind his ears. He lowered his hooves and opened his eyes, only to find himself sitting in front of a large pile of scotched rubble. As he glanced at the rubble only one thought entered his mind, ‘No…’. He stood up slowly then began walking over to the charred doorway where his house once belonged. He stopped under the burnt arch of the doorway, staring into what was left of his house. White ash flooded the floor, covering most of the non-flammable furniture. He noticed two large piles of white ash, right next to each other, connecting at a single point. He was curious at the shape of the piles. So, he walked slowly into his house, leaving hoof prints in the white ash that covered the floor, before he came to a complete stop. Approximately three feet away from the piles. “No…” Ian murmured to himself as he glanced at the two piles. He walked faster toward the piles and began to wipe off the ash. He began to cry. What he found was his scotched mother and father, holding hooves, before they died. Ian couldn't bare to think of his foal sister. So, he just galloped out of his house, fast, all the while adverting his eyes from all of the scorched piles of ash around him. He ran far, all the way to the outskirts of his town. When he spotted the town sign, he stopped and sat down next to it. He sat there wallowing in his tears, hugging the sign that said; Lottamon Location: Canterlonian Mts. Occupation: Trade and Agriculture We welcome all! Ian stopped sobbing after a while. He just stared at the valleys leading away from Lottamon. “What do I do? What can I do? Where do I go?” he yelled out loud. These questions needed answers and fast. “I am just a colt in this big world. I cant even fend for myself…” Ian sighed. “I have to do something! I’ll just-” He stopped talking momentarily and stood up, looking into the valley again, “go there.” he said, pointing a hoof at a far distant town in the green valley bellow. His goal was set; get to a town and get help. Ian started walking down the stone path, not once, looking back. The sky began to darken after an hour of walking, Ian just felt miserable. He was not used to this much walking, let alone not having something to eat or drink. All he had was a saddlebag on each of his sides, and ten bits. He spotted a local Inn, a bit off the main road, and headed toward it. He came to the door and noticed a small amount of ponies inside. Ian walked in slowly making his way toward the counter. There was a large, blue stallion at the booth with a bored look on his face. Ian trotted up to him. “Hello mister, how much for a room? Ian said to the Inn keeper. “Four bits for a night.” Replied the stallion in a deep voice. “Hey, aren’t you too young to be here all by yourself?” “Well, yes… but-” Ian began to say, before being cutoff by the Inn keeper. “Where are your parents?” asked the confused stallion. Ian just froze, glaring at the stallion intensely. “Oh.. Um no need to be tense!” added the stallion, with a scarred look on his face. “How ab-about I lower the price to three bits. Yeah?” “Okay!” Replied Ian smiling, letting his glare relax. “Um kid… what's with your eyes?” asked the stallion. “Like, your eyes just turned red when you were glaring at me, just like that.” Ian was confused at his words. “My eyes?” Asked the confused purple pony. “Red? My eyes are blue! How can they be red?!” Ian said, a bit frustrated. The inn keeper flinched at his response. “Here… see for our self!” The stallion said, quickly pulling out a small mirror from a drawer, and placing it on the booth. Ian stared at it in shock. His eyes were red, and that’s not all that changed. His pupils sharpened into cat like eyes. As he rested his gaze, his eyes began to change. The pupil enlarged into an oval, and his iris changed back into a turquoise blue color. “Wha…” Was all Ian managed to say. “Nevermind that, I’ll deal with it later. Here's the three bits.” Ian handed the three shiny gold pieces to the owner. “Your room number is number ‘4’. Have a nice night kid.” Replied the blue stallion. With that said, Ian began trotting over to a small flight of stairs leading into the second story of the Inn. He climbed up the stairs, and noticed a hallway of doors. There where five doors in total. Ian peered at each one to the one marked with a ‘4’. His eyes caught the number and he started walking towards it. He reached a hoof out and opened the door. He walked slowly in, closing the door behind him, then took in his surroundings. It was not that special, but just a traditional cottage room. Ian was content on how the room looked. He pulled off his saddlebags, and tossed them over to the corner of the room. He jumped onto the bed, planted his head on the pillows, pulled on the sheets to cover him, and slowly closed his eyes. Letting his mind drift off into the plain of dreams. The Escape to Equestria... or notFrostbite Rune couldn’t get over all of the bad memories stored inside his head. He tried many ways to relieve the sorrows he kept bottled up in his heart and mind, but none of them worked. The best way for him to relax was to take a journey to Equestria. He have been planning to go for a long time, never knowing when he would really leave. The chance came when a letter from a courier ship came to his doorstep. The ship's captain sent him this letter saying that he is welcome to sail for free, because he was very much appreciated for the favors Frostbite Rune has done for him. He had shown him what to truly believe in. He had long sought this opportunity and accepted the invitation. The main reason for his departure was for the easing of his more painful memories, and mainly for experiencing a new land with wonderful opportunities to change his life. He decided to leave the camp the next night so he could pack his saddlebags with his belongings. He couldn’t wait to get to the wonderful land of Equestria. His mind raced with ideas of what he could be for himself and not what others decided for him. So he leaped onto his bed and laid down. It was hard for him to sleep because of his anxiety. Sooner or later, he surrendered to the fatigue that suddenly filled him and fell asleep softly. Frostbite stood before the vessel he was sailing to Equestria on. He took in all the details of the ship, noting the dual masts and sturdy design. “Is everything ready for my departure?” Asked the jittery blue unicorn, "I cant wait to see Equestria, and get away from this madness!” “We're just about ready, son” Said a voice as a red stallion pegasus flew down before Frostbite, “All we need to do now is to put you in and we are ready!” The Unicorn smiled at him. “Thank you, you have been extremely helpful on this project. I hope you find your sanity in this barren land.” exclaimed the unicorn while glancing at the rows of dead trees, dried up and fruitless dirt, and the dark and hazy sky. “No problem! Just hop on board and lets get you out’ a here!” Said the red Pegasus as he jumped up and flew towards the ship. Frostbite followed behind slowly, looking at the ground he would never see again. A bit of guilt crossed his mind, but was drowned out by his excitement and joy. A loud *boom* rang out suddenly. This frightened Frostbite, so he picked up his head and looked into the direction of the sound. He stopped suddenly, letting his jaw hang from his mouth as he gazed upon blazing inferno that now covered the majority of the ship. Screams could be heard as ponies went diving off the sides of the ship into the water below. The flames continued to roar hungrily and engulfed even more of the ship, as if the screams intensified its insatiable desire to burn all in its path. Some ponies were stuck inside the ship, doomed to be reduced to nothing but piles of burnt remains. A few moments passed and the screaming and roaring continued, until a second, larger explosion shook the vessel once again. This time, not even the sturdy galleon could handle the explosive force of the blast, and the charred and broken skeleton of what was once a proud sailing vessel sunk beneath the waves. Amidst the flying wood and metal debris shook apart from the ship were the bloodied and gory remains of ponies who were unfortunate enough to be caught directly in the second explosions path. The mangled body of the captain landed right in front of Frostbite, causing him to turn away in horror and disgust. He stood there awestruck, paralyzed with terror as he gazed upon what little was left of the vessel he was about to embark on. “HELP ME!” A voice appeared behind Frostbite and he turned quickly to notice a turquoise earth pony on the ground with his two back legs reduced to pitiful, bloody stumps. Frostbite ran toward the weathered pony and used his telekinesis magic to levitate the dying pony off the ground. “What happened!?” He yelled at the unlucky survivor, “What caused this?! I was to be sent to Equestria!” At those words the pony slowly closed his eyes and stopped moaning in pain. What Frostbite was levitating was now a lifeless corpse, the hollow shell of one who had died. He set the body down slowly onto the ground, and collapsed onto his haunches. He peered at the corpse of the pony with thoughts running thought his mind. He slowly began to REALLY realize what just happened. His face went blank while his jaw dropped and his pupils narrowed. “WHY!?” He yelled into the sky. Tears began to form in his eyes and he started to feel weightless. He noticed himself levitating into the air by his own magic. A red aura appeared around Frostbite swallowing him entirely, revealing only blurry silhouette of himself. His body began to change, claws started to appear on him, large falcon wigs appeared on his sides, his hair grew longer, and his horn grew bigger and sharper. When the horn was completed, the bubble popped, sending him to the floor. He did not land on the ground, instead he caught himself with his wings and began to float upward. His entire thought process changed from sadness, into rage. He let out a loud scream of terror throughout the land, shaking trees and hills around him. He looked down at the dead pony and his pupil sized changed from wide circles into small dots. Tears began to flow from his eyes. A few blinks later, he fell to the floor with a loud *Thump*. He just laid there on the ground with his eyes closed. He lost his connection with reality, and his brain slowly spun toward the dream realm. The AlchemistThe night was upon Equestria and all of it’s land. Everywhere, ponies laid in their beds and dreamed. Animals retreated to their dens, and nocturnal creatues awoke from their slumber to roam the cool darkness that engulfed their home. Luna's moon was in its place in the sky, bathing the landscape in its dull glow and in most places was the only light that could be seen. The Everfree Forest was silent, this silence only occcasionaly being punctured by the sounds of a passing animal. Amidst this dark silence was the ruins of the old castle the royal sisters had once used. Unlike the surrounding forest, however, the castle was not completely at rest. A light shone from one of the old ruined windows, and the sounds of somepony frantically working could be heard. There was one pony inside the castle, it was Radneon. He had been studying at the royal castle ruins in the Everfree Forest for quite some time now. He lived there, working day and night. His studies mainly included alchemy and magic. He may of been just a Pegasus, but he was still fascinated with magic. It seemed so captivating to him. All ponies had some form of magic or another, earth ponies having their farming abilites and physical prowess increased, and pegasi having the weight reducing and wing augmenting abilites that allowed them to fly. Unicorns had actual control of thir magic, using their horns to amplify and direct it. Because their magic went elsewhere, they were not as strong or resilient or other types of ponies. But alicorns, they had it all. They had earth ponies' strength, pegasi's flying, and unicorns' magical spells, not to mention immortality. Radneon wanted this for himself, so becoming an alicorn was his greatest goal. He found alchemy to be interesting, because it’s like magic in a bottle. So he had decided that he would achieve his goal through alchemy. This night was different from all of the work filled days he spent working on a ‘secret’ project. He has been working on this project for a year. It was costly to him, it required so many ingredients that are rare to come across. He had found the last ingredient earlier today. It was a bright purple rose with a red stem and he just stumbled onto it. It was peculiar, he found it on the way to the Zecora’s hut from the castle. He was going to ask where to find this plant, but he already found it. Now, he stood over a bizarre arrangement of flasks and glass test tubes. Over in the distance, a large cauldron could be seen. The cauldron was filled with a glowing green liquid that was like syrup. He trotted over to it holding onto the flower with one of his wings. He peered down into it for a short moment, and tossed the flower into it making bubbling sound as it made contact with the goo. The flower quickly melted into the liquid, a few seconds later the red and purple blended with the green, and the entire liquid began to shrink. The level of liquid in the pot had been close to being full, now it was quickly lowering. The Pegasus looked a bit surprised as his creation slowly become smaller. After a minute has passed, the goo was shaping itself into a small cube. The goo stopped shrinking and left only the cube, which started to glow green. “What…” Radneon mumbled, “Ok, that was strange. It doesn’t change its purpose to me.” He exclaimed reaching a hoof into the cauldron picking up the bright cube. “This will definitely make me an Alicorn! Oh what joy! All this preparation and endless work I have done, is finally being rewarded.” He then opened his mouth wide, and threw the cube into his mouth. It tasted bland, but he just chewed away at it. He swallowed it and let out a loud burp. His body began to shake violently. His eyes began to change and become brighter. A second after the brightening of his eyes, his body stopped trembling. He then walked to a mirror that was on the wall next to the flasks. He was very disappointed as he gazed at his body. “My eyes… is that all?” He yelled at the mirror, “I spent long months working on this and all it dose is make my eyes illuminate? What mockery is this?!” He then punched the mirror with his right forehoof, shattering it into pieces. His mind was racing with question, ‘What did I do wrong? Was it the flower? Was it me?’. “Oh don’t be so crude…. The mirror didn’t mess up your huge project.” A male voice suddenly came from the back of Radneon’s mind. “I did.” After this was said, Radnoen’s body began to tremble again. He dropped to his hooves and peered at the broken glass on the mossy floor. There was something moving around the glass. Radneon knew what it was, but couldn’t believe it. “Oh so you do know me. How fun! How about we have a small chat in the chaos realm, it’ll be fun!” Said the voice in a sarcastic tone. Radneon couldn’t move, his eyelids began to slowly descend over his eyes. His eyes shut closed and his mind raced with imagination and soon he lost all consciousness. The Mysterious VoiceKione was traveling on his merry way through Ponyville. He had just stopped by the closest town to restock up on some of his supplies for his traveling. He was hoping to take a shortcut through the Everfree forest, and maybe take a stop by the local Zebra herbalist to purchase some herbs. However, some of the locals decided it was their task to inform Kione about the dangers that dwelled inside the Everfree. “Don’t go in there! The weather happens on its own!” Exclaimed a random mare Kione walked past. “Well, milady, that’s very nice of you to tell me, but I really need to keep to my schedule,” he said, walking past the mare. “Animals take care of themselves!” shouted a brown stallion, as he stepped in front of Kione. “Well, I’m sure I can handle them if they become too curious, but I seriously need to go,” he said quickly, before galloping away from the populace, and into the Everfree. ‘Yeesh, talk about touchy. I would have had them decapitated for standing in my way!’ A voice within Kione's head spoke out. ‘That is where you and I differ, Mactans.’ Kione responded. ‘I told you to call me by my full title! King Latrodectus Mactans, King of the Changelings!’ The changeling king exclaimed. ‘Well, sorry to burst your little egotistical bubble, but you were dethroned over three thousand years ago, and trapped inside this blasted mask that you created.’ Kione mentally jabbed. ‘Point taken…’ Nodding to his minor victory, Kione continued his walk down the barely visible dirt path. Twenty minutes later, Kione arrived in a clearing that held a cottage within a tree. Said tree was decorated with masks and other items that Kione guessed was native from the occupant’s home land. He walked up to the door, and knocked his hoof on it a few times. *Knock* *Knock* *Knock* The door was opened by a Zebra. She was with no doubt younger than him, but she seemed to be doing fine living on her own within the Everfree. “Ah, hello there, I just wish to purchase some herbs, and then I’ll be right out of your mane.” Kione said quickly, hoping that she would comply, despite him being a stranger. “Come in quick, for I have potions to mix,” the zebra said with rhythm, stepping aside to let him in. They had a nice conversation about herbs as Kione browsed through her goods. He picked up a few medical herbs, for obvious reason, before he started to continue on his journey. “Thank you again, Miss Zecora.” “Till we meet again, masked one.” Kione struggled to follow the dirt path, however, all his struggles were in vain, as he still somehow lost the trail. ‘Well, as long as I keep going straight, it shouldn’t matter…’ Kione thought to himself. ‘Just keep telling yourself that, I’m sure you’ll get far.’ The changeling's voice sounded within Kione's head. ‘Then perhaps you could help me, Oh so great, King of the Changelings.’ The masked pony responded. ‘Well, you could just follow that guy, over there.’ Looking over to where Mactans mentally directed, Kione saw a cloaked pony. A wad of green hair could be seen sticking out from under the mysterious pony’s hood. As Kione got slightly closer, he could see that the pony was interested in a purple rose. The mysterious figure examined the rose for a few more moments, before plucking it from the ground, stashing it within it’s cloak, and trotting away. Deciding to act quickly, Kione carefully followed the mysterious pony, lagging behind enough as to not be seen. A style of bob and weave was used as Kione hid behind every tree and bush, as to not be seen. However, this pattern was soon set to a halt as the cloaked pony walked into a large clearing that held a castle that lay in ruins. Kione wasn’t too keen on walking into clear sight, but he was willing to risk it as his curiosity was rising. He ever so cautiously made his way towards the castle. As he got closer, he could hear the mysterious pony talking to itself. Though, it, shouldn’t be used if what the voice sounded like confirmed the pony’s gender. The stallion, or colt, inside the building yelled something about his eyes and something about a mockery. All noise seemed to stop, when suddenly a loud crash was heard. Kione quickly ran into the castle, hoping that the pony inside was okay. When he made it to where the crash sounded from, he saw a green Pegasus laying on the floor, shards of glass surrounding him. Upon closer examination, Kione noticed that the Pegasus was unconscious. ‘Do you feel it Kione?' The king's voice sounded. ‘Feel what?’ ‘There’s an evil spirit inside his body, his state of unconsciousness is not natural, by any means.’ ‘What do you suggest we do?’ Kione thought, as he paced around the room, looking for anything out of the ordinary. ‘I suggest that you let me take a look and see if I can disperse of the spirit.’ Kione stopped all of his movements, taken aback from Mactans’ kindness. ‘Alright, but don’t do anything funny, like last time.’ Kione walked up to the green Pegasus’s body, and set his hoof against said Pegasus’s head. There was a visible flash from the mark on Kione’s for hoof. ‘Ah, just as I thought, something is keeping him unconscious.’ ‘Well, hurry up. This place is giving me the creeps.’ Kione kept looking behind him, feeling as though he were being watched. ‘Hmm, okay, I’m going to try an- Ahhh!’ ‘What! What is it?’ Kione backed away, retracting Mactans’ soul from the Pegasus’s body. ‘It’s Discord! Kione, we need to get out of here!’ “Aww, leaving already?” Said a voice from all around them. “And here I thought you would actually be one of the more willing ones.” “Discord… I have no quarrel with you!” Kione said, although Mactans seemed to fear for his life. ‘Kione, get out of here! Remember what I told you about the making of this mask, Discord helped form it, he has power over you!’ “Ah! Latrodectus, buddy! How have you been? It’s been eons since we last talked!” Discord's voice rebounded across the room. “Discord, what do you want?” Kione was slowly back up towards the door, only to have it slam forcefully shut. “What could little old me want? Oh, I don’t know, spread chaos, have fun, and to be free!” Discord’s reflection was seen within the shards on the ground, as he danced about. “Oh, you have no idea how one thousand years in a stone prison can make someone so stir crazy.” “While I have never been within a stone prison, I have a feeling that I know how it is being locked away for one thousand years. But that aside, what do you want from me?” Kione said, standing in the defensive, as to make sure he isn’t caught off guard. “Well, I would just like you to take a little step through this portal, and have a little chat with a few friends. No harm done, guaranteed!” As said, a dark purple portal appeared, Discord’s reflection now within the portal. “You aren’t lying, are you? I know very well that you hold control over me, so attacking me would do you no good.” Kione said, stopping in front of the portal, looking Discord straight in the eyes. “As you said, what would I gain from attacking you? Blasphemy I say!” “Alright…” Kione stepped through the portal, Mactans being silent the whole way. The other side of the portal, it was black. Not dark, just black, as in black ceiling, black walls, and black flooring. All just… black. As Kione looked and observed the area, he spotted the green Pegasus from before, talking to a shrouded figure. “I demand to be returned to my realm, immediately! I have work that must be completed!” The Pegasus exclaimed to the shrouded figure. “But where’s the fun in leaving, before the party even started. Surely you must know that you must not leaving meetings adjourned before they’re started!” The shrouded figure verbally fought back. “I-I.. I never even wanted to be a part of this meeting, and quite frankly you messed up my biggest project!” The Pegasus again yelled out, mostly due to frustration. “Ah, Kione, wonderful of you to join us!” The shrouded figure turned towards Kione as said pony walked over. “Perhaps it is, but I do believe there was something you wanted to talk about. Not just verbally bash against this pony’s mentality,” he said, walking next to the Pegasus, who took a step to the side, slightly intimidated from Kione’s taller stance. “Ah, you’re too right! Thank you for reminding me, Kione. I would have surly forgotten, and would have just kept talking to Radneon here.” The shrouded figure raised a claw and snapped, bringing first a young, dark purple earthpony. “Wha- where am I?” The purple pony shook his head, before looking over to Radneon and Kione. “Apparently you’re in the realm of chaos, while intriguing as it may be, I certainly do not wish to be here anymore!” Radneon said, obviously not liking the situation one bit. “Umm, okay…” The purple earthpony looked slightly confused, before giving the shrouded figure a nervous glance. “What’s your name, kid?” Kione said, hoping to kill the tension in the air. “It’s Ian.” The pony, now named Ian, said. “Well, welcome to the realm of chaos, Ian. Yet, I have a feeling youre not the only one joining us,” the masked earthpony said, looking towards the shrouded figure for confirmation. “Once again, Kione, very helpful! Now for our last guess before we start our meeting!” The figure said happily, giving a little dance, before snapping his claw again, once again summoning the last pony needed for this meeting. A light blue unicorn fell, landing on his stomach with an, ‘Oof,’ before shaking his head and sitting up. He looked around the room, confused majorly. “Uhm, would somepony mind telling me where I am?” He asked, looking around. Radneon opened his mouth to say something, but Kione beat him to it. “You inside the Realm of Chaos, sent here by our friend,” as Kione paused, Discord dropped his shroud, revealing his mismatched self, “Discord.” Discord gave a slight bow, and followed up with the beginning of his “meeting.” “This meeting is hereby initiated!” The Meeting of Chaos Part 1“Now that all of you are here, we can get this party started!” Yelled the semi-dancing lord of chaos, “Ah, it seems like it was only a century ago when I last had a meeting like this, or was it eons? I can’t seem to remember…” Everyone gave a confused look at Discord, then each other. “Why am I here?” Ian exclaimed giving a icy glare at Discord. “My family died, my town burnt to the ground, and now I got teleported to some weird dimension without my permission!” Ian stare grew more and more intense at each word. Soon his eyes lit up bright red. “ So plea-” Ian began but was cut off by pain shooting up his body. Ian trembled. He began to curse under his breath as the pain grew larger. ‘What is happening to him?’ Kione thought to himself. ‘Well, if you were paying attention, you would obviously know he is… well… changing.’ Replied the king in Kione’s mind. Ian couldn’t stand the pain any longer, and let out a terrifying yell that startled everyone besides Discord. He was soon enveloped in darkness and reappeared quickly. His coat darkened immensely and his body changed. The purple streak in his mane became a neon red, so did the streak in his tail. He grew a bit larger, still not as tall as Kione but taller than everyone else. Then a bright red magic seal appeared on his flank glowing just like his eyes. His entire facial expression changed from confusion, to complete anger. Ian was gritting his teeth hard at Discord. Discord merely laughed. “Aha, quite the show you displayed, Ian, buddy! Truly a magnificent show. You truly are the perfect one to bear one of my remarkable gifts!” Discord exclaimed happily, as he patted the angry purple pony. “ARGH!” Ian yelled as he shook Discord’s claw off his head. Ian’s nostrils flared with anger as he glared at tall lord of chaos. All the ponies where left with mouths hanging open at the sheer force of Ian’s words echoed throughout the dark dimension shaking the matter that held up the walls. Kione was simply taken aback from Ian’s display of power. “What do you mean exactly by a ‘gift’, Discord?” Kione asked, being the only one to regain some of his bearings. “Oh, you know. Just a little of this,” Discord snapped his clawed fingers, letting a burst of chaotic magic, “and maybe a little of my insanity. But who needs sanity? It’s to normal, and overrated!” “That’s preposterous! Who in their right mind would force chaos magic into some random pony, and give insanity, you nitwit!” Exclaimed Radneon, as he stomped his hoof in frustration. ‘This is coming from the guy who has no life to begin with.’ The king said. ‘How would you know? I never even heard of this guy before.’ Kione thought back to the changeling. ‘Soul surfing grant’s access to all memories and feelings.’ “Well, hes not just any random pony…” Discord paused a moment for suspense and slightly giggled to himself, “he’s my brother!” Discord exclaimed to the now bewildered group of ponies, while throwing his hands in the air. Ian’s anger was overwhelmed by confusion, and fear as his jaw hung from his mouth. “WHAT!” Frostbite yelled behind the crowd of confused ponies. “He can’t be your brother! For one, he’s not even the same age as you! Two, he doesn’t even look like a fraction like you! Three, he-” “Shush, little pony! For it’s not even the best part!” Discord cut Frostbite off with a loud voice that echoed throughout the dimension. “Well, of course he’s not REALY my brother, he just has his soul.” “So, let me get this straight. You, not only, gave him your brothers soul, but immense chaotic power AND insanity?” Radnoen quickly added in. “Well, yes and no… but mostly yes.” Discord replied back to the bitchy Pegasus. “I didn’t exactly give him my brothers soul, Ian just stumbled upon it by chance.” “Do you mean that mysterious orb of light that I found?” Ian answered, making everyone flinch. “I made contact with it, and nothing happened. Tell me, what did that ‘soul’, as you say it, do?” “Well, for one, his soul merged with yours, Ian. Which also caused a wee little bit of chaos to escape from this dimension.” Discord assured to all of the ponies. Then Discord waved his hands once more in the air, and when did, flames and random clocks appeared behind him. “Wait… so the merging of our souls caused the fallout in my town?!” Ian replied yelling. Darkness again started to appear around Ian as he stared even more angrily at Discord. “Congratulations! You have won the smartest pony award!” Yelled discord in a cheery tone. Discord snapped his fingers again, and a loud stampede of clopping hooves came out form every direction. All that did was startle most of the ponies, and it made Ian even more angry. “Ian, just calm down. Close your eyes and take deep breaths, just concentrate on my voice and ignore Discord!” Kione yelled. “I’ll try…” Ian murmured following the tall pony’s instructions. He began to consentrate on Kione's words, and his anger slowly dissipated. ‘Whoa, when did you become the father figure?’ Exclaimed the bewildered changeling king. ‘I have no idea what you are talking about.’ Kione dismissed. ‘What ever you say Big Daddy.’ “Everypony… shut the buck up!” Frostbite yelled. “We are off track here! Why the buck are we here in the first place?!” Everyone, including Discord, flinched at those words. “Alrighty then.” Discord replied. “Your all here because you’re all are connected to the Elements of Chaos.” “Elements of Chaos? Sounds cliché to me…” Radneon announced. “Seriously, stop bitching it’s getting annoying…” Discord said, a bit disappointed. “The Elements of Chaos are like the Elements of Harmony… but not at all harmonic, more chaotic. You ponies have not been randomly chosen from this, all of you have a specific reason.” Discord then pointed his claw at Ian, “My brozy” Then pointed to Radneon, “The bitchy dragon-pony” Then pointed to Kione, “The mysterious masked pony with my B.F.F. trapped in his head.” Then pointed to Frostbite Rune, “And finally fillies and gentlecolts, our daemonic, highly magically talented, and our favorite blue unicorn… FROSTBITE RUNE!” Suddenly, loud noises of clopping could be heard again. It abruptly stopped after a whole minute. “Now… I am done beating around the candy bush. All of you are needed for my resurrection.” Discord then let out an evil laugh, so loud that it trembled the entire fabric of the chaos realm, startling, and severally confusing, all the ponies. "Dragon?! What the buck are you talking about?" Radneon angrily yelled in total confusion. The Meeting of Chaos Part 2“Oh yes! Remember the little cube that you ever so joyously ate, you thought that you would have become an Alicorn, but you became something so much better! An acid spitting dragon!” Discord replied to the bewildered alchemist. “No… its not possible! I followed the directions clearly for years!” Radneon yelled, “Every ingredient I added was correct! Just… that flower made the potion awkward in the end, but the flower was needed in the end! How could have it gone wrong?” “Oh, you mean that one random flower, that somehow mysteriously appeared on the route that you took every time to that castle of yours? Obviously someone by your standard would have noticed it was fake. It was a bit odd for the coloring of the thorns to be all red, without a hint of purple, was it not?” Discord replied. Radneon froze for a moment, then let out a loud gasp. “How could I not have noticed?! That flower wasn’t the one I needed, it was a Dragon’s wish!” Radnoen then facehoofed. “What is a ‘Dragon’s wish’?” Frostbite asked. “It’s a flower that female dragons would give to male dragons. The male would eat it, and if the male’s flame would turn purple, the male was truly in love with the female.” Radneon answered, “If anything that's not a dragon eats it, it would make them severely sick, maybe to the point of death.” “Then why aren’t yah sick?” Ian spoke out. “It must have been all the different ingredients I had in my cauldron, which must have altered the effect somehow…” Radneon answered, looking up at Discord. “Then why, ‘Discord’ haven’t I turned into one yet?” “Well, let's wait until sunlight and see what happens.” Discord replied with a wide grin. He then snapped his fingers and a bright light appeared above them. Everyone looked up startled, and then the light grew larger. It grew so large that it enveloped everyone around it. “Arrivederci! I’ll see you guys later!” Discord yelled behind the light. All the ponies, besides Kione, began to cover their eyes with their hooves to protect their sensitive pupils. Suddenly, all the ponies disappeared from the dimension. Ian’s rage was also consumed by the light as he felt weightless for a few moments. He then opened his eyes to find himself in a town market with Kione, Radneon, and Frostbite. “Hey lads, open your eyes…” Ian exclaimed to the group. One by one, they all opened their eyes with shocked looks on their faces. “If I remember correctly, then this is Ponyville Market. Funny how I was just here earlier today…” Kione mentioned. “I guess I didn’t make any progress today.” Kione laughed. Ian then looked down at the ground and noticed the same magic seal that was on his flank, now burnt in the ground where everyone was standing. “Hey Ian. Your back to normal I see.” Kione announced. Then everyone looked at Ian, he had shrunk down back to his normal size, his coat had lightened, his eyes had turned back to a sky blue color with his mane and tail becoming purple again, and the magic seal on his flank had disappeared showing only his purple coat. “I feel normal…” Ian looked at himself with a smile. “Um… guys. You should look around us.” Frostbite announced, making the three ponies flinch. Around them were a lot of staring, confused, and shocked townsponies. “What is going on here?” A female voice was heard within the crowd. Then a purple unicorn came out from the crowd walking towards the four ponies that were standing in the middle. The mare stopped three feet away from Ian and glared at the markings on the ground where they stood. “Hello. My name is Radneon and we-” Radnoen started then was cut short by a blue hoof slamming into the side of his head sending him toward the ground. “Finally, peace and quiet!” Frostbite yelled with his hoof still extended, glaring at the now unconscious Pegasus on the ground. Everyone around them gasped, including the purple unicorn in front of them. “I was about to do that.” Kione said nonchalantly, staring at Frostbite. “I’m guessing you four aren’t from Ponyville.” The purple unicorn stated, observing each of them. “You guessed right miss, we were-” Ian began bust was cut off by a loud voice in his head. ‘It would be best if you didn’t mention our meeting, unless you wanted to be attacked by a bunch of crazed townsponies, hmm?’ The voice said, and Ian assumed it was Discord himself. “You where saying?” the unicorn pointed out. “We were trying out a new long distance transportation spell.” Frostbite added in quickly, “And… well, we ended up here!” He said with a wide grin. “Alright then, welcome to Ponyville!” The unicorn announced, waving her forehooves in the air and the crowd of ponies cheered. She then planted her hooves back down on the ground. “My name is Twilight Sparkle! What may your names be?” “Ian Ceōl.” The purple earth pony replied in his Scottish accent. “Kione Evertune.” The masked pony added after Ian. “I am Frostbite Rune…” The blue unicorn added, then pointed to Radneon, “and this idiot here is Radneon, the alchemist.” “Well it's nice to meet all of you!” Twilight said. “Yes indeed. Can you show us to your town’s library?” Frostbite asked the purple unicorn. “Sure, and I could show you guys around… but what are we going to do about him?” She said, pointing to the unconscious Pegasus. “I got it.” Kione said looking at Frostbite. “Do you mind levitating him onto my back?” “Sure” Frostbite answered, using his telekinesis to slowly levitate Radneon onto Kione’s back. “Well, let's go.” Twilight added, then turned around and started walking toward a large tree with windows and a door in front. The rest of the group followed slowly behind as the crowd of ponies slowly dispersed, and then went back to their everyday lives. ‘We’ll talk more later, in the mean time...’ Discord whispered in Ian’s mind. ‘Have fun!’ Then the voice vanished into the earth pony's mind, leaving a confused and worried look on his face.
The Purple Earth Pony Part 1The market was calm today.
“You inside the Realm of Chaos, sent here by our friend,” as Kione paused, Discord dropped his shroud, revealing his mismatched self, “Discord.” Discord gave a slight bow, and followed up with the beginning of his “meeting.” “This meeting is hereby initiated!”
The Meeting of Chaos Part 1“Now that all of you are here, we can get this party started!” Yelled the semi-dancing lord of chaos, “Ah, it seems like it was only a century ago when I last had a meeting like this, or was it eons?
