Moonlight Dusk, daughter of Princess Luna and bat-pony Specter Dusk, is off to Ravenwood prep, a newly opened prestigious boarding school. With her is Illusion Blaze, the ultimate prankster and PonyTuber. There they meet the unicorn-siren Marella Star with the voice of an angel. What Moonlight doesn't know is that her new friend Shadow, son of King Sombra, was sent to spy on and possibly recruit her. And the King of Shadows himself is a lot closer to her than she thinks...... The four must work together to navigate their crazy teen years of fighting crime, defeating villains, harnessing their powers, and dealing with the prejudice they all face. And the hardest challenge of them all: Surviving middle school.
