Nightmare Moon's Revenge

Ah yes,The Summer Sun Celebration.The most wonderful event of Equestria,an event where Princess Celestia will raise the sun...

But are unaware of the events that's about to unfold,I guess somepony's waiting to cut the strings.

One of the Royal Guards has been patrolling the streets of Canterlot and entered a diner.

The diner was filled of ponies,chattering and excited for the Summer Sun Celebration.

The Royal Guard then sat down on the diner's counter,the waitress came by and gave the stallion a cup of coffee and the waitress wrote down the order.

"So,what will it be,the usual?"The mare asked.

"Sure."The guards politely replied.

"...Tomato Salad with no dressing..."She wrote down the order and left.

The Guard then waited until a unicorn approached the guard.

"Hey,uh,I'm sorry to interrupt your dinner,sir.But there's a stallion smoking over there.The corner booth..."The unicorn said.

The Guard sighed.

"Wait here,I'll have a word with him..."The Guard stood up and walked pass by some pony customers and finally confronted the smoking pony.

He tapped the pony on his back and said,

"Excuse me,sir.There's no smoking here..."

The pony grabbed him and he was all pitched black and his eyes were red,he snarled at him and threw him on the floor.

The Guard cleared his mind and saw the ponies,who looked like the smoker,were tearing each other apart.They tore each others skin and flesh until there's nothing left of them.

The Guard tried to get out of the diner as fast as he could,but was assaulted by one of the shadows.The pony then bashed him with a table.He bashed and bashed and bashed.

The ponies were terrified from what they're seeing.

The Royal Guard arrived and sealed the entire diner.

Princess Celestia arrived and inspected the presence and cause of why the ponies tearing each other apart

"Hmm...No..it can't be...No...No...It can't be..."She silently muttered.

She knew the only pony who can cause this kind of mayhem.Her sister's evil concussion.The tumor lurking on her head.

Nightmare Moon,there's no way she has returned!Her student banished her!Destroyed the evil tumor that took over her entire self.

"Guards...lock down the Castle...and make sure Luna gets protection."Celestia ordered.

"Very well,your highness..."The General said and galloped back to the palace.

"Where are you now,Moon?"

--Location:The Crystal Empire--
It was night at the Crystal Empire,everypony was asleep.Except Princess Cadance and Shining Armor who were tryingto make Baby Flurry Heart sleep by singing a lullaby that will send their child to sleep,but then...

BOOM!

A loud explosion was heard and the baby woke up crying.Princess Cadence grabbed her child immediately and asked her husband,

"What's going on?"She panicked.

He simply replied.

"I don't know,but stay here..."

He ran outside and found the soldiers gearing up for combat.

"What's going on,soldier?"Shining asked.

"We are under attack,captain!"The Soldier replied grabbing his spear.

"By whom?"

"I have no idea,Captain.But the attackers are outside of the Empire trying to bring down the barrier!"

Shining sighed.

"Of all the attacks we got,now it had to be right now?"

He geared up and rushed with guards and arrived at the barriers.

They looked at the barriers and saw various tanks trying to shoot down the Crystal Empire's barriers.

"Captain,what are those machines?"One of the guards asked.

He didn't answer.

He stepped forward and looked at their leader,he was wearing some kind of militaristic armor with a blue mask with glowing eyes.

"Wait.Everypony,cease your weapons..."Shining commanded.

"Captain,are you insane?!"

"Do as I command."

They lowered their weapons and saw the figure walking towards them he stopped at the barriers and glared at the Captain of the Crystal Guard.

He weakly chuckled.

"What's so funny?Do you think it's funny trying to attack this kingdom?And who are you?!"

"Oh,Captain,Captain,my dear Captain.It doesn't matter who we are...what matters is our plan.You should have lowered the barriers when you had the chance..."

The tank continued firing the crystals that keeps the barriers active.Until they finally brought down the barriers,soldiers were running inside the kingdom,helicopters were flying and dropping off militia personnel on the roofs of the Empire,tanks were rolling inside.

Shining Armor finally knew what it was.A military occupation.Le Coup D'etat.

"Fire!"One of the soldiers yelled aiming a crossbow at the Militia Commander who was walking and then attacked the soldiers with physical fighting styles.

After there was no soldiers left,Shining Armor charged on the Militia Commander,with a sword on his mouth.The Militia Commander pulled out his own medieval sword and prevented the Captain from delivering a hit to him.

"Impressive I must say.This is all but a child's play."He then kicked Shining Armor on the floor,and his sword broken.

Shining Armor tried to escape but only to be stopped the Militia Commander.

"Oh no,no,no,no.You're not going anywhere,old man,"He placed his hoof on Shining Armor's chest,"Gotta say,I thought you'd last longer than that."

"Please..please..you don't have to do this..."He begged for mercy.

"Groveling,old man?I expected more."He removed his hoof on his chest and knocked him out with his sword.

"I'm gonna enjoy watching your sister and her mentor die.Slowly and painfully...Oh,and don't worry about your child.I'm gonna take good care of her than you ever did."

He blacked out.

"Take him away."

The soldier nodded and dragged the pony's unconscious body into the dungeons.The Militia Commander continued and arrived at the castle room where Princess Cadence and her child are cowering in fear.

He approached them,Cadence tried to hit him with a blast,only to find out he survived the blast.

"But..but..-how?!"

"Oh,sweetheart.Magic-proof armor.It backfires any magic attack.Now,do me a favor and hand over the child."He said pointing his gun at her.

"Never!I will never do it!Not from the likes of you!"

He sighed.

"I'm gonna repeat it.Give me the child and you won't be hurt.Or he dies."

"W-what are you talking about?!"

"Oh,I defeated your husband in combat.He's fine really.Now,surrender the child to me."

Princess Cadence kissed her child's head and gave the child to the Militia Commander.

He looked at the child.

"Take her away."

"No!No!You can't do this!"Princess Cadence cried as she was being dragged on the floor.

"I guess I just did."

"You won't get away with this!My sister-in-law will stop you!"

He chuckled lightly.

"I'm looking forward to it."

Her scream was heard.He heard the child cry.

"Sh..sh..don't cry.little flower.Sleep.Sleep..."He said.

A few hours later,King Sombra arrived and impressed with the Arkham Knight's le coup d'etat.

"Wonderful work,Knight!I hope nothing has troubled you..."

"Of course not.The occupation was a success..."

He sat on the throne with the Crystal Heart on top.

"Mwahahaha....Long Live the King..."He said with an evil grin.
