It has been forty years since Equestria made a portal with Earth, and forty years the alliance was made with biped ponies and humans. Though things later in the years started to get hectic with the two connected dimensions. Crimes of great magnitude arose between the two connected worlds and greater threats were formed between the humans and anthropomorphic inhabitants that lived in Equestria. The government of both worlds didn’t know how to contain the overwhelming power of the combined power of magic and technology of the outlaws, but soon everything started to change as a new branch of law bringers was formed. There was a problem with the new branch as it was being formed.

Only a selected hand full were able to be in said branch. The ones selected were the ones to be compatible with a serum and suit, specifically created to fight off the convicts that roam the two worlds. The special unit that was formed are called ‘Mavericks’. The select few took a serum made with magic and tech that magically/biologically changed their DNA script. It also enhanced every little thing within the person/biped’s body. It also made them immortal, which meant they stopped aging, though they can still be killed, but would be incredibly hard for them to die. The serum only worked if it was compatible with the host, if not, the host would die.

Most of the selected few were of the inhabitants in Equestria and only one to be selected was a human.
