:Ather POV:
"Honey your breakfast is ready please hurry up and eat, so I can get you to school we don’t want you late on your first day now do we." I heard her voice like a distant echo in my half awake state.

"Yes mom." I replied with a groggy tone.

I jumped out of bed feeling my bones popping and my tired eyes open softly. I grab some clothes and I walk along my nice soft maroon carpet. It then transitions to nice hexagon tile floor as I turn on my shower.

I waited for it to get up, I had my outfit planned out nicely. I slowly saw steam start to boil out from behind the shower curtain. I adjusted the cold to a comfortable temperature. I got in I felt the warm water run down my tired from waking me up slightly.

grabbing some shampoo and putting some in my hand. I started running my fingers through my black hair. I felt all the oily and nasty type feelings being washed down the drain. I felt fresh I took out my scrunchy and put some body wash on that. I scrubbed down my tone chest to my nice firm stomach. I sighed by the nice feeling of warmth running over my body.

Eventually running some conditioner into my hair as well making it slightly poof and I liked that look. I got out of the shower and I dryer off the excess water dripping off my naked form. I dry off nicely and I brushed my teeth and smiled in the mirror then laughed at my own awkward smile. I slipped on some joggers and my black shirt and jacket with a nice scarf to top it off.

Last but not least I slipped my glasses onto the bridge of my nose. I looked in the mirror I smirked looked pretty good.

"Hurry your ass up!" She yelled in mock annoyance.

"Yes ma’am!" I said this in a that held a tiny bit of annoyance.

"Damn I swear she can be such an impatient person." I mumbled under my breath.

"I heard that!" Somehow she had heard me superhuman hearing who knows. I ran out of my room to the kitchen table. I sat down and ate fast but not disrespectfully.

"Wow look at my baby boy going to a new high school you look so handsome." She said it in a tone that held distance and nostalgia.

"Stop it mom it’s embarrassing." I said these words without thinking and I didn't think I would regret them well we all learn the hard way.

"Fine but you have to promise to play me on your video game later." I heard her giddy tone and couldn't help but put a confident edge on mine.

"Your on." I loved playing her she gets so frustrated.

I walked to the car, the brisk morning air making me smile as I realise how nice a day it is.

"Turns out I didn’t need this jacket or scarf after all." I again said this with a voice full of sarcasm and annoyance. We drove in silence. I rolled down the window and let in some cool air once it got too hot. I looked down at my bag with all my materials in it.

I played with the zipper as I listened to music on my phone. My mom laughed at the way I danced to the music. She then looked at me.

"We’re almost there so I want to tell you have a nice day." I saw her leaning in toward my cheek and I blushed dark red in embarrassment.

"Mom!? Don’t do that it’s so embarrassing!" I Ather was literally so embarrassed I wanted to jump out of the car window.

"Fine." My mother responded with fake disappointment.

We arrived and I was let out and told to go to the office to get my schedule. I walked along the beautiful campus that was CHS. I smiled at all the different kinds of people here. I heard my footsteps on the nice tile floors and the halls had desk aligning the walls.

I walked to the office and met up with the school faculty and got my schedule. Apparently they were going to start going by Tia and lulu to make the students feel more comfortable or something I’m not sure. I then walked into the cafeteria for breakfast. I noticed the nice food and picked what I wanted.

I jumped into a girl with rainbow dyed hair.

"Oh sorry didn’t mean to bump into you may I ask who you are." On the first day I bumped into someone just great.

"Rainbow is the name captain of every sports team!" She held a confidence in her words that I could tell she was the leader type.

"Oh really that’s pretty cool." I was genuinely fascinated with her she seemed nice yet still kinda cocky.

"Yeah I know I’m awesome!" Again she had that charisma. I laughed then we parted ways. I found a table with some people who looked friendly. I don’t really know anyone just trying to make some conversation. I didn’t want most of my food so I gave most away using that as conversation starters.

"Hello darling I simply adore that scarf where did you acquire such a work of art." This girl who obviously was big into fashion asked me.

"I went to my old local fashionista." I told her the honest truth.

"She has my old measurements too that’s where I had this jacket made." I told her just trying to make a new friend.

"My name is custom stitched too." I was trying to make small talk.

"Wow I should meet her sometime she seems simply Divine." I was thinking maybe getting one of my old friends a customer or friend could help.

"Here is my address to my boutique." I was genuinely surprised by her generosity.

"If you need any repairs on your clothes or a new piece please consider." I could tell she was just trying to be nice so I kept it in mind.

"Will do thank you." I tried to reassure her.

"Oh and by the way, what's your name?" I asked completely realising we hadn't introduced.

"Ohh where are my manners I’m Rarity." It was actually a very beautiful name definitely represented her personality and looks.

"Oh okay I’m Ather." I was just trying to keep my cool around her.

"Oh and darling we have a spot at our table would you like to join us?" Rarity said this with again that illustrious smile.

"Yeah that sounds nice thank you for inviting me." I replied glad I was making progress.

"No problem your my friend now anybody who has such taste is bound to be a friend of mine." She said it with again that nice white gentle smile.

We had a small laugh and we walked to the table where they all saw the new face of the group. That’s when I saw her. The love of my life but don’t let me get ahead of myself. She had beautiful silky hair her soft skin and beautiful aqua green eyes that shine like the Ocean overseeing the setting sun. I felt my chest tighten and my breath hitch as I catch my first glimpse of her. I can only describe her as she setting sun after a hot day of summer. Man was she something else I’ll tell you.

I blushed so dark when I saw her I think rarity noticed cause she decided to cover for me by saying something to catch their attention. I sighed in relief. I then recollected my thoughts and smiled. I sat down and we talked until the bell rang for class to start.

I had the group show me to my classes and it made my life so much easier that I had at least one of them in every class. There she was again in 7th period history. She was sitting in her chair but I noticed the look of hate in a lot if the kids eyes and it made me unnerved.

I noticed she was blocking them out like she didn’t even care like it was a regular routine. It made me upset they were looking at her like that. I see someone throw a paper ball and hit her in the head.

I could see her flinch and I could tell it was getting to her. She was on the brink of tears after she heard what they had said. All I kept hearing was devil, bitch, suicide, and wish she wouldn’t have survived the blast. That was cruel I don’t even care what she did that was too cruel to even think about saying.

I gritted my teeth to keep from yelling out it was my first day I couldn’t get in a fight on the first day. I saw her she was now shaking they kept repeating and saying new words to hurt her and it was working. She laid her head down and cried. I started shaking with anger.

I knew it only got like this when her friends weren’t around. This is torture I’ve never seen since people go from normal to bully in seconds. The teacher didn’t even stop them. It’s what made me most upset like she deserved it or something total bullshit.

Some guy walked up with some water in a cup I grabbed his arm.

"Don’t even think about it." I said this with eyes that said everything there was to say.

"Don’t you know what that thing did!?" The boy said with a look of disgust and anger.

"Thing?! That thing is a girl whatever she did you have done enough now back off!" I was panting and my fist were clinched when I realised what I was doing. He stared at me then sat back down without another word. After the period ended I followed her.

"Hey wait up!" I said it with a slightly pleading voice.

"Are you okay?" I said with concern and softness.

"Yeah thanks for standing up for me I doubt I deserve it though." She said it and it was obvious she was drowning in guilt and sorrow.

"What do you mean?" I asked with curiosity.

"In my past I bullied and did bad stuff to everyone only some forgave me." I could tell she was telling the truth with the look of hope in her eyes.

"Well then you found out who was worth your time and who wasn’t huh?" I said with a small smile so she would understand what I was getting at.

"Forgiveness is a huge piece to life. Forgiveness is what mistakes and relationships are built on if someone can't forgive then they cant love or care." I said it again trying to lift her spirits.

She smiled a little.

"Wow what a way to look at things." She said it with a far away emotion filled voice.

"Well I should go I have to catch a ride with rarity." She said it with slight disappointment which threw me off.

"Oh okay we'll catch you me-what's your number?" I asked because maybe I could be her friend and help her make it through this tough time.

We exchanged numbers and I went home feeling giddy but also conflicted. What can I do to make people realised she has changed. I couldn’t even see what they saw so I must help her in any way I can. I have to do something I think laying in my bed.

"I will help her no matter the cost." I said it before turning over and trying to get some sleep.
