One mil each?” A guy said loading his tranquilizer gun and aiming it at a large humanoid creature holding the smaller one while the other guy readied some rope and chains. “Heh, I know right.” The other said while the two creatures held each other in fright. “Unfortunately they’re not for sale.” A deep voice said from in the trees above the two. “Who’s there!?” The one with the gun shouted as he pointed to it in every direction. “You two must feel so great picking on innocent creatures for profit.” The voice said as he took the guy with the rope. “Screw it, I’m out!” The remaining guy shouted as he ran back to his ATV. “Where do you think you’re going?” The voice asked as he jumped in front of the hunter. “W-what are you?” The guy asked as he lifted his head and made eye contact with the eight-foot tall creature that was shrouded in shadow with his bright orange eyes shining through. “A guardian.” The voice said as he lifted an arm and smacked the guy in the side of the head knocking him out. The person began shrinking to a six-foot tall person and turned to the two humanoid creatures. “It’s okay, you’re safe now. And if you come with me we can give you a home that’s secluded from the rest of the world and will keep you safe from others that want to hurt you.” The person said as he reached out his hand and the bigger of the two humanoid creatures took it. “Good, now let me make some arrangements over the phone.” The guy said as he grabbed his phone and made a call. “How’d it go, and will they come?” A woman answered. “Good, the two hunters are subdued and the Sasquatch pair are safe and agreed.” The guy replied. “Excellent, sending a truck and a van to your location. Also, the council has a new assignment for you.” The lady said. “Cool, what’s the details?” The guy asked. “It’s in a city called Equestria down south in California but more specifically in a high school called Canterlot High, this might be a long term assignment so we’ve gone ahead and enrolled you in the school and set up some housing in an apartment complex for you. Now for the reason for this assignment is that there’s been lots of supernatural stuff happening in that city, especially around that school and we want you to investigate along with me, as I mentioned you’ll be a student but I'll be a teacher. So see you there on Monday.” The lady informed. “Thanks K.” The guy said as he hung up as a truck and van arrived.” The Sasquatch pair nervously walked onto the truck as the two hunters were placed in the van. “Good work Agent Wolf.” One person said as Agent Wolf got on his motorcycle. “Thanks, but I need to get going, I got an assignment in Cali.” Agent Wolf said as he drove off southbound to Equestria City. After about a fourteen hour drive Agent Wolf arrived in Equestria city. “So this is Equestria City? Okay, I understand now why I was sent here...” Agent Wolf said as he pulled into his apartment building and got off is bike. Once in his apartment he notified his superiors that he had made it there safely and then crashed in his bed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 A sixteen year-old boy with medium stone gray spiked hair, violet eyes sat up and stretched, his caramel colored skin and got up from his bed and got a call. “Hello K, I just woke up.” Agent Wolf said. “Mourning, and for as long as this assignment takes, you’ll be referring to me as Ms. K and I’ll refer you to your name, Max wolf.” Ms. K replied. “Alright, alright I’ll see you at Canterlot high.” Max said as he hung up and got dressed. Max wore a green plaid jacket with a white t-shirt and brown cargo pants, blue and white sneakers, he also had a black backpack. Max then got on his Motor cycle and drove to a nearby cafe and ordered a doughnut and cappuccino. After getting his breakfast he sat down at a table and proceeded to go on YouTube. After finishing his breakfast Max realized that he was going to be late and drove off to Canterlot High on his motorcycle. “There I see it!” Max thought to himself as he was closing in and parked in the student parking lot. After getting off of his bike Max walked to the entrance of Canterlot High and immediately felt a rush and energy. “What the?” Max whispered as he looked around with a confused look on his face. “Uh may I help you?” A girl asked from behind. “Huh?” Max replied as turned around revealing a girl with purple, violet and magenta hair tied in a pony tail with a purple six-pointed star hairband, she has dark purple eyes underneath black point framed glasses, and lavender skin. She also wore an azure and blue striped t-shirt with a magenta bow-tie on it, there was also a purple skirt with several magenta colored stars that were also six-pointed and pockets, she had on purple shoes with sea foam blue socks. “I asked, may I help you?” The girl asked again. “Oh sorry I just felt something, oh and I’m Max Wolf.” Max replied with a half smile. “Okay, and I’m Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight responded. “Nice to meet you, but can you show me to my first class?” Max asked. “Sure, are you new?” Twilight asked. “Yea, just enrolled.” Max replied. “Cool and it’s down the hall to the left and you’ll see the boy’s locker room.” Twilight replied. “Thanks.” Max said as he walked to the boy’s locker room. “Ooo who was that, your boyfriend?” A girl asked twilight, causing her to blush. “N-no, he’s just a new student, and Pinkie Pie were you spying on us?” Twilight replied. “Of coarse not silly!” Pinkie Pie replied with a smile. Pinkie Pie has dark pink curly hair with blue eyes and cotton candy pink skin. She wears a white tank-top with three balloons, two of which are blue and one is yellow, she also has on a frilly pink skirt that gets darker as it goes down, white stockings and bright blue heals. Meanwhile after Max arrived and got a gym locker and changed into his gym clothes which were blue t-shirt with the name Canterlot imprinted on it and blue shorts. He then waited in the gym for the bell to ring. After the bell rung the PE teacher walked out and said that there’s a new student and had Max introduce himself. “Well anyway, we’re gonna play some soccer so Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer you two are gonna be team captains, everyone else line up. “Yes!” Rainbow Dash said while Sunset was shivering as it was a decently cold day. Rainbow Dash has rainbow colored hair with magenta eyes, light blue skin, and is wearing the same type of gym clothes that Max is wearing. However Sunset has red and yellow hair with azure eyes, mustard yellow skin similar clothes except with gym pants. After teams were picked and positions were given the teams soon took there positions as Max was on Sunset’s team. There was a coin toss and Sunset’s team was the attackers. As Rainbow Dash was the defensive mid fielder while Max was the attacking mid fielder. “Three...two...one, go!” The Teacher shouted and then Max sprinted to the ball and ran past Rainbow dash with the ball. “What the? Oh no you don’t!” Rainbow Dash said as she whipped around and ran towards Max who at this point kicked the ball into the goal. “Uh...g-goal.” The teacher said in utter shock. “What! How did you do that?” Rainbow Dash asked Max. “Skill, luck and speed.” Max replied as he went back to Sunset’s side. After a fairly one-sided game where Rainbow Dash’s team scored one goal while Sunset’s team scored ten. The students were then sent To the locker rooms to change back to their regular clothes. Afterwards the passing bell rung and everyone exited their classes. “Max hold on!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she caught up to Max. “Oh hey Rainbow Dash, what’s up?” Max asked as he stopped walking to see Rainbow Dash run to him. “H-how did you do that?” Rainbow dash asked. “How I did what?” Max asked now confused. “How were you faster then me?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Oh I um...just really good at sports I guess.” Max Shrugged as he lied. "Okay." Rainbow Dash Responded. Sunset then emerged from the corner, hugging her self tight as she was cold. Rainbow Dash wears a blue short sleeved jacket with a white t-shirt that had a rainbow lighting bolt and storm cloud on it, she black pants with rainbow lightning bolts on it and red, blue and white sneakers. Sunset on the other hand wore a black collared leather vest with gold spikes on the collar, she had on a, orange t-shirt with a red and yellow sun on it, a violet skirt with two black lines on the left and studded black heals. “Oh hey Sunset, you okay?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Y-yea, just forgot to bring a jacket.” Sunset replied. “Want my jacket?” Max asked. “S-sure, thanks.” Sunset responded. “No problem.” Max replied as he took off is jacket and gave it to Sunset who immediately put it on. “So where are you heading next?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Math, room thirty-two.” Max said. “I-it’s near b-by, follow m-me.” Sunset responded as she walked to to the class. Max followed and bumped into a girl. “Oh sorry.” “S-sorry.” The girl responded quietly. “Oh that’s Fluttershy.” Sunset said as she turned around. “Are you okay?” Max replied while Fluttershy gave a quick nod. Fluttershy is a light pink haired girl with baby blue eyes, light yellow skin. She wears a blue dress that has a magenta line on the waist with a butterfly on it and a large butter fly on the right, there was sea foam blue out lines on the bottom of the dress and pink heals with knee high socks. “Are you heading to math as well?” Max asked. “Y-yes.” Fluttershy responded quietly. “Fluttershy, this is Max, Max this is Fluttershy.” Sunset said. “Nice to meet you.” Max responded. “Y-you to.” Fluttershy said quietly.” After that the three went into the class. “Hello, you may take your seats and Max, you may choose any open seat.” Ms. K said. “S-sure...” Max replied a bit annoyed and sat next to a girl in a cowboy hat. Ms. K is a dark lavender haired woman with sand blue eyes and yellow skin. She wear’s a white lab coat with a red t-shirt, a jet black skirt and black heals. Meanwhile the girl next to Max has blonde hair, green eyes with freckles under them, she has light nougat skin. She’s wearing a brown cowboy hat, a green and white t-shirt with an apple on it, she also has a denim skirt on with a brown belt that has an apple on it, and she has on brown boots with three apples on the sides. About an hour later everyone was packing up when Ms. K told Max to stay behind for a moment. “Is everything alright?” Sunset whispered. “Yea.” Max replied as the bell rung. Everyone but Max and Ms. K left the room while Ms. K shut the door. “Well, have you found anything out yet?” Ms. K asked Max. “Yes, I felt some kind of energy while near the front of the school, but I could not pinpoint where it came from. Also I noticed that some students have similar energies flowing from them, mainly Sunset Shimmer, a girl named Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and a girl named Twilight, there was one other who I have not met yet.” Max explained. “Good work, now what kind of feeling do you have them?” Ms K asked. “Well they’re defiantly not dangerous or evil.” Max responded. “Good, you’re now dismissed.” Ms. K responded. "Thanks." Max said as he walked out of the room. “Hello! Who are you?” Pinkie Pie shouted as she jumped out from the corner. “Uh Hi...I’m Max Wolf.” Max said confused. “I’m Pinkie Pie! What were you doing in that class room?” Pinkie asked. “I was d-” Max was about to say before he was cut off. “Were you talking about secret international stuff?” Pinkie Pie asked. “What no!” Max replied. “Oh well wanna hang out with my friends at lunch today?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Oh sure.” Max said now confused. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 “Thanks for inviting me to eat with your friends.” Max said as he walked with Pinkie Pie. “Oh no problem. Now which of my friends have you not met yet?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well mainly the purple haired one there.” Max replied as he motioned to a purple haired girl chatting while also reapplying her makeup. “Oh that’s Rarity.” Pinkie Pie responded. “Oh hey Max, did Pinkie Pie ask you to eat with us?” Applejack asked. “Yea, is that okay?” Max asked. “Oh of coarse darling.” Rarity replied. Rarity is a purple haired girl with azure eyes and marshmallow white colored skin. She wears a medium azure dress with a purple belt and a dark lavender skirt and purple and white heels that are covered in diamonds. “So how’s Canterlot High?” Rainbow Dash asked. “It’s actually pretty cool.” Max replied. Meanwhile in a forest in Greece… “Where the fuck is he!” A man with an AK-47 shouted in Greek as another man with a gun was dragged off into the distance. “Shit, shit!” Another man said as sounds of screams, flesh being torn and bones breaking filled the forest. Before the man with the AK-47 new he was lifted into the trees and gotten his head bitten off and then dropped to the ground. The last guy pointed his gun up into the trees and fired but to no avail. “Why are you doing this?” The remaining man asked in Greek as the man who killed his teammates walked up behind him in his lengthy humanoid from with no hair on his body and white eyes with a grin on his face. “I’m right here.” The man said in a distorted Greek voice, causing the other guy to drop his gun as he felt a hand on his head that squeezed his head open like a pimple. Then licked the blood and brains off of his fingers and shifted back to his human form after consuming some of a Minotaur’s blood and made a call. “Hello, this is Agent S, the Minotaur is relatively unharmed except for a bullet wound in the left fore-arm and a broken horn. The hunters are dead. Agent S is an eighteen year old male with gold hair, green eyes, light gray skin. He wears an olive gray t-shirt with black pants, brown shoes, and a Smilodon’s tooth necklace. “Good work Agent S.” A man said over the phone. “How’s Agent Wolf’s assignment?” Agent S asked. “He completed it and has been requested to do a research assignment along with Agent K in California.” The man replied. “Cool and since this is my last assignment for the month can I go and visit him?” Agent S ask. “I’ll see what I can do.” The man said as he hung up and a tuck pulled up to the scene along with a van for the bodies. Agent S got onto his motorcycle and followed the now loaded truck and van to a base in Greece. Once there he parked his motorcycle and went into his quarters. “Man I wish I could see Max’s face after I told him about the Minotaur, he would have been so jealous.” Agent S told his plant and then got a call. “Agent S, you’re cleared to visit Agent Wolf, he’s currently located in Equestria City and attending Canterlot High for his assignment, a private jet is being prepared at a nearby airport.” The man said. “Great, thanks.” Agent S replied as the man hung up and immediately began packing. After packing Agent S ran to his bike and drove to a nearby airport and was on his way to Equestria City California. After a two day flight Agent S landed in Equestria City’s Airport and immediately noticed the amount of people. “Ugh, I can’t believe Max is in a city full of humans.” Agent S said to himself as dialed Max’s phone. Meanwhile Max was actually having fun and quickly grew attached to his new friends when he got a phone call. “Hello?” Max asked. “Yo Max, how’s it going?” Agent S asked. “Z-Zach? Oh my god how are you?” Max responded. “Great and guess what, I’ve been cleared to visit you for a month!” Zach said happily. “Cool, so when are you arriving?” Max asked. “Actually I just landed, I’m at Equestria City’s airport.” Zach responded. “Congrats, I’ll meet you after school at Golden Gate Park.” Max replied. “Okay, see you soon.” Zach said as he hung up and went to a McDonald's. “Who was that?” Twilight asked. “Oh, my childhood friend is visiting me for the month.” Max responded excitedly. “Well is he part of you secret agency?” Pinkie Pie asked. “No Pinkie, there’s no secret agency.” Max replied with a sigh. “Yea why would you think that Pinkie?” Sunset asked. “Well think about it, he arrives two days ago on a motorcycle, he acted strange when he met Twilight, and is better the Rainbow Dash at sports.” Pinkie Pie listed. “Hey!” Rainbow Dash Shot. “What? It’s true, he scored ninety-nine percent of the goals in soccer, he out ran you in the mile and scored tons of baskets in basketball.” Pinkie Pie said. “Pinkie Pie, I know you mean well but those are just coincidences.” Applejack responded. “Pinkie, I can assure you I’m no government agent.” Max added with a giggle. “Fine, but why did you come here?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yea I’ve been wondering that to.” Rainbow Dash added. “Well I just needed a change of scenery after my family was killed.” Max replied, now with a grimace. “Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that.” Sunset said. “It’s okay.” Max replied now remembering seeing his family be slaughtered by hunters. There was an awkward silence after that until Applejack broke the silence. “U-uh would you guys like to grab something to eat tomorrow after school?” Applejack asked. “S-sure.” The group said in unison and quietly ate until the bell rang. After the last two classes everyone was let out and Max drove to Golden Gate Park Where he saw Zach’s motorcycle in the parking lot and parked next to his. “I know you’re there Zach.” Max said with a grin. “Just as sharp as ever I see.” Zach replied as he fist-bumped Max. “Well in this line of work you have to be.” Max replied. “True, True, so what’s your assignment about?” Zach asked. “Well The Agency has found several articles on recent supernatural incidents around this city, but more specifically Canterlot High, but how was your assignment?” Max replied. “Well you’re gonna hate me for this but I got to rescue a Minotaur from five hunters.” Zach replied. “Lucky!” Max whined. “Heh, yea but how was your previous assignment?” Zach asked. “Well I saved a Sasquatch family from two hunters who were gonna sell them on the black market, and no I didn’t kill the hunters.” Max responded. “Yea yea, I know killing them isn’t right but I just hold a grudge and it’s really one of the few ways I can take it out.” Zach replied. “Yea I know, but anyways wanna see the place the Agency is having me live in?” Max offered. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy had been watching the two since she’d had gotten to the park with Fluttershy. “Uh Pinkie Pie, I don’t think we should be watching them...” Fluttershy said. “Shh! I’m going to prove he’s a secret agent.” Pinkie Pie replied as she turned to Fluttershy and noticed the two were missing. “Huh where did they go?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, what are you two doing?” Max said with a semi annoyed face while squatting as Zach gave a look of disapproval and disgust. “Eeep! Oh uh...” Fluttershy let out a squeak in surprise as Pinkie Pie tried to reply. “Max, who are these two humans?” Zach asked. “This is Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.” Max responded. “Wait what do you mean by humans? And I knew you’re a secret agent!” Pinkie Pie said. “Well I guess it can’t be helped.” Max replied. “Max, we need to get rid of them.” Zach said. “W-what do you mean get rid of?” Fluttershy asked now scared. Realizing what his partner meant Max immediately stood up and turned around. “Zach...I know you want to kill every single human for the loss of your home but these two and their friends are not those and nor are a lot of other humans either.” Max replied. “And I held you in higher regard but if you’re not gonna do it I am!” Zach responded as he kicked Max about seven yards away and knocked him out. “Max!” Pinkie screamed. “Die you damn human!” Zach said as he started shifting. Both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy look in horror and started screaming as Zach’s skin started falling off and his true form started growing taller and his limbs grew longer. His true skin then tightened around him and ribs showed as his lips fused into his gums and his teach became sharp needle like, Zach’s hair fell out and his pupil and iris’s faded. Pinkie grabbed a cupcake from her hair and threw it at Zach which then exploded in hopes of getting him away but to no avail. A grin formed on Zach’s face as he lifted a lanky arm to slice Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. During all of this Max woke up with a small concussion. “Don’t you fucking dare!” Max scream as he slowly stood up. Blood fell from his face as he too began transform. Max fell to his knees as he grasped the earth and his leg bones began cracking and forming into wolf like legs, a tail formed, he started growing taller and his body grew bigger as he started growing grayish fur and his arms grew bulkier with claws forming from his nails onto his tips, his head grew wolf like as his iris turned bright orange, and his teeth grew bigger and sharper. The transformation stopped as Max stood up and inhaled deeply as he let out a loud howl. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 “So have you come to your senses?” Zach asked in a distorted voice. “Like hell I’ll let you lay a finger on them.” Max responded in a raspy voice as he slowly walked to Zanch and then began sprinting to him. “Fine, have it your way!” Zach replied as he began sprinting to Max. Zach let out a coyote scream as Max growled and the two slammed into each other and began fighting. However, Max was the first to hit the ground as Zach got on top of him and began clawing at him and punching him. “Why are you doing this, what about the Agency, what about everything we worked towards?” Max asked as he fought back. “Shut up! I’m tired of protecting low life humans and being bossed around by them! I quit!” Zach responded as he clawed into one of Max’s legs, causing him to scream in pain. “Fine, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, run now!” Max shouted as he blocked the punches and claws. “O-okay.” The two girls said in unison as they ran to the parking lot. “Oh where do you think you’re going?” Zach replied as he shifted into a humanoid version of a Northern Chupacabra and started running after Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. However before he can reach them Max grabbed Zach by the spine and threw him against a Redwood, hard enough to cause the tree to come crashing down onto Zach. He let out a scream as Max made his way limping to Zach who was now gone. “I guess this means we’re no longer friends Zach...” Max said as he then collapsed and transformed back into his human form. “Max!” Fluttershy shouted as she and Pinkie Pie ran back to the now unconscious Max who had blood pouring out of his leg, chest and face. After an ambulance was called and Max was rushed to the ER. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Sunset and Ms. K arrived at the hospital and rushed to Max who after an emergency procedure was now out of the woods and awake. “Max are you okay?” Sunset asked. “Heh, I’ve had worse.” Max joked. “What happened?” Ms. K asked. “I-it’s our fault.” Pinkie Pie chimed up. “Yea, we were spying on him and Zach when we got caught...” Fluttershy with a guilty look. “Why were you spying on him?” Ms. K asked now annoyed. “W-well I saw Pinkie Pie spying and I kinda got sucked into it.” Fluttershy said. “I-I wanted to find out if he’s a secret agent when Zach transformed into some type of monster.” Pinkie Pie replied. “What do you mean monster?” Twilight asked. “I-I don’t know it was humanoid but then Max transformed into a wolf like creature and the two of them began fighting.” Fluttershy explained. “I guess it’s no use in hiding it now. It’s true, Max, Zach and I work in an international agency that deals with mythological creatures, cryptids, and supernatural stuff.” Ms. K replied. “But what is Max and Zach then?” Applejack asked. “I’m a Werewolf while Zach is a Skin Walker, Ms K and I were sent here to investigate some supernatural incident in this city but more specifically Canterlot High.” Max explained. “S-so all of those days of hanging out with us was just an l-lie?” Fluttershy asked as she began to cry. “No, I truly do see you seven as my friends. The only friend that I had was Zach, but since he quit and tried to kill Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy he’s no longer my friend.” Max explained. “O-oh.” Fluttershy responded. “So what do you mean by supernatural incidents?” Sunset asked. “Well, mainly reports of Demons, an Angel and Demon fighting, holes opening up to another world, Monsters in malls, three Hippocampus looking creatures, several rainbows raining down, a giant Alicorn in the sky. When I first got to the front entrance I felt some kind of energy come from the front of the school and that same energy coming from you seven.” Max explained causing Sunset and Twilight to blush. “U-um...one of the Demons and the Angel was me...” Sunset explained while embarrassed. “And I was the Demon fighting the Angel.” Twilight added. “Okay, but what about the energies?” Ms. K asked. “Well I think the energies are because we have powers. I have the ability to see someone’s memories/ mind, Twilight has telekinesis, Rainbow dash has super speed, Rarity can create gems, Pinkie Pie can create explosions using sweets, Fluttershy can talk to animals and Applejack has super strength. We kinda get our powers from magic and these gems.” Sunset explained. “So that’s what happened.” Max responded. “Well, since all of you know about us I’m going to ask you not to tell anyone about the Agency?” Ms. K asked. “Of coarse.” The girls said in unison. “Thanks, but can you seven leave the room?” Ms K asked. “Okay, lets go.” Sunset said as the seven girls left the room. “Now they’re gone, what happened between you and Zach?” Ms K asked. Max proceeded to explain to Agent K about what had happened. “Well I need to inform the superiors about this. Stay safe and get well soon.” Ms K responded as she smiled and walked out as Max’s friends walked back in. “Listen, I’m sorry for lying to all of you about why I was there.” Max said. “Pfft don’t be darling, now when are you getting to get out of the hospital?” Rarity asked. “Well in about a day or so, being a Werewolf does have it’s perks.” Max said. “U-um we brought your Motorcycle.” Fluttershy said. “Thanks.” Max replied. “Hold on, I want to know about what your Agency does?” Twilight asked. “Well...we’re an international agency that protects mythological creatures and cryptids from humans as well as protect humans from them and investigate the supernateral. My previous assignment had me save a Sasquatch family from two hunters.” Max explained. “Wait Bigfoot's real?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Yep, and there’s all sorts of sub-species of Bigfoot, like the Yeti, Skunk Ape, Dogman, Yowie, etc” Max explained. “What’s a Yo-we?” Rainbow Dash asked. “It’s like the Australian Bigfoot.” Max explained. “Oh, what about Dogman? Is that like related to Werewolves or Bigfoot?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well it’s actually a distant hybrid that became it’s one species.” Max responded. “I’m confused, what’s a Skin Walker?” Sunset asked. “It’s a Native American shifter that has the ability to take on qualities of any living thing as long as it consumes some of that creature’s DNA, however their transformations are almost never perfect, they’re also hostile to humans and smell like copper.” Max explained. “Cool but I need to get going so see you at school in a couple of days.” Sunset replied “Yea, me to.” Applejack responded. “I wish I could stay and learn more but I have to get home.” Twilight added. “Well darling get better soon.” Rarity replied as she left. “Okay thanks, see you hopefully in two days.” Max said. “U-um thanks for protecting me...” Fluttershy said as she quickly left. “No problem.” Max replied. “See ya dude, when you get back I’m totally gonna kick your butt in soccer.” Rainbow dash added. “You wish.” Max replied as he waved. “Hey Max, thanks for protecting me as well, but I have to go and babysit the Cakes.” Pinkie Pie said. “Don’t w-” Max started saying when he felt Pinkie Pie kiss him on the lips, from so close up Max could smell a combination of cupcake batter, strawberries and cherries. Pinkie Pie stood back up and smiled as she walked out of the room blushing cherry red. Soon after Ms K entered the room to see a blushing Max. “Ooo what do we have here?” Ms K teased. “S-shut up, so what did the people upstairs have to say?” Max asked. “Our superiors have a new assignment along with our current one.” Ms K said. “Let’s hear it.” Max replied. “It’s...to capture Zach...” Ms K responded. “Okay...well when can I start?” Max asked. “Well as soon as you’re out of the hospital, and since it sounds like Pinkie Pie and Flutershy are his targets we’ve sent some people to keep watch over them, but you’re going to be their main guard.” Ms K explained. “Well I guess I have no other choice huh.” Max smiled as he gave a thumbs up. “Yea, just get better soon.” Ms K responded as she waved and left the room leaving Max to his thoughts. “If only I’d seen it sooner.” Max thought to himself among other things as he decided to go and sleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 “Max wake up.” Ms K said as she shook Max awake. “Mm what is it?” Max asked in a groggy tone. “You’ve been cleared to go home.” Ms K said with a smile. “R-really?” Max asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. “Yea, I brought you some new clothes and a cookie.” Ms K said as she handed Max a bag and the cookie. “You know I’m not a pup anymore right?” Max said. “Yea I know, but if you don’t want it...” Ms K retorted with a sly grin. “F-fine...” Max said with a grumble as he ate the cookie. “Oh and here’s your keys.” Ms K add as she tossed him the keys. “Thanks, but can give me some privacy so I can change?” Max asked. “Of coarse, I’ll be right outside the room.” Ms K said as she stepped out and noticed Pinkie Pie walking to the room. “U-um hi Ms K h-how’s Max doing?” Pinkie Pie asked with a blush. “He’s actually getting ready to leave, he was just discharged.” Ms K responded. “Great, can I see him?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Let me see...hey Max you dressed yet? Pinkie Pie is here to see you” Ms K said through the door. “Yea, she can come in.” Max called. “You may enter but you have my blessing to be his.” Ms K whispered with a wink causing Pinkie Pie to blush brighter. “I-it’s not like that!” Pinkie Pie retorted. “Sure, sure.” Ms K replied with a sly smile and opened the door to see Max now wearing an orange hoodie with a light gray t-shirt, black cargo pants, and green and white shoes. “Hey Pinki-” Max started to say when he was thrown into a hug. Realizing what she was doing Pinkie Pie immediately let go and apologized. “S-sorry, how are you feeling?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well I’m actually doing great, no pain what so ever.” Max responded. “That’s good and um w-wanna hang out with us again today?” Pinkie asked. “Sure.” Max responded. Upon hearing this Pinkie got super excited but was cut short when Ms K entered the room. “Heh, well you two should really be getting to class.” Ms K. “Hey, is there enough room for one more person?” Pinkie Pie asked Max. “Yea, you have a helmet?” Max responded as he twirled his keys in his fingers. “You bet ya!” Pinkie Pie responded as she pulled out a pink helmet with a blue stripe down the middle from her hair. “Well then lets go.” Max said as he started walking out of the room as Pinkie happily hopped with him. After getting to the parking lot Max asked Pinkie Pie where his motorcycle was parked. “I don’t know, Rainbow Dash is the one who parked it.” Pinkie Pie responded. “Thankfully I have a backup.” Max said as he sniffed the air and knew where his motorcycle was parked. “Did you find it?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yep, follow me.” Max replied as he walked to his motorcycle. “Okay.” Pinkie Pie responded as she followed Max. After a moment Max and Pinkie Pie were on the road with Max driving and Pinkie Pie clinging to him. “How’s the ride so far Pinkie?” Max asked. “Gre-e-e-eat, but c-can I a-ask you some t-thing?” Pinkie Pie responded. “Sure, what is it?” Max asked. “What is your relationship with Ms K?” Pinkie replied. “She’s kinda like my adopted mother.” Max responded. “Oh...well why don’t you call her mom?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well mainly even though I was like two years old at the time that my family was killed I still remember them and so I don’t call Ms K mom.” Max replied. “Okay, and can you have chocolate?” Pinkie asked. “Yea, along with other things that canines can’t have. And we’re about half way to school.” Max responded. “Okay, good to know.” Pinkie replied as she rested her head on his back. While, Max was driving he felt a rumble and saw that the road in front of him started sinking and caving in. Max immediately stopped the motorcycle, which caught Pinkie Pie off-guard as three cars were sunk in. “W-what happened?” Pinkie Pie asked as the sinkhole collapsed further down until it stopped. “A sinkhole and some cars got swallowed.” Max responded as he got off his motorcycle and took off his helmet. “What do you want me to do?” Pinkie asked. “Get back while I get the people out of this hole” Max said as he jumped down the hole. As Max was helping people out of the hole Pinkie Pie got a call from her friends. “Where are you?” Sunset asked in a concerned tone. “Well Max got discharged and we were on our way when a sinkhole opened up and Max is currently helping people out of the hole.” Pinkie Pie explained. “Is everyone okay?” Sunset asked. “Let me check, hey Max, is anyone hurt?” Pinkie asked. “No, thankfully.” Max responded as he brought up the last of the people. “Everyone is safe.” Pinkie Pie reciprocated. “That’s good, well see you soon.” Sunset said as she hung up. “Where is she?” Applejack asked Sunset. Sunset proceeded to explain Pinkie Pie and Max’s situation. “A sinkhole? But there should have been nothing to cause it...” Twilight thought. “I’m sure it’s nothing.” Sunset replied. “Yea, but I just can’t help but think something else caused it.” Twilight responded. Meanwhile Max noticed a peculiar smell coming from the sinkhole but decided to put it at the back of his head. “Ready to get back to school?” Max asked Pinkie Pie. “Yea, lets get going.” Pinkie Pie said as Max put his helmet back on and went another route. Max and Pinkie Pie soon got back to the school as they were greeted by their friends. “Hey Pinkie, Max are you two okay?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Yea, Max saved all the people who were in the sinkhole.” Pinkie Pie responded. “Oh and how are you feeling Max?” Twilight asked. “Well good but I smelled something weird in the sinkhole.” Max responded. “Like what?” Twilight asked now concerned. “Well there was a subtle Sulfur smell.” Max responded as he noticed the smell again and then felt an earthquake. “Whoa, what the?” Rainbow Dash said as she fell on her butt. The earthquake subsided while everyone was looking around. However, Max was on high alert as he kept on looking in all directions. “What is it?” Sunset asked. “And what is that awful smell?” Rarity added as a gurgling sound came from the soccer field next to the school. Max then showed his ears and tail as his eyes turned orange and he grew claws. “U-uh is something wrong Max?” Sunset asked. “Get down!” Max shouted as a massive fireball was flung at the group who avoided the attack. “What the hell is that thing?” Rainbow Dash asked as a large humanoid monster rounded the corner, magma and rocks dripping from the body as it walked to the group. “Max, any clue?” Sunset asked. “Yea, it’s a Cherufe, but they’re normally found in South America around Chile and Argentina.” Max responded as he dodged another fireball. “No offense, but what’s a Cherufe? And how do we defeat one?” Rainbow Dash and Twilight asked. “It’s a Chilean humanoid monster that is made of magma and rock, it lives in volcanoes and too be honest I’m not sure, I’ve never dealt with one before and the way that ancients did is not an option.” Max responded as he avoided a punch by the beast. “Why was it?” Sunset asked. “Well it involves a virgin sacrifice.” Max responded as he grabbed a boulder and threw it at the monster’s legs which was just adsorbed into the beast. “Why did I think that would work...” Max said as he noticed diamond shaped objects being shot at the creature and cupcake explosions being sent to the Cherufe. “Don’t worry darling, we’ll help.” Rarity said as she dodge a fireball. “You got that right!” Rainbow Dash added as she tried to distract the beast but was blown away in fit of hot air. Sometime during the fight Pinkie Pie got separated from the group but the Cherufe noticed this and went to step onto Pinkie Pie but she was pushed replaced by Max who took her place. “M-max?” Pinkie Pie called but with no response. Everyone else just stopped what they were doing and realized what had just happened. There was a silence as the sound of a balloon slowly letting air out filled the silence as the monster reached to grab Pinkie Pie who now had her hair dead strait with her on her knees crying. “Pinkie!” Everyone screamed as the monster’s hand reached to grab her but instead the creature’s foot burst open as the a black and red blur dashed out and saved Pinkie Pie from the beast’s grasp. As the dust settled a sixteen-foot tall Werewolf stood holding Pinkie Pie close to his chest as his black fur glistened from the red flames coming from his back, hands and feet but were strangely not burning Pinkie Pie or her clothes. “W-what?” Pinkie Pie asked as she looked up and asked if he was Max to which he responded by closing his eyes and giving a soft smile. “Don’t worry Pinkie, I got this.” Max said as he sat Pinkie Pie down and turned to face the Cherufe who was now regenerating it’s leg. The beast stood back up after the leg was finished. Max stood forward, as he brought his head back and let out an immense roar that caused the windows to shatter and anyone in the vicinity covered the ears as the Cherufe stepped back and threw a fireball at Max who caught it and threw it back at the monster which smashed on the head. Max then jumped into the air and grabbed and pushed the beast down to the ground and growled as the beast finally yielded as it sunk down into the earth to presumably head back to a volcano. After that Max soon reverted back to his normal Werewolf form and then back to his human form and was wondering why his friends were blushing and looking away while Pinkie Pie was trying to keep herself from looking. “Uh what’s wrong?” Max asked. “Ahem darling, although I support the natural look this is not what I had in mind...” Rarity replied while turned away. “Oh shit!” Max said as he realized that his clothes had gotten burned up from the fight and quickly ran to hide in the bushes and called Ms K. “Yea Max, what is it?” Ms K answered. “Um I need you to get over to the school now and bring me an extra pair of clothes?” Max asked. “Let me guess, clothes got destroyed after you transformed?” Ms K asked now a bit annoyed. “Kinda, just get over here now please.” Max pleaded. “Fine, but when you get dressed you better tell me the reason why you transformed.” Ms K replied. “Y-yes ma’am.” Max whimpered as he hung up. “S-so, thanks for saving me...again.” Pinkie Pie said as she sat against the wall next to the bushes that Max was hiding in. “N-no problem, and sorry for s-scaring you.” Max responded. “Don’t worry about it and um...w-will you go out with me?” Pinkie Pie asked as Ms K’s car pulled up and she got out. “S-sure.” Max replied as he blushed brightly. “Where’s Max?” Ms K asked those who were waiting by the statue. “He’s in there bushes over there.” Applejack responded as she pointed to the bushes by Pinkie Pie. “Thanks.” Ms K replied as she walked over to the bushes and dropped a bag of clothes into it. “Thanks Ms K.” Max responded. “Just get dressed and tell me what happened.” Ms K replied. “Yea yea.” Max whispered as he put his clothes back on and stepped out of the bushes. “So, what happened?” Ms K asked. Max then proceeded to tell Ms K about the sinkhole and about the Cherufe and asked about his new form. “Hmm well as for your new form it sounds like a Hell-hound but they’re quadrupeds and not bipeds. But after I report the incident I’m going to ask some Werewolf packs about this.” Ms K said. “Thanks Ms K.” Max replied. “No problem, just try not to ruin your clothes...again.” Ms K retorted as she left in her car. “S-so Pinkie, what time do you want to go?” Max asked. “A-any time is good.” Pinkie replied with a smile. “Okay, well how about over the weekend?” Max asked. “Y-yea, I wouldn’t mind.” Pinkie replied with a huge smile and blushing. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 “Rarity! I need your help!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she sprinted to her friend blushing. “Why? What could ever be the problem darling?” Rarity asked. “It’s because she has a date tomorrow with Max and wants to look good for him.” Rainbow Dash explained with a grin as she twirled a basketball on her finger. “Rainbow Dash don’t tease her, now darling where is he taking you?” Rarity asked. “He was planning on taking me to the Exploratorium, the Aquarium, and the Ocean Beach. Oh, and he said I can pick the restaurant.” Pinkie Pie replied as her blush brightened. “Well darling, I suggest you pack a bathing suit, and something semi-formal.” Rarity suggested. “Y-yea but I don’t have any semi-formal clothing.” Pinkie replied. “Oh don’t worry darling, come by my office and I’ll make you something on the house.” Rarity replied with a smile. “Thanks Rarity.” Pinkie Pie replied with a big smile. “No problem Pinkie.” Rarity said as Pinkie Pie excitedly hopped away while squealing. “So, what’s the plan?” Rainbow Dash asked. “What plan?” Sunset asked. “Well duh aren’t we going to follow them on their date?” Rainbow Dash responded. “Darling! You know better then to suggest something so terrible.” Rarity replied. “Yea, that is kind of creepy. And it’s none of our business” Sunset and Applejack added. “What about you Fluttershy and Twilight?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Oh um I’d rather not...” Fluttershy replied. “I’m sorry but I just don’t think it’s a great idea.” Twilight added. “Ugh fine!” Rainbow Dash said in defeat. Three hours later Pinkie Pie showed up at Rarity’s office and knocked on her door. “Hello darling, come in, I’ll get your dress ready. You can sit on a chair.” Rarity said. “T-thanks.” Pinkie Pie replied as she walked in and sat down. “Here you go darling, now if you can stand up and try on the dress.” Rarity asked as she held up a sea-foam blue sundress with black trims. “Okay.” Pinkie Pie replied as Rarity turned around and Pinkie tried on the dress. “How does it look?” Pinkie Pie asked. “It looks great on you but...” Rarity said as she started thinking. “Um Ra-” Pinkie Pie started to say when Rarity dashed to her desk and grabbed a black ribbon and a sand yellow sun hat. “Turn around please.” Rarity. “Okay?” Pinkie Pie said as she turned around. “There, now just need to tie this into a bow and done.” Rarity said as she tied the black ribbon into a bow around Pinkie Pie’s waist, she then clapped as Pinkie Pie faced Rarity. “H-how do I look?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Oh darling, Max is going to swoon over you when he sees this.” Rarity replied. “Really?” Pinkie Pie asked with a blush. “Oh of coarse darling, now take it off and I’ll give you a bag to take the dress home with you. “Thanks Rarity, your the best.” Pinkie Pie replied as she hugged Rarity. “It’s nothing, I just hope your date goes well.” Rarity smiled as Pinkie Pie hopped out of her office. The next day Max showed up at Pinkie Pie’s house in an olive black dress jacket and pants, he also was wearing a medium silver t-shirt and some dress shoes. Max then got off of his motorcycle to knock on Pinkie Pie’s door but before could do so he was thrown into a dash hug by Pinkie who was wearing the sundress that Rarity had made for her and a sun hat. “H-hello.” Max said as he blushed. “H-hi, how d-do I look?” Pinkie Pie asked as she to blushed. “Great.” Max replied as his blush grew bigger and smiled. “Thanks, well lets get going.” Pinkie Pie replied with a bigger smile. “Yea, so where do you wanna go to first?” Max asked as he got on his motorcycle and put his helmet on. “I was thinking...the Aquarium.” Pinkie replied as she put on her helmet and got onto Max’s motorcycle. “Excellent choice.” Max said as he drove his motorcycle away with Pinkie Pie on it. After a while the two arrived at the Aquarium to begin their date. Once inside Pinkie Pie was amazed at all the sea creatures. “Whoa, so many pretty fish.” Pinkie Pie said aloud as she went from one window to another. “Heh yea, wanna go see the jelly fish?” Max asked. “Wait, there’s fish made out of jelly? Tell. Me. Where.” Pinkie Pie said with a giggle. “Just kidding, I know they aren’t made of actual jelly. But I do wanna see them.” Hearing this caused Max to almost laugh which intern made Pinkie Pie smile. “Okay.” Max replied as he smiled. After seeing several sea creatures and getting to touch some of them at the Touchpools, the pair were off to the Exploritorium. “So Pinkie, what exhibits do you wanna see?” Max asked. “Hmm...the floating volleyball one, Freeloader and others.” Pinkie Pie replied. “Okay, well we-re almost there...” Max was saying as he thought he saw Zach with a malicious grin. “Is something wrong?” Pinkie Pie asked. “N-no I just thought I saw something...” Max replied “Okay?...” Pinkie said as the pair pulled into the Exploritorium’s parking lot. “Well Pinkie, lets go.” Max said as he took off his helmet and got off his motorcycle. “Okay!” Pinkie Pie replied excitedly as she dashed to the building. Seeing this caused Max to smile as he followed his date inside. Max found Pinkie Pie looking at everything wide eyed and in shock. “Ooo, can we play the Freeloader?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Sure, but um...can I hold your hand?” Max asked blushing. “S-sure.” Pinkie Pie replied blushing brighter as she grabbed Max’s hand and walked to the exhibit. Max and Pinkie Pie arrived at the exhibit and began playing it. After the two decided they were hungry they went to a cafe to order some food and after ordering they began discussing stuff. “Sooo, what was your first assignment?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Hm, man it’s been so long ago since I did it...Oh! It was actually a massive Black Market bust, there were over like seventy creatures being bought, tortured, auctioned and other unspeakable acts.” Max explained. “Wow, like what kind of creatures?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well, there was a Wyvern chick, two Pheonixess, an Orthrus, and to me the two worst was a Korean Mermaid, and a Pixie. A lot of the merchants of the Black Market were captured with a small percentage being killed and an even smaller fraction escaping. But all the creatures were saved and are now safe.” Max replied. “That’s great, but um...what do you like about me?” Pinkie Pie asked. “W-well there’s a lot I like about you, your bubbly personality with the ever so delightful care-free style and wanting to make everyone smile is the main reason why I like you.” Max said as he looked down at the table and shifted a bit in his seat. “O-oh, um for me it’s because you care more about others then yourself, also you’re really friendly, and just a great guy, s-so um will you b-be my boyfriend?” Pinkie Pie asked as her blush enveloped her face. “Y-yes, I would love to.” Max replied with a smile. “Really? You would?” Pinkie asked now starting to cry. “Ye-are you okay?” Max replied now worried. “Heh, yea I’m just really happy.” Pinkie Pie replied with a huge smile as the waitress gave them their food. After some laughing and story telling Max paid for the food and asked if she would like to go to the beach. “Well duh, I packed my swim suit for it.” Pinkie Pie replied. “Okay, and I have a surprise to show you when we get there.” Max added. “Ooo I can’t wait!” Pinkie Pie said as the two of them went to the motorcycle and drove to the beach. Once at the beach the two went to the changing booths and changed into their swim clothes. Pinkie Pie emerged with a cherry red bikini top and bottom while Max emerged in a black swim trunks. “S-so what’s the surprise?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well first there’s a hidden spot that is required.” Max responded as he took Pinkie Pie by the hand and lead her to a spot on the beach hidden from the public and is connected to the ocean. “Whoa, okay?” Pinkie Pie replied as she walked with Max. “We’re here.” Max said with a smile. “Okay, so what’s this surprise?” Pinkie Pie asked. “It’s this.” Max replied as he did a mix of a howl and a whistle. “Huh?” Pinkie Pie asked as an angelic horse call came from the ocean. “Wait for it.” Max said as a large Hippocampus leaped from the water and dove back in as it headed to the pair. “What is it?” Pinkie Pie asked in amazement. “This is Teara, she’s a Hippocampus, a half horse, half sea creature, her sea creature half is that of a dolphin but she’s more then just that, she has a unique ability of allowing those that she trust to breath underwater as long as they’re touching.” Max explained as Teara brought her horse half out of the water and would easily take up half of a trailer home. Her fur less skin shone green and purple in the light as her translucent yellow dorsal fin-like mane flowed in the wind and her violet eyes told anyone with actually speaking that she’s a gentle giant. “She’s so pretty, but how do you know her.” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well she was one of the first creatures I rescued.” Max responded as he pat Teara’s head to which she neighed in pleasure. “May I ask what she’s saying?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Of coarse, she said that she’s willing to give us a ride?” Max translated. “R-really? Is she okay with that?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yea, but first give me your hand.” Max said as he reached his hand out. “Okay?” Pinkie Pie said as she gave Max her hand to let Teara sniff it. “Ready?” Max asked as he hoisted himself onto Teara. “Yea.” Pinkie Pie replied as Max helped her onto the Hippocampus. Once Pinkie Pie was on Teara, the Hippocampus with Max and Pinkie Pie took off into the ocean and dove under. This scared Pinkie Pie only to realize that she was breathing and opened her eyes to see that her and Max had two air bubbles around their heads. “Whoa.” Pinkie Pie said in amazement as Teara swam threw some seaweed, and several schools a fish. “Yea, it’s amazing isn’t it?” Max asked as a pod of dolphins swam up to them. “Dolphins?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yea, they’re really common around Hippocampi.” Max responded as Pinkie reached out an arm and pat a dolphin. After about an hour of riding Teara and leaping out of the water with a pod of dolphins, Max asked Teara to take them back to the beach which she obliged. “Hey Max, thanks for taking me on a date.” Pinkie said as she rested on Max. “Your welcome, I hope you enjoyed it.” Max replied with a smiled. “Yea, it was amazing.” Pinkie Pie responded as Teara swam up to the spot that she picked them up from. “Thanks.” Max said as he got off and helped Pinkie Pie off of Teara and gave the Hippocampus a fish and head of lettuce. “She’s an omnivore?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yea, but lets get you home, I’m sure that you want to tell everyone else about our date.” Max smiled as he and Pinkie Pie went to the stalls to dry off and change. After getting on the motorcycle Max drove Pinkie Pie home and she gave him a kiss and dashed into her house to her room. Max then drove back to his home and went into his apartment to see Ms K sitting on his couch. “Well, did you have fun on your date.” Ms K asked. “Yea, but why are you in my apartment?” Max questioned. “I’m here because I got some news about both you and Zach.” Ms K responded. “Well, lets here the news.” Max said as he sat down in a chair. “You’re not just a Werewolf, you’re a Werehellhound.” Ms K responded. “A what?” Max questioned. “It’s an ancient type of Werewolf that appears once maybe twice of every one-hundred generations. From what I gathered they’re twice as big as a normal werewolf, they can breathe fire and immune to fire, lava/magma and magic, they’re also have regeneration abilities as well as improved senses, and strength and speed.” Ms K explained. “That explains how I survived being stomped on by the Cherufe.” Max said. “Yea, now on to Zach, you know how one day he had just a grudge against humanity and was given an assignment and after he came back he was more hostile?” Ms K asked. “Yea I remember, I just thought that he saw something messed up.” Max responded. “Well, there might me a reason behind his new malicious intent, you see during that assignment Zach saw some sort of light that came close then dispersed. When he reported this the Council just dismissed it as an orb but it might have been something else...” Ms K explained. “Like, what?” Max asked. “That’s the thing, we’re not sure what it was and we have no records of anything similar.” Ms K replied as she stood up. “Oh, maybe there’s still a chance to return Zach to his normal self.” Max suggested. “I don’t know, but I need to get going.” Ms K replied as she left. “Hmm, something that can turn a person malicious...” Max thought as he sat back and looked at the ceiling. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 Max was on his way to school when he noticed Zach again at the corner of a street and again in someone’s yard as a weird looking cat. “No, I’m just imagining things.” Max thought to himself as he pulled up to the high school. Upon hearing Max’s motorcycle arrive up to the parking lot Pinkie Pie and friends went and met Max. “Maxie!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she gave Max a hug and a kiss. “Hey, Pinkie.” Max said as he hugged her her. “What’s wrong?” Sunset asked. “I think Zach is planning something, and I also think I know why he’s evil now.” Max replied which caused everyone to give him a confusing look. “You see, Zach wasn’t always like this, sure he held a grudge but never wanted to kill people, one day he was sent on an assignment and when he came back he was aggressive.” Max explained. “Hmm, do you have any idea why he became like that?” Twilight asked. “Well in the report he saw a white light come to him and then it like dispersed, the Council thinks it was just an orb but both Ms K and I have my doubts.” Max explained. “Well, if it helps we’ll be on look out.” Applejack said. “Yea, and if we find him we’ll kick the evil out of him!” Rainbow Dash added. “Thanks everyone.” Max said with a smile as the first bell rung. “Well, gotta get to class, see you at lunch.” Pinkie Pie replied as she kissed Max and hopped away. “Ready to have your butt kicked in PE?” Rainbow Dash challenged. “You wish.” Max retorted as him, Sunset and Rainbow Dash walked to their perspective locker rooms to get changed. “Hey Fluttershy, do you know what Zach looks like?” Twilight asked. “U-uh sure.” Fluttershy replied as she began to describe Zach in both is human form and his true form. “Well he certainly sounds like a...character.” Rarity replied with a slight greenness. “Yea, well we should probably get to class.” Twilight suggested. “Agreed, see you girls at lunch.” Applejack responded as her, Rarity, Twilight and Fluttershy went to class. As soon as the second bell rung Max’s class had to do a lap around the gym as a warm up. “Alright everyone, today we’re going to play some doge ball.” The teacher said as she had the class split in two and stand at opposite ends of the gym and told them to begin. The two teams ran to grab some dodge balls and started chucking them at each other. Max had grabbed a ball and was about to throw it at a classmate when he noticed Zach and froze. “I got ya this time!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she threw a ball at Max. Max then snapped back to reality and dodge then threw his ball at Rainbow Dash and hit her. “Not this time!” Max said “Aww man.” Rainbow Dash replied as she went to stand by a wall. Max was about to throw another ball when he heard Zach’s voice call him and he looked around confused and on alert. While Max was distracted a class mate managed to get Max out. “Oh...” Max realized he was hit and went to a wall near Rainbow Dash. “Yo, you okay dude? You’re normally focused.” Rainbow Dash asked. “No, I think Zach’s here.” Max responded. “You sure? I Don’t see him anywhere.” Rainbow Dash said. “Yea, neither do I.” Max replied as he continued looking around for Zach. Class ended and Max went to his next class but didn’t see Zach that class nor a couple classes either and then lunch came. Max and friends except for Pinkie Pie. “Hey has anyone seen Pinkie?” Applejack asked. “Yea, she said she need to empty herself.” Rarity said politely. “Here she comes.” Sunset replied as she waved a hand to let her know where they are. Once Pinkie Pie was close enough to Max she grabbed a silver knife and stabbed it into his chest. This caught everyone off guard. “Z-Za...ch...” Max said as blood trickled down his chest and started coming out of his mouth. “What the hell Pinkie!” Rainbow Dash shouted as Pinkie Pie just grinned as Max fell out of the table. “Oh, I’m not Pinkie Pie.” Zach responded as he began transforming into his true form. Almost everyone in the cafeteria screamed in panic and running out of the room as Pinkie Pie entered the room. “Hey guys why is everyone...” Pinkie Pie started to say as she saw Zach and the now fading Max. “Great, now that everyone’s here I can finish what I started!” Zach snarled as he lifted an arm to slash at the group but was stopped by a clear diamond. “So you’re Zach!” Applejack replied as she kicked him across the room. “So you heard of me.” Zach said with a grin as he was blocked by more diamonds and tables being thrown at him. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie ran to Max and was holding him close but was shushed by Max who took the knife out. “W-what, how?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Well I’m apparently a special Werewolf.” Max explained as he sat up catching even Zach off guard. “What the, why aren’t you dead?” Zach asked now furious. “Well, I’m special.” Max replied as he stood up and transformed into his Werehellhound form. “What the hell are you? “Zach asked now enraged. “I am a Werehellhound.” Max responded as he roared. “Tch! Damn you!” Zach shouted as he shifted into a weird looking Minotaur and charged at Max. Max then charged at Zach and tackled him through the wall into the field. Zach then swiped at Max’s chest causing blood to splatter onto a nearby wall but the wounds healed as Max punched Zach across the field and roared. “Max, hold Zach still.” Sunset requested as her and her friends started to do their ponification. “Okay!” Max replied as sprinted towards Zach. “Like hell I’ll let you do that!” Zach shouted as he tried to swipe at Max’s head but was Caught by Max who went behind him and held him in place. Meanwhile Sunset and friends rose up in the air and shot a rainbow which had hit Zach and pushed out a large white humanoid spirit that had some horns on it’s shoulders. Zach then collapsed as the rainbow faded. Max let go of the his partner as the spirit started flying to Max who proceeded to breathe red flames at the spirit who dissolved out of existence. “What happened?” Ms K asked as she ran out of the school to the two. “I think Zach is back.” Max replied as Zach slowly woke up. “H-huh, where am I? And who are you?” Zach asked. “It’s a long story Zach.” Max replied “M-Max? You look different, did you gain weight?” Zach asked with a wide yet cheerful grin. “Yep, he’s back to normal.” Max responded as he transformed back to his human form. A couple of hours later the eight explained what had happened as Zach was taken to a nearby facility for some tests to see if any spiritual residue was left in him. Meanwhile Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were debriefed and the Agency volunteered to patch the hole and Max was allowed to visit Zach. “Hey buddy, who’s it going?” Max asked. “Well so far everything has turned out normal and with luck I’ll be allowed to resume my assignments. Oh! Did you find out what that thing was?” Zach asked. “Yea, apparently it was a Kulmking, a spirit that has the ability to turn people evil by passing through their body which is probably what happened to you man.” Max responded. “Oh..and listen Max, I’m sorry for the trouble I caused.” Zach apologised. “Don’t be, you were under the control of a spirit. And I have some good news.” Max said. “What is it?” Zach asked. “I’m getting to stay in Equestria city and I made sure that you aren’t gonna have any repercussions from the incidents.” Max responded. “Thanks and congratulations.” Zach said. “No problem and thanks, but I have to get going, so see ya dude.” Max said as he waved and walked out of the faculty. Once outside Max saw that Pinkie Pie and friends were waiting for him. “Well, how did it go?” Rarity asked. “Great, I’m allowed to stay in Equestria city while being an Agent and Zach is not gonna get punished.” Max explained. “Whoopie!” Pinkie Pie said happily as she kissed Max on the cheek. “So, who wants to go out and eat?” Max asked. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue Six months after Zach was freed from the Kulmking he had a came to visit Max and friends for a couple of weeks on break and was invited to hang out with them for dinner. “So Zach, how did you and Max meet?” Sunset asked. “Well it was about ten years ago, Max was six and I was eight. We had gotten a joint assignment as juniors to a Thunderbird transaction, we’d instantly became friends after that and we made a bet to see who could get an assignment that dealt with a Minotaur first.” Zach explained. “Yea, and you won.” Max sighed in defeat. “What can I say? Except...beat ya to it.” Zach teased. “Oh shut up.” Max replied with a grin. “Speaking of which...I heard there’s an Autumn’s Festival approaching around the corner?” Zach asked. “Yea, can’t wait to see all the none realistic costumes of stuff we deal with on a regular basis.” Max said sarcastically with a sighed. Hearing this made his friends laugh. “That maybe but at least it’ll help your cover.” Zach pointed out. “True, so you coming to the Festival?” Max asked. “Well of coarse I am.” Zach responded. “Speaking of which, what are all if you going as?” Twilight asked. “Too be honest, a Zombie.” Max responded. “For me it’ll be a Skeleton.” Zach added. “Well I’m going as a reanimated mummy princess” Rarity replied. “I-I’m not going...” Fluttershy responded. “Why?” Max asked. “Oh it’s just to scary for me...” Fluttershy replied as she sunk down in her seat. “Well I’m going as Hermione.” Twilight said. “It’s gonna be Daring Do for me.” Rainbow Dash replied. “What about you Sunset?” Max asked. “I’m probably just gonna as a vampire, what about you Pinkie?” Sunset replied. “A-a Werewolf, I hope that doesn’t offend you Max.” Pinkie Pie asked while blushing. “Nah, it doesn’t offend me.” Max responded as he kissed Pinkie Pie on the forehead. “What about you Applejack?” Zach asked. “A clown.” Applejack replied. After everyone went home Max offered Zach his couch for the time he’s visiting. A couple of days later was the Autumn Festival. And everyone but Fluttershy showed up. While everyone was having a great time and enjoying some games Max and Zach heard screams coming from the Corn Maze as they saw people running away and talking about a man with no head. “I swear, every October.” Zach said. “Yea, but we should probably go and see what’s going on.” Max pointed out. “Good point.” Zach said as he ran to the Corn Maze. “I’ll be back Pinkie.” Max added as he followed Zach. When Max and Zach reached the Corn Maze they noticed a headless humanoid wearing a black trench coat, sand brown pants and white gloves. The humanoid is riding a skeletal horse that’s on fire and wielding a bone whip. “What do you think? A Dullahan?” Max asked. “No, it’s not holding their head.” Zach pointed out as he dodged a strike of the whip. “You don’t think it’s the Headless Horseman?” Max asked. “It’s possible but lets just focus on stopping this thing.” Zach replied as the two charged at the thing.
