All over Equestria, fervent fanponies have taken the litany of magical friendship to heart. The phenomenon of 'FriendshipCon' exists in every major city and some boroughs besides, but the first and mightiest of these is not long for the world.

In the swing of Manehattan FriendshipCon's last hurrah, two weary and overwhelmed staff ponies are looking for a break from the action. One has never seen any part of the event other than what she is responsible for, while the other's convention experience is not shaping up to what she had looked forward to. An unexpected turn makes roomies out of them, while a rocky road turns them towards an experience neither of them were prepared for. Under the dueling canopy of Luna's grace and city lights, they create a bond that will last beyond what they have lost.
