Chapter 12: The Fall Of Bardock?

Last time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z! Bardock joined the fight with Discord, but he couldn't keep up. Goku told him to focus on the pain of losing someone close to you. But Bardock was struck in the chest by Discord's beam. He has taken the form of Frieza and charged after the group, but Bardock shoved Gine out of the way. What will happen next? Let's find out, Now!

"NO, BARDOCK!"

Bardock then felt a sharp pain where his heart was, he knew it would end like this when he pushed Gine out of the way. 'I wouldn't have enough time anyway to move out of the way, Goodbye everyone... I love you all.' Discord then kicked Bardock away into a boulder.

"DAMN YOU DISCORD!!" Goku yelled, his rage fueling his power. He went faster then he's gone before, punching Discord in the face, then sending a barrage of ki blasts. "I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER!" He then flew through the explosion, sending a barrage of attacks. Finally kicks him away and charges a new technique he made not too long ago. "SUPER KAMEHAMEHA TIMES 10!!"

He releases and red beam with blue and yellow lightning surrounding the attack. Discord is hit by it and a nuclear-like blast engulfs Discord. The last thing Goku heard were his screams, he then flys to where Bardock is lying down with his head on Gine's leg with Kakarot crying onto his chest.

Goku goes for another senzu bean, but the patch isn't on his waist. 'Shit, the patch must've fallen off me in my rage.', "Please tell me there's a way we can save him!"

"I'm sorry, but we used most of our magic to heal him earlier, if we use to much magic, we could die," Luna explains, tears slowly falling down her cheek.

"Ka... Kakar... Kakarot, it's... alright." Bardock weakly looks to Gine, tears start rolling down his face, "I'm fine... with this... I want to... finally, rest easy... knowing that you're all... safe..." He looks to the group, he's holding onto his last breath, trying to say his last words. He holds Gine's hand, "I love you... all"

Bardock closes his eyes, knowing everyone will be alright, then he stopped. Gine then notices Bardock's grip lessened, then falls out of her hands. "No... no... NO!!"

Fluttershy starts sobbing onto Rainbow Dash's with her hugging her, “I can’t believe it...” Rainbow looked away.

Pinkie's mane falls from it being messed up to a flat mane, tears slowly rolling down her cheek.

Celestia was holding Luna in a tight hug. “He sacrificed himself to save us...” Luna sobbed.

Applejack just looked down, taking off her hat and holding it across her chest, tears on the brink. “Rest well friend...”

Twilight and Rarity couldn't look, they didn't want to see her dead friend like this. But something snapped in Goku, "I'm going to make that psychopath suffer!"

Bardock wakes up in a white void, 'Where am I, there's nothing here.' "Hello... anyone here?" He didn't hear a response for a long time. To him, it felt like hours, just standing there. He started to walk around with no sense of direction. "Is this Hell?"

"I'm afraid not, you're not even dead my friend," a voice says.

"Who's there?!" Bardock yells out, waiting for the voice to show it's self.

"You... or should I say, you're future self."

"What?" Bardock was going to question what he meant, but the voice took shape. Bardock was shocked to see, himself, as a Super Saiyan!

"We should have a talk..."

"How is this even possible, how am I talking with my future self?"

"You aren't, you're imagining what you'll look like in the future, but you need to wake up, your wife needs you, your... Friends need you."

"But I can't go back down there, I'll be killed..." Bardock said, clenching his fist.

"Then use the anger from your dream and go Super Saiyan!"

"I tried, but it didn't work, Discord won't give me a chance to do it again."

Future Bardock walks towards him and places his hand on his shoulder, "You have the power in you, you just need motivation. Now, try to go Super Saiyan!

"Alright..." Bardock said, closing his eyes and clenching his fist and bringing his arms to his side. 'I have to protect them, I have to protect my son, I have to protect Gine from Discord!" Then it happened.

The mane 6’s cutie marks started to flash, confusing them. “What’s this?” Twilight asked.

“I don’t know...” Applejack responds. Then the Elements of Harmony appear on them. Then they shoot a rainbow beam towards Bardock, engulfing him. It goes on for about a minute, then stops.

“What did you girls do?” Goku asks.

“We don’t know darlin’,” Rarity responds.

Gine started to feel a heartbeat, "Wait, I can hear his heartbeat!" the whole group looked at her. But, then they felt the earth shake. Gine saw Bardock's chest wound heal up right in front of her eyes.

"I have to protect them..." Bardock said quietly, almost a whisper.

"What?" Applejack questioned. Then, sparks started to fly around Bardock, his hair flaring up. Bardock opened his eyes to see Discord in a crater, he got up, then started to walk towards it.

"No Bardock, don't go and fight him!" Gine then runs in front of Bardock, trying to get him to stop.

"Get out of my way...”

"No, I can’t lose you again!” Gine cry’s out.

“I said, GET OUT OF MY WAY!” Bardock shouts, he shoves Gine back to the group and flys to Discord.

“What’s gotten into him?” Rainbow questions.

"Don't know, but I have to go after him, he's going to get himself killed!" Goku then flares his aura and chases after Bardock. 'If he's going Super Saiyan, we may have a chance.'

Bardock lands where Discord lies, he's covered in cuts, bruises, and gashes of blood. "What a pity..." Bardock says in a dark tone, "I was looking towards to beating the crap out of you..."

Discord looks at Bardock, shocked, "How are you still alive?!"

"Don't know... but I don't care." Bardock then launches forward and pulls a double-ax handle onto Discord's head, slamming him deeper into the crater.

"Father!" Goku yells out.

"Don't get in my way Goku, I'm the one who gets to finish him." Bardock was about to go into the hole he created. But Goku grabbed his arm and tugged it back.

"No you aren't, you aren't strong enough, let me handle it."

"I said... LET ME HANDLE IT!" Bardock lets out a powerful scream, pushing Goku back, "HE THREATEN TO KILL MY FAMILY... FOR THAT, I'LL END HIM!" Bardock then rushes into the crater with his hair flashing a golden color with his eyes turning cyan.

'He's out of control, I have to stop him!' Goku then rushes after Bardock, hoping he doesn't become a problem.

Things are starting to heat up and Bardock is out of control! Will Goku be able to stop Bardock's rampage, or will he fall against Bardock. Find out next time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z!
