Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle confess to being Anon-A-Miss, but only after Sunset runs out of the school in tears. The Rainbooms are thoroughly ashamed for having accused Sunset so easily of breaking their trust, and send texts to Sunset pleading for forgiveness.

Sunset seriously questions whether she can ever forgive her friends for being so quick to accuse her of leaking their secrets, let alone continue to stay at Canterlot High.

However, an unlikely figure will not only provide Sunset the answer, but also force Sunset to confront several harsh truths: that the people closest to you aren't saints, and redemption doesn't mean what she thinks it means, and that life can't always go the way you want it.
