When the Apple family refuses to sell their orchard to a wealthy land monger, he kidnaps Applebloom and brings her to the desert. Knowing they can't afford to lose the farm or Applebloom, the Apples hire Jack Knife, a legendary bounty hunter, to track down the monger and his posse, so he may save Applebloom.
