The Destructive Truth
...It is shown.
Previous Chapter....Twilight stared at the ashes in horror. She hadn't meant for it to happen, it just...surged out from within her. Did she really just kill a pony?! She started shaking as Starlight and the others burst into the room, ready to fight. Upon seeing no danger, they gave a confused look until they saw Twilight, whom looked like she was about to be sick.
Twilight couldn't even describe to them what had happened, so instead she pointed a shaking hoof at the book on the nightstand. But they didn't understand, commenting only Twilight shouldn't read horror books at night.
Twilight shook her head and urged them to read it, but they remained skeptical, moving the book away whilst giving her comforting words and hugs.
But Twilight could see it now...the Truth, she would never be able to unsee it... The Stallion was right, she was a monster.
How many others had perished or suffered? It was a thought she couldn't bare.
Author's Note
Yeah, the story isn't all that great, but that's largely because it derived from a thought experiment I had in the middle of the night.
While I wish I could write this better, (and perhaps I will come back to this at some later date), my Hope is that it at the very least got you thinking. Anyways, farewell, see you in the next one! Crowborn out!
