It was hearts and hooves day in Ponyville. The Cutie Mark Crusaders were determined to find the right kind of stallion for their teacher Miss Cheerile, and Big Mac seemed like a viable choice. However, Scootaloo still seemed a bit unconvinced by this.
“Can we PLEASE go back to the Dating Park one more time?” Scootaloo whined. “Big Mac seems great and all, but I just want to make sure that there aren’t any other options!”
Sweetie Belle groaned. “Come on, Scoots! We checked that park a gazillion times, and everypony there is either already taken or even worse, they are not interested in having a special somepony!” Rarity’s sister sank to the floor in annoyance. “What’s the point?!”
“Come on, y'all!” Apple Bloom chirped. “We can’t give up just now! There’s gotta be somepony around here that’s perfect for her!” She softly stomped her hoof.
“Exactly!” Scootaloo puffed her chest. “What do ya say, Sweetie Belle?” The tiny pegasus gave her friend an expectant look. Sweetie Belle’s face twisted in thought before she finally sighed.
“Alright, you win… Back to the bushes we go..”
“YES!” Scootaloo cheered. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!” She grabbed the other Crusaders and off they went. After more than a few head on collisions later, the Date Park came into view.
Apple Bloom looked around the park, not seeing anypony that looked right for Cheerilee, specifically. “Ya’ll see anypony?” She asked.
“Ugh, I can’t see anything!” Just as Scootaloo finished her sentence, her jaw dropped. “Say… is that… Princess Celestia?!”
“Lemme see!” Sweetie Belle squeezed next to Scootaloo and gasped. “It is! What is SHE doing in the Date Park?”
“Obviously trying to get a date!” Scootaloo rolled her eyes at the white filly before hissing at Apple Bloom. “Psst! Can you see who’s she with?”
“Hmmm….” Apple Bloom squinted, trying to get a closer look. “I think I see some blue…”
“Sayyy, I’ve got an idea! How about we help Princess Celestia instead? It’ll be much easier then Miss Cheerilee, and Celestia clearly needs help!” Sweetie Belle gushed. “Maybe we’ll get cutie marks in being matchmakers!”
Scootaloo gagged. “Gross! Didn’t we come here to help Miss Cheerilee, not the Princess?
Sweetie Belle hung her head. “Aw, I know, but it seems so right!”
“Sweetie does have a point.” Apple Bloom started to ponder, tapping her cheek. “I mean, does she know much about romance? She’s usually in a castle.”
Scootaloo frowned and rubbed her chin. “You do have a point there… I bet she’s so busy she hasn’t even CELEBRATED Hearts and Hooves Day in forever!”
Sweetie Belle gained a big grin on her face and wiggled out of the bushes. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go help Princess Celestia get a special somepony!” Scootaloo followed her, grumbling about how a stick poked her eye.
Apple Bloom giggled, bouncing out of the bushes to catch up with her friends. Nothing about this could go wrong at all!

“Did you hear something, sister?” Luna quipped as she drank some fresh cold water. “I could have sworn I heard somepony giggling.”
Celestia looked around, then shrugged. “Nopony at all, probably some of the couples around here. I’m surprised by how many there are. I mean, I know it’s Hearts and Hooves Day, but this is a very specific place for multiple ponies to have dates...:”
“It makes you wonder why they chose this spot in particular…” Luna hummed. “But I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. Everypony knows we are related, so there should be no problem-” The Moon Princess scowled. “Confront it, we ran out of water. Sister, do you mind if you go out into town and get us some more?”
Celestia got up, and nodded. “No worries.”

Scootaloo was cheering and laughing with her friends. They were going to help Princess Celestia get a special somepony! This was so-
THACK!
Sweetie Belle screamed as she smacked right into an orange rear. Scootaloo had collided right into Twilight, who was face first into a book.
“Huh?” Twilight jumped a little, before noticing the three fillies nearby. “Oh! Are you three okay?”
“Yeah, we’re ok,” Scootaloo rubbed her snout before noticing the open book on the ground. Sweetie Belle had somehow already began reading the pages.
“What’s that book about?” The orange pegasus asked the unicorn who was well known for being a bit of a bookworm.
“A book about the beginnings of Hearts and Hooves Day! Interestingly enough, it started off because of a love potion…” Twilight began to infodump.
“Wait, did you say a LOVE POTION?” Sweetie Belle gaped at the book before she clutched it to her chest. “Uh, mind if we borrow this for a little bit?” The small unicorn grinned nervously, same with the other crusaders.
“-Uh, sure. Just don’t go a little too wild with i-”
“THANKS TWILIGHT!” A cloud of dust was all that remained of the filles that were there some moments ago. Well, that and the torn off book cover. Talk about not being wild.
The CMC went hard at work finding the ingredients for the potion. Once they found everything they needed, they darted back to the tree house and brewed it up.
“ . . Fast, not slow..” Sweetie Belle mixed the brew until it turned hot pink and poured it into a thermos. “Done!”
“Wow!” Scootaloo said in awe. “This’ll definitely do!” She admired the thermos with glee.
“This is gonna turn out so great!” Apple Bloom cheered, her hooves clapping.
Sweetie Belle gave Apple Bloom a big hug. “Can you imagine how happy the Princess will be? Maybe she’ll appoint us to be her very own personal guards!”
Scootaloo screeched in joy. “We’ll finally get our cutie marks!” She grinned. “Now all we need to do is convince her to drink it without her knowing what it really is! Who volunteers?!”
Silence.
“Anypony..?” Scootaloo chuckled awkwardly.
“Uhh…” Apple Bloom looked at Sweetie Belle.
“What are you looking at ME for?” Sweetie gulped at her friends gave her intense stares.

“Want a drink, Princess Celestia?” Sweetie Belle cursed her fellow crusaders mentally as she held out a thermos with a picture of a smiley face taped to it to the ruler of Equestria. The ruler of Equestria who she had accidentally hit in the head with when she completely scared the daylights out of the poor filly with said thermos. “Uh, sorry about the cracked skull, you sure that’ll heal up?”
“Yes, my magic will likely heal it.” Celestia groaned a little, rubbing her head. “A drink might also help a bit, though.”
“Here you go then…” Sweetie put the thermos in front of Celestia. “Have a nice day, Princess!” she called as she dashed away back to the bushes where her friends were waiting.
“It worked!” she collapsed onto the dirt. “Man, I’ve never been so nervous!”
“Woohoo!!!” Apple Bloom hugged Sweetie Belle. “Ya did great!”
“Great job, Sweets!” Scootaloo also hugged the blushing unicorn. “Now we can watch Princess Celestia finally be with the love of her life!”
“ . . This drink tastes strange, sister….”
Sweetie Belle tensed up. “Wait, who said that?” she whimpered.
“Ugh!” Scootaloo growled. “Still can’t see anything! Apple Bloom, go investigate from your side!” she ordered.
“Ok, ok…” Apple Bloom grumbled, crawling over to the other side. She raised her hoof up a little to look more properly. “I...think it was..” Her eyes widened in realization. “...oh no.”
“Oh WHAT?” Scootaloo crawled over to Apple Bloom, and soon she had a similar expression. “You’re kidding…!”
Sweetie Belle also saw, and she bit back a scream. The pony Celestia had been talking to wasn’t a stallion. It was… It was..
“I love you soooo much, my bitsy pookums sissy wissy!”
Princess Luna had hearts in her eyes as she smashed her snout against Princess Celestia. “My sissy wissy is the the best wuver EVER!” she cooed, running her hoof down the chest of the one pony she was NOT supposed to be falling in love with.
“And mwy mwoon woony bwuatiful Luna is the gweast mware EVER!” Celestia cooed back, holding her hoof as well as the hearts in her eyes beat.
As the two sisters did romantic things, the CMC slowly felt their souls leave their bodies.
“We made a BIG mistake…” Scootaloo gulped. This was really bad.
Celestia nuzzled Luna as Apple Bloom watched with a panicked expression. “This really didn’t pan out like I thought it would…” She thought, then turned her attention to her friends. “What are we goin’ to do?”
“WE GO READ THE BOOK! Sweetie Belle screeched and bolted for the tree house, Apple Boom and Scootaloo on her heels.
“How did we mess this up?!” Scootaloo exclaimed in confused anger. “Why are Princess Celestia and Luna hanging out at the DATE PARK?!” It didn’t make any sense! The only reason ponies got to the Date Park is.. Well, to have dates! Siblings NEVER went there unless the other parks were filled, but today that simply was not true.
“Wait...Do they even know what a Date Park is?” Apple Bloom asked.
Sweetie Belle slowed to a halt as they reached the latter of their tree house. “Now that you say it… She DID look confused when we first saw her. Remember how she was giving all the couples odd looks?” She yelped in panic as Scootaloo shoved her face right to hers.
“OF COURSE? WHY DIDN’T WE NOTICE SOONER?” The hot headed filly slid to the ground moaning. “What are we going to do? We can’t have two sisters fall in love; that’s gross!”
“Maybe we could get Twilight’s help?” Apple Bloom proposed, raising a hoof. She seemed to have a lot more books that could’ve been helpful.
“Yeah!” Scootaloo perked up. She quickly darted to the tree house and grabbed the book. “Maybe she can even tell us how to reverse the spell!”
Sweetie Belle smiled. The problem was going to get fixed with little issue, and she was sure Twilight would understand. “She’ll be more than happy to help!”
*some minutes later*
As the CMC watched Twilight go into conniptions at her library, Scootaloo glared at a sheepish Sweetie. “She’ll be more than happy to help, huh?”
Twilight frantically breathed, not even knowing what to say. The sisters...think they’re a couple!? She didn’t even know that the potion was that strong!
“Is there anything you can do?” Sweetie whined. “We honestly thought Princess Celestia was hanging out with a lover!”
“I-I’m not even sure!” Twilight took a deep breath, and tried to exhale. “Th-there isn’t a known cure. Not that I could find.”
“What about the book?!” Scootaloo shoved it right into Twilight’s face. “Please tell me you weren’t finished with it!” The Pegasus looked like she was on the verge of tears.
Twilight looked at each page, quickly, before coming across a notable part. “O-Ok. It says here that it’ll wear out after sometime.”
“Really?!” Sweetie Belle let out a sigh of relief. “Oh, thanks Twilight! I’m glad this will not be much of a-”
“Uh, guys?” Scootaloo cut in. She was standing outside the library, her eyes wide. “Why is the sun flopping around like Pinkie when we gave her those donuts?”
“WHAT!?” Twilight yelled, running towards the library’s entrance. And Scootaloo was right! The sun was going all over the place!
Apple Bloom walked next to her, and her eyes widened. “Oh, haysticks…”
“This is SUPER bad!” Scootaloo cried. Hey eyes widened even more as she saw two large shapes flying around the hyper sun.
“Wait, are they…?” But she didn’t get a chance to finish her sentence.
“I LOVE YOU MUCH, CELESTIA!”
Luna’s booming Royal Canterlot Voice echoed through the town followed by disgusting smooching noises. “I WANNA BE WITH YOU FOREVER AND EVER, MY LOVE!”
The CMC gagged and covered their eyes from the mind scarring sight of the royal sisters having a make out session while the sun danced around like a spazzing inchworm.
Celestia was beyond the point of caring about the time of day, flinging around the sun in joy.
“YOU TOO, LUNA! YOU ARE THE ONE THING THAT MATTERS IN EQUESTRIA!” She beamed, continuing the kiss session.
Twilight’s ears lowered.
Amist Sweetie Belle sobbing from fear, Scootaloo suddenly had an idea. It was crazy, but hey, could you blame her? “HEY! WHY DON’T YOU TWO GO TO SUGARCUBE CORNER FOR A DATE?” The pegasus screamed as loudly as possible.
“What!?” Apple Bloom asked while hugging Sweetie Belle. What was she doing???
Luna stopped mashing her tongue with her sisters and flew down. “A date?! With my lovey dovy sugger baby Tia~?” The normally stoic princess was now drooling with passion. “It sounds like a lovely idea!”
Sweetie Belle choked out a sob. “We.. need to make sure Princess Celestia is ok with it… r-right, Twilight…?” she turned her teary gaze to the horrified librarian.
“I...don’t even know anymore.” Twilight slowly said, curling up into a ball.
Celestia, however, was cheering. “That sounds wonderful, my wondery dreamy Lulu!~”
“Come then, my love!” Luna wrapped both forearms around her sister’s chest and looked up with dreamy heart eyes. “We shall drink the most romantic shake EVER~!”
Scootaloo stuck her tongue out. “So ... gross…!”
Apple Bloom blinked. “Should we...look after them?”
Sweetie stopped crying. “We have to! Right, Twilight?” she whimpered at the curled up ball of purple fur.
Twilight whimpered as well, curling out of her ball. “R-Right.”
At the Sugarcube Corner, Mrs Cake was trying not to collapse on the job as she watched her country's blood related rulers share a romantic shake. “A-anything else, darlings?” She squeaked.
“No, this milkshake is fine for my lwight of mwy lwife Lulu~” Celestia dreamily replied, then sipped on the shake.
“You flatter me, bubby wubby~” Luna responded with a husky tone.
The CMC busted into the store with Twilight on their heels. Mrs Cake yelped.
“O-oh, hello! What might I do for you?” The poor mare looked on the verge of fainting. Scootaloo was way too out of breath to say anything and Sweetie was crying again.
“What are Celestia and Luna doi-oh.” Apple Bloom was about to ask, till she saw them sharing a milkshake.
Twilight’s eye twitched.
“...A muffin?” Mrs Cake forced out.
“Uh… sure…?” Scootaloo gasped out. She hopped over to a table and made herself comfy. Sweetie Belle followed and used the napkins to wipe away her tears. She put the book on the table.
“Ok, surely there is more we can do then WAIT!” Scootaloo whined, her legs waving in the way.
“Maybe we should keep em away for awhile? Because this is becoming too much…” Apple Bloom suggested, shuddering after briefly looking at them.
“Hey WAIT!” Sweetie jabbed at some lines. “This says that to break the effects they can’t hold eye contact for an hour!”
Scootaloo shoved Sweetie aside to look. “Hey, you’re right? But how are we going to do that? I mean, they are like, stuck to each other’s side!” She glanced to the table, but quickly looked away after seeing Luna LICK the shake off Celestia’s snout. “Ulp.”
“Uhh….” Apple Bloom tapped her hoof. “...act like they’re getting married?” She shrugged, looking at the others. Twilight’s eye twitched.
“Yeah, that’s it!” Scootaloo’s eyes lit up and she clopped over to the royal sisters. “Hey wanna get.. Married?”
Luna jumped up like she was given a shot of caffeine. “MARRIED?” she yelled in utter shock.
Celestia squeed. “That sounds like a perfect idea! Forever being with my soft cwody wowdy lwullaby Lulu!~”
“Wonderful idea!” Luna cheered and grabbed Celestia’s hoof. “A forever life with my witty baby sissy Tia~~!”
“Gag me,” Scootaloo cursed as she and Sweetie Belle started dragging Luna away. “But you need to surprise her with an amazing wedding dress…! Twilight and Apple Bloom can help your… witty baby sugga Tia….”
Apple Bloom’s eye twitched. “Ye-yeah we can. Right Twilight?” She looked at the unicorn, who was about as disturbed as her. It took a second for Twilight to say anything, but she squeaked out a “Yes.”
Luna gave Celestia a loving stare as Sweetie Belle paused. “Uh, Princess Celestia? Can you make the Sun stop flopping around?” she tilted her head. “It’s kinda weird..”
“Huh?” Celestia looked at the sun, and blushed. “Oopsie! I was too happy over lwittle pwecious Lulu to notice!” She exclaimed, leaving the sun as usual.
“Finally!” Scootaloo mumbled as she yanked Luna out of the shop. Sweetie Belle was about to follow when Scootaloo stopped her. “I can handle Luna; I’ll just ask some other pony to help. You stay here.”
Before Sweetie could protest, the orange filly was already gone. “Gosh darn it, Scootaloo!” the unicorn shouted in anger before stomping back to Celestia. “Ugh, now I have to help you guys find a wedding ring!”
“Oh, how wonderful! I hope we can find a moonstone for my mwoony woony Lulu!!!” Celestia excitedly proclaimed, clapping her hooves.
“Why us…?” Sweetie cried out in distress. “What did we do to deserve this? We just wanted our cutie marks!”
Twilight quietly hugged Sweetie Belle, whimpering alongside her. Apple Bloom joined in with the hugs, still carefully watching over Celestia.
“What are we waiting for! Let’s go!” Celestia then proceeded to leap out of the store, and fly to...who even knows.
“NO WAIT COME BACK!” Sweetie screamed in horror as she chased the sun princess. Thankfully, she landed in front of the jewelry store. “Don’t just fly off, princess!” she almost collapsed from lack of air.
Twilight and Apple Bloom quickly followed after her, panting the second they arrived. “She’s...fast…” Apple Bloom breathed out.
Sweetie sighed and shoved Celestia into the store. “Good morning, Karot!” she greeted the owner of the store with a forced smile.
Karot smiled back at Sweetie Belle. “Good morning, Sweetie Belle, and Princess Celestia!” They greeted, then widened their eyes in shock. “...Princess Celestia?” They asked, looking right at her.
“Ask Twilight..” Sweetie whimpered. “Can you show us all the rings in the store? We kinda need to stall time…” She admired the glowing gemstones carved to perfection.
“Uhh...sure! First we have rubies, sapphires…” Karat began, pointing at the gemstones.
“No, those are not good enough!” Sweetie exclaimed. “Have anything more rare than that?”
“Hmm…” They pulled out a case containing rarely seen gems, even in some other shops, and opened it. “There’s red beryls, alexandrites-which can color change-black opals…”
“Ehhh… no…” Sweetie Belle winced as Celestia looked sad, but she needed more time. “Say, Twilight, how about you try?”
Twilight awkwardly walked towards the counter after trying to not look at...her. It’d be hard to do that for awhile. “Uhh-uhh...how about that blue one?”
“The larimar?” Karat asked.
“Y-yeah, that.” Twilight shakily answered.
“NO!” The white filly shouted so loud that Celestia almost bucked Apple Bloom in the face. “Too much metal and not enough shine!”
The hearts in Celestia’s eyes grew bigger. “Moonstone!”
Sweetie Belle groaned. This is going to take forever….

Scootaloo dragged Luna through the streets, the moon princess gushing about all the things she and her sister would do once they got married.
“Rainbow Dash!” Scootaloo yelped as Luna scooped up the filly and started skipping while humming gleefully. “Where are you?!”
Rainbow Dash was resting on a cloud like usual. Her ears flicked upon hearing the young filly, and she looked down. “I’m up here!”
Luna looked up at the cyan mare and sighed. “Can you help us get a wedding dress for my silly wiggy snooy subby Celestia~? She slurred with heart eyes. The smaller pony cradled in the immortal alicorn’s forearms cringed before mouthing, “Don’t ask, just help.”
“...Uhh, ok.” Rainbow Dash slowly replied, flying down to join them. Probably for the best to not ask.
At the wedding store, things were going much smoother than at the Jeweler, thanks to Rarity who was exploring that day for ideas.
“No, dear, that one is NOT your style! Too many ribbons!” The Element of Generosity put away the dress much to Luna’s distress. “Rainbow, darling, how it’s going with those dresses?” The fashion designer called as she once again started the hunt.
Rainbow held up two dresses, sighing. “Not sure if either of these would fit.”
A wedding dress seemly floated over to the speedster. “I can’t tell, it’s too big.” Scootaloo’s muffled voice emerged from the fabric.
“Pfft…” Rainbow couldn’t help but snicker at that.
Rarity gasped and grabbed the dress. “Why, this is such a lovely dress! Celestia would clearly enjoy it!”
“...Tia…?”
Scootaloo screamed in fear as Luna suddenly crashed through the display window.
“I MUST SEE MY TIA!”
As glass flew everywhere, Rarity fainted and the store was sent into chaos.
“Wh...what!?” Rainbow stuttered, her eye twitching as she watched the princess just run out like that.
“We have to stop her!” Scootaloo gave chase. “Before she gets eye contact with Celestia!” The Pegasus gasped as Luna was throwing Ponyville into a panic. “Oh no!”
“MY LITTLE SUGAR DARLING, WHERE ARE YOU~?” Luna called happily as she tore a house from its foundation and plowed over seven street vendors at once.
“How do we stop a princess that’s doing-whatever she’s doing!?” Rainbow asked in a panic, flying next to Scootaloo.
“I DON’T KNOW!” was the just as panic filled reply.
*meanwhile, at the Jewelry*
Sweetie Belle heard a faint voice followed by things crashing. ‘What was that?!” the unicorn whimpered. “Is a bad guy attacking?!”
Karot looked at the window, their eyes widened upon seeing the source of the noise. “No, but it is somepony good…”
Sweetie Belle looked in that direction and almost fainted. It was LUNA. The princess of the night was turning the town upside down! She zoomed past the window screaming for Celestia, everypony seeing who it was before she ran so fast a boom was heard.
“Lulu!!!” Celestia cheered. She immediately sprung out of the store, flying as fast as she could towards her as the hearts in her eyes got bigger.
Sweetie Belle suddenly found herself clinging onto the back of a rampaging alicorn who was now not only making the sun dance, but also help make such Ponyville was EXTRA trashed.
“PRINCESS SLOW DOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-” The filly screamed, staring back at the horrified gazes of Twilight and Apple Bloom. “SOMEPONY HELP ME!”
Twilight quickly teleported Sweetie Belle off of the princess, then proceeded to twitch her eye more. Apple Bloom looked at her, concerned. “Twilight? Are you ok?”
“Fine, perfectly fine, we just have to find a way to get them to calm down….” Twilight stuttered out, taking a few deep breaths just to not let That Incident happen again.
Some more screams rang out, and the two fillies and mare turned, only to see the sight of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash riding Celestia and Luna like bulls at a rodeo.
“UH, HEEL?” Scootaloo squeaked as she poked Celestia in the eye.
Celestia yelped a little, but continued to prance around with Luna. “I’m happy to see you again, mah swugary wugary Lulu!~”
“Me too~!”
Just as the royal sisters was about to make blissful eye contact, an orange hoove quickly smacked Celestia in the eyes, causing her to screech and stumble backwards, clutching her face in dazed pain.
Luna took off into the air, hoping to get her own assailant off her tail, but the rainbow maned pegasus quickly tugged a large blue wing backwards to the point where it would have broken if it bent any further. The panic of having a pony on her back and hindering her flying caused the princess to start spirling down in a freefall. Celestia took off into the air with a burst of speed that almost sent the filly on her back flying as well, but it was too late. Luna smacked right into a mud pit, taking Rainbow down with her.
“RAINBOW DASH!” Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle screamed in fear.
Luna groaned, her body aching and covered in mud and scratches. “Ow, my everything…!” she wailed.
Rainbow wheezed, as she slowly got up. “I-I’m okay!”
Scootaloo howled as Celestia started dive bombing right towards the mud pit. “TWIIILLIIIIGGGGHHHHHHTT!” the pegasus sobbed in despair.
Sweetie Belle covered her eyes as Twilight made an inhuman (inpony?) sound before teleporting her away from the scene, and back to where she was. All Apple Bloom could do was stare at the scene in shock.
“I shoulda bit my tongue before thinkin’ things would go well…”
CRASH!
Luna blinked in shock as the poison faded off. “What in Faust’s name…?!” She looked around and noticed 5 things.
The first was that she was in a pit. A very muddy pit.
The second was that Rainbow Dash was also in the pit, drenched from head to hoof in mud and leaves, but she was otherwise unharmed.
The third thing was that she was somehow in a wedding dress(before she crashed through the store window she magically put it on).
The fourth was that 3 filles and her elder sister’s student had jumped in less than 10 seconds ago, the filles’ coats dripping mud while Twilight’s hooves were splattered with brown.
The last was that said elder sister had smacked into the mud hole 3 seconds ago like a white haired meteor, and was now almost unrecognizable due to the astonishing amount of dirt and muck tainting her perfect fur and regalia. “Sister…?!”
Celestia groaned, then looked at the same sight as Luna. She tilted her head in confusion as she answered her sister. “Luna, I don’t think I have a clue either.” Her attention turned towards her, and she grew even more confused. “Why are you in a wedding dress?”
The blue haired mare rubbed her head. “I have no idea. Perhaps Rainbow Da- WHY IN FAUST’S NAME IS THE SUN MOVING AROUND LIKE DISCORD’S REALM?” Luna screamed and slid further into the pit’s mud at the horrifying sight.
“Wh-!” Celestia turned around, and looked at the flailing sun in surprise and shock. She instantly used her magic to stabilize it. “What happened to cause it to do that?” She wondered.
Twilight nervously laughed, her mane getting a bit ruffled. “It’s-uh-a long story.” She began, with an awkward smile on her face.
Luna blinked. “Care to tell us who were the culprits?”
Apple Bloom sighed. “It was me, Luna. I came up with this. I thought Celestia was dating somepony secret, and I wanted to help her out. So I got this love potion that turned out to be a love poison, and well...that happened.”
Luna’s jaw dropped and she sputtered in shock.
Sweetie Belle hung her head. “I also joined in as well…” the filly mumbled. Scootaloo only hung her head and shuffled her hooves.
“Why in the name of the gods would you think my sister is trying to have affairs?!” Luna finally choked out. “SO YOU ENDED UP MAKING ME FALL IN LOVE WITH MY OWN SIBLING????” A dark heavy blush could be seen staining the princess’ face.
Apple Bloom hid behind Twilight. “Y-yes. But I didn’t mean to, I swear!”
Celestia’s eye twitched in disgust at the thought of those previous events, and what they could’ve been like.
“I-I think this was all part of a giant misunderstanding, Princesses.” Twilight managed to get out.
“So-so the reason why I am in a wedding dress..?” Luna was on the verge of going catatonic.
Sweetie’s words could barely be detected. “Yeah… you tried to get married… And also kinda destroyed half of Ponyville..”
“AND had a make out session in plain view of all of Equestria while the sun danced around like it had a cutie mark in hip hoof…” Scootaloo added, looking away in disgust and shame.
“Aaaand wrecked buildings.” Apple Bloom also added, kicking the ground a little in embarrassment.
Luna’s eye twitched violently. She took a slow deep breath.
“I WILL HAVE YOUR HEADS!” The Royal Canterlot Voice boomed, making everypony wince and cover their ears.
THUNK.
“Welp, down she does!” Sweetie Belle giggled almost insanely at the now prone body of one of the most powerful beings in Equestria. “Say, we aren’t getting in trouble for this, right, Rainbow? Twilight? Princess Celestia?”
Celestia looked at her sister in shock again, then back at the group. Twilight’s mane grew even more ruffled.
“Now with that, I don’t think so, Sweetie Belle..” Apple Bloom sighed.
Luna suddenly jolted back up. “Oh no, you ARE.” A seething smoky anger started radiating from the immortal alicorn. “Are you aware of how much bits this is going to take to repay all the ponies who’s property we damaged….. The rumors that are no doubt are spreading like wildfire as we speak ...”
Sweetie and Scootaloo cowered and hugged each other in fear.
Celestia held her back a little. “Now, now, calm down sister. No need to intimidate them.” She said, gently.
“Tia!” Luna exclaimed in shock, giving her sibling an emotionally fueled look. “Surely thou are not suggesting We leave them unpunished for such a wretched act of doing…?”
“Thou WHAT?” Scootaloo asked, utterly confused.
“Not a harsh one. Perhaps just a cleaning around the castle.” Celestia suggested, then looked at the three fillies. “Would that be alright?”
Scootaloo glared at the floor. “I guess..” she relented, utterly tired and destroyed.
“O-ok….” Sweetie whispered.
“I’m used to work like that.” Apple Bloom joined in, with a bit of a tired tone.
Luna snarled and stomped her hoof. “This entire day has left me feeling like I was used as one of Tirek’s toys, and I do not even remember half of it! Now then, I am taking a VERY long bath. You can handle the rest, sister.” With a flash, the alicorn was gone.
“Uh….” Sweetie shuffled. “Now what? We can’t clean up the palace when all of us look like we were in a mud brawl!” The tiny unicorn’s once pristine white fur was now clogged and muddy. Scootaloo’s entire flank was splattered with muck and so were most of her legs. Celestia looked even worse; her wings were now so brown you couldn’t see an inch of white. Twilight only had stained hoofs, but poor Rainbow looked like a mud monster.
“Should we just bathe first then?” Apple Bloom asked.
“I’ll take anything relaxing, right now.” Twilight tiredly said.
Celestia couldn’t help but giggle a little at the mess, despite its context. Everypony looked ridiculous! “I suppose, yes.”
“Pfft, look at you, Princess…!” Sweetie Belle couldn’t help but giggle also. “Your wings are so brown!”
Scootaloo grinned. “Wow, Rainbow Dash is completely soaked in mud!”
Rainbow shook off most of the mud. “I-it’s not THAT funny…” She attempted to retort, but couldn’t help but crack up a little.
“Apple Bloom!” Scootaloo almost fell over in shock. “Your face!” She broke into spluttering laughs. “It’s so muddy ...!”
“Oh, really?” Apple Bloom smugly asked, then threw a bit of mud at her. “You too!”
As the two filles got into a mud fight, Sweetie Belle scampered over to Celestia, not caring that her fur got even more stained.
“Did you see Luna? Man, that was actually pretty funny!” The youngster beamed.
Celestia giggled again. “Yes, she takes things a little bit too seriously sometimes. I don’t blame her for being upset, but some of her ideas are...overkill.”
“She WAS gone for 1,000 years…” Sweetie Belle now looked sad, a huge contrast to the mud fight that was now between not only Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, but also Twilight and Rainbow Dash. “Do you think she’ll still adjusting..?”
“Yes, it’ll still take some time.” Celestia nodded. “But I’m sure that she’ll improve.”
“By the way Princes Celestia… We really are sorry we jumped to conclusions… We should have never done the stupid love potion in the first place…” Sweetie Belle teared up. She was crying a lot today, it seemed. “We also dragged the whole town into this mess…”
Celestia went over to gently hug her, a bit awkwardly due to the height difference. “It’s alright. Honestly, I think a lot of ponies would get things confused.”
Scootaloo left the mud fight to join them. “Uh… Also, we kinda also thought you were dating someone because you were at the Date Park! Do you know what a Date Park is?” She screeched as Twilight threw some more mud, and glared at the sheepish unicorn before rejoining the mud fight.
“No...I had no idea there was a location tailored for romance.” Celestia answered Scootaloo’s question while rubbing Sweetie Belle’s head.
“Aw, you’re making me blush!” Sweetie blushed, but then she suddenly had a terrifying thought. “Oh no, what am I going to tell Rarity?” Her sister would not be amused by this stunt at all.
Apple Bloom skidded to a stop. “And what am I gonna tell Applejack!?” She squeaked in realization.
“My aunts are NOT going to be happy…” Scootaloo moaned in fear. “How am I gonna tell them that I almost made Equestria get destroyed because I made the royal sisters fall in love?!”
Sweetie Belle burst into tears once more. “I-I am so sorry, Princess! W-we wasted your day and n-now you are gonna have to… snk... explain all this….”
Celestia closely hugged Sweetie Belle again.
“I thiiink maybe I can sort stuff out?” Rainbow recommended.
“Really?!” Rainbow’s Dash’s proclaimed number 1 fan flapped her tiny wings. “You mean it?!”
“Yeah, like, you’re already getting a punishment and have learnt your lesson. So they probably won’t be too angry.” Rainbow Dash confidently said.
“Rarity might be needin’ some help, though.” Apple Bloom added.
“What happened to her?” Twilight asked.
Scootaloo looked away. “Uhm… Let’s just say that she reacted kinda badly to Luna jumping out the wedding store display window…”
“Shouldn’t we go check up on her?” Celestia asked, concerned.
“No, she just fainted.”
Sweetie Belle let out a cry of distress. “This is all my faultttttttt!”
Seriously, it was amazing how she hasn’t run out of tears at this point of time.
Scootaloo sank into the mud, feeling it soak her fur even more. What a cursed day. What a cursed, dirty, sunny day.
(EPILOGUE, 1 DAY LATER)
Luna watched over the solar court next to her sister’s throne with a disinterested gaze as they watched the CMC scrub every crook and nanny squeaky clean. Celestia had been nice enough to cancel the Night and Day Court until the whole scandal with her and sister being an ‘item” died off, instead making diplomats handle those matters in the princeses office if need be. She started drinking some fresh cold water, gulping it down with a low sigh.
“How many tabloids do you think have been made about us by now?” The mare asked her sister with a blank expression.
“A lot. Hopefully, we can find a way to dispel all the rumors.” Celestia sighed, sipping some orange juice.
“Ugh, this stupid stain won’t go away!” Scootaloo growled lowly as her hoof furiously moved over a stained brown spot. “Apple Bloom, can I have the bleach?”
“Here ya go.” Apple Bloom gave the bleach to Scootaloo, then went back to rubbing the walls. For a castle, it sure is unclean… She thought.
A squeal rang from the other side of the court. “EW, THERE ARE ROACHES IN THE CORNERS!” Sweetie Belle leaped to almost Celestia’s height and dashed to the huge windows. “I’ll be cleaningthisinstead!”
Celestia lowered her ears. “I should probably get some control for that…”
“OH NO NO THERE ARE COMING OVER HERE!” Scootaloo made a flying leap into Luna’s chest. Luna spluttered and fell onto the floor, quickly getting covered by swarming bugs along with Scootaloo.
“[Censored Swears]!!!!” Luna bellowed in terror. “GET THEM AWAY! GET THEM AWAY!”
“Oh mother of me!” Celestia shouted, teleporting the insects to outside. She ran over to Luna. “Are you alright?”
“Wretched mothers of prosta-” Luna trailed off when she realized that there were young filles in the area. “I am.. fine…”
Apple Bloom couldn’t help but giggle a little. It was gross, but weirdly funny.
Sweetie Belle let out a small snort, and Scootaloo grinned.
“ . . . Maybe we should give a potion to-”
“NO!”
