I was glad that I wasn’t hit in the head or anything. We just sat in a room, with a candle in front of me and Thorax. I’d have to admit that the candle looked nice. “So... I have a 3 questions to ask you, Ingy..” he said. “I-It’s INKY..” “Oh..um..ok then, Inky..” he put his hooves to together. He took a breath and looked at me again. I was intimidated by his overall height. “1.) Are you trying to spy on the hive, at all?” He asked. I shook my head. He nodded. This seemed easy, and I could answer all of these! I mean...I thought. “2.) How old are you?..” He asked. “13?..” “...Ok..” His eyes narrowed. Like he didn’t fully believe me. I looked about. Then he asked the last question. This one...kinda...made me feel a bit weird. “3.) When was the last time you saw Queen Chrysalis..” He asked. My eyes widened a bit. I felt them dimming. My eyes went black. I didn’t wanna answer this. I haven’t seen her in 11 years, and I don’t wanna remember, but I remember almost everything. “...I-I saw her b-before I left...” I started shaking. He noticed this, and his eyes widened a bit. I tensed up. “I..I almost d i e d before I-I left...I don’t wanna..r-remember..a-anymore..” I wrapped my hooves around myself. I started crying. He put his hoof on my shoulder, and looked sympathetic. My eyes were turning back to normal, but I was still crying. “Hey, hey, hey...it’s ok..” Thorax comforted. I calmed down a bit. I wiped the tears off of my eyes and sighed. I looked up at Thorax, and he rubbed my head a bit. I smiled and sighed again. We began to talk, before leaving the room. “So..I-is he safe to be around?..” One of the Changelings asked. Thorax nodded. I smiled a bit, then frowned when I looked down at my own hoof. It was broken, and fulls on holes. Thorax looked to me and put his hoof on my back. I got startled and looked up at him, and he was smiling. “Hehe...t-thank you..King Thorax..” I said. He giggled a bit. I was confused, and asked him why he was laughing. “Hehehe..you can just call me Thorax!..” he smiled. I smiled too, as we kept walking around. Inky-Chapter 3-Bad SituationScreaming. That’s it. Screaming. I looked around, frantically. I didn’t know why. Me? I thought. It was the best explanation. But no...it was something else. Me and Thorax came toward the commotion. “What’s going on?!..” Thorax questioned. One of the Changelings pointed to the problem. He looked down and he backed up. “NOLING TOUCH IT!” He yelled. Everyling backed away from it, except me. I was fascinated. I just thought, just a little tap, wouldn’t hurt, right? but I. Was. Wrong. I tapped it and it flung into the air. “INKY! GET AWAY FROM IT!” Thorax called. I was stuck. I couldn’t move, and I was paralyzed. “I-I can’t!” I struggled to move. I just tried and tried, but nothing happened. It came toward me. It looked like some sorta necklace. It latched on to me, and the clasp disappeared. I fell over, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Thorax just ran toward me. “W-What’s wrong?! More importantly, why did you touch it?!” He started freaking out. I kept coughing and shaking. I could not breathe. Something was happening to me, and I didn’t know what. Then....it all...went....black. I saw light again, and I woke up. I rubbed my head, it hurt like the sun burning someone’s eyes. I looked around. I got up, but ended up collapsing. “O w...” I said, annoyed. I couldn’t even walk now. Great! I scooted toward the wall. That’s when Thorax came in. He looked extremely stressed out, and panicky. “INKYAREYOUOKIDON’TKNOWWHATHAPPENEDYOUJUSTPASSEDOUTEVERYLINGSTARTEDPANICKINGNOWI’MPANICKINGAND-“ He spoke extremely fast. “Woah woah woah, Thorax, I’m ok now!” I said. I stood up, my legs shaking. I kept my balance though. I put my hoof on his shoulder and looked at him. “It’s ok. I’m fine. What about the others?” I asked. “-huff- They..They’re fine now. I’m just worried if you’re ok...” He said, slower, but not less panicked. I smiled, to show him I was fine. Although, my head had a splitting headache and my legs were super numb, I had to show him that I was ok. “I-I’m fine! See?” I said. He looked at me, and sighed. He smiled. “Yeah...I do...” We then left, I was left with lots of pain and numbness, but it was worth it. Inky-Chapter 1: Thorax?I was alone... I didn’t know what to do... I was just...lost... I was cold, and hungry... for LOVE and food. I was hiding in a cave for..what..a couple years now... until I tried setting out to find a place to call home... I started my move through the snow. I didn’t know where I was.. I was just confused where to go. I just wanted food...a lot of food... After 15 minutes of traveling, I was about to give up, until I saw something in the distance. It was some sort of portal device left out in the snow. I went toward it, and stood on top of it, observing it.. I found a little button next to the device, and decided, “I should press it”. So I did what I thought I should do, press it. But then, I heard a whirling noise from the machine. As I waited, it was sending sparks flying on to the ground..then... I don’t remember what happened next, because I passed out. All I know is that I wasn’t where I was before... I woke up in a entirely new area, full of rocks and moss.. I swear I could sense other Changelings around. I slowly got up to make sure noling could hear me. The ground wasn’t as dark as before, it was lighter and more...bright... I could’ve sworn I heard hoofsteps..or something... I was quite nervous, to be completely honest.. when the odd figure came toward me, he was quite tall..now, I’m about 6’7, which might be considered tall, for some people...but he was quite taller than me... “Oh! You’re awake?..” the tall Changeling said. He had a light lime green chitin with a brilliant gamboge chest..which I mean it’s orange. His eyes were moderate rose. They were a very nice color..better than mine...my eyes were each different colors. One eye was gray, and the other was red.. “U-Umm..Yes? I-I am?” I said, nervously. I didn’t know what to say.. “Hm...I see..” All I was thinking was (AM I ABOUT TO DIE?! I AM CONFUSED!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-), but instead of saying it out loud, I merely held my breath. “So, welcome to the new Changeling Hive, and you must be?..” He stared at me a bit, and I was scared that he would hurt me.. “U-U-Uhhh...I-Inky, sir..” I stood up straight and still, but I trembled a bit.... “Hm..I see you’re not...Uh..a reformed Changeling..but that’s fine!..As long you don’t hurt anyone in the Hive, you are free to stay as long as you want..” Thorax smiled a bit. I was still nervous, but less than I was before. “Ok..come with me...” Thorax walked toward a “room”. My eye twitched a bit. “O-O-Ok...” I stuttered. This...was NOT gonna be good...
