Chapter 20 The Light Bringer

Little Pip's P.O.V.

Why did it take so fucking long just to drive to our destination. Oh wait, we all agreed this morning to find Sunset Shimmer first......that is honestly surprising. The drive was so quiet, and empty, but at least I wasn't alone. Breakfast was getting a bit rough, especially with how much of the sandwiches we tasted. Blech, I swear sometimes the beef jerky, or sometimes even the cheese we eat, tastes like concrete. Thankfully Calamity is alright, and I think this long drive is getting to him, and Velvet. Sometimes, while having odd conversation's, they bicker like an old married couple. I asked Velvet if she was smitten with him because of how much she argued with him.

She kept denying it, but I could tell she was totally head over heel's for the guy. If her apparent blush didn't confirm that then I don't know what will. "Hey Little Pip it's your move" Blackjack told me, as I snapped out of my dazed thought's, while focusing on our game.

"What......oh sorry I was a bit distracted" I told her.

"So what's your next move?" Blackjack asked, as I looked down at my hand of card's. I sighed, as I decided to call, showing my hand to her.

"3 of kind" I told her, as Blackjack raised an eyebrow showing me her hand.

"Flush" She replied, showing me her card's.

"Dammit you won again" I chuckled, as Blackjack threw her head back with a small laugh.

"Of course I did, after all my name is Blackjack" Blackjack smiled, as I rolled my eyes.

"That explain's why your good at card's, and apparently at combat, is their anything you can't do?" I asked, as Blackjack chuckled.

"Singing apparently, when I try to sing I either sound like a dying mule, or a sick cow underwater" Blackjack told me, as I laughed. Even though Blackjack, and I weren't on good term's the only way we passed the time was by playing the same game of Poker over, and over again. It was either this or just wait hour's upon hour's of nail biting terror, expecting our enemies to attack, or for us to reach our destination.

Velvet's father was driving the SUV up front, while his mother clinged to entire body to her husband's back. Lucky bastard, I bet he's having the time of everything, while his wife presses her breast's against his back. I wonder how hot it would be if I pressed my breast's against someone I marry in the future......or the way we would.......mind out of the gutter Pip......mind out the gutter. "Hey....hey Little Pip do you want to play another game, or have you had enough?" Blackjack asked me, as I snapped out of my dirty thought's.

"N-n-no I'm good, I feel like stopping there for now" I told her, as Blackjack just shrugged.

"Okay" Blackjack smiled, as she put the card's away, while staring off into space. Unfortunately I started to do the same thing as well. I looked down at my breast's giving them an odd stare. A pair of C-cup's.....I wonder what my mother's breast size was, or how she act's toward my father......OH GODDESSES Little Pip MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER. Ugh, I definitely think this ride has gotten to me. I'm now thinking about comparing my boob's to other mare's boob's.....please tell me were about to stop soon, I can't stand this silence. Look's like I finally got my wish, because I felt the SUV come to a huge halt, as did the other vehicle.

"Enough driving for today, we leave at dawn" Velvet's father spoke, as we all climbed out of the vehicle. It was hard setting up camp, after eating more of the sandwich's we made with what we had. I watched the sun start to set, as it reflected off of my skin. Not too far behind all of us made a campfire, and sat down gathered around it. Blackjack pulled out one of her special cigarettes, and lit the cigarette with the lighter. She threw her head back, as she puffed out the smoke, while holding the cigarette in her finger's. Velvet's father began speaking to us again.

"In case all of you have not realized....Terra, and Equestria are broken. The mighty Keizer Ghidorah rules both of these world's with an iron fist, and it's up to us to find the answer's we seek, and to stop him at all cost" Velvet's father explained, as Blackjack spoke up in a rather tomboyish voice, that sounded a bit rusty.

"What makes you think we'll find something at this new place?" She asked, motioning toward the Amulet Amber carried.

"I don't know if we will.....but it's our best bet to finding the answer's we seek" Velvet's father spoke, as Amber sighed.

"I have so many question's, everytime I want to know about my parent's, or past......everything get's so blurry and ANNOYING!!!!!!!!" Amber hissed, as I felt her pain. All these questions that bombarded my head only made me so confused, and frustrated.

"Patience Amber.....Patience. I know all of you demand answer's, and to be honest so do I, but we have got to be extra careful. Who knows what forces Keizer Ghidorah has in this world, and that's what scares us the most" The Dragon spoke. Both Amber, and I took a small breather, before I felt like speaking.

"What if we don't find the answer's were looking for?" I asked, as Velvet's father looked off into the distance, before answering my question.

"Then we will just have to ask more question's" He replied. Finally night came, as we found what appeared to be an old destroyed barn. The hay had not been taken care of, and was full of clean hay. We both fell asleep on the hay, while Calamity decided to keep watch. I layed there in the soft hay, my eyes completely open, as I stared at my Pipbuck, lost in deep thought. It felt so cold in here, but I had to cope. I clutched my body, as I let some of the clean hay cover me, while I shut my eyes.

"Little Pip.....Get up......GET UP" Calamity told me, as I let out a loud yawn waking up near the middle of the night.

"Calamity......*yawn* why are you waking me up so early?" I asked still a little drowsy.

"TROUBLE, WE'VE GOT WHAT LOOK'S LIKE TERRA'S VERSIONS OF RAIDER'S, and there FIRING AT US!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted, as my adrenaline jumpstarted my body. I was immediately wide awake, rolling in the hay to quickly grab my shotgun, and pistol that I had left. Calamity ducked, as he dodged some assault rifle gunfire as I grabbed my weapon's, and charged to find out where they were attacking us from. They were attacking from behind, and in front of us. I managed to take cover with the other's, as I kept my head down.

"HERE!!!!!!!" Velvet's father shouted, as he threw me a fully loaded pistol. I began to open fire killing the blue hooded human's, and ponies that tried to kill us.

"TAKE THAT YOU TWISTED FUCCCKKSSSS!!!!!!!!" I screamed, as I continued to gun down more of my enemies. Death Machine attacked with his bare claw's, while dodging their incoming fire. Unfortunately it only got worse. A gigantic blue garbage truck, began to roll backward toward us. It parked on the huge hill, before opening the back, revealing a gigantic twin rocket pod.

"FALL BACK, EVERYONE FALL BACK, QUICKLY......GO, GO, GO, GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Calamity shouted, as the next thing we knew, a garbage truck was firing missile's at us. It was so chaotic, and terrifying for all of us, dodging the explosions that bombarded around us. I swore it felt like I was going to die, but fate had other plan's for me. I was staggering from the explosion's, but continued running with my entire body intact. We got to the SUV's, trying to back up as we returned fire from the top. The garbage truck began to pursue after us, still firing it's missile's. A loud roar was heard, one that matched a Sharklantean.

Another Sharklantean from out of nowhere crushed the entire garbage truck with powerful force, before seeing a Yellow Unicron mare, up ahead her horn glowing with magic. With a lot of magical power, she created a red, and yellow sun that went from the tip of her horn, to now be balanced magically by her hand's. "CRUEL SUUUUNNNN!!!!!!!" The mare shouted, as she threw the entire molten sun into the raider's. All of them screamed in pain, being burned alive, or were completely melted from her attack. After tearing apart everything, the mare entered the SUV I was in, panting from the huge battle that was fought. She was a yellow unicorn mare with a yellow, and red striped mane.

"SUNSET SHIMMER? HOW DID YOU FIND US!?!?!?!?!?!?" Little Pip's father shouted, as she gave him, and Rarity a focused stare.

"We'll worry about that later, right now we need to get to our safehouse before more of the Silverwolves show up" She told us, as all of us tilted our head to the side in confusion.

"Silverwolves!?!?!?!?!?!?" We all said unison, a little confused. After a rather small drive, we came across a rather Arabian like house, that was a bit wrecked, but still beautiful. We all journeyed inside with Sunset Shimmer, and the other Sharklantean that looked like a mix breed. The place was filled with many Sultan mare's, putting me in an awkward situation. I never have been in a place like this, and their were mares wearing the most skimpiest clothing I'd ever seen. It felt so awkward just to be in here. Thankful to go into a private meeting room, Blackjack got curious, wanting to know more.

"So what are these Silverwolves?" Blackjack asked, as we all turned to her for an answer.

"Ever since Terra was destroyed there were a pair of outlaws that formed out here who call themselves the Silverwolves. It you payed them a nice ransom, they mostly stayed out of your way. If someone payed them to take you out, they'll do their best to kill you" Sunset explained, as Velvet's mother spoke up next from mostly staying silent throughout this journey.

"The Armada must have hired them to take us out, unless it was just that batch of Silverwolves" She shrugged a bit confused.

"He probably should have payed more if he wanted to take you all out" Sunset chuckled, before imparting her information. From what I heard of what was going on, every creature in both world's referred to me as the Light Bringer.......Simply because of who my mother was before the Second War. These rumor's were unique, but I never wanted to go by that name....or even chose it. We didn't get much, but it was very helpful. Hard to believe that Sunset's daughter was grown up, and married. Blackjack wasn't happy about receiving just another single piece of information. She responded with throwing beer bottles off the table, and then flipping the table itself. Death Machine managed to calm her down, which she did rather quickly. Sunset, and Ripjaw.....her husband, agreed to come with us to find Starlight. "Alright since that's all I can impart, make yourselves at home, Ripjaw, and I are going to go have some fun"

She cooed, as she took her husband to their quarters. Velvet decided to see if their were any re-supplies to stock up on, while I joined her with Calamity. Her parent's took the opportunity to also have fun, and I think the same went for Spitfire, and Rodan. Blackjack went to check up on Death Machine, while Sugarcakes decided to dance with the Sultan's.....nude. I'm concerned for Comet Trail, because Sugarcakes dragged him with her to "see the show" as she put it. Checking on inventory managed for us to recover some AK-47's that belonged to Silverwolves. It also had a lot of ammo......first automatic weapon for me.

I let out a soft sigh from checking the inventory. Boy.......this was going to be one hell of a day.

End of Little Pip's P.O.V.

Death Machine strolled into an area where he was alone. He sat down taking a few deep breath's, as he sat there pondering. He had brought a small bag with him, as he reached inside to pull something out. In it was a small picture frame of Octavia. He touched the picture with his own claw's with thought's of remorse playing through his head. "I miss you Octy" Death Machine sighed, as he continued to stare at the picture. He heard the sound of footstep's nearby, as Blackjack entered the area, sitting down next to him.

"Is it alright if I sit next to you?" Blackjack asked, as Death Machine gave her a small smile.

"Not at all" He told her, as Blackjack looked down at the picture of Octavia.

"Who is she?" Blackjack asked, as Death Machine took a deep breath, before answering her question.

"Her name is Octavia, she used to be my wife.......but she was killed saving me, when the Great Disaster happened, boy was she someone special" Death Machine told her, as Blackjack gave him a curious look.

"What was she like?" Blackjack asked, as Death Machine chuckled, looking down with hint's of sadness.

"Octavia was a special kind of mare. She was classy, liked certain types of music, and was a good Cello player. She also had a kinky side of her, she only showed toward me. We would have watched our child grow up, if the Great Disaster hadn't taken both of that from me" Death Machine sighed, as Blackjack told him about her lover stallion she was partners with, before the Tyrant had him killed. Both of them got use to each other's company, before Blackjack scooted over to him, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Death Machine was caught of guard by this, as he stared at the mare herself.

"W......What was that for?" Death Machine asked, as Blackjack let out a small chuckle.

"Its a small thank you" She told him, before leaving the area. It was hard for Death Machine to resist staring at the mare's rear, while she was on her way out.
