Chapter 5 Leaving the Stables

By morning was when everything changed. Little Pip was trotting through the Stables, humming happily to herself to return Velvet's Pipbuck, which she held in her hand. Little Pip ended up reaching the hallway with thousand's of gathering ponies, whispering into each other's ear's, striking her interest. "Agh, damm paparazzi, how am I suppose to push through?" She muttered under her breath, before speaking up. "Hey, everypony move.....Agh, what's going on?" Little Pip asked.

"She's gone" One of the stallions told her, as Little Pip looked at the stallion in confusion.

"Gone....who's gone?" Little Pip asked.

"Velvet Remedy.....she's left the stable" The stallion told her.

"V-Velvet G-Gone......Oh goddesses no......." Little Pip said to herself, looking down to the ground in sadness.

"I didn't even know the stable door's could open" One of the Stallions mentioned. Little Pip felt her entire body freeze, as those word's reached her brain.

SHE'S GONE OUTSIDE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Little Pip's mind screamed. Meanwhile the Overmare could hear the chatter, and made sure to bring order to all of them.

"Do not worry everypony, I have a tracking device placed on each Pipbuck, and know the serial numbers inscribed on them. I will send out a rescue party as soon as possible" The Overmare re-assured them......however all of them heard a loud clatter, as Velvet's Pipbuck dropped out of Little Pip's hand. It rolled toward the Overmare's foot, while the Overmare turned to her staring at the shocked Little Pip.

"LITTLE PIP!!!!!!!!!" The Overmare growled, trying to suppress her anger, as she walked toward her with a stern look.

"Y-yes......Overmare?" Little Pip asked, swallowing a lump down her throat, as the Overmare spoke.

"WHY DO YOU HAVE THIS!?!?!?!?!?!" The Overmare asked. The others began to jeer, and boo Little Pip, before the Overmare turned to all of them, as she gave them a stern look. "SILENCE.....Little Pip take that, and go to your quarter's......swiftly" The mare told her, as Little Pip nodded. She did what the Overmare had asked, while taking Velvet's Pipbuck with her.

Little Pip began to run into her room, feeling bad of letting her friend escape the stables. "Aww man, how could I let this happen, those ponies have a right to hate me, I'm the one that let Velvet get away" Little Pip sighed sadly, feeling tears slowly coming down her eyes. "V-V-Velvet.....why......why did you go?" Little Pip sighed sadly, her voice echoing to the darkness of the room around her. She heard the Overmare over the speakers, talking about the departure of Velvet Remedy, which only brought sadness to other's........at least to a few. Little Pip didn't even have the gut's to leave her quarter's, and yet here she was. A knock on Little Pip's door caught her attention, as she sighed sadly, from hearing the knock.

"Look I know you have a right to hate me for letting Velvet go, so please, just go away" Little Pip cried, before a soft mare accent spoke.

"I don't hate you, I'm here to talk, I'm here to help you" The mare spoke, as Little Pip sighed sadly, before getting up, and opening the door. The mare looked a bit young, roughly at an age of 39, almost in her 40's. The mare was an Earth Pony, and wore a hoodie like robe which she guessed was the only thing she wore. Judging how this mare was dressed, she was from the pleasure club's, but she didn't look like in the mood for business, or pleasure....just word's.

"What exactly can you help me with?" Little Pip asked, before the mare spoke.

"Velvet Remedy chose to left, because she has an important destiny that lies outside these Stables, and so do you" The mare told her, as she sat down on the bed.

"What exactly do you mean?" Little Pip asked, as the mare chuckled in response.

"Trust me, beyond the outside world there is a secret to your past. A secret to how these stables were built, but in order for you to find that out, you must journey outside" The mare told her.

"GO OUTSIDE......ARE YOU INSANE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Little Pip shouted, as the mare re-assured her.

"Trust me, my word's are not insane, but they will help you. There is also a person on the outside who will let you survive, two other's will make sure you escape, but you have to find Velvet Remedy" The mare told her, as Little Pip looked at the mare.

"But how do I leave the stable?" Little Pip asked.

"The answer is on Velvet's Pipbuck. My big sister will meet you in a secret place near the door's, she'll have everything for your journey to the wasteland's" The mare informed her as she got up, and left through the door, leaving Little Pip with her own thought's. Little Pip looked at Velvet's Pipbuck, finding the audio recording, that Applejack gave her.

"Huh it's an audio recording that was recorded the day before yesterday, could it be a recording to her song?" She pondered, still proceeding with the thought's that the mare told her. She played the audio recording of the Stable door code......CMC3BBFF. "T-The stable door OVERRIDE CODE, did that mare's sister give her this?" Little Pip asked herself. She had so many decisions, but as much as she hated it, she felt like trusting the word of that mare, which meant that there was only one thing to do. "I may not like the odd's, but it seem's the answers I want.......are outside" Little Pip sighed, as she began her plans.

Little Pip sneakily managed to walk down the hall's, to find the locker, running into Applejack. "I was waiting for you.....were You spotted?" Applejack asked.

"No, they didn't spot me, why is that?" Little Pip asked.

"I fear that they tracked my plan's, I can't stay in your sight for long. I've packed you enough food, and water for your trip, don't worry there will be two other's who will help you get out" Applejack told her, handing her the supplies.

"Thank you" Little Pip smiled, taking everything she could acquire.

"Also you'll need this just in case, it used to belong to me during the Second War" Applejack told her, handing her a revolver with her Cutie Mark symbol's on it.

"W-wait.......Second War? What do you mean by that?" Little Pip asked.

"NO TIME FOR THAT.......QUICKLY.......GO!!!!!!!!!!!" Applejack told her, as Little Pip quickly nodded, sneaking toward the area of the Stables where it was guarded, by two earth pony guard's.

"Ahem, uh excuse me if you can let me get by......" Little Pip spoke to the guard's.

"Sorry this port is off limit's.......no exceptions" The guard's told her. Little Pip began to think, before speaking again, hoping this plan would work.

"I am certified Stable Tech Technician, the Overmare specifically requested that I specifically check that the stable door panels are working correctly" She told them in a bold voice.

"Prove it" One of the guard's told her, as Little Pip stuttered in response. "That's what I thought, beat it" The guard told her. Little Pip sighed.

"Oh well guess it resolves to this......." Little Pip told them, before using her magic for her crate to knock then unconscious, from behind, making her smile. "Pffft too easy" She smiled, as she went to the stable console, hoping everything would work.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING STOP, I ORDER FOR YOU TO STOP THIS INSTANCE......I NEED EVERY GUARD AT STABLE 2 DOOR......STOP THAT FILLY!!!!!!!!!" The Overmare shouted over the speaker's. Little Pip began to panic, aa she began trying to type in the code door's, messing up twice due to being nervous. Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap Little Pip thought to herself before typing the correct code in.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!" The guard's shouted. Little Pip gulped in response as she had been caught. As the guard's slowly approached the mare, two gigantic beast's dragged the guard's out of a dark area, and slammed one of them into a wall knocking him unconscious. One guard was kicked to the opposite wall near Little Pip, while two more guard's were also knocked out next to the wall. The last guard began to get up, when two Sharklatantean's, walked out of the darkness. They were the 20 year old Sharklantean's son's of Applebloom, Applejack, and Mega........Wrecker, and Crasher.

"Sorry boy's, but we ain't no bird's, were leaving this hellhole, and that's final" The Sharklantean's grinned; Before Little Pip could question anything more, the stable door siren's blared loudly as the door began to open.

"It's time" Little Pip told herself, as the Overmare spoke over the speakers.

"NONE OF YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!" The Overmare shouted.

"Hey Overmare........." Wrecker shouted before raising two middle finger's at the camera's. "........Fuck you" He smiled, as he heard a loud thundering boom on the microphone. All three of them left the stable door's, the other guard's quickly approaching before they shut the door's behind them. There was no way back, and their journey, was only in darkness.......the adventure......was just beginning.
