The Return
Twilight looked up at her brother with eyes that spoke of the shame and disgrace she was feeling. She was practically begging him to reconsider his position on their siblingship. “Shining Armor,” she said softly, “please…I’m pleading with you…don’t do this!”
“Don’t do it?” He asked her, “why shouldn’t I? I always wondered about being intimate with our mother. Now I’m gonna get to feel something I’ve wanted even more than that: you. I’ve always been sexually attracted to you, Twilight. Now, I’m gonna get to experience your body and watch you cower beneath me as I do it! It all seems so surreal…yet, it’s actually happening!”
“Don’t you have enough power already?” She asked. “Look at me, Shining Armor! I am your sister! I’m bleeding and broken beneath you, and you’re about to commit the most cowardly, disgusting, profane, and perverse act one pony can do with another. Not only would you be taking advantage of a mare, but that mare just so happens to be the only living family member you have! But I know now that you’re a power hungry stallion, and as long as your tongue dances with Lilly’s on a nightly basis, that’s not gonna change! You disgust me. Just do whatever you want with me. I have no strength left to fight you. But know that you will take this shame to your grave!”
She seethed at her brother, but she couldn’t move. The position Queen Lilly had left her in was held together with special magic bonds, and she couldn’t break them. It seemed even her pristine magical capabilities weren’t enough to quell the pure evil that stood before her. Even so, she still mentally pleaded with Shining not to disgrace her like this. Please…don’t, she thought, I’m begging you…don’t.
She saw Shining Armor’s eyes begin to waver. A smile played with the corners of her lips as she thought he might be coming around. She saw flashes of the kind and wonderful brother she had once known and loved with all her heart. Memories of playing together as foals ran through her head, and she wanted to grab each one for fear that it might escape and never return. She could start to see their bond being restored and she thought she might have finally broken through his stone wall.
But then his eyes clouded over with the same lust for power and domination that she had seen before and her face fell. She braced herself for him to invade her body and gritted her teeth together when she felt himself press closer to her. “You’re so beautiful, my sister,” he growled seductively, “come on…who’s a good girl? Hm?”
“I’m no dog,” she said to him.
Her defiance didn’t faze him. “You’re gonna be my pet for the rest of the night,” he said as he licked her ear, “and then you’re gonna come with us back to Canterlot where, if you’re lucky, you MIGHT be spared your life for this treason!”
“HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, YOU SICK BUCK!” A voice suddenly screamed. Twilight perked her ears up. It sounded so familiar. It was commanding, yet gentle. It was almost deceptively feminine, though the pony who possessed the voice was definitely a mare. It carried with it a sense of duty and honor, yet a sense of compassion and love. It almost sounds like-
That was all Twilight could think before a large mass suddenly knocked her brother away from her. It undid her bonds, and she wobbled upwards. But the fact that she now only had three legs didn’t help, and she plopped right back down on her stomach. She couldn’t do anything, so she just lay there and watched in awe as the dimly lit silhouettes of her brother and the newcomer waged a terrific, vicious battle.
Suddenly, her brother was felled and the new pony leapt from the shadows. Twilight’s face broke into a huge smile of surprise and joy. “St…St…STARLIGHT!” She screamed with delight, “what the buck are you doing here?! I thought you were dead!”
“I never was,” Starlight said, “it was all simply a part of my plan to rid ourselves forever of these evildoers!”
“I…don’t understand! How?!”
Starlight turned to respond, but Shining Armor suddenly got up. “How DARE you?!” He shrieked at Starlight, “I was getting ready to impart my loins into my sister, and you got in the way!”
“You make me wanna vomit,” Starlight said in a rage, “do you have any respect for anypony?!”
“The only pony I respect and love is my darling Lilly! She’s the mother of my foals and the true ruler of this land!”
“NOT QUITE!” Another new voice spoke up. This one was all feminine, and all commanding. Twilight cowered at its tone, and she suddenly felt like she was about an inch tall. The voice that spoke was one of majesty, confidence, regality, and purity. But even though it sounded as if it were born out of the deepest depths of a storm cloud, it also sounded as sweet as a song. It sounded as if some great savior had risen from the deepest parts of the Earth and come to save them at the very last moment.
She managed to scoot around and get a look at the newcomers. She had never seen these ponies before. One was pure white with the brightest of suns for a cutie mark. Her mane flowed with all the colors of the rainbow, and a great crown of gold rested on her head. Her eyes were pink flames, and her hooves were coated in gold. The other was blue as the deepest of nights. Her mane flowed the same color, and the dust of the stars was embroidered within it. Her cutie mark was a beautiful crescent moon, and she had a black crown.
Twilight also noticed that her brother and his wife were huddled together in great fear. She had never seen anypony take Queen Lilly from ferocious tyrant to shivering foal before, and it satisfied her greatly. She was also excited to see her brother knocked back a few pegs, and she suddenly had great respect and admiration for the newcomers. They exuded power and great dignity, and she suddenly bowed to them out of instinct. They just looked like the type of ponies one would prostrate themselves in front of.
The white one took notice. “Arise, Twilight Sparkle,” she said, “for we shall need your help to defeat this hell and usher in a new era of heaven in Equestria. I also believe that you’ll be needing a new leg.”
With that, Twilight felt the most compassionate and loving ray of magic she had ever felt wash over her. She saw the brightness of the sun and the coolness of the moon as one, and she felt new life course through her veins. When she came out, her eyes glowed white, and she found that she had a crown of her own. She didn’t know what it was for, but she figured she would ask as soon as the impending battle was over.
“Lilly and Shining Armor,” the dark blue one said, “you have committed crimes of treason, rape, murder, forced prostitution, forced military service, and many other charges too numerous to count. You are truly the most evil force Equestria has ever faced.”
“But much like Tirek, Chrysalis, and Sombra before you, we shall overcome you! By the power of the sun…
“…the power of the moon…”
“…and the power of friendship…” Twilight finished before looking at the great mares beside her. They nodded and the white one said, “…we shall destroy you! Now, then, great ponies of the Town of Friendship…CHARGE!”
