She had an orange mane and there was a red line running down the middle of her mane. Her mane style was like Rainbow Dash. Her tail was the same color and cut short. She had a yellow coat and her cutie mark was the flaming orange wings. Her eyes were red and under her neck was a pair of goggles. She was currently talking to Spitfire, who was the captain of the Wonderbolts. "Look, you're the fastest mare I know! Your records are impressive and you are the only mare we know that can perform the Sonic Flameboom! You'll become a great asset to the team!!" The Wonderbolts Captain said to Firesky, who looked at her uninterestedly. "I really appreciate your invitation, but my answer is still no. If I join Wonderbolts, it means I'd have to leave my friends behind and I definitely won't do that." Firesky told Spitfire, who was looking desperate. "I told you that you won't have to!! I've seen what you can do!!" Said Spitfire. "Sorry Spitfire but the answer is still no. They are like my family and I won't leave them behind." Said Firesky. Spitfire sighed and said. "Fine, I won't force you. If you want to join the team, you know where to find us." Firesky watched Spitfire flew away. She sighed and flew to Oak Golden Library. When she flew to the place, she knocked the door. The door opened revealed a lavender unicorn. Her cutie mark was a book that had a star on it. She was Mixville's librarian and Lunatist's number one student, "You know, this is a library, you don't need to knock the door every time you come here." The lavender unicorn explained to her friend. "Sorry, Twin. It's a habit. Can I come in?" Asked Firesky. "Oh, sure." Twinkle Sparkler avoided to let her friend came in. "So, why are you here anyway? Borrow some Scaring Scost books?" "Yep. Wait ... How'd you know?" Firesky asked her friend in surprise. "Oh come on, Firesky! That's almost the only reason you come here every time!" Twinkle said while taking out the Scaring Scost books. She walked to her friend, gave her the books and said. "I can't believe you like these horror books." "It's just like you like these magic books." Firesky said as she pointed to the books lying on the table. Twinkle chuckled and said. "Yeah, you got me." "Well, thanks for letting me borrow these books!" She said before flying away, leaving a fire trail behind. Firesky was lying on the cloud, reading a book. Suddenly a familiar voice called her from below, she looked down and saw a pink earth pony, her cutie mark was a cake. She worked at Sugarcube Corner and specializes in throwing paries for everypony. Firesky flew the cloud close to it and asked. "Hey, Pinks. What's up?" "Oh, nothing. Twin asked us to gather at the library to test a new spell! Everypony has gathered there!!! So are you coming?! Well, If you're not coming then I'll come back and say 'Hey! 'Sky won't come!!' and Twin will ask 'Why won't she come?' and then I'll say 'I don't know, because she didn't say why!!' and she-" Pinkis Pie was interrupted by a hoof placed on her mouth. "Okay okay, I get it!" Firesky said as she removed a hoof from Pinkis' mouth. "I won't come because my break time is over. I'll be there in five minutes, 'kay?" "Okie dokie!!" Pinkis replied as she pounced toward the library. At the library, there were five mares gathering there. The four mares were looking at the lavender unicorn. "So Twinkle, dear, why are we gathering here again?" Asked the orange unicorn, her cutie mark was an apple made of a gemstone. She had a blonde mane and tail and the same manestyle as Rarity. She was a fashionista of Mixville. Her name was Redgem. "Ain't 'Pinks tell y'all? She said that Twin wanted 'ta try da new spell." The white earth pony said, her cutie mark was three oranges. Her mand and tail were purple and the same manestyle as Applejack. She had never gone out without her hat and she was a farmer who worked at Sweet Oranges Acres. Her name was Orange Spice. "Of course Pinkis told me, dear. But what kind of spell?" Said Redgem. "Maybe, um, we could wait for her to ... um, answer, if that's okay with you ..." Said the cyan Pegasus. She had a rainbow mane and tail, the same manestyle as Fluttershy. She was an animal caretaker in Mixville. She had a cottage near the Everfree Forest. Her cutie mark was three rainbow butterflies. Her name was Rainbow Cloud. "Good idea Rainbow, dear." Redgem said to Rainbow Cloud. "Well, I just found a spell that can improve our powers. But before doing that, I need all of you trust me and keep absolutely quiet." Explained Twinkle. As she saw they all nod, she continued. "Okay, so let's get started." Twinkle's horn glowed, she and her friends' magical energy floated out of their bodies. Twinkle sweated as the magic ball floated in the middle of them. "Almost there ... almost there ... just a little bit more ... " Twinkle sweated as she said. Firesky landed in front of the library, she raised her hoof to knock the door, but she remembered Twinkle's words. She shrugged, opened the door and said. "Hey guys!!" "Ahhh!!" They all exclaimed in unison. The magic ball was broken and exploded, causing the five of them to fly into the bookshelves. Firesky ran in and asked worriedly. "Are you all okay?" "Okay?! How can we be okay?!! Look what you did!!!" Twinkle yelled at Firesky's face. Firesky stepped back and asked. "What did I do? I just opened the door." "Because of you, we can't use our magic for TWO weeks!!!" Yelled Twinkle. "Two weeks?! How can I complete my orders! I have to deliver them on Sunday and today is Friday!!!" Redgem pressed her hoof into Firesky's chest as she spoke. "And how can I throw parties?!! And tomorrow is Trucker's birthday!!!" Exclaimed Pinkis. "And how am Ah supposed 'ta buckin' oranges?!!" Orange Spice said as Firesky stepped back. "It's cider season!!" "If I can't talk to the animals, how can they know when to avoid the Everfree Forest!!" Rainbowfly joined. "I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to-" Firesky was cut off by Twinkle. "Get out of here!!! We don't want you to show your face around us!! And give back my books!!!" Twinkle said as she took the books from Firesky. "Yeah!! Get outta here, Firetrash!!" Firesky was shocked, she tried to hold her tears from falling. That was her nickname called at the Junior Speedsters Flight Camp. At that time, Rainbowfly helped her overcome that name, but not now. Now her friend also called her by that name, it was worse than those bullies. "But ... I am your friend ... right?" Firesky asked, scared that her friends would abandon her. "No!! Not anymore!! Get outta here, Firetrash!!" "Yeah, 'trash!!" "We don't want to see your face again!!!" Firesky let her tears fall, she turned and flew away, leaving a fire trait behind. As she flew away, she could hear the door slamming. She immediately flew back home. When she got home, she jumped into her bed, hugged the pillow and cried loudly. She lied there, crying and asking herself. 'How could they do this to me?!' 'Do they need to do that? Abandon me?' 'I'm their friend after all!' 'Friends? Who needs friends?!" 'I don't need them!! I still can live without them!!' 'I will start a new life without them!! They only got in my way!!' Firesky stood up and wiped her tears. She walked over to put eight thousand bits into her saddle bag. She walked to the door and saw the picture of the six of them. She picked it up and slammed it to the cloud. She walked out of the door, closed it and put the goggles on her eyes. She started to launch herself to the west. She flied as fast as she could and had created a Sonic Flameboom. Unlike the Sonic Rainboom, the Sonic Flameboom ignited fire. The flames covered her but it didn't burn her and her things. She continued to fly and created another one. She was like a fireball flying through the sky. Her flames were more wilder as she created another one. The flames covering her were shaped like an orange phoenix with red eyes. She created one more, but after creating it, she disappeared. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Twilight was sitting and reading a book on the balcony of the Golden Oak Tree. Suddenly, she heard an explosion and saw a fireball from nowhere rushing towards her. She screamed and created herself a shield. A living pony sized ball of fire landed in front of her, the flames then snuffed out to reveal Firesky. Twilight removed the shield and looked at Firesky, who asked in confused. "Twinkle Sparkler?". "I'm not her but who are-" "No!" Twilight was cut off by Firesky, who flew off, leaving a trail of fire behind. Twilight looked at the flying Pegasus in confused and said. "That was weird." Rainbow Dash was lying on the cloud, ennoying her break time. She opened her eyes and took a deep breath then said. "There's nothing better than lying on a cloud and enjoying a break." She took another deep breath again and continued. "One word: awesome." Rainbow saw Firesky flew above her with the speed that could comparable to her . Rainbow Dash smiled and said. "And that Pegasus is awesome just like me." She realized what she had seen. She stood up and said. "Woah!! Who's that Pegasus!! I've never seen her before!" Rainbow paused to think. "Maybe I should ask her for a race!" Rainbow flew to find that Pegasus. After a while, she found Firesky was sitting on a cloud. She flew and sat next to her. "Hi, I'm Rainbow Dash. What's yours?" Firesky exclaimed in surprise and immediately flew off. Rainbow quickly flew after her. "Hey, wait up!!" 'So fast! Why can't I catch up?! I'm the fastest flyer in all of Equestria!!' Rainbow thought to herself while trying to catch up with Firesky. 'I can't believe that she's as fast as me or maybe she's even faster!!' The distance between Firesky and Rainbow Dash was growing. Firesky began to flew faster and entered the sound barrier. She didn't notice it was sparking with dark red energy at the tip. "Beacause of you, we can't use our magic for TWO weeks!!!" "Get outta here, Firetrash!!" "We don't want to see your face again!!!" Firesky heard the voices of her friends inside her head. "Firetrash! Firetrash! Firetrash was abandoned in the orphanage! Why? 'Cause they hate you!" "Maybe we should start calling you Firetrash or Abandoned Trash!!" "No wonder why your parents left you in the orphanage!" "What? Are you gonna cry now? If you are, nopony gonna care!" "Your parents they HATE you!" "SHUT UP!!" Firesky shouted as she broke the sound barrier, creating a Sonic Flameboom. This made Rainbow surprised, the force of the explosion caused her to lose her balance flipped a few rounds in the air. "Woah! Is that a ... Sonic Rainboom?" Rainbow asked herself and looked around to find Firesky's trail. Her eyes widened as she saw what was going on. The Pegasus she was chasing now was nowhere. It didn't matter because the whole Ponyville was enveloped in a tornado appearing out of nowhere. Strangely, it did not destroy Ponyville. Rainbow did not care about that strange thing. What she cared about was the damage it was causing to Ponyville. From the roads to the houses were all burning. Everypony was screaming in fear. Some were splashing water to put out the flames including her subordinates. She also realized that the air was suddenly heating up. Rainbow quickly flew to her comrades. One of them saw her and said. "Captain, I'm glad you're here! We hav-" She was interupted by the screams from above. They looked up to see their comrades were falling and their wings were burning. Without hesitation, Rainbow flew up to catch them, the others also followed. They quickly caught them and laid them to the ground gently. They cried out in pain as they tried to stand up but fell down. Rainbow now took a closer look, their four hooves were burned badly. Some of them had burns on their flanks, chest and neck. Their manes were also burnt black. "You, go and get some ambulances! They were badly burned so hurry up!" Rainbow said to her subordinate standing beside her, who immediately flew to the hospital. "Now tell me, what had happened when I wasn't here?!" Rainbow asked angrily. She was angry because they were acting on their own accord without her permission. "We're sorry, Captain. Some Pegasi voluntarily to stop the tornado while we're stopping the flames." Rainbow cursed under her breath and said. "Okay, you all stay here to stop the flames, I'll fly up to stop the tornado." "Captain, you can't!" One of the injured tried to get up. "This is not a normal tornado! The higher you go, the hotter it will be. Also, there's something waiting to attack anypony who flies up." "He's right, Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow turned and saw her five friends. Twilight continued. "This isn't just a normal tornado! You shouldn't fly up there alone!" "Come on guys, I'm the fastest flyer in all of Equestria! This tornado is just a small deal to me!" Rainbow said to them proudly. "Maybe, but you should stay here and wait for help from Canterlot! I've already sent a letter to Princess Celestia." "She's right, Sugarcube! Ya should be here and wait!" Applejack said. "Don't worry, girls. I'll be back in no time!" Rainbow Dash flew up with her fastest speed. She reached the sound barrier and broke it. Although she was in Sonic Rainboom state but she still had trouble trying to fly out of the tornado. She was blown by the strong winds, causing her to lose balance but she tried to keep herself in the air. The higher she got, the hotter she felt. The winds blowing at her like being touched by flames. Suddenly, something rushed towards her. Rainbow quickly avoided it but her left hoof was slightly burned. She cried out in pain as she used her right hoof to extinguish the flame that burning her left hoof. She turned to see what had attacked her. Her eyes windened when she saw it, the Pegasus that she tried to chase after was in front of her. Its mane, tail and half of its back wings were covering flames. But it seemed like those flames were not affected it. "You! You're the one who attacked my comrades and created this tornado, right?! I'll make you pay for what you did!!" Rainbow asked angrily. Without letting Firesky had a chance to oppen her mouth, Rainbow immediately dashed towards her. Firesky avoided it by flying up and kicking Rainbow's left wing with her hind hooves. Rainbow exclaimed in pain as she was falling. She tried to keep her balance in the air but failed, her left wing was screaming in pain. Firesky rushed down to Rainbow, using two hooves to hold her shoulders. Rainbow tried to shruggle but the flames appeared on her back made her give up. The fire winds around her made the burns even worse. Rainbow's vision faded away. She felt that Firesky had released her so she could fall freely. She also sensed that she was falling through a cloud of water that extinguished the flames burning her back. 'Guess this is how it ends for me, huh? ... No! I haven't become a Wonderbolt yet! Not yet! I can't just end up like this! ... But what can I do now? ... My wing and back are hurt ... My friends ... I'm ... sorry ...' Rainbow's vision had completely turned black. Everypony was horrified when they saw Rainbow landing into the town square. Her friends rushed to the unconscious Pegasus and quickly checked if she was still alive. "Hurry, put'er on mah back!" Applejack said impatiently. Twilight used her magic to put Rainbow on Applejack's back, who immediately rushed to the hospital. Her friends followed after without knowing Firesky was watching them from the sky. "They can save her but they cannot save their home!" Firesky said to herself and laughed madly. "This whole town will be burnt to ashes."
