Arriving at a crystallized cave and sighing in relief, the young man walked in and opening a nicely built in wooden door. "Mother, I'm home." He walked into the kitchen and gently placed the bag on the table. "I'll get dinner started soon."

He got out the jar sample and walked towards the bedroom door before walking in. There was a queen sized bed with silk sheets around it, shielding whoever was on the bed. He grabbed a chair and sat next to the bed, smiling. "How are you feeling? I got the job done today, you were right about the women of equestria being quite erotic."

The lady let out a giggle before sitting up. "Yes they can be quite like that, but you get used to it. It took me two women to get use to it." She turned her head. "Did you get the sample?"

Holding up the glass jar and giving it to her through the cloth, he watched as she got out a small box and put it in it. "May I ask why you collect the blood of that family? There are a lot of royal families that experience the same thing, but you specifically collect from the Canterlot one."

Closing the box and putting it back under her bed. "Just in case, I have a feeling the bloodline there is special." She crossed her arms. "Also, you don't have to wear the mask here. The spell only allows mages and other magical beings to be here, you're safe with me, Spike."

He slowly took the mask off and pulled the hoodie back, ruffling his fluffy green hair. "It was my first time near a lot of people today, the mask helped me a lot." He looked down slightly. "The Queen did ask questions, but I gave her the answers you instructed me to gi-" He jumped slightly upon her placing her hand on his cheek, caressing him.

"I can tell you did great today, I really appreciate you doing this for me." She pulled him close and hugged him tightly. "Just be sure not to let them know what you are, mortals can be cruel."

Spike slowly smiled and let out a soft chuckle before hugging her back. "I'll do my best, Mother." He let go of her and stood up. "I'll get started with dinner." He walked out of the room and gently closed the door.

The witch sat back and sighed. "Lord knows what they'll do to a human dragon. They can be top closed minded." She groaned in pain and slowly removed the curtain, walking up to the mirror and lifting up her shirt. Exposing a large scar on her left side. "Then again, most dragons can be quite closed minded as well." She sighed deeply and ran her fingers through her hair.

"Okay, Velvet. No time to laze about now, I gotta start working." She glanced under her bed. "I gotta fix this mess of a world."
