Pit span out of control as he tumbled from the destroyed ruins of Skyworld, and into a forest in an unknown land. He bounced off some branches and fell to the forest floor, and after struggling to get up, he eyes readjust as a butter yellow Pegasus mare with a pink mane, big big like limbs sprouting from her sides, and a bug like eye next to an eye that looked like a red slash in a black pit of darkness walked up to him. He tried to get up again as more equines entered the area around Pit.

One looked like a reanimated corpse, one had snakes for hair and a blindfold over her eyes, one looked like a disheveled mad scientist, one looked like a orange Pegasus with blood on her snout and rockets on her wings, and the final one was red all over, with an upside down cross on her flanks, and a mouth that looked like it melted. The red one then held a club over her head and brought it down before Pit could even try to defend himself, and knocked him out.

”I fight for all creatures living and breathing. I fight for all souls hanging in limbo, and most of all, I fight to crush you lord of the underworld!”

“Now Pit!!! FIRE!!!” Viridi yelled as Pit pulled the trigger and grunted. A beam of light erupted from what remained of the great sacred treasure, as Hades was caught in the blast and wiped from existence.

“I can’t believe it. You actually defeated me Pit… The nerve of you.” Hades said as he faded away. A few seconds after Hades faded, the beam stopped and the memory suddenly shifted. Now Pit, Palutena, Dark Pit, and Viridi stood inside Mission Control while Viridi read a letter that had the Super Smash Brothers symbol on the seal of the envelope.

”Congratulations Pit, Palutena, and Dark Pit, you three have been invited to join Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate.” Viridi read the letter while Pit, Dark Pit, And Palutena listened with excitement. “You three will also be in the campaign, where The three of you will be playable characters, the rest will be spirits or assist trophies. Get ready to Smash. Sincerely, Masahiro Sakurai.” Viridi closed the scroll and smiled at the three. “Well you’re lucky aren’t you Pit? Picked for the Smash Brothers series for the regular mode and campaign mode twice in a row? I gotta say I’m kinda jealous. But you’re the star of the show I guess. I guess lots of people will pick up the new Smash just to play as you.”

“I’m so PSYCHED!!!” Pit said as he pumped his fist in the air. The memory changed to when Skyworld was destroyed. This time he was flying on his own, and was shooting for target practice when he spotted a giant meteor heading for the temple. “LADY PALUTENA!!!”

“I know Pit, We’re going to have to destroy that meteor before it hits the temple, I’m activating the power of flight now so you can get there quicker.” Pit’s wings shines as he pulled out his bow and flew towards the meteor. He was about to let a devastating shot loose, one that would destroy the meteor, when it sped up three times faster and hit the temple with a devastating blow. “P-PIT!!! I-I’M BRE-BREAKING U-UP!!!” Pit looked around as he saw Skyworld falling apart, and looked at the temple, absolutely obliterated as if a reset bomb hit it, but instead of resetting everything, it destroyed everything. Pit’s wings suddenly stopped shining and he started to fall, tumbling through the air, desperately trying to readjust his flight course, to no avail.

Pit awoke to the sound of gunfire as the bug mare tried to hide Pit leaving only his eyes to see the surrounding area. The bug mare, who’s name was spiderlock, which he learned from listening to the others, then ran to the other equines as they got around in a circle formation. He also learned the names of the other equines, Rottenfruit, Stone, Dimmed Star, Dull Sloth, and Zalgy Cake.

Suddenly Stone was blasted backwards by a large explosion as they turned to what seemed to be a large human, almost the same size as Magnus, but a little larger, clad in green space marine armor that Pit immediately recognized as the Praetor Suit, the one suit made by Dyntos at the request of a demon from the underworld to fit a human. That human would then become the Doomslayer, the only human that could possibly fight a god and survive, and now that very same human was stepping out of the smoke and into the eyesight of the five mares that kidnapped Pit.

“Where’s Pit?” The Doomslayer spoke in a gruff voice, also sounding like Magnus but with a slight technological distortion. He could see their confusion as he loaded his shotgun again and aimed at Stone. “The Angel!”

Realization dawned upon Dimmed Star as she growled slightly. “GIRLS!!! GET HIM!!! HE CAN’T HAVE THE ANGEL!!!” The five other mares suddenly grew aggressive and lunged at the Doomslayer, who put them out of order for the time being with shocking speed and accuracy. He then knocked out Dimmed Star as he walked towards where Pit was hidden and set him free.

“You ok angel-face?” The visor went clear as Magnus’ face was shown inside the helmet. “I was out killing the remaining underworld troops out here when Vega told me that your home was just destroyed and you were kidnapped by the queen’s six most loyal commanders. Well commanders isn’t the right word, more like living weapons.” Pit was so shocked he couldn’t speak, so Magnus picked Pit up and walked into the forest, explaining everything to Pit, including why Skyworld was destroyed, who the queen was, and where they were. “Welcome Pit, to the land of Equinox, the land Queen Blackhole rules and where nightmares roam free.”
