I had just been a normal person, until one fateful day. I had went to a huge gaming convention, where thousands of others were going cosplaying as their favorite characters, but I just went dressed normally. I was secretly hoping that the Merchant was an actual person and could send me to Equestria with some cool abilities. I just hoped he would be willing to hear me out an not send me to a alternate universe where Equestria was dramatically different, especially since I wanted to tell them all about the show based off of their lives, as well as confirm certain detail that were never touched upon in cannon.
