Applejack swiped the sweat from her brow, wiggling a little in the cool grass of the orchards as she laid on her back. Snickering, she started to nod before catching herself.

It didn't take them long to reach what turned out to be a nicely sized pond in the middle of a dense strand of trees. After a quarter of a minute, he spun around as he heard hoofbeats behind him. She wasn't there, though.
"Apple-?" he started to ask, when a shadow flew over him. Looking over his shoulder, he had enough time to think, oh horseapples, before AJ hit the direct center of the pond.
Spike sighed as there was a swell in the water he was floating in, not bothering to struggle as he was sucked into the vortex before the churning forces of AJ's fantastic cannon-ball flung him back into the air.
