Spike stretched out his wings and arms as he walked down the hall, letting out a grunt of pleasure. Smolder let out a huff, rolling her eyes. She matched his pace, stepping backwards as she did.
Spike stopped.

He took a second to savor the look of confusion on Smolder's face, then acted. His hands reached down to grab the edge of the blanket that was partly wrapped around her feet, and jerked hard. "Yeah," he admitted. "Although, I did drop the blanket on the floor in the hopes it would work."
