The Everfree Forest.

A staple in Equestria. A strange place, unlike everywhere else in Equestria.

To some, it's a place of mystery. To others, it is a cliché plot opening. But to many, it is a home of stories, people write about this forest with such an intent that they always forget the bigger picture.

Why does it exist? How does it work?

You could say it's because the writers want a place close to home, something familiar to us but strange to the ponies.

While that may be true to us, but how does it fare in their world? How does something like this get created from a place where ponies control the very weather and earth?

Why is the forest special? What if, it wasn't the only one?

That, my friend, is what we're about to find out.
