The next day when I went to school, Rarity was waiting for me -- waiting for my explanation to her why I went out with Flaming Star wich was not easy. But I needed to do it since I was preety sure she would tell others soon and if she did I needed to make a big, I mean Big explanation to all of them. I wonder how much did she understand anyway?

So I told her that HE wanted to apologise ME for wasting my time toturing him in math, since HE presented that he didn't know anything math but in fact HE knows math evenue better than I do!

But after remembering all the pain and headache it didn't seem like I was confessing to her, not enough. But I figured that I should satisfy her for some time. We needed to head towards the Music Room, not for practicing but for learning. Steely Armor was there by the time we got there; Flaming Star arrived after a couple of minutes. When we were all settled in, Steely Armor started to speak.

"So, we've researched quite a lot, and it seems we have reached an understanding of how magic works. For starters, Let's say that there have to be many other portals and artefacts that came from different dimensions and realities from many years ago, and it should caused some potential of magic to this world. And the crown that sunset shimmer brought here also brought the power of magic of friendship and it probably gothe more powerful over times."

"Wait, so you're saying that magic was here all along?" Raibow Dash asked and actually that washe sort of my question, too.

"No, I'm not saying that, I'm only assuming that's how it is. We can be completely wrong but right now it makes sense. Anyway, about the necklaces, this is the part where we needed to put our experience with them together to come up with an idea, and......give me a second." He walked over to the the black board and tried to explain and draw at the same time.

"So necklaces, as far as we figured out, belong to their owner; in other words it knows where it belongs. But for giving the effect or the special power to the person with whom they are connected they need to be in certain distances and it should probably get stronger or weaker depending on how close or far they are from the source...."

"What the hey are you doin'?" Applejack asked Pinkie Pie, who was scribbling furiosly in a notebook.

"Taking notes, what else, see?"

"Uh, that looks like a drawing of a snowman gettin' hit in the face with a pie."

"It's my own method of shorthand. And that's not a pie, that a cupcake. Me, rookie mistake."

"Anyway," Steely Armor said, cutting off Pinkie Pie before she could say anything else, " since it contains power and energy, using it directly or being used in the hand of the one who it doesn't belong to can give different power effects, so we can assume that the effort for the special ability that we get out of our necklaces is about ourselves and not the necklaces."

He drow a dot at the center of the board and added circles around it in different sizes.

"The necklaces ore made out of crystals, wich explains why they can not be broken easily, and on top of that they have a magical barrier protecting them from any harm. Basicly it's impossible to break or destroy them physically."

"WAIT!" Pinkie shouted , "so can I break nuts with these?"

"Steely Armor just stayed silence and Twilight her head and looked at her. Then she started explaining:

"We think we got our powers together beacause we are connected, and that might be the reason why if one of us uses their powers a lot the others will encounter magical side effects, but it doesn't seem to happen for Steely Armour and Flaming Star!"

"At least they can have fun with it all they want!" Raibow Dash grumped.

"But, it might be beacause they haven't used it a lotry and they haven't ponied up yet. Overall it seems to acthe quite different than us."

"Um, excuse me?" Fluttershy raised her hand , so what about Spike?"

"Who is Spike?" Flaming Star asked."

"Down here!" Came a voice from beneath the grand piano. "I'm Spike!" He said as he scratched his ear with a hind paw.

Flaming Star was clearly shoked. "What the.....a Talking Dog?! Steely? Any explanation?"

"I'm afraid, NO!"

"He's kinda gotten that a lot lately," Twilight said as she picked him up. "Ever since after the Friendship Games against Crystal Perp."

"Guess they just cant handle the awesome."

"I heare ya!" Answered Raibow Dash.

But anyway that was quite interesting!
