The next day I talked to the girls about our little conversation with Steely Armor and the decision I made to go out with Flaming Star. I didn't call it "going out" or "dating", but I don't know what else to call it. Anyway I know what I had to do; Raibow Dash and Pinkie Pie were supposed to follow Steely Armor "undetected" - good luck with that! Applejack and Fluttershy were supposed to follow me and Flaming star for our back-up plan: create a distraction for me to touch him." Since I know he wouldn't fall for the same trick three times in a row. As for Twilight and Rarity, Twilight was in every class with Steely Armor so she would just be right next to him the whole time. And Rarity decided to make sure I looked "Fabulous" for my "date" for some unknown reason. Of course for her everything is an occasion to look fabulous . It was settled ,so we were at our post when the bell rang.

Finding Flaming Star wasn’t so hard, since he was in music room most of the time and we were in the same classes quite often. But I talked to him after History class. I don't think anyone likes the way Ms. Dusty Fusils exaggerates about the events and the boring invention that happened. Back in Equesteria, we'd just needed to cast a spell and we would have saved a significant amount of time for ourselves. But as I was saying, I did ask him about the "prize" he was supposed to give me for landing a hit on him in Slaughter Alley. "I think you owe me something."

"What, exactly?"

"I don't know; a meal or something . I just know I hit you."

"Oh,easy there now. Let's save the meal for the time you actually defeat me. Right now, your little 'achievement' only rates something from the Café.

"After school, then. Deal?"

"Later. I gotta head home first."

"As long as I get my reward, I’m fine with it."

Then you'd better enjoy it, since you are supposed to go down, not up." He gave me the a devilish smile and then left. He us so on my nerve!

Rarity showed up with my new jacket after school; she had sewn the sun symbol on the back and it was beautiful! "So do you like it?"

"I....I love it!"

"Good. Oh, I also brought this for you." She gave me a pair of blue jeans; she'd distressed the knees. "I think they really go well toghether."

"I'm sure they do, but why should I wear all of this right when I want to see Flaming Star?"

"Come on, darling you should look good!" I couldn't argue with that . I just went to the locker room and changed my clothes for the "date".
After that I went to the same café that I went last time with him. He was waiting outside. He looked amazed by my new look.

"A new look, for me? You shouldn't have gone through the trouble."

"Let's just go inside." I looked around before going in and I spotted Fluttershy and Applejack behind a tree.

He ordered an orange juice, just like last time and I orderd an ice cream. Just like last time. Maybe this was a date because we were two people who knew each other so well we'd become as predictable as.....No, I cut that thought right off!

I fell back on the same old strategy, engaging in small talk about everyday stuff until I felt I could bring up the question: "Can you tell how Steely Armor can be in two places at once? "

"So you've noticed. I'm sorry , I'm afraid I can't tell you!"

"Why not?"

"Steely doesn't want you to know, let's leave it at that. Also, you're quite notorious in his book."

"What do you mean?" I wondered if he was referring to the ECHO Launcher.

"You know what I mean: you played with his toys, and that's just something he doesn’t like at all. But trust me you better off not knowing, at least for now. He will show it to you himself when he trusted you all enough." He drank his orange juice and stood. "Oh, and tell your friends to go home cuz I don't think they hit me in a fight."

"Wait, how do you...."

I think I better take him at his word and wait until Steely Armor shows all of it to us himself. But now I'm just dying to know!
