On the western fringes of the NCR, a battalion of troopers stand ready to patrol the barren wasteland beyond. They are underequipped, undermanned, and rife with corruption. Grimfeather's banner may fly above their encampments, but this land has recovered little from its past of raiders, kleptocrats, and merciless strongmares.

Yet, no relief seems in sight, as a migration of destitute rancher appears on the horizon. Denied access by the region's corrupt governor, an uneasy stand-off has settled into place. But as the days pass, their situation only grows increasingly dire.

How long will it be before things devolve into violence?
