Now I was wondering what to do with my life, I’ve been doing that job for five years now. I sighed as I began to open the box, a parting gift from my old boss, he said that one of his kids told him that I would enjoy this. As I opened the box I was surprised, It was the watch from Ben 10 Omniverse, I did remember that I told Zane, the oldest of the two that I had an interest in Ben 10, but that was when it was the Ultimate Alien season, I only watched Omniverse and the reboot with them. And while I did find some parts of these show interesting but it wasn’t anything to keep my interest. I decided to take the watch out of the box and try it on and it fit surprisingly well. But as I was about to take it off It began to start beeping, and in a blue flash, everything went dark. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Nightmare //-------------------------------------------------------// The Nightmare It was a rough few months since I was taken to this world, and I was still shaken up by it. I was broke and homeless in a new world, luckily there was a homeless shelter that offered food and a place to sleep, so I was at least fed once a day and I didn’t have to sleep out in the streets. The Omnitrix was still on my wrist, and I was honestly afraid to use it, the locals were weary of me as it was, if they knew how much power this thing had, I would either be hunted or be shunned, and considering I only had the clothes on my back it was best I kept to myself unless something major happens I’m going to lay low. As I ate what passed for soup someone sat beside me and spoke “Hey Gwen” the voice of Old Smokey said as I turned to look at them. “Hey Smokey.” I greeted. “Still thinking of home?” He asked. “Yeah.” I said somberly. “Well don’t worry things could have been worse, you could have awoken In Ponyville, they’re extremely prejudiced there.” He says with a chuckle “I remember one time when I was part of the guard we got called in to deal with some monster only for it to be a minotaur trying to find work, the whole town is just terrible I hear they won’t even sell anything to Zebra’s.” He scoffed. “Yeah, I guess it could be worse.” I said. “Now come on. Don’t fill up on the soup, don’t you remember what day it is today?” Smokey asked before I could think he answered “It's the Summer Sun Celebration.” Oh right, I forgot, it’s basically the pony equivalent of Chinese new year “And I guess you’ve got us guest passes to meet the Princess.” I joked. Smokey laughed “I wish, no we have to ‘commoners’ party where we can see the Princess raise the sun, they’ll be food. Heck there might be meat there for you.” Smokey explained. “Please, you said it the commoner's party I doubt they'll be meat.” I said...it had been so long since I had anything meat-based. “But sure I’ll go.” I said getting up from the bench. Half an hour passed as we made our way up to the Castle gardens commons and got into the party. It was crowded to say the least, beings from across the kingdom and some from beyond came to see the Princess raise the sun. Something Ii had to just accept, though I personally just believed it was a scam to keep her in power. I got some looks from some of the more snooty Ponies and even some threats to leave or they’d call the guards, though I’d assume it's because I look like a homeless person and not my race, considering the same ponies that tried to get me kicked out were talking to griffons and minotaurs. “Oh Gwen don’t mind them, they can’t really have us kicked out of a public event if we don’t cause any problems.” Smokey said. As the night went on I got more and more lonely, as I thought of home. I wandered the gardens and the statue maze for a while, it wasn’t really closed and they had no guards at the entrance to deter anyone away. As I wandered the maze I saw statues of ponies In different poses, but one was different. “What is this?” I asked as I walked around the statue it had a bunch of random animal parts mixed together. “Chaos.” I said out loud reading the sign on the statue base. “Yeah...I’d call this chaotic, the sculptor must have drawn species names out of a hat or something.” I joked. “Hey!” A voice shouted as I jumped. “You're not supposed to be here!” the voice said as I was grabbed by the arm by the source of the voice, which turned out to be a guard. I got out of the guard's grip and started to explain “I’m sorry I didn't see any guards or anything telling me I wasn’t allowed to be here.” “There are guards at every entrance of the garden that's near the party...” the guard narrowed his eyes. “You’re coming with me Princess Celestia will decide what to do with you.” He said grabbing my arm and dragging me. “Hey stop that, what did I do?” I argued struggling. “You’re of unknown race, in unknown garb, in an area your not supposed to be in. It's clear you’re either a thief or a spy.” The guard explained. “What!” I shouted. “Silence.” The guard said pulling out a blade.. “Okay.” I muttered in fear. I was brought to a few other guards and the bias guard explained that I was a spy or something and I was cuffed and brought into the palace. “You two keep an eye on this one I’ll Inform the Princess.” the bias guard said. But a few moments later the guard was thrown through the door. And a laugh could be heard before a voice spoke. “Is this really the best your guard has to muster sister? You’ve gotten soft.” The two guards looked at each other before running in and promptly being thrown out and knocked out. I took the opportunity to grab the key off the first guard and unlock my handcuffs. I slowly contemplated my next option I either could run or I could see what that was. I took a deep breath before slowly deciding to peek into the room with the voice. As I peeked in I saw two amazonian ponies, a white one on the floor, which I figured was Celestia, and a black one in armor. “Please, Luna don’t do this.” Celestia begged. “Oh, dear sister, your in no position to make any sort of demands, the only reason I haven't sent you to the moon yet is I want to see the hopes drain from the eyes of our subjects as they realize they’ll never see the sun again.” Luna said. I was confused, did The princess really control the sun and moon...come to think about it the moon... lost its silhouette... “Whoever’s hiding you may come out and if you're smart, pledge your loyalty to me.” Luna said as I walked into the room scared. “My my my, what are you, sister you never told me you had an ape.” she said. “Hey!” I said insulted. “Oh, and it can speak.” Luna said. “Now be a good pet and bow to your master.” “I don’t know what's going on but I do know one thing, I won’t bow to tyrants.” I said as I activated the Omnitrix and hoped it both worked... as well as not to transform into Alien X. In a blue flash, I started changing. When the light dimed I took a look at my hands which were now on fire, I wasn’t Heatblast as I had what looked like western clothing on me. As I was looking at my body Luna lunged at me with a rapier which I barely dodged “Partner, you’ve dun goofed.” I said in a southern accent before decking her across the face and leaving a burn mark. “YOU DARE!” Luna screamed as she grabbed her face in pain. “Honey, you got a solar storm comin’.” I quipped as fire launched from my hand and engulfed Luna. I quickly looked around as I had a feeling that she wouldn’t be fazed by that attack for long. Looking around I saw that the guard that brought me here and his drawn sword. I had a plan...well it was more an idea but it should work. I quickly grabbed the sword and saw that Luna had put out the fire and was distracted. “YOU INSOLENT WEL-” she screamed before a sword to the gut shut her up. As the blade slid out of her she took a few steps back and fell to her knees. Celestia quickly got up and went to Luna’s side. “Sister.” She said somberly. Luna coughed up some blood before growling “Oh don’t pretend that you care, you never cared about anything but yourself.” Celestia closed her eyes and looked at me before saying “I’m sorry.” before thrusting a dagger into Luna’s throat before she started sobbing. I moved my hand a bit looking for the Omnitrix symbol before changing back to Human and placing my hand on the Princesses shoulder. “I’m sorry...” Celestia took my hand off her shoulder and said “Don’t be...I should have known this was a possibility... I just wasn’t prepared for it.” Around this time the three guards that brought me here were starting to get up. “Get away from the princess, spy.” the guard that brought me here said. “Spy?” The princess asked “I tried to explain to him that I didn’t know the area I was in was off-limits... he took my race and the fact I’m homeless as an indication that I was a spy... I honestly just wanted a meal and to see the sunrise.” I explained. “Lies!” the guard said as The princess held her hand up causing him to pause. “This young person, just saved all of Equestria from eternal night so whatever crime you’ve committed is forgiven...within reason” The Princess said before motioning for both me and her guards to walk with her, “You said your homeless right?” I walked beside her, “Yes, I came here via some kind of magic and I can’t get back home. So I’ve been staying in a homeless shelter for the past few months.” I explained. “Guards take her to a guest room make and make sure she’s properly taken care of. Have a seamstress make her new clothing and bring her some hot food.” the Princess said. “Could I get some cooked meat...my kind are omnivore’s and I haven’t had anything for the past few months.” I explained. “Make sure to get her some meat in the food.” The princess ordered. “Yes, Princess.” The guards said as I was escorted to a tower. //-------------------------------------------------------// Job acquired //-------------------------------------------------------// Job acquired A few hours passed as I was clothed, fed and cleaned. It was nice to not wear the same outfit for the first time in months. I was honestly impressed they were able to get a quality outfit made so fast. “Madam?” A guard said knocking on the door to the room. I opened the door and saw that it was the same guard that tried to arrest me for being in the wrong place earlier. “The princess wishes to see you and has sent me to escort you to her.” “Lead the way.” I said following him and as we made our way to the throne room I could catch the glances of the nobles glaring at me, probably assuming I was either a new staff or, by the fact I was being escorted by a guard, some near-do-well that was about to be punished. I simply ignored the glares, I was used to them. We got to the hallway before the throne room and the guard stopped. “Wait here.” the guard said before opening the door and entering. “Right.” I said leaning on a nearby wall. A few minutes passed as I waited. “You there!” a voice said as I turned to see another guard walking towards me. “I’m gonna assume you're lost, the new maids are supposed to meet in the main hall. Now don’t keep the head maid waiting.” he said as I was confused. “I’m not here for a maid position, I’m just waiting for something.” I explained. “Hmph well wait somewhere else, the princess wouldn’t want some ‘trash’ hanging around scaring the nobles.” The guard said rudely. “Whatever.” I said rolling my eyes. Before the guard could do anything about my sass the first guard that brought me here came out of the door and spoke “The princess will see you now.” leaving the rude guard stunned. “Thanks.” I said walking in leaving a stunned guard and confused guard wondering what had happened while he was talking to the Princess. Inside the throne room, I walked up to the throne. “Princess.” I said bowing my head. “Ah welcome.” The princess said before pausing. “My name is Gwen Satonaka, your highness.” I said in the politest way I could. “Yes, Ms. Satonaka. And you can drop the formalities. Do you know what today was supposed to be? And what you helped prevent?” She asked. “No? I’m not familiar with some of the things here.” I explained. “Today is...was the thousandth year since I banished my sister to the moon. I’ll assume you don’t know the tale of the Mare in the moon.” She asked “You assume correct.” I answered. She sighed and I could tell this was some heavy stuff for her. “A thousand years ago I wasn't a nice pony. I ignored my sisters cries for help till they were too late. She turned into the demon Nightmare moon and we battled. She would have won back then if it wasn’t for the sacred artifacts known as the Elements of Harmony. Six powerful items that I used to banish her to the moon. And I had planned that somepony would have the ‘spark’ that would unite five others into reclaiming the elements and finally purify my sister when she returned.” Celestia paused. “But as the years got closer and no spark was found I was worried I would have to battle my sister again... but then you showed up and while you couldn’t save her, you saved countless others from her tyranny.” She explained. “I’m guessing this is more than a thank you for saving the kingdom?” I asked. She smiled a small smile, “Yes, this was just the first of many evils and without the elements, I need to find a new way to defeat them. Which is where you come in. You were able to harness the powers of a flame elemental and managed to weaken...” she paused as it was something hard for her to say. “...her for me to attempt to get through to her and-” “Look I feel like this is hard for you to say. Can we skip to the point please.” I said cutting her off. “Right, I want you to work for me dealing with threats the guards can’t.” She asked before explaining “You’ll be given food, shelter, and payment for these efforts.” I thought for a second “I want you to do something for me to sweeten the deal.” She narrowed her eyes and glared at me. “And what would that be?” “For the past few months, I’ve been living in a homeless shelter that can barely keep itself together. What I want is for you to make that place at least livable. Somewhere that those forced to live there can at least feel safe.” I explained as she looked like she calmed down a bit. “That's doable, now Ms. Satonaka I’ll give you some temporary quarters till we get the estate set up.” she said before she chuckled “Did you honestly think we’d let you stay at the castle, you need space for training and the like. The staff will be paid for by the crown, just don’t do anything that would make the nobles want to attack you please.” Celestia said. //-------------------------------------------------------// The start of something and the end of a friendship //-------------------------------------------------------// The start of something and the end of a friendship A few days passed as I was dragged from meeting to meeting, from real estate sellers trying to convince me which estate to get, to meeting some of the staff that will be working for me. Among the major staff I met, there was the Manhattan Accountant Jacklin Orange, “Pleasure to make your acquaintance madam.” she introduced herself. She was very elegant and refined. Another one was Twilight Sparkle, a top student of Celestia’s school and the head of my research department. Though she did have an attitude problem “Look, I’m going to tell you this once, I'm only here because it pays off my school debts.” She was very crabby for some reason. The final one of major note was Pinkamania Diane Pie. She was the head of the security team and was from what I could tell a no-nonsense type of pony. She just gave me a hard look and that was all she needed to get me impressed. Oh and just as a tip don’t call her Pinky...that results in a punch to the gut. I finally had some time to myself I decided to go and check on Smokey, I figured he’d be worried about me. So I made sure that Celestia didn’t have me meeting anyone before I strolled down to the slums getting looks from the ponies that lived there, I figured they were just not used to someone that looks like they have money coming down here alone. I entered the shelter and was greeted by confused looks “Gwen?” Sweet-tea asked. “Hey, Sweet.” I said nervously. She looked confused “What happened to you? Where did you get those clothes? Did you steal them? You know the rules I won’t serve criminals.” She said. “One I didn’t steal them they were given to me, two Long story short, I got a job and three where’s Smokey?” I said. “He’s out looking for you, though he should be back- there he is now.” Sweet-tea said pointing at Smokey. “Smokey!” I said waving as he turned around and looked confused. “Gwen?” he asked running over to me “By the Sun what happened to you? I lost sight of you at the Celebration and...and you’re wearing different clothing.” He asked confused. “It's a long story, but the cliff notes are I got a job working for the princess. I’ll tell you it over dinner.” I said. He took a look at me and said “I was worried sick about you and you were... I don’t know.” He then threw his hands in the air and said. “Just leave.” “Smokey?” I asked confused “Come on man.” I said trying to grab his shoulder but smacked my hand away and gave me a bad look. “Just leave.” he said coldly. I looked down and said “Fine...” before starting to walk away defeated before glancing at him “I’m sorry our friendship had to end like this.” and exited the shelter. The next day I decided to do a check I knew I had a fire alien on my watch but I had to know what other aliens I had. The first Alien I turned to was the Fire Alien from before, just to get a better look at her. I had some of the castle staff on standby just in case I burned something down. I admired myself as I didn’t realize I had Flaming hair in this form.. And a cowboy hat, I looked like a sharif from some old western town...only on fire. I think I remembered seeing one of the kids I babysat have something like this, a statuette of something called a NovaKid from a game called Starbound, If I remember correctly he said they were Sapient suns. “Helios.” I said “Ah am Helios.” I said butting my hands on my hips and chuckling. The next form I turned to was... “An Asari?” I muttered looking at the silhouette on the watch, this should be interesting. I looked at myself in this form and I stretched out for a bit. I honestly didn’t know what to say I was a blue lady...Maybe I should have done this outside where I could test out powers. “I think I’ll go with Athena for this one.” I said thinking of a name for this form. After the Asari, I was A Twi’lek from Star Wars. There was really nothing special about this form from what I could tell, it was like the Asari, I would have to test it out later. “I don’t know much about Star Wars so I have no clue what to name this one... maybe Ashaa” I’d have to think about it. After that, there was “a pearl from Steven Universe?” I was now confused, I saw Fourarms and Gray matter on the watch so I knew it wasn’t all just weird aliens from other franchises. I shrugged and hit the dial. My body felt weird, more so than when I usually transform, it was like my body was becoming light as...light. I looked at myself in the mirror I was blue for starters, but not like the blue pearl from the show. I was really out of ideas for this one... I mean what do you name a sapient rock? “I’ll think of something later.” I said as I tested out the final form I would do for the day which was a Zora. When I transformed I saw that I looked like Mipha from Breath of the wild, I was red and white, my head was also in the shape of a dolphin. “Arial...I guess that could work.” I muttered as I couldn’t think of what else to name her. Once I was done transforming I told the staff to leave and I sat on my bed. Today was the last day I would be staying in the castle before moving into the estate, and I had butterflies in my stomach. I was nervous about having to lead some sort of group, I was just a babysitter. As I sat my thoughts drifted to Smokey... he was the first one to talk to me when I got here, he lead me to the shelter. He told me everything I knew about this world. He was my only friend here and now he didn’t want to talk to me anymore. Do I have any family, Apart from the Oranges I’m related to the Apple clan, which has members all across Equestria...but any closely related ones, I have a brother and a grandmother...though she’s probably dead by now. And as you can guess like everypony else, I failed. It was later revealed to me that the test is impossible as the egg was infertile. It's basically an oversized chicken egg, the test was to see how the students deal with failure and I handled it better then they expected, I apologized for wasting their time and left, a few days later I learned I was accepted into the school. Why do you wish to know about my family, whatever my mother is the editor and publisher for the Daring Do books, while my father was a royal guard. I have a brother whom is infamous amongst the mothers of Canterlot, He runs a comic book shop, and unofficially sells porn to teenagers. Why do I want to join this group? To put it bluntly, this is an easy job where I just probably have to minor calculations and tell some guards information that goes over their heads, personally, it's an excuse to test some inventions I have while being paid for tinkering. Interview 3: Sargent Pie Alright so you want to know about me, My Name Is Pinkamena Diane Pie I was born on a rock farm and I hated there. I left when I turned 18 and joined the royal guard. My family, Well there is my Mother and Father, they were decent ponies for the most part but something that never sat well with me about them. I had three sisters, Maud who I think became a Party pony. Limestone was very aggressive and actually bullied me from time to time. And Marble who I think moved to Las Pegasus...I don’t actually know what she does. Why did I join this group? To put it bluntly, I’m aggressive but dedicated, If the Princess wants me to do something I do it. Throughout mlp season, 1 Gwen is doing various jobs such as dealing with diamond dogs and the appleloosa buffalo stuff. Discord breaks free but is stopped by alien X and is turned into three orbs of power that are used for a shield generator for the estate, a portal device for the EQG mirror, and a super cannon. and Gwen is trapped as Alien X for a few months What would be the royal wedding, is now a peace summat for multiple races of Equestria, Crysalis still invades. Gwen makes reunites with Smoky becoming friends again. Stuff happens like Sombra and Tirek but noting of note till an alicorn and a dragon appear in Ponyville and the reality is destroyed by Starlight. Alien X brings the estate along with all the staff to the main timeline. Main 6 meets there counterparts who worked for Gwen. there was more but I can't remember it.
