Zephyr Breeze X AppleJack (After Work, It's Lunch)
Author's Note
So, this is random but this is a Zephyr Breeze x Applejack story. I'm sure this doesn't exist but I hope you like it.
(Also, this is dedicated to the Equestria girls world, also warning, this contains romance, some whining and lastly a delicious lunch at the end, viewers are advised and too... bring some snacks and a drink) Also, song belongs to Hasbro
Zephyr Breeze X AppleJack (After Work, It's Lunch)
Narrator's POV:
"Ugh, Applejack come on!"
Zephyr whined as Applejack was taking out some cleaning utensils, a bucket, a mop, a duster, a vacuum and even some gardening tools for the backyard. Applejack was patient, even for her boyfriend Zephyr Breeze. There were times when she yelled at him for being lazy or not doing his work, even too Applejack was teaching him how to be more responsible and active since now he's dating her.
It was an Saturday afternoon, while the sun shined onto the city they lived in. People were relaxing or students were busy with work. With Applejack, she was done with her work for school and her family was out shopping. With this, she wanted Zephyr to help as she wanted to clean, because as I said before she was teaching him responsibility.
"Come on sugercube, yer do realise we need to work."
Zephyr rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms, giving her a pout.
"But I just want to relax. Like seriously, I have gym in first period, wood-chop in second, then..."
Applejack covered his mouth with her light orange hand as Zephyr looked at her, blushing a bit as she said...
"Don't make excuses cowboy, yer gonna work, and that's that."
She said sternly as she uncovered her hand from Zephyr's mouth and gave him a dust duster, which had a yellow handle and white feathers. She sighed as she put her hand on his shoulder, she looked at him straight into his eyes and said...
"For your first task, is to dust the living room, the lobby, the mirrors, the rooms and you get the rest. When your done, you could vacuum, especially the upper part of the house and lastly if you wanna get extra muscles, your gonna help me with garden."
Zephyr sighed, he hated working, especially in the garden. He just didn't like getting his fingers all dirty and even bugs.. ew! How he hated it. Applejack kissed his right cheek as her face flushed a bit. With Zephyr, he just flushed too as she said...
"Also, if your done all that, you deserve a lunch. Now, off to work!"
She said while she began to get her stuff ready, Zephyr sighed as he walked to the living room to see it a bit dusty, and the living room did look country like with a bit of a modern twist, this is what he saw: A t.v, a bookshelf filled with different books, a rocking chair which had a cushion on it, a brown sofa with a horse blanket and white pillows, a white coffee table and even some pictures.
"Well, time to suffer."
Zephyr mumbled as he began to dust the t.v, he wasn't doing it properly as he was doing it quickly. With Applejack, she was in the kitchen as she was washing some dishes, soaking them in soap and lastly washing it off with the warm water she used. Since the living room was beside the kitchen, Applejack looked to her left and smiled to see her boyfriend work, she shouted...
"Oh, and Zephyr, make sure to dust the pictures!"
Zephyr sighed as he continued to dust the t.v. Later on, Applejack was cleaning the shoes with a wipe she got from the kitchen. She was cleaning her boots, seeing them sparkle into the light in the lobby, made it look cleaner than a whistle. Zephyr came back as he sweating. From going there, and there, then the up stairs made him tired. Luckily Applejack was done as she sighed, she threw the wipe into a nearby garbage.
"Your tired all ready?"
She asked as she got up while looking at Zephyr. He nodded as he sat on a chair which had a drawer beside it, either filled with tools or perhaps some keys. She sighed as she said...
"Come on sugercube, you do realise working is important. Plus, you can't be tired from dustin."
She said as she put her arm around him, she sighed. Luckily for AJ her patients were high, so she said...
"Well, one things for sure, you still have two more tasks."
"B-but Applejack, I just wanna rest."
Zephyr said while Applejack sighed. She thought about a solution, what could make Zephyr continued to clean? Till it popped in her head. She looked at him straight into his eye and said...
"Alright then, are you good at singin?"
Zephyr crooked an eyebrow, yes he was good at it. But not to the extreme, when ever he hits the high notes he sounds like a dying cat. He nodded and she said...
"Well, think about. Singing could make it fun when you clean and it makes you go faster. Just take my advice and i'll be proud."
She said as she kissed the right side of his head, he blushed once more as she went off to do her other chores. Later on, Zephyr was vacuuming. He was in the upstairs as he was vacuuming the bathroom, he sighed till he thought of a song, he sung it when ever he feels like giving up or perhaps something he had to do which was hard... like vacuuming. He hummed it out as he began to tap his foot.
"Frustration builds up inside..."
He sung as he turned the vacuum into the halls and continued on his way to Big Mac's room. It had a twin bed with a oak drawer beside it, he had his clothes inside his closet, his banjo on leaning against the window, a t.v stand with a small t.v with a DVD play with DVD cases beside it, Zephyr continued to sing and clean...
"Their are times that you want to give up! And you think that you can't move on!"
He danced as he swished while continuing his vacuum singing. Applejack was happy as she heard the vacuum on as she heard his singing, it wasn't bad, it was felt good. She blushed as she put on her gloves for the garden and headed out to plant some new apple trees. An hour later, Zephyr went outside as he saw Applejack, planting in the final sapling for the apple tree. She wiped her sweat as she turned around to see Zephyr, sweating himself as he went up to Applejack.
"So, did you do it?"
"Yup, eh, I guess you were kind of right. Singing did actually make it faster."
Applejack chuckled, giving her boyfriend a shovel. He was confused till he realised he had to plant some seeds. He sighed as Applejack gave him another pat on the back...
"Don't worry sugacube, all you need to do is plant more apple trees on the left side of the yard and lastly to water the plants."
Zephyr nodded as Applejack walked away, perhaps going to do something in the garage. Another went by as the Granny Smith, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom never came back, perhaps they were still shopping. Zephyr was tired and exhausted as he was lying on the sofa. His shoes were on the floor as the horse blanket was covering his stomach , legs and feet. He had his arm on his forehead as he was snoring away.
Applejack saw this as she smiled, she was tired too but luckily she ordered some Pizza. She ordered it after she did her final task and it was gonna come in twenty minutes. She walked towards Zephyr, blush was on her face as she kissed his cheek. Zephyr groaned but smiled as he turned on his left side.
"He, I'll let him sleep."
She whispered as she was gonna walk away, she felt something grab her hand. Zephyr was now awake, his eyes grew and blush was on his face.
"Be with me."
He said as he continued this emotion, Applejack rolled her eyes as she said...
"Alright, alright sugercube. I'll stay, but a pizza is comin so just a few minutes."
Zephyr's smile grew as Applejack got on top of Zephyr as they began to cuddle each other. The feeling of warmth of love is the best feeling they felt, usually the couple would have small kisses and embraces of hugs, but this was a bit different. This lasted for minutes on end, kisses, embraces and continuing of cuddles occur as it was all handy dandy. Zephyr sighed as he kissed Applejack's head, she blushed as he said...
"Sorry about that AJ."
"Haha, it's okay. I'm just the same as you."
Till a heard of a door bell ring, Applejack's pupils went low as she looked at the clock, it was around five-twenty. Oh no, she thought as she got off Zephyr and ran to get her money she put on the coffee table before meeting with her boyfriend in the living room. It was about twelve dollars, the pizza had the simple and classic pepperoni, cheese and extra sauce. Applejack opened the door to see Derpy, holding a pizza box as it was the colour of white, with a large Italian flag that says "Ciao A' Pizza".
"Here ya go Derpy."
She smiled as she gave the young grey woman twelve dollars. Later, the couple was eating their pizza as they watched some t.v show about making a old house, turn into something more stunning and new. Zephyr was stroking her hair as he was eating his pizza in the left hand, Applejack didn't want to eat to much, since the cowgirl was healthy, she only the amount of two slices.
"Suga cube, you must be filled already."
"Nah, just want a eat as I can before going home."
Zephyr said with pride as AJ rolled her eyes.
"By the way, good job today."
Zephyr blushed as his lips were straighten. By hearing this, he looked at his girl and smiled at her.
"Thanks."
