Principal Celestia was on the verge of a mental breakdown, why oh why did she not think of the phones of the students? They're on their phones almost all of the time, she was busy pacing in her office, she had recently gotten a call that a government official had gotten wind of what had happened during the Friendship Games and had backed up and taken most of the videos down almost immediately, claiming they were hoaxes or special effects. A knock on Celestia's door made her nearly jump out of her skin. "C-Come in!" She said trying to keep a handle on her nervous voice. She felt immense relief when it was just her younger sister and Vice-Principal Luna open and come through the mahogany barrier.
"Tia, you need to relax." Was the first sentence out of Luna's mouth when she entered.
"Re-RELAX!? How can I relax!? The government knows about magic! They could take the girls away! Oh god what could happen to Sunset? What if she tells them about Equestria?" The principal of Canterlot High was hysterical.
Luna, knowing her sister just opened the desk drawer and pulled out a paper bag. She opened it up and handed it to her, "Breathe." She commanded. Tia took the offered bag and started breathing in and out of it, the paper bag inflating and crinkling with every breath. "You need to stop watching those conspiracy videos, and you also need to stop jumping to conclusions."
After calming down Tia looked at her sister, "I just don't want anything happening to any of my students."
"Nothing will." Luna rubbed Celestia on the back, "I promise."
There was a second knock on the door that echoed throughout the office of the principal. Owner of said office took a deep but shaky breath, "Showtime." She said and opened the door. As expected there was an agent, black and white suit and tie, sunglasses, briefcase, the works, he had short brown hair and a short beard, he wasn't as tall as the women but his aura held a message and the message was clear. Don't mess with.
The agent cleared his throat and asked in his deep voice, "May I come in?"
"O-Of course!" Celestia said, "Can I get you anything to drink? Water, coffee, alcohol?"
The agent looked up at her when she said the last one and raised an eyebrow over his sunglasses. "She's kidding!" Luna said and stared at her sister, with a what the hell is wrong with you face.
"I frankly don't care what kind of alcoholic beverages you have in your office, that's for the school board to reprehend you on not Homeland." The agent said as he took a seat, prompting the principal to take a seat and for Luna to stand next to her sister after closing the door and shutting the blinds.
"I have a few questions before we get started." Celestia said.
"If you're worried about us taking the girls, you have nothing to worry about. Keeping an eye on them? Yes, we don't kidnap people. Not anymore at least." The agent replied.
"Secondly your name?" Celestia asked, "Or do I just address you as Agent Smith?"
"Connors, My name and title is Agent Joseph Connors of the Department of Homeland Security. We're not robots, we aren't built in a lab. We were born here, raised here, and we joined here. We were trained to have cold indifference, however some of us are a little more indifferent than others, and some like myself have a little less indifference." Agent Connors said, "Now shall we proceed to why I'm here?"
Celestia gulped and nodded. "Yes, let's proceed."
"I'm more than positive you already know the situation surrounding Canterlot High and the magical influx. I commemorate you for attempting to keep a lid on this, but with how things are nowadays, it's easier to get ahold of information now more than ever."
"Yes, I understand. What are you going to do?" Celestia asked.
"It's our beliefs that any attempt to remove the portal would incur more repercussions than benefits, and we're not going through the portal as we would wouldn't know what would happen if we do. Some of our best scientists we keep an eye on the portal and any other magical anomalies that happen to enter our world, from a distance of course." Agent Connors then continued, "The problem is that you tried to keep this from the government, and hiding things from us. Especially when it could end our very way of life is not something that would put you in a favorable light with us."
"There must be a reason why we're still here instead of the school being shut down and everyone taken in for questioning." Luna spoke up.
"There is, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle." Agent Connors said.
"What do they have to do with this?" Celestia asked incredulously.
"Redemption, we kept an eye on Sunset. After all, people don't just pop up out of nowhere with no birth certificate or social security card. The fact that she found a job is amazing to say the least." Agent Connors commented, "Back to the topic at hand, we are willing to forgive your transgressions and are willing to work with you, however there has to be some changes with how things operate around here, there will be no changes to the staff, aside from assigning a school resource officer. Secondly, there will be no more sending these girls out to solve magical problems by themselves, at least not without the proper training and resources to effectively eliminate said situation. Thirdly, there's going to be a program instituted."
"What kind of program?" Celestia asked.
"This program is experimental, we'll start with a control group of four. With your track record of being able to redeem students, we believe that the same could be done for juvenile criminals." Agent Connors said.
"Wait. You want us to take in and teach Juvy criminals?" Luna asked, "That's insane!"
"It's these kids last chance. Juvenile Hall is not working for these children. And some of them do want to have an education, like I said. The program is experimental, if it goes awry, it's going to be shut down. Cooperation is within your best interests."
"You said a control group of four, which four?" Celestia asked.
Agent Connors brought up his briefcase and set it on the desk, popping it open and placing four files on oak desk, he took the briefcase off and lay it next to his chair. Celestia opened the first file as Agent Connors began, "First off we have Johnathan Deal he's 5'8, brown hair and green eyes, he weighs 180 lbs. John is a genius, he scored a 195 on an IQ test that he thought was a game so he wasn't taking it seriously. Records show that he's shown more than a capability to escape almost any confinement we put him in, he's picked through his handcuffs using a paperclip before. We locked him in a mental institution room. He's in juvy for hacking into several banks and redistributing money to the poor. Modern day Robin Hood, except his bow and arrow are digital. He's also extremely violent, put a fellow delinquent in the ICU by stabbing him with a pencil repeatedly. Any test he takes will have to be in crayon."
Celestia looked at the Agent who stared back at her. She put the first file down and moved onto the next one. "Okay." She murmured.
"Next we have Bogden Petrov, to his friends he's known as the Russian. Standing at 6'9 with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs an intimidating 295 pounds. Family immigrated from Russia to America in the late 90's around the time he was born. He quickly made a name for himself as being the biggest guy in the room. Which made everyone want to fight him, one day he just snapped and put 15 kids in the hospital that was in the 4th grade. By the time he was 15 he had hospitalized 47 and was potentially questioned for a murder, however nothing was ever pinned on him. His father has possible ties to the KGB, but nothing has been confirmed. Most dangerous thing about this boy is that his father is former Spetsnaz, and trained his son in sambo. Nothing short of a taser or gun will stop this kid, we're just lucky that his father instilled a respect for authority in him."
"It seems to me that you're intent on giving us the worst of the worst." Luna said.
"Trust me, while these kids are tempermental, they get reduced sentences out of this program. So they have incentive to keep their heads down." Agent Connors said.
"Let's move on." Celestia said while putting the file down, and grabbing the next one.
"The next one is Lucas Tamberlin. He's an even 6 feet tall, dirty blonde hair, an even 230 pounds. He was a drug dealer before we caught him. The boy had a lot of fingers in a lot of pies so to speak. Weed, coke, meth, heroin, crack, jet fuel, extacy. You name it he's sold it, the man could sell ice to an eskimo and fire to a man in hell. His old man was in the KKK. Lucas didn't agree with that so one night, he switched his dad's sugar in his coffee for a cocktail of drugs he calls the Kiss of Death. His dad was a druggie so it's not known whether it was Luke or not, all signs point to yes but he claims that his dad was looking for a fix and stumbled onto the wrong thing. Kid's a genius when it comes to any chemicals, that's why we keep him out of the laundry room." Agent Connors said.
"So, a hacker, a brute, and a drug dealer." Celestia said, "Hopefully it won't get any worse." She moved onto the last file.
"The last one is a bit of a mystery, as far as we know. His name is Jackal, or that's what everyone calls him. He likes the previous three because they don't take shit from him. He was found in an abandoned asylum feasting on rats, took down 8 cops before they shot him with enough tranquilizers to put a baby elephant to sleep. He's willing to learn and understands basic english, we believe his parents abandoned him and he became mostly feral. We say mostly due to the previous reasons, we'll keep an officer with him at all times makes sure he doesn't start attacking others." Agent Connors.
"These four boys are willing to come to our school and cooperate? Socialize even?" Celestia asked.
"They have incentive to keep their noses out of trouble. Some of them might need tutoring, the others need guidance." Agent Connors said, "They'll start at the beginning of next week. You have enough time to make an announcement about the program, or you can say that new students are going to attend Canterlot High, how you do it is up to you. But I wouldn't hesitate to say something. I'll be making my leave now." Agent Connors said and got up collecting his briefcase, "The files are your copy, we have ours digitized and backed up." He then took out a business card with a single phone number written on it. "This is my number, call me if anything happens. I'll be close by." The agent strode out the door continuing out of the school.
Celestia looked at Luna, "Looks like we have an announcement to make."
"Intercom or Assembly?" Luna asked.
"Assembly, the personal setting would help students adjust." Celestia stared down at files and then back at her sister, she then sighed. "I need a drink."
Meanwhile in Canterlot Juvenile hall the four aforementioned teens sat around a lunch table. Not saying anything to each other as they ate, John's head perked up as he looked at an approaching security guard, he dropped a note at John's feet who stretched his legs and covered it with his shoe, pulling it over to himself, he reached down to scratch an itch and then he picked up the note, reading it, You're in the program. John grinned to himself and got up looking at his as Bogden would say, comrades. He coughed and got the attention of the other three. They stared at him with a slight glimmer of hope in their eyes. "Boys, we've got a lot of work ahead of us. We're in."

Assemblies of Anarchy.
Students of Canterlot High filed into the gym in a mass, most of them whispering and wondering what was going on, Sunset Shimmer. The pony turned to human girl, who is now close friends with a princess of her former world. She sat with her friends, Twilight Sparkle or as everyone in their group called her Sci-Twi and had recently transferred over to Canterlot High. Rainbow Dash, the polychromatic speedster that was the captain of every sports team the high school had. Rarity Belle, the fashionista with a heart so generous that she would give you her own clothes off her back. Pinkie Pie, the energetic baker who just can't seem to stop moving, baking, partying, or a combination of the three. Applejack, the down to earth country girl who loves to help out on her family's apple farm. Finally there was Fluttershy, the gentle natured girl who loved everything and anything to do with animals. They were all in the midst of whispering to each other, "What do you think this assembly is about?" Sunset asked her friends.
"Do you think it's about what happened during the friendship games?" Twilight asked nervously.
"Twilight, you have nothing to worry about darling." Rarity calmed her friend, "I promise you."
"But what about all those videos?" Twilight asked.
"Most of them were dismissed as special effects or trolled into the dirt." Rainbow said confidently, "Some of them were removed from HayTube altogether." Rainbow put up her feet on someone's shoulders, which were then pushed off and she got a stare, she quickly apologized and the person turned their head and crossed their arms. Rainbow then got smacked on the head, "Hey!" She turned to see the culprit was her oldest friend Fluttershy.
"People are?" Fluttershy asked.
"People." Rainbow finished.
"And they're not?" She questioned again.
"Furniture." Rainbow concluded, now embarrassed.
"Now pay attention." Fluttershy lightly scolded and the other girls also turned their attention towards the Principals.
Celestia and Luna looked amongst the crowd of student and faculty that they had gathered with the impromptu assembly, Luna was the first to the podium. "Thank you for coming and assembling in such a timely manner." She spoke with her commanding voice, "Now as I'm sure you're all aware, of the...occurrences during the Friendship Games, and it has led us to a situation that we are no longer in control of. The videos you posted and everything that has been surrounding the school has been noted. We cannot keep magic a secret any longer. In fact we have been very lucky to have gotten this far at all." Luna said and the entire student body started to murmur.
Celestia, finally gotten a handle on her nerves stepped up, "Thank you Vice-Principal Luna, I'll take it from here." Celestia dismissed her sister from the podium and looked to her students, the children that she was responsible for, "Unfortunately what Vice-Principal Luna said was true, we can't hide magic anymore, at least. Not from the government, we recently got a visit from a representative from the Department of Homeland Security. To say that we're scared is an understatement, I'm terrified of what could happen if this gets out into the public, of what could happen to you. The students we care for, so in exchange for the government assistance, we have accepted an experiment student program to help reintegrate and redeem some of the community's worst teenagers. So starting Monday, there will be four new transfer students. We ask that you refrain from making these new students upset or agitated in any sort of way. We're willing to answer any and all of your questions after school, for now please return to your classes and have a great weekend." Celestia and Luna returned to their offices as soon as they could.
Sunset and the other girls looked at each other with fearful looks in their eyes and they soon made their way to the offices of Principal and Vice Principal. When Sunset knocked on the door, their knocks were answered with the door opening, Vice-Principal Luna being the one who answered the door. "Come in girls." She said solemnly,
The main 7 entered single file, and saw the looks on the faculty leaders. Sunset could tell that they were stressed, "Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna. What's Wrong?" The girl with the red and yellow head of hair asked.
"Girls, there's no easy way to say this. So, I'm just going to tell you the truth." Celestia started, "You can't use your magic in the school any more."
"What!?" Rainbow shouted.
"Rainbow Diane Dash!" Luna commanded and Rainbow clasped her hands over her mouth, mumbling out a muffled apology.
"Listen, the fact that we've gotten this far without some form of Government branch investigating us and shutting the school down and taking the seven of you in for questioning and then taking Sunset in for experimentation is a miracle."
"E-Experimentation?" Sunset nervously exclaimed, "T-They can't do that! Can they?"
"Legally speaking, since you don't have a birth certificate, social security card, or any way to prove that you legally immigrated or were born here, and since you're technically still a pony you would have nothing to protect you from the government doing what they want to you." Luna explained.
Sunset froze, "We wouldn't let anythin' happen to her!" Applejack shouted and the other girls agree.
"And in the eyes of the law you would be aiding and abetting a terrorist from an unknown world." Celestia stated which caused all of them to stop in their tracks, "Girls. Right now, we're lucky that Homeland Security is giving us a comparable slap on the wrist. That's after the fact that the school as a whole is a part of local government tried to hide this from the people in D.C." She sighed and took a sip of her heavily irish coffee, "The truth is ever since you developed your powers. It was a matter of time until someone stepped in. All things considered we should be extremely grateful that something like this is happening. Our only problem is the new transfer students coming in monday. Some of them if not all of them require tutoring and as much as I would hate to ask, I'm going to need you girls to do it. However it's entirely your choice, I'm not forcing you do do anything you don't want to."
"I'm sure with our combined efforts we can do it." Sci-Twi pushed up her glasses, and the other girls vocalized their agreement.
You have no idea what you girls are getting yourselves into, Celestia and Luna thought to themselves while looking at the girls.
Meanwhile in the Palomino County Juvenile Correctional Facility, the four future transfer students stood in the yard. Bogden, was busy benching 200 pounds, John was spotting him, but it was just for safety more than anything else. Luke stood next to John while Jackal was in the yard chasing rats and mice. "So, you mind explaining to me just exactly how you got the four of us into an experimental government program?" Luke directed his question at John, "Especially with him?" He pointed at Jackal, who now had a rat hanging from his mouth.
"You mean besides the fact that I know what exactly is going on in Area 51?" John replied to Luke's question with a question, "Or do you mean that I have some very top secret government secrets that I could sell to the highest bidder?"
"The fact," Bogden pushed the bench bar up for the 500th time before reracking it and sitting up, "The fact that you haven't been assassinated speaks wonders." He finished.
"Many have tried," John said, "After the 10th attempt it was labeled a waste of government resources. It's better to work with someone who has leverage than against them."
"How smart are you?" Luke asked, this wasn't the first time he had asked this question.
"To say very would be an understatement." John answered, "If I applied myself in a way benefitting only me, I'd be rich. If applied myself benefiting others, I'd be running a charity. Unfortunately I like to do bad things for good reasons."
"And the only reason you don't get murdered on a daily basis because of your smart mouth, is because you help others." Luke said, "You're a natural leader, that's why we flocked to you."
"I'm no leader, I'm an asshole." John replied while staring at Jackal, "Hey manbeast!" He shouted at the feral person.
Jackal looked at John with a look that obviously read, 'what the fuck do you want?' Whilst holding a rat in his hand.
"Either eat it or leave it alone, don't play with it. It's cruel." John told the feral one, Jackal grunted and threw it over his shoulder. He turned his attention back to Luke, "To answer your question about how I got Homeland to approve, I'm the one who tipped them off about all the strange happenings around Canterlot High, after all it's not like you see a rainbow in the middle of the night."
"And where did you get the info about this Sunset Shimmer?" Bogden asked.
"A program I wrote, facial recognition software. Pulled up a red flag when scanning her, no records of any kind. Dental, nothing. Birth Certificate, nada. Social Security, nope." John explained, "Then these phenomena started occurring about a year after she showed up? I believe in a lot of things, but that couldn't be a coincidence." John explained.
"The logic behind your reasoning is sound." Bogden surmised, "But, I thought you hated the government."
"Just because you hate something doesn't mean you can't work with whatever it is that you hate to achieve the same goals." John said, "The government as a whole is corrupt, but that doesn't mean you should dismiss every single person who has worked for it. I judge people as individuals and entities as entities."
"And that makes you one of the good guys?" Luke asked.
"You ask a lot of questions for a drug dealer, you already know I'm not a good guy. I'm a bad guy who does what is necessary for the people that can't stand up to the corporations that are screwing them over."
"Cyber terrorist." Luke said.
"Smack Addict." John retorted.
Then the trio burst into laughter, "Why are we talking about this? I thought we already knew these things." Bogden stated.
"FoR thE AuDieNcE." Jackal spoke up in a gravelly and broken voice.
"What?" Luke asked turning to the manbeast, Jackal in turn rolled his eyes.
There was a shrill whistle in the air signaling the end of yard time, the quartet sighed and made their way back inside.
The girls were gathered in the music room, going over their plans for the new transfer students, all they had to go on were their names. "What kinda name is Jackal? He sounds like he was raised in the woods." Rainbow Dash nearly exclaimed.
"Jackal's are small carnivorous dogs, so he could have been." Fluttershy spoke up when Ra
"Pish posh darling, it has to be a nickname of sorts." Rarity dismissed.
"Then wouldn't the principals have given us two names? His legal name and what he goes by?" Sci-Twi asked.
"You're focusing on one person when there are four boys transferring here." Applejack said.
"Um girls, I think we're missing an obvious question here." Sunset spoke up getting the attention of all in the music room, "Why is Homeland Security involved in all this?"
"You mean besides the fact that we've been dealing with apocalyptic scenarios when some of us don't have drivers licenses, and aren't old enough to vote? Or is it the fact that we're firing off something that doesn't belong in this world constantly?" Sci-Twi said, "I don't know how much longer we could have kept at this without someone getting seriously hurt...or worse."
Everyone seemed to be suddenly interested in the floor, "I'm glad the Government is stepping in." Pinkie said, which shocked all of the girls.
"What are you saying Pinkie?" Sunset asked, "Do you not trust me?"
"No Shimmy, it's not that I don't trust you." Pinkie used her nickname for Sunset, "It's just well...you know how I'm friends with EVERYONE in the school?" Pinkie asked and the girls nodded their agreement, "Well...during the Friendship Games, something happened... you know Ditzy Doo right?"
"Grayish skin, yellow eyes, and blonde hair? Surprisingly good at bubble tests?" Rainbow asked and Pinkie nodded her confirmation.
"She....almost fell into one of the holes to Equestria...one more second later and she would've been stuck in a strange land and could've gotten hurt, or worse. She told me she was having nightmares about it, and all I can think about is what happened to other people besides us?" Pinkie motioned to the other girls, "We've been so focused and so happy about getting our powers we never thought about those caught up in our magical adventures that never wanted to be in there in the first place!"
"Shoot Pinkie, how hard have you been thinking about this?" Applejack asked.
"Hard enough." Pinkie said the she continued, "Girls, we're just teenagers. Are going to be responsible if someone gets hurt? If something happens that can never be taken back?"
Sunset walked over and hugged Pinkie, "Pinkie. I am so sorry, this should have never happened. My people were so careless, we never thought about where it was going and if it could harm others." She brushed through Pinkie's hair with her fingers, soon the other girls joined into the group hug.
"Thanks girls, I really appreciate it." Pinkie said.
"I'll contact Princess Twilight and tell her about Homeland security stepping in, I swear we're are going to make this right."
