The Blissful Meeting

It was another bright summer day in the Rift Café, or at least what you could get when you’re in space. The Brony Analysts community were hard at work, making videos and posting them online for the all the world to see. All of which, except for one. The short white rainbow alicorn of the group, Lightning Bliss, was feeling less motivated than usual, and was quiet around others. This caught the attention to her bipedal canine friend, Dr Wolf. One day, he saw Bliss sitting at the bar, drinking a vanilla smoothie with chocolate sauce with a cherry on top. The Doctor walked up and sat next to the alicorn.

“Greetings, Miss Bliss.” He smiled.

Lightning gazed her eyes at the wolf, then turned back to her drink.

Worried, he spoke once more. “Is something wrong?”

The Alicorn sighed as she pushed away her drink and turned to face her canine companion. “Not really…..”

“Oh?” He replied. “Is it something you wish to discuss?”

“No.” Bliss said quietly, as she slid off the stool and walked towards the doors.

As if by instinct, the doctor followed her and proceeded to talk to her. “Lightning, you know I am here to help those in need. And it looks like you need someone to talk to.”

The Alicorn shrugged it off. “I’ll be fine, doc. Besides, you probably have some clients waiting for you.”

“Actually, things have been a bit quiet lately.” He replied. “I don’t have any appointments booked today, so perhaps you and I can have a chat.”

Bliss was hesitant at first, then gave in. “Alright, doc. Is tomorrow okay with you?”

“Of course.” He smiled at his friend. “Tomorrow is perfect by me. I’ll see you then.”

Both of them said their goodbyes, then left to their channels.
