“Perfect timing!” Mrs. Blue Bonnet said happily, giving him a smile. "I nearly have supper ready. Why don't you come inside and join me."

“Please. I insist.” Mrs. Blue Bonnet said rather firmly. “I won’t take no for an answer.” She turned to go inside and paused to look back over her shoulder to motion for him to follow. "Now, come along."
Unable to turn down her kind offer without being rude, Dirtbound followed her inside. Normally, he tried to keep his gaze where it was proper, but as he followed behind Mrs. Blue Bonnet, he found his gaze lingering on her rounded flanks as she walked, her hips rolling pleasantly as she moved ahead of him. To right was an office. A thick, green and gold scroll-worked carpet covered the polished hardwood floor with a large desk positioned to face the entrance. Ahead, was well worn set of stairs, leading up to the second floor.
Stepping across the polished hardwood floor, Mrs. Blue Bonnet turned to looked back at him with a smile. “How about you use the shower to wash up first. The bathroom is the first door at the top of the stairs.”
Watching her disappear down the hall to the kitchen, Dirt did as she asked and climbed up the stairs to the bathroom. Stepping inside, he closed the door and moved over to the large cast iron tub and turned the knobs to start up the shower. Pulling the curtain closed behind him, Dirt stepped into the tub and let out a pleased sigh as he felt the hot water soak into his almond-brown coat.
Scrubbing shampoo into his sandy yellow mane, Dirt was surprised when the shower curtain suddenly pulled aside and Mrs, Blue Bonnet looked in. "I brought you a towel to use."

Continuing down to the dinning room, he found dinner already set out.

As they ate, Mrs. Blue Bonnet asked him to tell her a little about himself. Blue Bonnet smiled and nodded. “Yes.”
