Prologue: A Ride through a Fairy Tale

Rarity and Pinkie Pie both were sitting on a train heading straight to Canterlot. The fashionista was feeling quite exhausted from the day's events. She was remembering how she was going to take over all of Equestria, making it into her paradise, and it made her feel sick. Many of the ponies were still angry with her, so she decided it was best to skip town and let things cool off for a bit. Luckily for her Fancy Pants was hosting a party at his manor so it was a good excuse to go to Canterlot to clear her head. The mare was grumbling irritably as she stared out the window and gave a deep sigh, "so...you want to come to this party?"

From across the table, Pinkie Pie was bouncing up and down in excitement she squeaked and clapped her hooves. "Oh, yes! That sounds like a lot of fun!"

Rarity blushed a little as she explained, "you know...this is going to be a boring party full of stuffy stallions and mares."

Pinkie Pie just casually waved a hoof and chirped, "I know I'm probably going to be bored out of my mind. But I'm coming because your so sad and I'm going to try to make you smile no matter what!"

Rarity gave her friend a small smile feeling good seeing how far Pinkie Pie will go to see her friends smile and whispered, "Hey, thanks darling I really appreciate what you're doing."

Pinkie hugged Rarity and rubbed her friend's soft white coat and squealed, "hey I know that what happened with you and that strange power wasn't your fault. Come on cheer up please!"

Rarity shrugged as ahe was unsure if she would be able to. The mare casually looked down at the menu for food to order. "How about I indulge a little and have some of this ice cream sundae it looks delectable."

Pinkie Pie squealed jumping up and down in excitement. "oh I think I'll get that too! Now, where's that waiter?"

A waiter eventually came around he looked quite dull with a simple tuxedo with a grey coat and dull gold eyes. He took out a quill and writing down the order and walking off. She went down the train cars to fetch the ice cream. Rarity sat back in her seat and sighed, "Hopefully, the ice cream will help me get back in a good mood."

Pinkie Pie was still being over-enthusiastic and exclaimed, "doesn't it always! I bet it'll be the icecream ever!"

The mare jumped up and down in excitement as the ice cream came over with the waiter placing a cup of it in front of each pony. The stallion came over and placed some boring cups of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate drizzle on it. Pinkie Pie pouted looking down at her ice cream. "Huh never mind this is the most boring ice cream I've ever seen."

Rarity rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Yeah, I think if I eat that it'll make my depression worse."

Pinkie pie tapped a hoof to her chin as she pondered, "if only I can make it exciting?"

Then suddenly out of nowhere, magic tendrils wrapped around the ice creams and they exploded with bursts of green magic. The cups were now a bright pink glass, the ice cream was now a thick pink and was clearly strawberry flavored, with strawberries placed all over the ice cream with whipped cream on top. Rarity blinked in surprise and a questioning tone; she asked, "Pinkie, did you do that?"

The energetic pink mare shrugged as she shouted, "I don't know, but they look so much better!"

Pinkie went about digging a spoon into the ice cream, shoveling it into her face getting it all over the table. Rarity blushed as she gently ate the ice cream with a little spoon. The ice cream was surprisingly delicious like an explosion of strawberries smothered in whipped cream. The white-coated mare moaned, "oh my gosh! This is the best ice cream I've ever had."

The two mares continued to chomp down on the ice cream for some time until they finished every last bit of it.

They both laid back in their seats, patting their bellies. Pinkie Pie moaned, "that was delicious! I wonder if we can do that again!"

Rarity gave a nod and chirped, "how about we get some cake!"

Just as the fashionista said that Pinkie Pie slammed a hoof on the menu shouting, "Waiter! We would like to orer somthing else!"

The bored looking stallion slowly walked over snd took out a quill with a small piece of parchment and asked, "so? what else would you like to order?"

Pinkie Pie was still quite excited bouncing on the chair as she exclaimed, "we would like two pieces of cake please and make it fast!"

The waiter nodded and began to write the next order down. He walked down the train and quickly returned with two boring pieces of cake with white icing on them. Both pieces of cakes turned bright pink with strawberries on them. The two continued eating with Pinkie Pie munching and smearing cake over her mouth while Rarity went about eating faintly with a big smile on her face feeling a lot better.

Rarity was still amazed as she whispered, "how is this happening? Do we still have that strange magic flowing through us?"

Pinkie Pie shrugged as she licked the icing off her hoof, "maybe I mean I don't know what else could have turned the ice cream or the cake like that."

The boring waiter walked by not entirely sure what's going on seeing the pink frosting and ice cream smeared all over the table. The stallion was quite confused seeing how the cake and ice crem he served wasn't pink before. The waiter looked up at the two mares and asked, "can I do anything else for you?"

Both Rarity and Pinkie Pie both turned their attention to the waiter and with smirks on their faces, their eyes lit up with a green glow in them.

Without warning shot, magic, tendrils snaked themselves around the waiter's boring suit the black fabric turning into a bright pink as it turned into a pink frilly dress that fell around his body. But the spell did more giving the stallion pink and white striped socks on each of his hooves with black mary jane shoes on each hoof with a pink satin bow appearing in his mane. The stallion was now clearly dressed in frilly pink maid's outfit clicking his hooves together with a blush on his face. The mares burst into laughter as the stallion ran off as fast as he could with his frilly dress shaking its frills about. Just as the train came to a stop Rarity and Pinkie Pie then both got up and slowly made their way onto the station while giggling to each other.

Rarity was giddy with that eerie green glow came into her eyes. "Oh, that was quite fun! As they both walked onto the streets as Rarity snickered, "hey Pinkie lets have fun but don't go crazy with this magic you know? I mean you have to admit that the waiter looked adorable in his new outfit."

Pinkie also had the green glow in her eyes. "Yeah I agree! let's continue making things pretty and fun! This is so exciting!"

Rarity seeming to have to be possessed again also exclaimed, "Yes darling we shall make things pretty and fun! I couldn't agree more!"

The two mares continued to skip together into the streets of Canterlot with that weird green glow in their eyes.

It wasn't long until both mares were quite exhausted from walking down many blocks through Canterlot. Rarity was getting quite flustered looking around the cobblestone streets and groaned and whined,"ugh I don't get why it's difficult to find a taxi carriage around here?"

Pinkie Pie spotted one coming down the road with a handsome looking stallion pulling a beautiful white chariot. The stallion himself had a pure white coat with a light gold mane and tail streaming down his face.

The stallion turned towards the mares and asked, "Hey, you two need a lift? I have room here if ya need to get somewhere?"

Rarity flicked her eyes as she squealed, "thank you, darling, we both appreciate it!"

Pinkie pie bounced over to the stallion and gave him a big hug squealing "yeah thanks! You're a lifesaver!"

The stallion blushed as he patted the pink mare on the back and wheezed, "yeah no problem."

Pinkie Pie finally let go as Rarity looked the carriage over and sighed, "this is quite the carriage darling. However, I do think we could spruce it up a little."

Suddenly magic tendrils appeared around the carriage transforming it slowly as it grew bigger and rounder turning into a pink pumpkin fairytale carriage. The driver blushed as a pink harness with hearts printed on it attached itself to the stallion's body. A set of pink armor then suddenly appeared on his body with white frills outlining the metal rims.

Pinkie clapped her hooves and squeaked, "oh he's an adorable knight in adorable armor! Let's call your Adorable Armor!"

The stallion blushed to look over his bubble gum pink armor and whimpered, "uh... that's not my name?"

Pinkie booped his nose and squeaked, "it is now! I mean how can it with you in that super cute armor!"

Rarity turned around and gave him a smug grin and cooed, "now darling, can you take us to Fancy Pants' house? I do believe it's not far from here."

"Adorable Armor" wasn't sure but seeing Rarity giving him those bedroom eyes. He gave her a goofy smile and sighed, "alright then... that's fine uh hop in I know where it is."

The two mares walked into the carriage as they sat across from each other in big pink comfy seats. Rarity clapped her hooves and chirped, "oh this is so much fun, darling! I can't wait to see what else we can make pretty and cute at the same time!"

Pinkie Pie gave a nod and shouted, "yeah! I bet we can make that boring party super fun now with these powers! Whatcha say!?"

Rarity looked down at her body and groaned, "Oh phooey! I forgot to put on a dress! How could I show up to a party without wearing a beautiful gown!"

Pinkie Pie looked around and sighed, "yeah I think that we forgot them in our luggage. Oh well! Im sure we can find some cute dresses somewhere!"

Then suddenly without warning the pink seats folded out and the two suddenly were both laid down as silky pink underwear suddenly slipped over their rumps with frilly pink socks were pulled over their legs, along with sparkling, glittering gold pumps on each hoof. Pinkie Pie blushed to see her silky pink underwear and asked, "hey Rarity? Are you doing this?"

The white-coated mare shook her head as she rubbed a hoof over it. "I don't think so, but my goodness, it's made of very high-quality silk!"

But the makeover was far from done as pink princess dresses suddenly appeared over their bodies with thick white frills underneath. They had big white frilly bows tied around their midriffs. They then were set back up as their manes were combed and curled around their faces by brushes and combs giving each mare a set of locks that bounced around their heads, along with strawberry smelling mane spray being sprayed into their manes, pink bows were then tied in each of their manes finishing that off. Soon eyeliner was then applied to their eyelashes along with a thick pink lipstick and their cheeks were powdered with a lush pink blush puffed on their cheeks. As the makeover was being finished up, their carriage stopped, and the driver shouted, "hey we're here!"

Both of the ponies strutted out of the carriage shaking their rumps with their giant frilly dresses. Adorable Armor face went a deep red seeing Rarity all pretty up she turned around batting her eyelashes as she gave him a big bag of bits and cooed sweetly. "Sorry about your taxi, darling? I put in a little extra for all we put you through."

The driver was still surprised as he stammered, "it... it's ok...do you want me to wait?"

Pinkie Pie chirped, "why don't you come with us to the party! Its going to be so much fun!" As Pinkie Pie went about unhitching the stallion he gave Rarity a longing gaze and with a blush he stammered, "s..sure? I wouldn't mind that it sounds like a lot of fun."

Rarity gave him a peck on his cheek and cooed, "come on, darling, let's go have some fun."

The three then both strutted up the steps of Fancy Pants' manor and came upon a butler whose eyes blinked upon seeing the three odd-looking ponies in their outrageous outfits. "Uh, can I help you?"

Rarity scoffed at seeing the butler in his drab tuxedo, not unlike the waiter on the train. "The real question is, can we help you?" She lit her horn as the butler's tuxedo turned a bright pink color with cute little princess tiaras and kittens were printed all over the fabric. The butler gaped in horror at his tuxedo as Rarity held out her invitation with a coy smile and cooed,"were on the list, now please excuse us."

She then strutted her way into the manor along with Pinkie Pie bouncing along. Adorable Armor was still blushing and feeling quite emberassed as he slowly walked into the house too having no idea on what's going to happen next.
