Mane six and friends react to Friendship is magic

"Twilight Spark..." Said Spike slowly as he began writing down the young unicorn's name. However, the purple dragon trailed off when he noticed that he was no longer in the library. "Um, Twilight?" Hearing a gasp of surprise and the accompanying freakout, Spike knew that Twilight also noticed the change in scenery.

"Spike, do you know what just happened?" asked Twilight. Before Spike could answer, another voice spoke up.

"Everyone please calm down," said a smoothing voice. The sudden voice caused Twilight to jump.

"Princess," she said as she bowed. "Do you know where we are?" Before Celestia could answer, she saw something that took her breath away.

"Luna," she said in disbelief. "Is that you?". She quickly hugged the younger alicorn, who tearfully returned that embrace.

"I missed you so much sister," stated Luna, surprising nearly everyone.

"Sister?" was the response of nearly everypony. "Who are you?"

"Everypony, this is my sister, Luna" said Celestia, tears still in her eyes. "Why don't we all introduce ourselves and then figure out where we are".

"Howdy y'all," said a orange earth mare with a Stetson on her head. "My name's Applejack and this here is my younger sister, Applebloom".

"Nice to meet cha'" said the young yellow filly.

"Hi, I'm Pinkie pie," said a pink pony that was bouncing in excitement. "Do you like parties. I love parties. My favorite are birthdays, but I also love welcome to Ponyville." Whatever else the energetic mare was cut off by a white unicorn placing her hoof over her mouth.

"Sorry about that, dear. Pinkie doesn't have an off screen," she said. "My name is Rarity and this is my sister, Sweetie Belle." The young filly waved her hoof in greeting.

"Well, Twilly already knows me and Cadance, but those who don't know," said a white stallion as he ruffled Twilight's mane. "I am the captain of the royal guard and Twilight's brother and Cadance is the princess of love".

"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake! Clap your hooves and do a little shake!" Cadance and Twilight chanted together as they did their regular greeting before finishing with a hug.

"Finally it's my turn," said a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane. "Name's Rainbow Dash, fastest pegasus in all of Equestria and future Wonderbolt." She paused to point at a mare that was behind her. "And that is Fluttershy".

"Can somebody please explain what's going on," shouted someone. Turning to the back, the ponies were surprised to see seven non pony figures.

"what are you?" asked Twilight, curiosity in her voice. "I mean you look like monkey, but there are several differences".

"We're humans," said a young female with hair that remind some people of bacon. "Or rather they are".

"What do you mean, Sunset?" said a female that reminded the ponies of Rainbow. "And why are you acting so different?".

"I'll explain that when the introduction are over with, but you may figure it out before then," said a voice behind them causing the females to jump in surprise. Turning around, they saw that two figures were sitting on what looked like a stage. One was human and the other was a pony. Both of them had blonde hair with blue highlights. "So please ignore me and continue".

"Okay," said Sunset, unsure what was going on. "I was born in Equestria before going through a magical portal and ending up in the human world. Those ponies are your counterparts".

"Wait, if we have counterparts in their world," said the human version of Twilight. "Does that mean that you have a human counterpart?"

"Probably, but I never heard anything," admitted Sunset.

"Well, do we have to introduce ourselves?" asked human Rainbow Dash. "I mean you know our names".

"If you don't want to, you don't have to," said the pony on the stage. Rarity wanted to talk to her counterpart, but decided to wait. The faster the introduction, the quicker they learn about their situation.

"I am the Great and Powerful Trixie," bragged a light blue unicorn.

"Is it weird that I heard the capitalization?" asked the mysterious human.

"I'm Scootaloo," said a orange pegasus filly.

"My name is Starlight Glimmer," said the final unicorn. "I'll admit that it's strange to see you as an unicorn."

"What do you mean?" asked Twilight. "I've always been an unicorn".

"Well, for as long as I've known you, you've been an alicorn," said Starlight, already putting together what the two meant.

"A what?" said Twilight in surprise. The other ponies and human also was curious.

"Yeah, you were the princess of friendship," said Starlight, "or rather, you will be". Glancing at the stage to see the two male's response, she smiled as she got a nod. "Sunset and me are both from the future, though how far is unclear".

"Don't forget about yours truly," said the last figure. The figure was a mismatch of different animals and based on the royal sisters' reaction, he wasn't a good guy. "Oh calm down. I've turn over a new leaf. There were a couple of bumps, but thankfully there was someone that never gave up on me," said Discord as he sent a smile toward Fluttershy.

"Okay, that's it for the introduction," said the human. "I am Azrael and this is my counterpart, Aza". The pony nodded in greeting. "As to why I brought you here, there are two reasons. The first is to show you the future. Well, some of you will be seeing your past. This will be more about the ponies, but there will be part that focus on you seven".

"The other reason is get ideas for stories," said Aza. "We are what we call Editors. We take preexisting worlds and make our own versions"

"And to make it interesting, I've made it into a television show or a play or whatever," said Azrael

"You didn't make it," said a voice that the others couldn't find the source of.

"Shut up, Fred," muttered the human. "Fine, I am from an alternate reality where you girls are nothing than fictional characters that people watch for entertainment."

"Let's not waste anymore time," said Aza, not allowing any one to ask question. The screen behind them lit up as they left.
