To Be The Best Once Againby GoodEveningChaptersPrologueChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Prologue”And there you have it folks! Your new WBC middleweight champion of the world. Michael ‘Lightning Iron’ Reyes! I drop to my knees as I throw my hands up in the air, screaming my lungs out at winning that hard fought battle with the ex-world champ. My body ached from the fight, but that didn’t stop me from getting up and running up to the ropes of the ring and hopping onto them. I throw my hands up in the air screaming out to the crowd in joy. The crowd responded back with their own shouts of excitement and relief that I won. I look up to the ceiling of and point my hand up to it, tears streaming down my face as a wide smile spread across my face. This is for you, mom and dad. Every where I looked there was flashes of cameras, taking photos of me for achieving this hard fought battle. But then, things quickly changed as my whole world darkened and two bright blinding lights of a car beamed my way. A loud horn of a car seemed distant, but it seconds it was getting louder. Even the lights seemed have to gotten more brighter. I was telling myself to move, but I couldn’t. My body wouldn’t respond to my brain. In matter of seconds it hit me. I groan out tiredly and push off the bed. I throw the covers off and grab my legs and throw them over the side of the bed, letting them dangle lifelessly over the edge. I prop my elbows on my legs and rub my hands over my face. I let out a tired sigh, dreading to begin this new day. Who knew that memory would come back to haunt me once again. I look down at my legs and try to move them, but they wouldn’t respond. Over and over, time to time, I would tell myself to move my legs, to maybe even twitch, but nothing would ever happen. I hated when I did this. Always, in the morning when I would wake up I’d do this. I don’t know why, not like it ever helped. I always held a little hope that it work some day, but that hope every morning seemed to dwindle. I grab my wheelchair and pull it towards the side of the bed. I slowly drag myself off the bed and plop myself onto the seat. I grab my legs and put them on the pedals of the wheelchair. I let out another tired sigh and continue on to another day of being home. I pull up towards the kitchen table and set down my bowl of cereal. I grab the remote to the television, press a button, and on goes the T.V. I grab my spoon and take big mouth full cereal into my mouth. Once finishing that mouth full of cereal, I get a call of my phone. I reach into my pjs and pull out my phone. I look at the screen of my iPhone and see that my sister is calling me. I quickly tab the green button to answer. “Hey kiddo, it’s been awhile since you called.” At moment I was very happy to have her calling me. It really brightens my mood when she calls. “Hey, you think you’ll be coming over this weekend?” “No...?” “Oh... I see. Ok then. Tell Uncle Alberto and Aunt Marisa hi for me. Alright then kiddo, bye.” I drop my phone onto the table and cover my face with my hands. My day was already going shitty and now it got even worse. This is the third time they have cancelled on bringing my little sister. I get it’s a long drive over here, but I just wanted to see my sister. She’s the only thing that’s keeping me from feeling the way I am. I can’t take custody of her, because I’m only eighteen. An eighteen year old with enough money to support himself and his sister for years to come. I let my head slam onto the kitchen table and let out my third sigh of the day. I just didn’t know what to do. Ever since my career was ended prematurely I had people leave me. My corner team who I thought were my family left me after they found out I couldn’t box anymore. The people I thought who were my close friends left after finding out that I won’t be making much money any more. All these people who I thought were family up and left me. This emotionally effected me. I was pissed that they all used me and leeched off me. It also sent me into a state of depression, which lead me to not eating properly. I was like this for awhile, though not for long after my baby sister started to come around and see me. She really brightened my mood when she’s around. I don’t see her a lot anymore due to her living so far away. From where she lives, to my place, it’s about a four hour drive. My uncle and aunt are old folk, so I understand why they don’t want to drive all this way, but it isn’t fair. I can’t drive! I ball up my hands into fist as I clench my eyes shut to resist the tears swelling up. I slam my hand fist into the wooden table and loud crack is heard around the kitchen. “It isn’t fair,” I silently loath to myself. “Why are these things happening to me?” I throw my head back and look up to the ceiling, tears now flowing freely down my face. “What have I done to deserve this? I first lose my parents, then my career, and I can’t even see my sister,” I slam right fist down on the table again and fail to hear the sound of another loud crack. I lay my head down onto the table and put my hands behind my head. “I just... wish my life when back to normal. I just want my parents and sister and I to be back as one family,” I silently cry onto the table pathetically, not caring in the slightest at how pathetic I looked. “Is that what you really wish for, Michael?” I slowly look up and look around the kitchen with caution and bewilderment on my face. “W-Who said that?” I shakily said. “Look straight ahead.” I do as the voice said and find myself look at my T.V. What I find looking back at me is a woman in my television staring back at me with a oddly warming smile. I roll away from my table and slowly roll myself towards my T.V. I stop a few feet away from it and stare at the woman. “Either I’m losing mind, or you just spoke to me.” “I can assure you that you are not losing your mind, and I did indeed speak to you just like am I now.” I cautiously look around my house and then around my television to see if there is any cameras around that I didn’t notice that were installed on my T.V or house. I failed to find any and the woman in the screen looks at me with a bemused look. I stare back the woman, wondering what in the hell in going on. “You must be wondering what’s going on, am I right?” I slowly nod my head. “Then I’ll get straight to the point and not beat around the bush. I’m here to grant your wish.” My eyes narrow in on her and my heart seems to have skipped a beat. “I-I’m sorry.... what?” “You heard exactly what I said, Michael. But I will repeat it again to reassure you,” she locks her light red eyes onto mine and smiles. “I’m here to grant you your wish,” she then raises her hand up and before I can even say anything else, my vision turns white at the snap of her fingers. Chapter 1Slowly, my sight started to come back to me. At first I could only see blobs of colors, but with a few blinks my eyes, it cleared up. I look around me and find that I’m on a small stone bridge that goes over a small river. I look ahead and find that there’s a small cottage with a handle full of bird houses around it. There’s also animals ranging from small to medium sized, roaming around the small cottage. What the hell did that woman just do? The minute she snapped her fingers is the second I show up here. I was about place my hands on the wheels of my wheelchair, but they just pass through air and grab on to nothing. “What the...,” I look down and find myself looking down at me standing on two legs. Before I can start freaking out, a small timid voice catches my attention. “M-Michael, is that you?” The small voice asks, unsurely. That voice... it couldn’t be. I look over my shoulder thinking I would be finding my little sister, but I find a small little anthropomorphic equine girl staring up me with big scared, yet curious eyes. I turn my body fully to her and tilt my head to the side, “Angel?” The second that name came out of my mouth is the second I see the small girl’s eyes widen with tears. She slams her head into my sternum and wraps her arms around me. She rubs her face into my stomach as I had to push my right leg back to keep myself from getting pushed down, but that was ultimately a bad idea. I instead got the wind knocked out me and had to gasp for air, like if I was a fish out of water. I look down and lay a hand on top of the girl’s head. “Angel, is that really you?” She nods her head and keeps her face caved into my gut. “Why do you look like this?” She looks up me with puffy confused eyes. “L-Look like what?” she sniffles. I rub the back of my head. “Kid, you look like one of those little cartoon horses from that show you watch, but with hands and feet.” “You mean ponies?” I shrug my shoulders. “Aren’t they the same thing?” She shakes her head no. “Well whatever, you look like a pony,” then it hits. I narrow my eyes down at her, which gets her to tilt her head to the side in a very cute manner. “Sis...?” I say rather seriously. “Yeah?” “Do I look like a pony from that cartoon you watch?” “Yeah.” She then grabs something from behind me and pulls on it, which hurt. “Look,” in her left hand she holds a black short spiked tail with blond colored edges. She then points up at me with a big smile on her face. “You got fluffy pointy ears, Michael,” she giggles. I reach up to the side of my head to confirm what she said, and lo and behold, I got fully pointy ears. I didn’t know how to react to this, or how to feel about it. I know I should be freaking out about it, but I also know that it won’t do me any help. It will only spook my sister and I don’t want that. Though, it seems like she’s taking this pretty well. I don’t know where we are, besides knowing that we’re anthropomorphic cartoon ponies. “Hey kiddo, you know where we are at?” I ask the eight-year-old, as I look back at the cottage. She hums in thought while looking around, she then looks at the cottage that I was looking and instantly points her finger at it. Her eyes go wide in joy and seem to sparkle. “Big bro, that’s Fluttershy’s house!” “Who?” I questionably say. She doesn’t answer and starts to pull me towards the cottage. Getting to the door of the cottage was a bit of a hassle for me. Not having to use my legs for several years was bit...‘trippy’ to say the least. I’m actually over joyed that I got my legs back and silently thanking who ever gave them back to me. Once we arrived at the front door the animals all hid away from us. Some running up trees and some into the plant life on the bottom. Nothing to off, just your typical animals running away like usual, but these animals were a bit weird. The lot of them poked their little heads out from their hiding place to look at us. Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. Then again, you don’t see people suddenly vanishing from their homes and suddenly getting turned into ponies isn’t something you see everyday either. Angel knocks on the door rather loudly, so I quickly stop her. “Whoa there kiddo, I know your excited an all but that’s a bit rude to be doing that,” I was going to continue on scolding her, but then the door creaks opens slowly and a very quite timid voice speaks out. “Y-Yes, can I h-help with something?” A teal blue eye looks up at me with shyness from behind the door. The girl looked to be like if she would be frightened by small things, so I approach her in a soft way. I give the girl a small warm smile and speak to her the way I’d speak to my sister. “I’m sorry to bother you, but we’re ki-...” “Hi, Fluttershy! I’m so happy to meet you!” My sister jumps in front me to greet the girl, but instead the girl lets out a squeal of fright and slams the door. I look down at Angel with a disapproving look. “Angel, was it necessary to shout out like that? Now you scared her away.” She looks up at me with these teary eyes that kind of stung my heart a bit. I kneel down to her and pat her on the head. “I didn’t mean to,” she looks down at the floor in distraught. “I was just happy to see one the Elements of Harmony.” I wipe her tears away and chuckle lightly. “I know kiddo, I know.” I pick her up and place her on my shoulders. “C’mon, lets head into the small town up ahead, and see what we can find.” She hugs my head and lays her chin on top of it. She then sniffles a little and nods her head. “Chin up kiddo, who knows, you might find more of your favorite characters, or more of those Elements of Armory there.” “Harmony,” she corrects me sternly with a pout. “Oh whatever, you knew what I meant,” I poke her in her side to tickle her. She giggles cutely and kicks the heels of her feet into my chest. “Giddy up big bro! To Ponyville we go!” “Is that what it’s really called?” I tilt my head to meet her green hazel eyes with my mine. “Yuppie!” She then points straight ahead and kicks my chest again. “Onward!” You gotta be joking. The minute I set foot into to the lively town every individual stopped to stare and look at us. I froze in place and looked back at he people. My sister was excitedly looking around not giving a damn about what’s going around her. I awkwardly smile and wave to everyone, “Uh, what’s up?” The second I said that everyone started panicking and screaming their asses off. Some of them even yelling out that there’s a ‘scary looking pony holding a little filly hostage’. I couldn’t help but look at the scene playing out in front of me with an uncontrollable twitchy right eye. These idiots were bumping into each other and stumbling around while trying to get into their houses. I’m down here trying to figure what the hell the I did, while my sister is having a good’ol time laughing her ass off at the situation. In matter of seconds the whole town was deserted of any people, and deadly silent to the point where you can hear a pin drop. Angel giggles uncontrollably as she pulls my right ear lightly. “Look bro, you scared off everyone in town!” I sigh tiredly as I pinch the bridge of my nose in annoyance. “Is this what the ponies do here when they see someone new, or is it because I just look that scary to them?” “Mmm, they did this before when a Zebra named Zecora came through, but they become friends with her after the Elements of Harmony became friends with her,” she replies happily. “Sounds like these people are nothing but pus-... owowow! That hurts, kiddo!” Angel lets go my ear and bops me on the head. “What did I say about using bad words?” “My bad, geez,” I tenderly rub my aching ear. “Ow that actually hurt. I think these new ears are more sensitive than our normal ones.” “Sorry bro, but you forced to do that, and if you try to say another bad word, I’ll do it again,” she threateningly says as she puts her hand in front of my face making a pinching gesture. I go to playful bite her hand, but she quickly moves it away and giggles. “Do that again and I’ll bite you,” I chuckle playfully. She hugs my head and nuzzles her face into mu head as she giggles again. Our little fun is interrupted when I pick up a weird sound. My ears start to swivel in different directions trying to pick up on it. “Hey kiddo, you hear that?” I feel her shifting around on my shoulders, meaning she’s probably trying to hear what I hear. “Nope, what is that your hearing?” “I don’t know, but it sounds like it’s coming in fast,” my ears spike up and my body reacts on it’s own. I grab my sister and hold her against me. I quickly jump back just in jump to see something crash right in front of us. A large dust cloud obscures my vision, so I jump back a few times to get out of It to get a look at whatever made it. I was on edge now, my eyes narrowing at the cloud as I grip my sister close to me. I can feel my sister shaking a little from me suddenly grabbing her. She grips my shirt as she hides her face into my chest. The dust cloud disperses from a strong wind blowing it away. There where I stood, was a girl with one of the most smug looks I have ever seen. Her violet eyes locked onto my hazel green ones and have one tense stare down. Her smug look gets even more smug as she shakes her head. “Here I thought I’d be going up against some guy who’s big and tough that’s holding a filly hostage, but here I find is some scrawny punk,” she says with the most cockiest tomboyish voice. Just by her voice alone I wanted sock that smug look off her face. “Pfft, Angel, is she friend or foe, cause if she’s foe then I’m ready lay her cocky ass out,” I say with annoyed attitude. I really don’t like people who get cocky with me. It really gets on my nerves. Angel slowly looks over her shoulder to see who I was talking about, and in a instant she’s squealing in excitement. She starts tugging on my shirt as she points to the girl who tried attacking me. “Big bro, that’s Rainbow Dash! She’s definitely friend!” She then stars to wave at her. “Hi, Rainbow Dash!” The girl known as Rainbow Dash looks at us with a strange look and loses that smug look she had. She then jumps off the ground and starts to fly towards us. She hovers in front of us with a confused look. “So, he’s your older brother and some random guy holding you hostage?” she looks at my sister. Angel mushes he face against mine and wraps her hands around my neck. “Yup! This is my big brother, Michael. Say hi, bro!” I narrow my eyes at the rainbow haired girl. I look Rainbow Dash up and down and ignore her. I feel Angel start pulling on my ear again. I hiss in pain and look at her with an annoyed look. “Say hi, or I’ll keep pulling on your ear,” she pouts angrily. I give Rainbow Dash a side look. “Hi,” I simply greet with no emotion. Rainbow narrows her eyes at me. “What’s your deal? Why you gotta be a jerk for?” “Oh, I dunno. Maybe because you attacked me for no apparent reason,” I growl out. “I heard that you were some scary guy holding a filly hostage, so I acted,” she retorts back angrily. “Yeah, acted stupid. If I hadn’t reacted as quick as I did you would’ve most likely hurt me and my sister,” I angrily shout at her. This gets her to fly back a bit, stunned at what I told her. She averts her eyes from mine, realizing I was right. She looks down shamefully to the floor, but I didn’t care. I was pissed and I wasn’t down with her yet. I was going to continue, but my sister tugs on my shirt to get my attention, but I accidentally avert my angered eyes onto Angel. She flinches back in surprise and tears start to well up in her eyes. “Your scaring me, Michael,” she timidly says as she nuzzles her face into my chest. My anger quickly subsides as I rub her head. “Sorry kiddo, I didn’t mean to snap on you like that,” I kiss the top of her head to reassure her. I then look towards Rainbow Dash and see that she still has her head held down. I take a step towards her and put a hand on her shoulder. Her eyes are now on me, but when we locked eyes I instantly regretted snapping at her like that. Her violet eyes had tears streaming down her face, and she held this looks that was stinging my heart from looking at it. I wipe her tears away with a finger, which she flinches, but doesn’t back away. I give her and apologetic look and begin. “Look, I’m sorry I shouted at you like that. I probably shouldn’t have snapped at you I’m that way, you were just trying to protect my sister and everyone here from a ‘scary looking guy’,” I lightly chuckle. I then look down sadly at my sister who still has her face caved into my chest. “My baby baby sister is the only thing I got right now, and it would pain me to see you get hurt, and if she didn’t I wouldn’t forgive myself for it,” I bow my head down apologetically to her. “I hope you understand, and forgive me for reacting that way towards you,” I say with the most sincerest voice. I hear Rainbow sniffle and giggle, which I kind of found cute for some reason. She lands onto the ground and steps in front of me. “I totally get you dude,” I lift my head to look at her and find that she has a small blush across her face and seems to be averting her eyes away from mine. “I should be the one apologizing, I acted without thinking first, and for that... I’m sorry,” she then bows her head to me. I chuckle lightly and bop her on the head, “Apology accepted, Skittles,” Rainbow giggles and wipes her tears away and nods her head. “Now, how about you help me clear up things with the folks around here,” Rainbow nods her head and flies up. She stops a few feet up in the sky and cups her hands together over her mouth. “Hey guys! It’s all cool, the guy is friendly and is not a scary stallion trying to hold a filly hostage. You can come out now!” she shouts out. And with that said, the people start peeking out their houses. They then start to pile out and go on about their day like nothing ever happened. My eye twitches again. I feel like my eye is going to twitch more times than I’d like it to in the coming days. Author's Note If your liking this story so far, please, leave a like and comment. Chapter 2“Girls, I’d like you to meet, Michael and...,” she looks at me then to my sister down on the floor who is currently hiding behind my leg acting shyly for some odd reason. “Her name’s Angel, and she’s my little sister. It’s nice to meet you all,” I greet them with a smile. I then rub my sister’s head and push her out gentle from behind my leg. “Go on and say hi kiddo, don’t be rude,” I hear a snort of laughter coming from Rainbow. “Michael, I think you have no room to talk about being rude,” she states with a giggle. I narrow my eyes at her, “Hey now, we just went through a touching moment, don’t go on and ruin it,” I playfully hit her on the shoulder. “Touching moment?” a voice questionable says. I was going to prepare and explain what went down a couple minutes ago, but a cyan colored hand is placed over my mouth to stop me. “I’ll explain later!” she hurriedly says with a heavy blush on her face. I raise a brow and then slowly nod my head. She moves her hands away and averts her eyes away from me. Before anything can be asked about the situation, Angel peeks her head from behind my leg and stares up at the girls. The one with the purple curled hair spots her and lets out a squeal of delight. “Aren’t you just the most cutest thing I have ever seen!” she giggles and kneels down to greet my sister. “Hello there sweetie, I’m Rarity Belle. It’s a pleasure to you meet you.” Angel steps out from behind me slowly and looks up at the girls and then to Rarity. She then runs up to Rarity and wraps her arms her. Rarity couldn’t help but let out a little high pitch squeal. She couldn’t resist hugging back my little sister either. “Ooooh, your so precious!” I tilt my head to the side at my sister’s behavior. “Kiddo, you know who they are?” She lets go of Rarity and looks up at me with a happy grin, nodding her head. “Yeah! It’s the Elements of Harmony, big bro. My dream of meeting them has finally come true!” Tears of joy start to slide down her face. A girl with a light pink mane comes out from behind the five that were standing in front of us. She walks up to my sister and kneels down in front of her. She then lets out this warming smile as she rubs the top of my sister’s head. “It’s alright, don’t cry,” she says in one of the most softest voices I have ever heard. I couldn’t help but stare at this girl. For some reason she was really catching my eye. Never would I have thought someone to be so gentle and caring as her. You really don’t see many people like her. Angle then wraps her arms the butterscotch colored girl. She replies with her own as she softly combs her fingers through her hair, humming a little tune. I couldn’t understand the behavior of my sister towards these girls. Just, what are they to my sister? Are they really that special to her? I couldn’t help but feel a little jealous that my sister is acting this way towards them. She only acted this way with me and no one else. I couldn’t help but let it show either, and one of the girl seemed to catch it. “Gettin a little jealous there sugar cube?” I point to myself, “Me? Getting jealous? No way,” I turn away and cross my arms over my chest. “I don’t get jealous,” I lie. The girls giggle at my attitude, which in turn gets me to scrunch my nose up in annoyance. I then feel someone grab my sweat pants and tug on it. “Don’t get jelly, big bro,” she giggles. “l still love you the most.” I don’t look down at her. “You sure?” “Yup.” “Your positive?” “Yuppers!” I uncross my arms and place a hand on her head. “Ok then, I believe you,” I playfully tussle her hair. She giggles and hugs me tightly. This gets the girls to awe at the affection being shown. Then this girl with poofy pink hair appears before me. She had this crazy wide grin on her face, which kind of spooked me a bit. I held my sister close to me, and backed away a bit. For some reason I’m getting weird vibes from her. She starts to bounce in place, making her poofy hair bounce with her and other things that my eyes couldn’t look away from. “Hi, I’m Pinkie Pie! I’ve never seen you two here before, and I know everypony here, so that means you two are new! And that means a party needs to be made,” she shouts excitedly as confetti shoots up into the air out of no nowhere. “How did you-...” my sister stops me from asking my question. “Don’t think on it, it will only make your head hurt.” I giver her a strange look. “Listen to your sister, she knows what she’s talking about,” a girl with purple hair and pink highlight that goes through her hair, speaks out. I give her a look to elaborate on it, she gets the idea and just shrugs her shoulders. “Not even I can understand how Pinkie works. She does things that no pony can do, or understand. It’s better if you don’t try to think on it much, or you’ll end up with big migraine,” she clarifies. I cautiously look at the bubbly girl and just nod my head. “Whatever you say.” I soon got to know everything about the six girls, and I mean everything. I got the info mostly from my sister, cause she knew all about this place and who they were. The girls were very shocked to hear my sister explain everything to me about them. Things about their childhood, how they became friends, and all the adventures they had. I was even shocked that she knew so much about them, but not so much as the girls. I knew she was into the cartoon about them, but I didn’t know she was that into it that much. She even explained how Twilight became an Alicorn. I didn’t even know what that was until my sister explained it to me, which again, was a shocker to me and the girls. When my sister was finished explaining everything to me about the back story of the six girls, we were suddenly blinded by a light and our scenery was changed from partially clouded blue clean sky, to a huge library built from crystal. I look around cautiously, wondering how we got here. My attention is then pulled to Twilight who is looking at me with seriousness in her eyes. Even the other girls look at me the same way, but for what reason? Did I do something to make them cautious of me? “Michael, how does your sister know so much about us?” Her horn light’s up in a purple aura and necklaces appear on the girl’s necks, while a crown appears on the Twilight's head. “Are you one Tirek’s minions?” I didn’t like what was going on. I grab sister and push her behind me. I hold out my hand towards them in a surrendering manner. “Whoa, take it easy. I don’t know who this Tirek guy is and I’m not one of his minions. Let explain why my sister knows so much about you guys, so ease up on... whatever those things you got,” I say warily. “AppleJack, is he lying?” There’s a small pause as AppleJack locks eyes with me. Her stance seemed to relax a bit after staring at me for a bit. “He’s tellin the truth.” I let out a breath that I didn’t know I was holding and let my tense muscles relax. Twilight still has her eyes locked on me and her horn still wrapped in a purple aura. “Explain,” she harshly says. “Angel, I don’t think these girls are the same kind and lovable characters you enjoyed watching on T.V.,” I look down to her. My ears pick up on something being charged up and before I can react, I’m launched back against a wall and feel back make contact. Pain spread out throughout my body, like a virus. I bounce off the wall and hit the hard floor. I coughed up some blood and tried to get up, but when I moved my left side surged in pain and another glob of blood is coughed up. My ears are ringing and my eyesight is distorted, I couldn’t make a single thing that was happening. I soon feel myself start to slip away, as my eyes slowly close. Third person P.O.V Everyone stood around shocked at what had just happened. The only two to react quickly was Angel and Fluttershy who ran towards Michael. “Twilight! What in tarnation was that for?!” AppleJack exclaims loudly. “Oh crap, Twilight. He’s banged up,” Rainbow bluntly adds in. Twilight was just as shocked as them. She opens and closes her mouth, but no words come out. Tears start to slowly slip from the corners of her eyes from what she has down. Fluttershy is working diligently and fast on Michael’s downed form. She carefully flips him onto his back and puts her ear against his chest. After hearing that his heart was beating regularly, she listens to his breathing. It was irregular and harsh. She then pulls his shirt up and quickly spots a very discolored bruised spot where his left rib cage is. She gently pokes around the bruised side and feels that a rib has broke off and mostly likely punctured a lung. “Girls! We need to get him to the hospital quick,” she looks towards her friends and sees them coming out their shocked states. Twilight is next to Fluttershy and with a flash of her horn Fluttershy, Twilight, and Michael are gone. The one’s left in the room are Rainbow, AppleJack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Angel. Angel, not really taking it to well let’s out heart-rendering cry. The girl’s ears fold back at the powerful cry. AppleJack is the first to move towards her and hold her in her arms to comfort the little filly. Angel latches on to her cries into her shoulder. AppleJack is silently cooing quietly to her to calm the troubled filly. She then holds her against her, and rocks back forth. This seemed to help as the filly started to quiet down. The four girls didn’t know what to do next, everything happened so suddenly. The things they could only do now is comfort the distraught filly, and hope that Michael will come out fine. Fluttershy and Twilight follow closely behind the medical ponies who were rushing Michael down a hall in a gurney. They quickly make swift and careful turns to get to their designated area. Once they arrive to a room numbered 304, they push through the double doors. The two mares are stopped and told to wait in the waiting room until further notice. They don’t get anything else from the doctors, so they’re do as they’re told. Twilight collapses on a chair and silently cries into her hands. She was so ashamed that she caused a pony harm without reason. She was just being too cautious and attacked Michael, even after being told that he was telling the truth. Twilight then felt her friend wrap her in a hug. She leans into her friends shoulder and cries softly. “I-I didn’t mean to attack him t-that way, I was j-just scared,” she sorrowfully mumbles into Fluttershy’s shoulder. Fluttershy doesn’t say anything and just comforts Twilight to the best of her ability. She just silently hopes that Michael and his sister can forgive Twilight for what she has done. Few hours later/// Nighttime All the girls sit quietly in the waiting room, anxiously waiting for any news from a doctor or nurse, but nothing has come up. Angel is swiftly asleep on a chair, dried tears evident on her face. An hour goes by and soon a unicorn doctor that took Michael to the room is seen coming around a corner with a clipboard floating in front of him. He looks up from his clipboard to look around for the girls. He spots them and makes his way to them with a smile. The girls look up to find the doctor heading their way. They all stand up to hear any news about Michael? “Hello you six, I’m here to tell you that your stallion friend, will be making a quick recovery,” he says happily. All the girls let out sighs of relief and slump down to their seats. “But,” all their attention is back in the doctor, “I have a few things that came up, nothing bad, I can assure. They’re jus things I’ve never seen in a earth pony before, or in any pony for that matter,” he says in awe as he once again looks at his clipboard. “What you mean doctor? What kind of things did you find?” Twilight asks, a bit worried now. Thinking that she probably did something to Michael. “Well for starters, he has a very fast healing factor, which is why I said he will make a quick recovery. Also, this stallion has a very solid muscular body. His muscles are tougher than most metals here in Equestria,” he stated loudly. He then continues. “When I was going to insert an IV into his arm, it wouldn’t puncture the skin. The first time I tired it broke! It took four of us doctors to magically force a needle into his arm! No wonder he didn’t receive to much damage from your attack, Princess Twilight. If it were a regular earth pony that you attacked, they would of died from far more major injuries. Can you believe that?” the girls can only shake their head disbelievingly. “I couldn’t either, but those were the least of my concern. It’s the last one that had me worried,” he carefully pauses as he looks down at his clipboard. The girls anxiously await for him to start again. “Your friend is...” First person P.O.V Michael/// Morning The morning was an opponent that I never seem to ever win over. Its fast jabs of sun rays hit my eyes annoyingly. I groan tiredly and try to shift to my left side to get the annoying light away from my eyes, but stop and wince slightly in pain. I let out a hiss as I slowly move back onto my back. I open my eyes, slowly blinking them to adjust my vision. I shift my eyes around to scan the room I’m in. Different scents hit my nose as I take a breathe in. The room I’m in smelled clean and sterilized, almost like hospital rooms did. I look around some more to confirm that, and find that I indeed was in a hospital room, but why? I remember I was with the girls and we were chatting, but that’s all I remember, everything else after that is a little fuzzy. Something shifts under the covers from my right side, so I lift the covers up to reveal my sister sleeping soundly, cuddled up to my side. I chuckle lightly at how cute she looked. I lay a hand on her head and lightly scratch at her cute little ears. Then, a soft vibration sound emits from my sister. Is she purring? That’s something I didn’t know ponies can do. Also, I couldn’t help to notice the pony version of my sister. She had the same colored hair as me, black with faded in blonde edges. Her coat wasn’t space gray like mine, it was beige color. She’s still the same height and still her lively self, so even if she’s something different, she’s still my baby sister. I started to get tired of laying down on my back, so I went to sit up, but my sore left side held me back. I let out a groan of pain, which accidentally woke my sister from her slumber. Her eyes flutter open and lets out a cute little yawn. She lifts herself up and looks around tiredly, rubbing the sleep out her eyes. “Morning sleeping beauty, did you sleep well?” I softly smile. She turns my way and stares at me with a long yard stare, then in the corner of eyes tears started to form. My smile vanishes in a look of worry is placed on it. I prop my elbows on the bed to lift myself up. “What’s wrong, Angel?” Angel softly pushes her face against my stomach and wraps her arms around me. She starts to quietly sob into my stomach, not telling me what’s the matter. All I can do to comfort her is rub her head. “Angel, do remember what happened to me?” She nods her head, but doesn’t look up at me. “Are you sad because of what happened?” She nods her again. That explains why she’s sad, but doesn’t explain what happened to me. Did something bad happened to us that got me in the hospital? What exactly did happen to me? Before I go any further into my thoughts, Angel mumbles something incoherently into my stomach. “What did you say, I couldn’t hear you,” she looks up me, and does something that makes my heart melt. Her eyes look up to me in a pleading manner and she pouts as her lip trembles. “I said, c-can you s-sing me a song, p-please?” She pleading says with a sniffle. My face heats up a little as I look away from her. “Aw, kiddo. You know I don’t like singing, it’s embarrassing for me and you know that,” I rub the back of my head awkwardly. “Pleeeeeeeeease!” her plea is heard, but then muffled has she sticks her face back into my gut. I let out a tired sigh and quietly listen towards the door to see if anyone was behind it. I don’t hear anything so I prepare myself. “Ok then, if it will make you feel better,” I tussle her hair lightly. “Do want the usual song you like, or another one?” She mumbles out the usual, so I nod. “Alright then,” I close my eyes and clear my throat. I begin with a soft hum, and let the words flow freely. [“I Won’t Give on You”] “Hmmmm ... Hmmmm ... Hmmmm ... Hmmm ...,” I look down at my sister and find her looking up back up at me. “When I look into your eyes It's like watching the night sky Or a beautiful sunrise So much they hold And just like them old stars I see that you've come so far To be right where you are How old is your soul?” I let out smile and poke her on the nose, to which she giggles at. “I won't give up on us Even if the skies get rough I'm giving you all my love I'm still looking up” “And when you're needing your space To do some navigating I'll be here patiently waiting To see what you find” “Cos even the stars they burn Some even fall to the earth We got a lot to learn God knows we're worth it No I won't give up” I raise my voice in volume so I don’t miss a beat. “I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools and gifts we've got yeah we got a lot at stake.” “And in the end, you're still my friend at least we did intend for us to work we didn't break, we didn't burn We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in I had to learn what I got, and what I'm not and who I am” I let my body fall back against the bed and continue on. “I won't give up on us Even if the skies get rough I'm giving you all my love I'm still looking up I’m still looking up” “I won't give up on us God knows I'm tough, I am love We got a lot to learn God knows we're worthy” “I won't give up on us Even if the skies get rough I'm giving you all my love I’m still looking up” I softly end the song with a smile on my face. “There, happy no-... oh,” my sister blissfully sleeps away, a smile adorning her face. Knowing I could make her it made me also just happy. Nothing right now can ruin my happy moment with my sister, but fate had other things planned for me, like a group of anthropomorphic females standing outside an open door, looking at me with shocked looks. Judging from the way they’re looking at me, I can safely say that they heard me sing and all I can do in reply to their shocked looks is avert my face away from them as a heavy blush of embarrassment soon appears across my face. Jesus Christ, I mentally sigh, can this day get any more embarrassing than it already is? Soon I will find out that I have just jinxed myself, ultimately sealing my fate for whatever embarrassing moment that has yet to come. Chapter 3Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.
Prologue”And there you have it folks!
