//-------------------------------------------------------// Outlander -by Blood fallen- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Prologue It was a normal day Rogue got out of bed later than usual around 9:00am looks around sits up and get out of bed, standing up Rogue walks over to the window. Opening the curtains and look out it’s a good day if Rogue remember right the weather forecast was sunny all day. “Should be nice all day, maybe I can take my sister somewhere nice when they get home from school,” Rogue said to himself. Rogue turned around grabbed his Black and silver dressing gown off the door hook and headed to the shower, when Rogue get to the shower he strip off turn on the shower and takes the time to clean everywhere. Around 30 minutes later Rogue was out of the shower and getting dressed, Rogue put on a set of blue jeans, the Cyan sapphire necklace he got from his two younger sisters, a red long sleeve t-shirt and set of brown leather hiking shoes that were very comfortable. After Rogue got dressed he grabbed a custom lightsaber from a sword stand went down stairs to the ten acre garden of his family’s large privet estate, and started to practice lightsaber form 5 which is the same style used by Anakin Skywlaker in revenge of the Sith, Rogue didn’t brag but he knew he was good because he was able to copy the moves from the films and even do some moves from the comics. Rogue had been training for almost three hours when he put his Lightsaber the belt clip and went to his privet workshop to finish up some of his paid projects, like making and testing high power motion assist servos for a new type of mechanised battle unit not too different from the iconic Mobile suit Gundam mecha. Rogue’s workshop was top of the range the best his milt-billionaire parents could buy, with enough custom technology and machines to put Ironman’s MCU workshop to sham a hundred times over. Rogue went to a screen and video called Dr Yama-to Tanashi who Rogue was working for to give him an update on his progress. “Dr Tanashi I have good news, the parts you’ve hired me to build and test are ready for shipping and will be with you in a few days,” Rogue said in to his web-cam to the middle aged Japanese man on the screen. “Thank you Rogue, your assistance on this project has been essential for its completion, as such I invite you to Japan for the unveiling, we could not have done this without you,” Dr Tanashi said thanking Rogue for the part he played in the beginning of a new age of armored infantry. “It would be an honor to be there and see the fruits of my labour first hand, until then Dr Tanashi I wish you good health and good luck,” Rogue said ending the call. Sanding up and looking over at his 1970’s black Dodge Charger that has a supercharged v8 engine with twin turbo, Rogue went to take a step but his strength left him and he collapsed into unconsciousness and vanished from Earth before he hit the ground. Some time later Rogue woke up and the first thing that he noticed was that he was now in a forest and not is at home workshop, Rogue sat up letting a skull splitting ponding in his head pass preventing him from doing much. When it passed Rogue got to his feet and looked around his surroundings. “Strange I don't know this woodland, it's not from my home town… ok I should do a check of what I have on me, still got my phone my wallet and my lightsaber no blade, can still use it as a flashlight,” Rogue said to himself knowing the battery if fully charged, so Rogue pressed the activation button and to his surprise the blade came out "What the hell," Rogue thought to him self deactivating the lightsaber and reattached it to his belt clip to confused to question what was happening. “I should start moving," Rogue said not feeling safe in such an open space in unfamiliar territory "I think I will go this way,” Rogue said pointing a finger in a random direction, just as he started moving, a roar like nothing on Earth echoed from somewhere deep in the forest. “Ok I have seen a lot of wild life documentaries, and I have never heard anything like that,” Rogue said not wanting to find out what kind of beast the roar came from. Around an hour of running later Rogue stopped when he come across an old fort, it looks like one of the forts from Skyrim, but completely abandoned and mostly over grow with plants. Rogue decide to check it out “I might be able to find something useful and catch my breath while I'm at it.” Rogue said out loud breathing heavily. As Rogue entered the fort's grounds slowly making mental notes that the fort was badly decayed and that some of the stones had fallen out of place “This place is falling apart, I’ll have to watch my step,” Rogue said as he enter the centre of the forts grounds and notice a stair case made of stone to the left and some old training dummies to the right. Rogue walk up the stairs onto the wall and notice half the fort was built over a cliff “Holey shit, I'll need to be extra careful.” Rogue said to as he continued to explore the grounds. Rogue decided to ground level and enter the fort through a door in the main courtyard to look around “...Wait this looks like an armoury, maybe I can find a normal sword, I don’t want to reveal my lightsaber unless I have to” Rogue said looking left and see a big stained glass window on the far side that depicts two woman with wings and horns sealing a strange monster that like it was made of several creatures in stone "I wouldn't want to be that guy." Rogue said before moving on. Rogue looked around for half an hour but all the gear was rusted beyond use, just as Rogue was about to leave he spotted something from the corner of his eye, it was a dark grey cloak with a hood that has an Assassin’s Creed style hood point and three leather straps over the upper left arm. “It’s not a sword but I can still use it,” Rogue said as he reach out and grabbed the cloak, put it on before finding the shattered remains of a mirror and looking at himself. Rogue turned around and put the hood up not knowing that unbreakable shadows had covered his face, Rogue went back outside not sure of where to go next “I should find a view point and get the lay of the land,” Rogue said looking for a high place and spotting the only tower the fort had “Top of that tower should be high enough,” Rogue said heading to the tower, when he got to the top he was able to see for miles all round. From the top of the watch tower Rogue spotted something to the west “Looks a town on the other side of this forest… wait is that a ruined castle as well, I guess this forest wasn’t always hear,” Rogue said mildly surprised at what he cold see from the top of the tower “Well now that I have a direction it’s time to move,” Rogue said to himself but out of nowhere his phone started to ring so he pulled it out of his pocket and answered. "Hello?" Rogue asked but all he got was static and then battery got very hot very fast so Rogue dropped his phone and the battery exploded "Fucking great, now I have to buy a new one when I get home” Rogue said leaving the fort in considerably worse mood than when he arrived. Author's Note Just thought I would deepen Rogue's back story a little. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: First Contact //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: First Contact It has been 3 hours since Rogue left the fort he's tiered thirsty and starting to get pissed off, but Rogue had finely see’s the edge of the treeline, when Rogue got there he decide to sit down at the base of a tree to rest for a while. While Rogue was resting under a large oak tree he noticed a cottage not too far from his resting place but Rogue also started feeling something within him, he didn't know what it was but he felt stronger as if something that was previously dormant within him was awakening at a rapid pace. After 30 minutes of resting Rogue got up and could see a yellow woman with pink hair and a tail “A local why yellow... never mind that she must know the way to town, so I might as well ask,” Rogue said readying his nerves as he started walking towards the cottage. When he got there the woman or at least what Rogue think’s it's a woman, she looks like a cross between a human and a pony with wings, she was wearing a white vest and jeans Rogue cleared his throat getting her attention “Hello miss would you happen to know the way to town?” Rogue asked not sure how she would react. “Y-yes I know the way just follow the path that way and you will be in town in no time… if you don't mind me asking what is your name?” Fluttershy asked in a whisper. Rogue got the answers he needed, but the questions caught him off guard “Well I got turned around in the forest over there and as for my name, sorry but I don't know if I can trust you so just call me the… Outlander ok,” Rogue answered coming up with a title on the spot and trying his best to sound as friendly as possible. Rogue noticed she has several large and heavy looking bags of animal feed “Do you need help moving those bags?” Rogue asked seeing it as an opportunity to get more information about whereever the hell he ended up. “A-are you sure they’re very heavy and I wouldn’t want you to get hurt,” Fluttershy said in a whisper again. “I’m not doing this for free I need basic information about this land, because I’ve never been here before so it’s simple, I help you and you answer any question about this land that comes in to mind deal?” Rogue asked. “Deal,” Fluttershy answered finely speaking up. “So where do you want them?” Rogue asked as he walked over and lifted four bags with each arm witch were not as heavy as Rogue expected somehow. “This way pleas,” Fluttershy answered leading the way around to the other side the cottage surprised that this stranger was so strong, not even Big Mack could lift four bags of feed with one arm. “So what’s the name of this country or kingdom?” Rogue asked doing his best to keep his eyes off of Fluttershy’s curvy body. “This country is known as Equestria,” Fluttershy answered as they came to the other side of the cottage that had more than twenty animals rabbits, birds and foxes even a bear “Set the bags here pleas,” Fluttershy said pointing to a spot just in front of a lot of bowls. “Are all these animals yours?” Rogue asked noticing even more animals coming out of some of the bushes. “No, all the animals are wild I just care for them when they’re hurt or ill,” Fluttershy answered opening one of the bags and filling the boles. “So you’re some kind of vet… makes sense I guess the quiet type are normally good with animals,” Rogue said watching the animals act like he wasn’t there “So who’s in charge of this Equestria?” Rogue asked probing for more information while keeping an eye on the more dangerous animals. “That would be Princess Celestia, Luna, Twilight and Cadence.” Fluttershy answered gently patting a wolf on the head. “That’s sounds very... complicated and strange, so what kind of money is used here?” Rogue asked as he watched the animal that would normally be a predator ignore what would normally be it's prey in favor of the feed that Fluttershy put in the bowls. “Equestrian currency is a solid gold coin known as a bit like this,” Fluttershy answered taking a bit from one of her pockets and showing it to Rogue. “I see… if you don’t mind, what exactly are you, your spices I mean?” Rogue asked suspecting that he already knows what the answer would be. “I’m a pony, a Pegasus to be specific,” Fluttershy answered extending her wings fully before closing them. “Are there other types of ponies?” Rogue asked his curiosity now peeked. “Yes there are a few types actually Erath ponies, Pegasus ponies, Unicorn Ponies, Bat ponies were also recently rediscovered a few years ago and finally Alicorn ponies,” Fluttershy answered explaining how many different types of pony exist in the world. “I see, well I’ll be on my way now and have a good day,” Rogue said as he walked back around to the front of the cottage and continued in the direction of Ponyvile. “Good bye and thank you Outlander,” Fluttershy said seeing Rogue off not know the utter chaos that was about to unfold. After Rogue had finished helping the woman she kept her end of the deal and now Rogue know the name of the land and the names of who is in charge and what type of money was used. Rogue was surprised to find that the woman in the cottage was right about it taking no time to reach the center of the town to his surprise none of locals were looking for more than a second witch meant his cloak is working and keeping eyes off of him. Rogue found a market street and started asking some more general knowledge questions to venders so he would be able to hide in plain sight, when asked where he was from Rogue would answer with "A far distant land," and in a way that right a very far away land. Rogue just started heading to the next street over when a sky blue mare, with let’s say skittles for a hair wearing a matching blue tracksuit pointed at Rogue and said “Hay you wearing the cloak are you a bad guy?” She shouted for every pony to hear her. Rogue started to walk towards her, she got into a fighting stance but Rogue just walked past her as if she was not there and she didn’t like it. Because she tried to get in front of Rogue several times but every time he just walked around her, not giving her the time of day or night it gets to a point when she fly’s in front of Rogue and punches him in the gut saying “Take that.” But Rogue took it like a man “That was uncalled for,” Rogue said as she pulls her arm back to hit him again, but this time Rogue was ready for it, so he cached her fist and quickly puts Rainbow into a position where he could easily dislocate her arm. “This is the only warning I’m going to give you, try to hit me again and I will defend myself with force by breaking your arms,” Rogue said before releasing Rainbow “I meant what I said, if you hit me again I will hit you back,” Rogue said as he start waking away again Rainbow Dash and a few moments later he get a sharp pain in his back, and roared out in pain “What the fuck is it this time!” Rogue shouted as he turn around on the spot to see a lavender mare, with a horn and wings she was wearing dark jeans and purple vest and her horn was glowing. Rogue looked past the lavender mare that had just attacked him and sees a white mare wearing a casual white dress with purple hair in a fancy style tending to skittles, who seemed to have some pains in her arm, Rogue return his gaze to the mare in front of him, she says “What did you do to my friend?” “She hit me first, so I defended myself” Rogue answered and he don't think she liked the answer she got, because she fired the spell aging but time seemed slow down and Rogue pulled out his Lightsaber, and sent her spell into her right shoulder. As soon as the deflected spell hit Twilight had a similar reaction to Rogue’s “Now you know how I felt when that hit me in the back a moment ago,” Rogue said as Twilight got up and sent another spell and another and another maybe 20 or so, but Rogue sent all of them in different directions “Out of steam already,” Rogue taunted as a smirk crept onto his face, Twilight tried one more but like the rest Rogue’s cyan blade met it and redirected it safely into the sky. Twilight speaks up and says “I didn't want to use this kind of magic in a populated area, but you leave me no choice,” Rogue put Lightsaber back on the belt clip wondering what she’s was up to but he feel that power within him again but this time it was burning like a raging flame in his flesh blood and bone. Twilight raised a hand and a magic cercal formed in front of her hand and it fired a beam of magic at Rogue. Rogue didn't know why but he raised his hand and his crimson eyes glowed and a similar red beam shot from his hand without a magic circle, and hit Twilight's making an explosion that formed a mushroom cowed over Ponyvile that could be seen for miles. There is now blazing inferno between Rogue and Twilight, Rogue used this as a distraction to run into an alleyway and think to himself, the power still active in his vines “I need to get out of here,” Rogue said to himself and thought the old fort, and in flash of red light he was back on top of watch tower, from the tower Rogue could see the smoke rising from the town “Well shit,” Rogue said looking at his handy work. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A Fight to Remember //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: A Fight to Remember Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Rarity all walked into the map room of Twilight's castle “Who was that back there?” Rainbow asked pacing around the room frustrated that she had been humiliated by a stranger as if it was nothing but childes play. “I don't know darling, but I must say whatever he is… he must have a lot of raw magic power to have matched Twilight's magic like that, and his weapon… I’ve never seen or heard of anything like it but and I must admit all of his movements were masterfully executed without the slightest hesitation, and his reaction speed was also highly impressive clearly well trained for combat… Twilight darling what do you think?” Rarity asked noticing that Twilight seemed lost in thought. “I know this is going to sound crazy girls but… when he used magic it felt unrefined untrained, primal like it's the first time he ever used it in his life, but that just doesn’t make any sense I mean any unicorn should at least be trained to the apprentice level of magic skill but… this guy is has magic with as much raw powerful as mine so you would think he was trained to some extent.” Twilight said getting nods of agreement from her friends. Spike came in and ran to Rarity’s side “Are you ok? I saw what happened form a window, you’re not hurt right?” Spike asked concerned for the safety of his crush. “No need to be concerned Spike, besides I was not fighting that would be Twilight and Rainbow Dash so you really should be asking them not me.” Rarity answered. “I know but they can handle themselves, but if I were there that guy in the cloak wouldn’t know what hit him,” Spike said throwing a few pretend punches into the air and even breathing a bit of fire. “Spike you should never go looking to start a fight.” Rarity said, at that moment the door opened as Fluttershy, AppleJack and Pinkie Pie walked in. “I saw the explosion from the farm.” AppleJack said. “I hope no pony was hurt in the explosion?” asked Fluttershy. “My pinkie sense went off to let me know there was someone new in town so where is he and don't spear any details,” Pinkie proclaimed with a massive smile on her face and speaking at a million miles a second as always. “No Fluttershy no pony was hurt, just my pride as a princess.” Twilight answered feeling embarrassed that she had been bested by a novice. Rainbow Dash jumps into the air and said “Now that the six of us are together we need to find that cloaked guy and take him down with the magic of friendship, just like the other bad guys we deal with every other day,” the rest of the group agreeing with what Rainbow had just said. “So uh who are we looking for, I mean three of us just got here and don't know who are you talking about?” Fluttershy asked softly afraid they were going to be facing some kind of monster. “You got a point we should tell you who're looking for, all we know is that it's a man in a hooded grey cloak with shadows covering his face all creepy like.” Rainbow Dash answered. “Wait I met a stranger this morning while I was tending to my animals, he was dressed like the man your describing, if I remember right he said he got turned around in the Everfree, and he came from a very far distant land and wanted to be called the Outlander, he asked for directions to town so I told him but I couldn’t have imagine he was capable of that explosion, I’m sorry girls if I knew he was dangerous I would not have told him the way to go.” Fluttershy apologized. "It's not your fault Fluttershy, how could you have know he was this capable of that kind of destruction," Rarity said putting an arm around her friend to comfort her friend. "So Fluttershy you met this Outlander fellow, did he seam aggressive to you?" Applejack asked. "No, he actuality was actually very polite and helped me carry some heavy bags of feed for my animals." Fluttershy answered. "Twilight are you sure this guy is bad?" Pinkie asked "I mean he sounds normal to me." Pinkie added. “I don't know if he's really bad or evil at all but I do know he was first sighted coming from the Everfree and nothing good has ever come from there," Twilight answered "So he has a lot of raw magic power he doesn't want any pony to know his name and where he is from… that’s not much to go on but I think I have seen a drawing of the cloak clasp he was wearing," Twilight said to her self going to one of the book cases "If I remember correctly like I normally do the cloak clasp was used by spy’s 1000 years ago in a cliff side fort on the other side of the Everfree. He might have got it there so that should be the first place we search for him, but before we go I’m going to send a letter to Princess Celestia letting her Know what happened this morning,” Twilight said getting what she needed to write a letter. Immediately after the incident in town at the fort “Well shit,” Rogue said looking at his handy work “That went to hell fast,” Rogue said to himself “What was that power I used… wait that girl used a magic cercal like in an anime… do I have magic too?” Rogue asked himself considering all the possibilities and implications of what having magic could mean. Tacking a moment to clear his mind and nerves Rogue felt it just under the surface raw, primal and powerful Rogue look down to his feet and sees what’s left of his phone. “Ok there are two ways to prosed I go back to town and beg forgiveness or I try and teach myself how to use this magic… the second one is more appealing, so that’s what I’m going to do, let’s think how do they do it in anime... they clear the mind first?” Rogue asked himself again. Rogue sits down, crosses his legs, close his eyes and begins to clear his mind “So what’s next?” Rogue said and when Rogue open my eyes he is no longer at the fort, but rather he is stood next to an ocean of lava in a volcanic landscape the heat almost unbearable. “Is this what my magic looks like… now I get it fire represents my power at its most primal, if I'm going to control this power I need to embrace these raging flame that represents my power without fear or I’ll never be able to use it at it's full potential,” Rogue said as he began walking into the lava. It burs at first but as Rogue’s fear and hesitation was burned away the lava became a strong red light, and for the first time in his life Rogue could honestly say that he felt complete like finding the missing piece of a puzzle and finally seeing the full picture, because by accepting the primal flames that is his raw power Rogue was able to take the first steps on the path to become the man he was born to be. Moments later Rogue’s crimson eyes open, silent unseen flames burning within them Rogue gets up his new found power flowing through his flesh blood and bone making him stronger and more resilient than a normal human, Rogue looked to his feet and see the remains of his phone Rogue raise his right hand, and focused on all the pieces lifting them up into the air and snaps my fingers, fixing his phone like new but just to be sure Rogue takes the Sim card out just to be on the safe side. Rogue powered up his phone and it gives him a no Sim notice and Rogue touched the ignore option on the screen, Rogue put his newly fixed phone into his pocket then look down to the fort courtyard, Rogue focused on recreating the feeling from when he left Ponyvile and in a flash of red light Rogue was in the courtyard and no longer on the top of the watch tower. Rogue looked to his left and could see the old training targets “Nice it's like someone or rather pony as the locals say left it there, just for me and I plan on making good use of them in the time I have,” Rogue said with a smirk. “Ok I think for the time being I should use spells from Skyrim, since I know the casting moves and what the spells do, so let’s start with something simple… the apprentice level fire bolt should do nicely,” Rogue said concentrating on using his magic. Rogue stands in front of the target about 30 foot away from it so average mage battle range, Rogue raise his right arm close his fingers like a cage and made a fire ball in his hand, then Rogue extended his arm in the direction of the target and open his fingers. The fire bolt shoots from Rogue’s hand and hits the target, Rogue does this 10 more times, to make sure that he has a hang on how to use the magic and the spell. Rogue decide to try the expert level thunderbolt spell not realizing the drain an expert level spell would have on his magic reserves at his current ability level. Rogue pints his arm forward, puts his thumb into his palm point his index and middle finger, and puts his ring and pinkie into his palm and fired the spell aging and again with more power this continues until Rogue ended up blowing a hole into the perimeter wall of the fort, the sun was going down when Rogue heard several gasps from his right, it was then that Rogue realized that he was not alone anymore. Rogue turned to the right and could see 8 mares 6 of them he recalled seeing it town the white one started to speak. “I am Celestia co-ruler of Equestria and Princess of the sun, it has come to my attention that you have caused trouble in my kingdom, what do you have to say for yourself Human?” Celestia asked looking down at Rogue as if he was a peace of dirt. “Ok first thing first, I didn’t do anything until she hit me,” Rogue said pointing at Rainbow Dash “Then she attacked me when my back was turned,” Rogue added moving his finger to Twilight before lowering it. Celestia looked over at Twilight and spoke in a very low voice “Is that the truth Twilight?” Twilight answered with a nod and cast her eyes to the floor, Celestia turned her attention back to Rogue her expression becoming more friendly “It would appear that there has been a miss understanding, so if you just come with,” Celestia did not finish her offer before Rogue interrupted her. “Didn’t ask, don’t’ need it, go fuck yourself,” Rogue answered before Celestia could finish the offer. The dark blue one spoke up and said “We strongly suggest you reconsider that decision Outlander.” Luna said in warning. “You shouldn’t threaten me, because I'll make it the worst and last mistake of your life?” Rogue said in an aggressive tone of his own. Celestia seemed to lose her nearly limitless patients with Rogue as her horn glowed and she fired a spell Rogue, Rogue dogged and cast a powerful thunderbolt spell at Celestia before the Lightning hit Celestia’s spell the lightning turned jet black with a white glow, when the spells hit they made a powerful shock wave. Before Rogue could fire another spell Luna shot right at him and kicked him square in the chest knocking him off his feet and into a wall taking the wind out of him, Rogue slowly got up coughing up blood “Cheap shot bitch,” Rogue said catching his breath Luna once again shot at Rogue but this time he was ready and dogged her kick, but Luna grabbed Rogue by his left arm and throw Rogue into the wall on the other side of the fort courtyard. “Stay down Human, before I am forced to actually hurt you,” Luna said as she watched Rogue rise to his feet again. “Just who the hell... do you think I am, because I'll tell you who I’m the Outlander and I’m going to kick your ass for that,” Rogue said getting an idea on how to even out the difference in physical strength between himself and Luna. “Have it your way Human, I will make you regret your own stubbornness and then I will make you my play thing,” Luna said charging at Rogue, Rogue dogged again and activated the magic in his flesh blood and bones to increase his strength and punched Luna under her right arm in the ribs sending her flying in the wall this time. Luna got back on her feet quickly “Impossible body amplification is an incredibly difficult, you shouldn’t be able to use it without any training.” Luna said in wide eyed in disbelieve that Rogue could use such an advanced form of magic on pure instinct even Celestia was impressed at Rogue natural skill with magic. “I kick logic and reason to the curb and do the impossible, that's what I’ve always done and it’s what I’m going to keep doing,” Rogue said as he started discharging black lightning from his body without realizing. "We'll take it from here," Twilight said stepping forward with rest of the main six. "Someone out there must really hate you, because now your going to have to fight me and I'm not holding back this time," Rogue said facing the main six as he dropped into a fighting stance. "Oh ye well it's six on one," Rainbow said flying at Rogue, but Rogue simply side stepped grabbed Rainbow by the face with his right hand and slammed her face into the ground before throwing her at her friends feet. "Make that five on one, soon to be zero, now let's see if I can take down the rest of you without magic," Rogue said cracking his knuckles "So who's next," Rogue said taking a new stance. "H-How could you do that to her?" Fluttershy asked going to Rainbow's side. "Well I did warn her that I would use force the next time she tried hitting me, besides it's self defense she attacked first" Rogue said casually as if it was the most normal thing in the world to knock someone out before throwing them like a rag doll. "You hurt my friend I can't forgive you for that," Fluttershy said flying at Rogue ready to fight, but as soon as she got in range Rogue used a pressure point to put Fluttershy to sleep without any pain, before Fluttershy hit the ground Rogue cough her and gently set her down. That's it you varmint your going down," Applejack said using some rope to try and lasso Rogue, but Rogue dogged again grabbing the lasso and pulling Applejack off her feet towards him Rogue let go of the rope pulled his arm back and punched Applejack with his natural sending her flying straight into Pinkie Pie knocking them both out with one attack. "I hate to say it Twilight, but we might be out of owe league with this one," Rarity said noticing that their friends were unable to fight meaning the magic of friendship was out of the question. A smile spread across Celestia's lips knowing she had good odds “I will accept your wager because I know there is no direct way to the bottom for miles,” Celestia said agreeing to Rogue’s terms. The moment Celestia agreed "A word once given can never be broken," Rogue said focusing black lightning around his body into his right hand and punched the ground with all his strength sending his black lightning through the ground to the fracture in the cliff, as the lightning hits the fracture it goes left and right at the same time breaking half the fort off the cliff making it fall, the mares look at Rogue completely shocked at what he just did. Rogue slides to down to the watch tower door and jumps landing on the side of the watch tower and then he runs up the side of the tower getting a look at the horizon as the fort falls. Rogue senses movement behind him and puts his magic into his legs and did a back flip as Celestia moves under him trying to grab him with both arms 13% power. Luna try’s a more direct approach of landing on the tower and running up to grab Rogue, when she gets close enough Rogue wrapped lightning and fire around his right fist, and throw the punch in Luna’s direction sensing a spiral of lightning flame at Luna forcing her off the tower. 10% power. Celestia is comes from behind again so Rogue wrapped the lightning flame around his right leg spinning on the spot, and kicked Celestia sending her back the way she came. Lucky for her Rogue was able to finish the jobs for Rogue's help the innkeeper paid him with a free room and 300 bits for the quality of the work. The Innkeeper tolled Rogue about some monster that where nearby and had been choking the towns tourist market, so Rogue was thinking I have magic I have a lightsaber why not be monster hunter and make some money “Sounds like a plan,” Rogue said raising his mug of cider and down the last of the cider in one mouth full. Rogue then got up and walked over to the bar “Can you get the innkeeper for me?” Rogue asked the Bartender. “Of course I’ll let her know you want to see her,” the Bartender answered and walked into the back room. A few moments later the Bartender and Innkeeper came out of the back room and the Bartender went back to washing glasses. Did you need something else Outlander?” The Innkeeper asked the Innkeeper was a fairly ordinary Earth Pony, with light brown fur spiky orange mane and tail and dressed in a casual suit, trousers and shoos. “I remember you saying something about a monster somewhere nearby, I was wondering if there is a reward for its head.” Rogue asked. “My sister is the mayor and she has put a reward of 500 bits for the beasts head… so should I tell my sister you’ve taken the job Outlander?” the Innkeeper asked. “That’s right but I’m going to need to know where the last attack was and where the most recent sighting were,” Rogue answered and started preparing himself for whatever he was getting himself into. “The last attack happened a few hours before you arrived the other day, just follow the road south from town you’ll know the spot there blood everywhere, and no pony who sees it lives… my name is Ginger Ale by the way,” Ginger said revealing the place to start looking. “Thanks, that’s a good lead I’ll look into it right away,” Rogue said as he walked out the door and made his way to the site of the last attack. Arriving only a few minutes later Rogue realized Ginger was not lying, it was a massacre and there was blood everywhere, a cart flipped on its side and even small bits of meat in places. “Fuck me… this was overkill,” Rogue said looking around for any tracks that could be followed. Rogue decide to look at the cart and pull it back up right the left side of the cart had been smashed but no blood, he then looked at the front of cart and notice a rancid smell that can be described as rotting corpses in pig shit. “Fuck in hell that stinks like a bog,” Rogue said noticing that a part of the cart had been chewed on and was thick with saliva that was the sours of the smell "If something smells that bat it's infected with something I'll have to make sure I don't get bitten at all cost. “That explains the stink… and why the beast has bad breath, to find it I’ll need to follow that stink,” Rogue said putting a hand to his face to block the smell. Turning around and following the smell into the trees, Rogue was able to see tracks and claw marks in the trees so he stopped to look at them. “Looks like a large dog or a wolf track but, the front track is different ripped up by long claws like the claw marks on the tree,” Rogue said turning around to examine the claw marks on the tree. “Tour clawed finger and a clawed thumb almost six feet off the ground… tall, wolf like tracks, clawed hands, walks and runs on all fours and up right… all the characteristics of a classic Werewolf which explains the massacre on the road,” Rogue said as he noticed the sink was getting stronger, so he slowly pulled his hood down and reach for his lightsaber and slowly turn around. Rogue didn’t see anything at first but he could hear snarling and a smell that is almost unbearable, Rogue ignited his lightsaber and took a two handed stance, ready to strike as soon as the beast came into sight. A moment later the beast which Rogue thought would be a werewolf, was actually a reptilian creature with a similar build jumped high in an attempt to pin Rogue down. Rogue went low lightsaber above His head and cut the beast in half as it went over him killing it in one move “That was close if I reacted a second later I’d be dead man," Rogue said taking a deep breath "oh well time to take the head and claim the reward I guess,” Rogue said cutting the head off the beast and returning to the town claim the reward.
